When he was little, Sokka was trapped in the spirit world. He returned to his house with some help. He thought it was a dream, until he gets trapped in the spirit world again and receives the same help from the Spirit Guardian.

Initiating a curious relationship between an immortal entity and a simple human.

I've noticed that the times I've drawn Aang like that and with long hair it's always in a depressing AU... And I have quite a few drawings of different AU's where I draw Aang so I haven't posted, so I wanted to vary.

I also realized that I didn't properly AU the ship SokkAang, and what better way to start it off with my immortal x mortal trope?

yueki! i love yue and suki and they would be so cute together 🥺

in a yue lives au i think yue and suki would meet after the war, maybe at some global leaders summit where the kyoshi warriors are serving as a guard or natural disaster thing where all four nations have sent aid and the kyoshi warriors are helping out? under the cute because i wrote A Lot about how they get together and meet :)

yue and suki meet each other and don’t even realize who the other is because they’ve found a moment to take a break so they sneak out in civvies and go to the market and grab a bite to eat. 

yue and suki are admiring the same food stall, they’re waiting for their food to be finished and then they accidentally take each others orders. they realize and go to give the other one their food and yue, who is much smoother than suki, sees this cute girl and goes, “hi! do you want to share our stolen meals together?”

suki, seeing this cute girl asking her out, obviously says yes. so they share one meal not knowing who the other is flirting gently because they’re probably like late teens early twenties here and neither of them are very good at taking off time from their repsonsibilities and relaxing so this little moment right next to a disaster is special for them. 

they also both think that the other is just a traveler and they’ll never meet again but suki is used to relationships like that and yue’s only ever had a bodyguard secret boyfriend who left after a few weeks to keep up the fight with the avatar but was a very good penpal friend and a flopped engagement due to the whole secret boyfriend so she kinda wants to try something sweet and short that doesn’t need to mean a lot

so they try each others food and get to know a little bit about each other and agree to meet up the next day for breakfast before they both have to go to work

when they return to the reason they’re in town they still dont meet because of near misses for the rest of the day. sokka talks to both of them and tells them that he wants to introduce them to someone he thinks they’ll really like. 

yue: sokka, are you trying to set me up on a date? sokka: yes yue: sokka thats so sweet. i dont have time for another long distance relationship. please stop

suki: sokka are you trying to set me up? sokka: yea....? suki: sokka are you suggesting i cant get my own girlfriends? sokka: hahah no im definitley not its not like you’ve been single for months or anything - oh look theres aang i need to talk to him haha!

anyway, point is sokka is trying to introduce each other in a formal capacity but suki and yue are Refusing because they don’t trust sokka’s matchmaking skills even tho he’s right on the money this time

they meet up for breakfast and they find a quiet place in nature and talk and they are both very curious about each other and find out that they’re both in town for the same thing (leaders summit or natural disaster aid) and suki hesitantly brings up meeting up at the end of the days work and yue is Very nervous because she is a princess but she’s really liked talking to suki and thinks that suki’s bad jokes are the funniest thing ever so she says yes and goes and runs to ask katara for help when she gets back to work

suki reluctantly goes to sokka for help because he is her best friend and if he managed to date her and the cool princess of the water tribe/part time moon spirit she heard of he must be Some help

katara does not realize yue is asking about suki while sokka realizes immediatley suki is asking about yue and decides to cause problems on purpose but in a cute way. he tells suki he knows who she’s talking about from the war effort and they plan a very romantic night and sokka, very much liking this not knowing who the other is dynamic, tells suki to arrive in her civvies and he sends a letter to katara to tell yue the same (knowing perfectley well yue and katara are best friends and go to each other for things like this). then he goes to katara while suki and yue are on their date and they plan how to do a very dramatic reveal because the truth is they Both like causing problems on purpose

yue and suki have a very romantic date and they end up stumbling into a little underground fighting ring because this is just the kind of trouble yue and suki will find themselves accidentally discovering for the rest of their lives together and suki enters and wins as a nonbender because shes simply badass and yue is very impressed and suki uses the prize money to gift yue a necklace they find together in the market after the fight

after the date yue shows katara the necklace, and katara who has been making problems on purpose with sokka, tells yue to wear it tomorrow which is the last day they’re spending in this city/town at the party they’re having

which is of course where it all leads up to. suki and yue are hoping to meet up at the party tomorrow because katara and sokka have now been actively scheming to keep them from meeting up before then, but they have no concrete plans and don’t know what the other does or where they’ll be at the party

they both get grand entrances one after the other, yue wearing the necklace suki gave her, and they stare in shock finding out that the other is a very fancy global leader/symbol and not just a regular citizen. sokka smiles and gloats about being the best matchmaker ever and yue and suki sneak off from the party to makeout and sneak desert in the kitchens and compliment each other on being entirely competent

they end up being long distance goals, best pen pals of all times, yue spends two months a year going on aid projects with the kyoshi warriors as a northern water tribe representative, and suki takes a month off once a year to spend with yue in the north pole. 

they spend the rest of their lives together training and sneaking away from fancy events to find little known corners with parties and surprises
