Had a great convention at Vic Freak in Vic, Barcelona, Spain this weekend! I turned several of my Yori: Hidden artworks into postcards and I think they ended up looking pretty nice!

I also made a couple of additional postcards of some art I did of LadyDevimon from Digimon and an older Mass Effect piece of Garrus Vakarian.

I created some A4 prints especially for the con of Bulma from Dragon Ball (an Akira homage) and The Ghoul / Coop from the Fallout TV series. These were very fun to make!

Lastly, I revised some old art of mine that I still like of Jun from Gatchaman / Battle of the Planets and Hyoga and Seiya from Saint Seiya / Knights of the Zodiac.

Abraxus the Bold!

This guy is only ever mentioned, and it's actually by Trixie! She cites him as having done a "bunch of boring stuff". Sooooo given that she's an absolute adrenaline junkie, I decided that meant he was some scholarly dude.

This guy was probably a night around Clover the Clever's era. Whether before or after the windigos Idk, but I'd like to think he used to be part of the group of unicorns that raised the sun every morning. Maybe after Celestia and Luna took over he was one of the ones to discover the uses of the Sunstone and Moonstone?

Ancient times unicorns definitely have the longer tails and are more likely to have beards. Not that modern unicorns dont have those, they're just far rarer after the tribes started intermingling and having kids with one another.

They're both apart of a not-so-secret society/club in their school

They were both manipulated by a powerful figure they, (Vinh and Nathan), looked up to, who used their, (powerful figure) position of power against them (V & N) to get what they, (PF) want, all at the expense of a girl they, (V & N), liked. (In Nathan's case, a few girls)

Like, a lot of potential talking points here.

Part 2 of my 2-part Virus flashback scene for my Yori: Hidden fan art series. Yori faces down Abraxus when help arrives in the form of a familiar Light Cycle rider. Looking for 2 fanfics

Anything like this is appreciated, I’ve been looking for these for almost 2 weeks now!

1. The plot basically goes, harry and Voldemort are dueling during the final battle and their spells backfire (?), and they see each others lives. After the flashbacks, they start referencing some things they saw, specifically abraxus malfoys hair Turing pink! It’s a one shot and I think the end is them hugging.

2. Same as the first one, dueling during the final battle, spells collide and they get stuck in a golden dome. The only way out is the forgive (?), or something. Pretty sure it’s 1-2 pages. Sorry if it’s vague, that’s all I can remember!

The first one doesn't ring a bell, but the second one sounds like Of Your Making by purplewitch156 (link is to the AO3 version of the story).

Summary:

An unexpected twist during the final battle has Harry trapped inside a magical artifact with only his greatest enemy for company. The Carcerem will release them, but the requirement for freedom is an impossible one, for neither Harry Potter nor Tom Riddle will ever forgive the other.

Just caught up on B&G. You are SO incredibly talented. Your artistry is unmatched. I don’t do “ships”… I just try to take each story at its merit. I think you could turn so many elements of B&G into its own standalone story in a world outside of HP (like Senlinyu is doing with Manacled and official publishing.) That’s not to say you should be doing that — or that is the goal — just that your writing, imagination, character building and plot is GOD TIER. Your Tom genuinely fucking terrifies me. He’s unpredictable and as a reader you truly BELIEVE. I always thought she had the upper hand on him and now I’m like…. Fuck… What does he know?! How did he find her in that shack? What did he mean by most cunning…. Arrrghhhhhdmdmdmskksnsnssnmask.

RIP Abraxus.

(Also side note… I love reading the comments on that fic. I feel like that “get on your fucking knees” did things to half of us and makes me chuckle seeing it)

this made me so happy to read 🥹 funnily enough, my sister (who is in the writing/ff world but stays far away from the problematic shit I personally write lol) recently asked me if I knew ‘what was going on with the dramione writers’ to which I said no, because even though tomione is pretty close to that??? Sort of??? I still didn’t know what she was talking about… and she told me all about how that writer is getting published and people were getting mad that they were taking their ff down eventually…? So drama about people printing senlinyu’s story and binding it and selling it??? ON ETSy? So other dramione writers are pulling their works in solidarity??? Some super ridiculous stuff!!

anyway, thanks so much for this, especially the bit about not ‘doing ships’, honestly so refreshing to read that 😆 and yes I loved writing that line of riddle and am glad it hit its mark 🙃

He tried his best to keep a low profile wherever he went, but some places were harder than others. Many did not know if face under the helmet. Which alone was good, but still made him uneasy that someone would react to him.
