I don’t understand this very much but I want to share with Taylor where I will be tonight!! We travelled 13 hours from Florida to be here for the last 2 shows. I was barely at barricade last night because of shoving, it was expected. My video didn’t even show Taylor grabbing my hand or smiling at me because I got knocked down when holding her hand. I’m going to barricade again and will be ready for a better video!! I will be in section J, row 13, seats 21-22. I made my “costume” for NOLA and my boyfriend was the other half with his shirt saying “She once was poison ivy but now she’s my daisy”. He had a motocross race this weekend and was unable to attend Arlington/Dallas. This is also my friend Hope’s first Taylor show ever and she got 2 for one!!! Ahead of Sunday’s big playoff game, we’re connecting with a few UTA alumni who work for America’s Team, the Dallas Cowboys!

Today, we chat with Shaunda Poster ‘13. Shaunda is now in her 5th season working for the Dallas Cowboys. She serves as the Cowboys Vision TV Studio Host. 

Q: What’s it like to work for the Dallas Cowboys?

A: It’s a dream come true! I was born and raised a Cowboys fan, so it’s amazing to be part of the family and the game entertainment team.

Q: How did UTA prepare you for your current position? Did UTA help you land this job?

A: UTA played a critical role in preparing me for my position with the Cowboys through the outstanding broadcasting program. I felt prepared to be in front of the camera and this is where I received my internship opportunity.

 Q: At what point in the season did you realize it was going to be a special year for the Cowboys?

A: Almost right off the bat, the Dak + Zeke combo continued to get stronger with each week. With that growth came a lot of wins and more comfort on the field. When players returned from the bench, the options were tremendous.

 Q: What is one fact about AT&T Stadium that most people don’t know?

A: Inside you can find water features, a top notch art collection, celebrity chefs, and the world’s largest pro shop!

 Q: Have you always dreamed of a job in professional sports?

A: After I found my calling during my time in school… 100%!! Working in professional sports and for a team you love is so rewarding!

A fantastic, air-conditioned venue waits the teams tonight.

     War Eagle, everybody, and happy Labor Day weekend! College football is back today, in full swing. This evening, the Auburn Tigers will take on the Oregon Ducks in Arlington, Texas. This is the biggest national game of the weekend, in an early top 20 non-conference showdown.

     This game will kick off around 6:30 PM, Central Time. It’s an afternoon kick for Duck fans on the West Coast. The game will be televised on ABC television, nationally. Weather should not be an issue in the closed, air-conditioned AT&TStadium, although the walk to the stadium from the parking area will be hot and humid, around 90 degrees near kickoff. There is a chance of a stray thunderstorm, but only a small chance.

     This game should have national appeal, as folks tune in to see if the SEC will continue its winning ways against the rest of the country. The SEC has won 9 of the past 13 national championships, and the SEC has won over 60 percent of its bowl games during that span. This game is a great chance for both Oregon and Auburn to garner national attention.

     As always, feel free to join in and enjoy this thread. I will at the keyboard for my usual play by play, armed with a cool beverage and a bowl BBQ potato chips. War Eagle, and let’s see if Auburn begin a memorable season against a tough out of conference opponent. War Eagle!
