as much as i love that klapollo is the epitome of an Interesting Cool Guy Ever falls for Just A Guy dynamic ... klavier very clearly thinks apollo is the coolest guy in the world. like he calls apollo cool several times in 4-2 Alone

let's be soooo for real. if someone referred to apollo as Just A Guy klav would be flabbergasted. offended even. what's cooler than a 5'5 transmasc guy who stares autistically in court for a living?

I believe that after gaining amnesia in 2-1, Phoenix just starts to forget small tasks and simple things like chores. Because canonically the next case Phoenix has after the amnesia one is 3-2 with Ron DeLite. One thing I noticed during that case is that Phoenix cleans the toilet a lot, which could be seen as him being a germaphobe. Although, I want to believe that since it’s such a simple task, Phoenix doesn’t remember cleaning the toilet before, resulting in a very clean toilet. I also believe that he wouldn’t notice that he’s accidentally cleaned it like 5 times until someone actually calls him out on it.

The problem is that most of the people close to him would probably just brush over it, assuming he just likes things clean. Apollo and Athena are definitely some of those people. Since they are usually the ones cleaning the toilet in the future, they probably just assume that Phoenix either really likes cleanliness (which is definitely not apparent from the rest of the office) or he’s giving them busy work. Phoenix on the other hand doesn’t even remember asking them to clean it in the first place, but doesn’t want to back down his stance and admit his fault (if he remembers at least).

Maya is one of the only people who can call Phoenix out because she’s the only one who really knows about the amnesia. She’ll be like, “Nick, you already did that 3 times!” Or “Nick, stop making your employees clean that toilet, it’s gonna get bleach stains!”

Trucy can also call him out, but she does it in a very nonchalant manner, mainly being like, “Daddy, I think you already cleaned that before.” Or “Don’t worry Daddy! Polly and Athena already cleaned it an hour ago!” Basically she remarks it in a way that it would feel like idle chatter.

I feel like Phoenix would also do this with other tasks, but in the opposite way. Instead he’ll be planning to do something simple, but amnesia kicks in and he can’t remember a single thing in that moment. Which wouldn’t be a problem, but it would probably also consist of eating certain meals every once in a while. While Phoenix has the full intent to actually eat, it might just slip his mind and he may not remember until he’s nearly starving. This wouldn’t happen as often though, it would probably be most prominent during the 7yg and when he’s working on stressful cases.

Edgeworth on the other hand doesn’t really have a stance on the whole thing. Of course he loves a nice, clean toilet, but he also likes when Phoenix can remember to feed himself. Once he finally catches onto the cause of why Phoenix does all of it, he starts to call him out too. He would say it a little more bluntly than Trucy, so that Phoenix can catch on that he didn’t simply forget it. Although, that doesn’t stop Miles from banning Phoenix from cooking without supervision. Because if Phoenix walks away from it for a second, there’s a huge chance he may not remember to come back. But the 3 of them have a great time cooking together anyway, so Phoenix doesn’t mind.

TLDR: Phoenix Wright has amnesia with simple tasks. This causes him to either repeat certain tasks many times, or completely forget to do them altogether. Only few of his loved ones have the mind to call him out on it though.

Sometimes you have to think about Gregory Edgeworth and his channeling and how devastating it must have been for him to go from probably seeing his son throw a gun in his direction and then waking up in a body that isn't your own only to be asked about who killed you. Imagine the pain he must have been in learning in quick succession that:

you're dead!! Oops :[ . but hey, don't worry! we're channeling you to ask about your death! btw we don't know who killed you and this ls is a last resort to figure this out, so were asking you if you know who did this! and the last thing you remember is your son throwing a gun at you

how are you supposed to process that? he's already panicking about what's going on with Miles (I really like the scene in the anime where he's asking about him its such a good addition it hurts,,,) and then knowing its possible he did kill him by accident it and LYING to protect him!!!! This guy who clearly believes in justice being done and finding the true killer based on evidence just fully ignores all of that, all of his work, the thing Miles looks up to him for, to protect him. he just withholds a true testimony commits perjury, to protect his son and it just. And this happens basically just after he got MVK his first, and only penalty that he fought for for a year to prove and, unknown to him, that penalty is what got him killed and hes witholding evidence liKE MVK FOR THE SAKE OF MILES EVEN THOUGH IT OPPOSES HIS MORALS AND ITS JUST. HE LOVES HIS SON SO MUCH,,,,

God I love Gregory Edgeworth, he haunts the narrative so so well

and from all of that you have to think about who was there when he was channeled to interview him and I just like to throw Tyrell Badd in there for fun. Someone had to find them in the elevator and who better then him? he was probably already in the courthouse to testify for Masters trial and he's a Detective he's on scene he probably jumped on the DL-6 case immediately. He knew Gregory and worked with him for the year the trial was waiting to happen, gathering evidence and helping prove that mvk forged evidence and just. He had to have heard the gunshot and scream from wherever he was and he isnt scared of being shot, look at his coat, so he would run in and just find them after looking for whatever the gunshot was and not knowing who was hurt and finding that. like the door was open too from when MVK walked in and. just inagine him finding his friend (or romantic partner, let me live in my rairpar hell) dead against the wall, with his son who is was his pride and joy on the floor unconscious but still breathing, and another unknown person who is in the same boat as Miles in the elevator and just needing to process everything in that room immediately and move on to help who he can and. I'm normal about these guys i'm so normal about DL-6 and how you can interpret what happened with the investigation between what we do know and and and it hurts. i love Ace Attorney so much <3

You people do not understand how feral I am about Phoenix with a genetic immunodeficiency problem/disease. Like, always wearing masks, always shivering during the cold months, always seeming just a bit dizzy, a bit numb in the feet (which could tie into his clumsiness) And, as a bonus angst point, always being embarrassed about not being able to function ‘normally’ and sometimes needing assistance. Your honor, he is simply my little man.

Thanks to the travel & all-nighters studying niche things for cases, I think Nahyuta has some serious dark circles under his eyes. He just hides them under makeup because of the pressure to look perfect.

In Turnabout Storyteller he's face to face with Simon, someone who can & will show all their flaws openly, but his eyes don't have a badge of honor or interesting battle scar like his. Nahyuta looks bruised under his foundation. It must make him envy Panda a little.

in the spirit of being given an inch and taking a mile, imagine apollo being into cosplay and going to cons. i get the vibe he and clay got into it together and it was Their Thing

that being said he probably makes his own cosplays given the games imply he's broke asf which is outrageously endearing to me
