Soooo I'm going to go back to archiving my legacy here (because Twitter is in a precarious situation, wix is not working anymore unless you pay and I don't want to lose all my work) so expect a ton of Polaris Legacy posts I guess

sobbing my eyes out because the look harry gives lily in the graveyard scene in the gof film as she tells him to let go is heartbreaking. this is the first time he can consciously remember hearing her voice beyond the screams of her death but he doesn't even have a moment to treasure it, because he's so scared. my heart breaks for him and my heart breaks for her. "your father's coming, he wants to see you, it will be alright. hold on," she says in the book, suggesting that in death, james and lily desire to see and hear and hold their baby, but they have to prioritise his safety, again, missing yet another moment to just exist with him.

btw i'm still hoping there's a chance for Taylor to activate the distress bracelet, if for nothing else, so i could hear Tommy make a quip about "having to expect a tracker for christmas" only for Taylor to interrupt Buck's inevitable "it's not a tracker" spiel... basically i just want the three of them to bicker in the middle of an emergency

Imagine Juniper finding out Abigail is the Wizard's daughter—

and not even by making the connection herself, imagine Sam or someone sees Juniper near Abi by happenstance (probably at the general store to get some stuff) and he's like "Abigail, you have a relative over and didn't tell me??"

And Juniper is all surprised and offended at first (how DARE he insinuate she's related to this rando???)

But then she sees Abi's hair. And really gets a good look at her face

I hc that Abi and Emma would fall for each other at the same time, but Emma would recognize her feelings a lot sooner than Abi. Emma's love for Abi is the warm fuzzy kind that makes you want to wrap the person up in a blanket and hold them close to you forever. Abi's love for Emma is the kind that keeps you up at night with racing thoughts and makes you kinda want to kill the person. or something like that. y'know?

I was working on my TCW timeline behind my laptop, so lots of 22/21/20/19 BBYs there. You get the picture.

My boyfriend was watching over my shoulder and suddenly started ranting about how much he hated the concept of the BBY-ABY dating system, like, why would they use such an unpractical system? Why would you work with a 'year zero' to count to and from?

I looked him dead in the eye and told him we use the exact same concept. 2024 AD, my man. The BC and AD, the 'year zero'. He was slightly taken aback.

I love him so much he is so precious he thinks I'm crazy about Star Wars but I'm just crazy in general

okay but I need the backstory to this immediately.

we know james and sirius are incredibly gifted wizards, and from what we see of sirius and what we hear of james, also incredibly gifted duellers. I don’t see either of them as being particularly cautious or fearful in their fifteen-year-old iterations.

so what is it that makes them eye lily warily as soon as her wand is out? do they just know how brilliant she is because they’ve been in lessons with her for five years? I choose to believe there’s more to it. has she hexed them specifically? has she hexed other students in their presence?

I think this specific line breaks down the entire concept of lily being a perfect little prefect. james and sirius, known troublemakers and avid duellers, are genuinely nervous when looking down the wand of lily evans! there is something there and I’ll never stop thinking about it.

I’m obsessed with the idea of vigilante lily evans hexing potter and black out of perceived service to the school. puts a whole new spin on “you’re just as bad as he is” in which…she…is just…as bad…as potter and black. delicious to me!!!!!

Listen, I love Abi but I feel like she would realistically die in the pool house, right? She’s not really going to shoot Nick! She doesn’t know that it won’t kill him!

I also feel like realistically she should get a chance to shoot him AFTER he turns but I understand why the game doesn’t give us that.

I feel like having her hit the squirrel and need to put it out of its misery, if you fail that qte, is supposed to be some kind of parallel but it doesn’t quite work because she’s not exactly stopping Nick from suffering, she’s saving herself. And I feel like she’d have a hard time doing that.

I think it’s 50/50 whether she could realistically bring herself to kill the squirrel, she might be able to stomach it because she knows it’s suffering, but it’s more like 80/20 odds that she’d actually shoot Nick. She hasn’t seen the premonition from The Devil card. She only knows that he’s being violent with her, but I think she’s more likely to use the gun as a threat to keep him at bay than to actually shoot him.
