Mmmm KITH and Trek? I’ll have some of that thank you.

Glad to see someone else has the same crossover interests! This particular one seems to be a rarity.

Some of it definitely holds up. Haven’t seen more than a couple episodes in years though. I prefer the weirder stuff like the one with aliens, and the one with the hypno tvs.
I honestly can't even remember anything clearly enough to even remember specifics. What I do know though, is I love the over the top cheesiness of this era of TV, like Star Trek and Batman.
So just assuming, I'd probably love the aliens and hypno TVs.

Ignore anyone telling you to skip any part of this show, especially the first time through. The payoff is so great and you will be the worse for not seeing it in its entirety. Season one plants so many seeds, wait and see and fall in love.
Believe me, if I get people selling me hard enough on sticking around for the good shit in later seasons, I am never skipping the first season. I'm a Star Trek mark, I know first season is where all the core lore is buried. You tough that shit out, and you get rewarded later with glory.

What is your opinion on Scooby-Doo dressed like a grandma?
Felt like a gag straight out of the cartoon, so I was all for it. Nothing else to really say about it.

@vasovagus:
I agree 100%. I actually have Cade: The Tortured Crossing at #6 or #5 on my list of Neil Breen films. Enjoy them all but, yeah. Whereas Twisted Pair is my #1 or #2.

Ah, I see you're a fellow Breen appreciator!

I dig that headcanon, I really do. Then 100 years later, Starfleet isn’t so stick up their butt about it, and that’s why we hear Klingons swearing in Klingon a lot.

Do you have a favorite Neil Breen movie?
Pass Thru, or Twisted Pair. It's so hard to the point I can't decide. It would change every day you ask me that question. Who knows, when I finally see Tortured Crossing it may change again.

Wait is Jimmy a problematic dude??
Unless I'm conflating information, he's allegedly one of those anti-mask, anti-vax, anti-COVID safety precaution dudes.

Okay I love AEW (duh) and the story/creative was better a while ago but yeah it's definitely fallen off. The matches are great but that's not gonna cut it because you can see great matches pretty much anywhere nowadays. I think they have something with Christian and Copeland but other than that, the product feels really cold for the most part.
You got it in one statement. It's 2023, you don't see bad matches on television. It's not like 1995 or something. A "bad match" these days is only bad because of the grading scale, and it's honestly perfectly fine. You tend to only see bad matches on indies, and even there it has to be a pretty low down the ladder indies. With students, or weekend warriors. AEW need good creative... It needs to be pro wrestling, not message board wrestling. I swear if you had Bryan Danielson and Jimmy Jacobs (Personal feelings aside about the person of Chris Scoville) do creative, you'd immediately have a better product.

It really seems like all it's got in common with the games is car and clown. At least from what I've read.
I mean, you would have to do a lot to the game to make it ANYTHING for TV but... Trailer sure didn't say what, lol.

where does one go to read fanfics? i used to read em on here but it’s been a while

also i agree. this was def what made reading fan fica a lot of fun when i was a wee lass.
I assume most people go to archiveofourown.org for fanfics.
Thanks for the reply. I just like extensions of the established world and not an continuation of established characters. I''m already into the canon and resolution of the characters, so I don't need more. I just love people taking these worlds, and creating their own work.

No shit? I haven't watched TAS since I was a kid, I keep meaning to get back to it at some point.

Any chance of some gif sets from the first ten trek movies? So often they don't get gif attention. ☺️
I'm sure I will at some point; I've made a few. I'm sure I'll make more. A lot of gifs ideas are so random in my head, so I'm positive the Trek movies will come up at some point. I'm far more familiar with the shows, so my brain tends to think of that stuff more, hence more gifs. Thanks for the ask.

Awesome vs Tanaka is one of the greatest career rivalries ever
I mean, I don't want to theorize what was done to Awesome's brain as a result of working like this, and I think Tanaka still walking and active is a modern miracle, but yeah. Absolutely enthralling work to watch.
