I can honestly admit now that I've spent mojority of the past year numbing my emotions out and wallowing in depression . But I can now say it really does help to finally just say f* it and embrace your emotions, work through it and take steps to try and overcome that depression. Thats a year of my life I wont get back and constantly spoke about change but never took action to invoke that change. Don't wait till tomorrow, don't wait for anyone else, take action now and take back your life. Middle fingers up to any society or any system that dictates how I should be living, and now I'm living my best life. Cut out whatever and whoever is toxic and actually get HELP when you need it. Accept that it's your life, and actual take responsibility for it and then work towards living the life that you want for yourself , no one said its going to be easy and no one is going to do it for you... So lemme iterate what I'm trying to say on the second quote: So like I feel, you need to be quite a neurotic person who kind of overthinks and over analyzes everything thing. This way, when you analyze an abstract piece you formulate deeper and insightful stories from the piece which is heavily influenced by your own life experiences and personality... Or You need to be so out of the box, creative and abstract in your thinking that when you see an abstract piece of art, your mind starts building stories, and theories trying to understand the artists point of view which is inevitably based on your own thoughts of how the world works... In my opinion good art is not supposed to be obvious nor should it be an open book. I'm not trying to tell you how to think, but rather I'm encouraging you to JUST THINK... Good art should invoke thought and emotion, but what you think and feel when you see a piece of art should be solely up to you as the viewer, and it's not my place as the artists to tell or dictate these things to you... The best I can do, I visually guide you with my work... I guess it's safe to say, that good or great art should resonate and reflect with the viewer, more than with the artist... The beauty behind abstract art is that it is not dogmatic...
