Filozof-İmparator Marcus Aurelius

Roma İmparatoru olduğu dönemde Markorman Savaşı sırasında ‘’Kendime Düşünceler’’ adlı bir otobiyografik eser hazırlayan Marcus Aurelius, imparator kimliğinin yanında filozof olarak da ün kazandı. 

Roma’nın en iyi imparatorları arasında gösterilen Aurelius, küçük yaşından beri çok detaylı ve özenli bir eğitimle yetiştirilmiştir. Hocalarının, onun felsefeye olan yatkınlığını görmesi ve bu yönde yönlendirmesi sonucunda felsefeye ilgi göstermeye başlamıştır. Bu ilgi zamanla o kadar büyümüş ki Aurelius, filozof gibi giyinmeye başlamış, Antik Yunan pelerini ile gezer olmuştur.

Marcus Aurelius, imparator olduktan sonra da felsefeye olan ilgisini kaybetmemiş, Atina’da Aristotelesçi, Platoncu, Epikürcü ve Stoacı gelenekleri sürdüren felsefe kürsüleri kurdurmuştur.

Onun yazdığı Kendime Düşünceler eserinden bahsedecek olursak; eser Stoacı bir yaklaşımla yazılmıştır. Düşünürün kendine notlarından, düşüncelerini kağıda geçirme şeklinde yazdıklarından oluşturduğu eser, onun davranış ve düşüncelerinde yönlendirici, teşvik edici olan felsefi bir yol rehberi gibi görünür. Stoacı yaklaşımın temel alınarak hayatın nasıl yaşanması gerektiğini anlatır. Bilindiği üzere Stoacı yaklaşım, kişinin özellikle ahlaki yönden doğaya uyumlu, iyi, erdemli bir birey olması ile ilgilidir. Ancak bu sayede mutlu olunabilir der. Aurelius’ın eserinde Stoacı filozof Epiktetos’un bireyin kendini eğitmesi ile ilgili düşüncelerinden ilham aldığı da açıktır. Epiktetos, arzu edilen ve nefret edilen şeyler, eyleme geçip geçmeme ve aldanmaktan kaçınma konusunda kişinin kendisiyle savaşması ve eğitmesi gerektiğini söylemektedir. 

Aurelius ise eserinde;

‘’Hayal gücünü yok et, dürtülerini dizginle, arzularına hakim ol. Seni yöneten zihnini efendi kıl...’’ der.

I drew Honey and Nova on a collab! :D Nova's wearing an outfit representing her father Shadow, her friend Osiron, and a cosmog (plus fake wings). Honey's wearing an outfit based on a yamper and a cosmog!

With the release of the Megamind 2 trailer, I couldn't help but remember when I was little I had made a story as if it were a sequel to Megamind, at that time Dreamworks series were still being released on Nick, and with that, and with they gave me a DVD of Megamind, I started thinking about what it would be like and this is what came out ☝ I was guided by a theory (or I don't know what to call it) that said in the Dreamworks franchises there is at least one movie where the main characters meets more of their species, like in Madagascar 2, Kung Fu Panda 3, Shrek 3, etc.

And that, it occurred to me, what if Megamind was the last one to be saved and before he some more were saved

And this is one of them: 💙 Star fell to Earth as Megamind but in a forest, and thanks to her mind capable of creating anything, the company of her pet Atina and some humans who were passing by, she achieved survive. She has blue eyes, her characteristic color is violet (although I haven't completely decided yet) and Atina, her pet cat, is pink 😺

I remember I did a lot at the time, in fact 3 more fell to Earth, but I never drew them, maybe I tried to draw them now, the only thing I can tell you now is how they lived:

💚 One of them (a boy) fell into a town in a savanna or jungle (I can't decide) where there were wild animals, he was inspired by the abilities of these creatures and created tools to help the people of that town. His characteristic color is green, I'm thinking about giving him yellow eyes but I don't know yet 🦎

💗 Another (a girl) fell into the ocean and was rescued by a sailor, who raised her as if she were his daughter. Currently, she continues with her father's job and is in a relationship with another sailor. Her eyes are pink 🐦

❤ Finally we have one (a boy) who fell into a government laboratory, yes, he was the one who had the worst time, he was even left without a pet. His eyes are red

All with their pets, their logos and their colors, although, of course, I still need to define several things, I made this story when I was very little, and it has strange or unexplained things, I found a "script", which I made at the time, but I don't know if I'll post it, it's very poorly written ^^;

And well, I think I'm going to try to post a couple of things related to this, since I'm older I would like to see if I can complete the story at least a little ^^

Bir kere tadına varana kadar farklı ülkeleri gezmeye dair yoğun bir isteğim yoktu. Önce vizesiz bir ülkeye gittim tek başına. Dış hatlara doğru yürürken, uçağı beklerken, uçaktan inerken, daha şehri görmemişken bile öyle tatlı bir heyecan kapladı ki içimi! Fırsatım oldukça gezme fikri o zaman sıcak gelmeye başlamıştı. Bu deneyimi aynı zamanda “denemeden sevip sevmediğine karar verme” olarak da okudum.

İkinci deneyimim Yunanistan’la oldu. Her gün 20bin küsür atmanın, ama hiç yorulmuş hissetmemenin tadı çok güzeldi.
