At this rate I think anytime Athena travels anywhere they should just have emergency services on standby. Like forget worrying about storm clouds on the horizon. The moment you spot Athena in your general vicinity it’s time to high tail it out of there.
#to be fair she’s also pretty good at saving those in danger with her#but if my choices are an average day or a day where I’m horribly traumatized and survive I’m going to go with a normal day#although I do also love Athena so maybe it’s worth the risk????#Athena grant#not an incorrect quote#911 abc#911 spoilers#next season we stick her on a high speed train#although 911 lonestars opening incident was a train crash so that’s unlikely#maybe she’s on a subway and an earthquake hits????#NO WAIT WE PUT HER ON THE FUCKING SPACE STATION#ASTRONAUT ATHENA TO THE RESCUE

Okay! I need to get this out of my head. I’ve seen some posts that are upset that people are upset about the BuckTommy break up. The core gripe of these posts is that the show still has HenKaren and so we shouldn’t be upset about the handling of the other main queer couple. Which makes no sense because BuckTommy and HenKaren fulfill different niches. One is a bisexual man exploring a new relationship and the other is two gay women who are settled with multiple kids.
However, this post is to talk about HenKaren. Yes I love them! They were the main thing that drew me to the show long before bi Buck became a thing. They are two black women in a relationship. Neither is ‘conventionally’ attractive. Hen is pretty visually queer. I love them. I want more of them in the show. However I don’t relate to them. Almost all of their storylines revolve around motherhood. There is very limited exploration of them as queer women outside of motherhood. Karen is a literal rocket scientist and that has never even been used as any sort of plot point. Like the amount of physics she knows and understands could be used to great effect. Micheal got to help break into a bank vault with Bobby, but Karen has never been used in a similar way. Like the amount of STEM knowledge stored in her brain 100% could have solved at least a few rescues. Can we explore these amazing woman as queer women instead of mothers just sometimes pls.
I read a fanfic that explored how Don’t ask, Don’t tell could have affected Karen. That she couldn’t become an astronaut because of it. I would love more of that energy in the show.
So yes you are right I am bemoaning the way Buck and Tommy’s break up was handled. I am bemoaning the lack of care given to exploring Buck’s bisexuality within monogamy. I am allowed to be upset. I am allowed to not relate to the storylines given to Hen and Karen. What happened to Hen being kinda witchy and blaming the moon cycle for her cheating? What happened to Hen and Karen and Athena’s wine mom nights? Where is our exploration of Karen as partner to a woman in a dangerous field of work? Where is our exploration of their relationship outside of kids?
You want me to appreciate the crumbs of queer representation being tossed my way? Well won’t you’re right we should be angry that Hen and Karen are treated as second class citizens in the narrative. We should be upset that their importance has been reduced to only motherhood. We should be upset that this show is mishandling all of its queer characters and letting Eddie Diaz have freedom and joy while our queer representation suffers.
BuckTommy was the straw that broke the camels trust in 911 ability to craft realistic queer lives and continue to care about them more than a diversity check mark. I will continue to watch HenKaren clips on YouTube and read fan-fiction. I will continue to engage with Bi Buck fan-fiction that heals the parts of me that Glee and this show have bruised. I will not thank them for the stale crumbs they brush from the table. Do I love Hen and Karen? Yes! Is it enough? Not anymore!
Anyway, I got a little heated and upset, but all this discourse is really just rubbing me the wrong way. Let people be upset and hurt. Their feelings are valid whether you agree.

6x06 Tomorrow
This was an amazing episode. It was sort of a Henren Begins and I loved seeing how they met and became the family we know and love. I love it was Chim setting them up. Their second date was hot. Chim rooting for them was super cute and so Chim. Baby Denny was adorable. As is the grown up one.
In present time, the rescue was a little hard to follow but I appreciated how it was done. The drama was well set up and didn’t feel overdone. Karen was awesome and reminded me a little of Buck. I think I would enjoy more scenes with them. (I HC Karen and Eddie as wine besties, though). I liked those little moments showing Hen and Athena’s friendship.
I am so glad Karen is OK and Hen is staying with the firefam. The whole idea of dreams changing was very well done. I liked the parallels or full circle of Karen moving from her dream of being an astronaut when Denny came to them and Hen moving on from her dream of medical school when she realized she would be sacrificing a lot of her family. Clinging to a dream you once had makes little sense. People change, circumstances change, relationships change and dreams change too.
On a Buddie note, I liked how the one not work related moment they had was Eddie reassuring Buck about Karen’s health. It could have been any one of them. But coming from Eddie, it hits different. For Buck. For Eddie. For us. For them.

Get to Know my MC & OC
I was tagged by @jovialyouthmusic @texaskitten30 and @dcbbw, thank you ladies. So at first I was sure who to finish. I already had a few MC’s and OC’s started and then Athena popped in my head. I was half done with Athena’s when I decided to do Percy’s too. So two for one ladies! Under a cut since it’s long as fuck!
Athena May Morgan
How tall are they?
5’9”
How do they tend to dress?
She lives for comfort! She doesn’t mind getting dressed up but her go to looks are jeans (that may or may not be ripped), a cute top, and a pair of sneakers, light jacket or sweater if needed OR leggings and an oversized top, sweater or hoodie. If she’s trying to look cute in her leggings a nicer sweater and a pair of cute sweater boots.
Do they like how they look?
She doesn’t hate the way she looks but she also didn’t believe Percy when he told her how beautiful she was until he took candid photographs of her.
Are they an only child or do they have any siblings?
Only child, although her cousin Bailey is like her sister. Bailey’s parents died when Bailey was 12 and Athena was 5. Athena’s dad was Bailey’s mom’s brother so he took in Bailey. They grew up very close after that and Athena was super grateful for the support of Bailey when her parents died when she was a freshman in college.
Are they a morning person or night owl?
Girl likes to sleep in, especially if it means more cuddles with Percy.
Are they a cat person or a dog person?
Both!!! She grew up in a Brooklyn apartment and her parents didn’t think that was a good life for a dog, but she always wanted one. She did have two cats, Abbadon a pure black Persian and Zeus a tan Siamese. Both were failed showcats they rescued.
Got any favourite foods?
Chee-zee bread!!!! She loves it!!!
Peanut butter cups are always kept in the freezer.
Brownies!!!! The more chocolate the better!!!
How about favourite drinks?
Caramel milkshakes with extra caramel.
What are their favourite movies/tv shows?
Sappy Hallmark movies, she loves them. They can do the same plot every Christmas 10 different ways and she will still sit and watch every single one.
She also loves cop and hospital drama’s.
Do they have any hidden talents?
No.
Do they believe in love at first sight?
Shit she didn’t use to but when she looked back she realized she had butterflies in her stomach from the moment she met Percy. She had thought at the time that her stomach was in knots because of her situation with Liam, but it was Percy.
Who is their love interest?
Duke Perceval Lennon Hunter of Winchester (my insanely awesome OC)
What are they afraid of?
She used to be afraid that she’d never fall in love or be a mom, now she’s afraid of losing them.
Spiders, creepy little fuckers!
Falling, she doesn’t mind heights, but she is very afraid of falling.
What are their guilty pleasures?
Candy, she has it stashed around the estate and she knows when it’s been touched by someone else.
What was their dream job as a kid? Is it still their dream?
She was kinda all over the place, teacher, scientist, astronaut, marine biologist. She never really had one thing she wanted to be. Oddly enough she never wanted to be a princess and yet she vied for the hand of a prince/king.
Have they ever broken a bone?
Nope
Have they ever been in trouble with the law?
Nope
+ three other random facts about them!
girl loves to bake!
she learned to knit when she was pregnant with their first, she knitted the outfits for their newborn photos.
She would never tell Bailey, but she still finds it really weird that Liam started dating her cousin. Percy just tells her it shows that it wasn’t love for him either since he could move on so quickly.
Perceval Lennon Hunter
How tall are they?
6’1”
How do they tend to dress?
He is known as the most down to earth duke, he prefers jeans and sweater or tee, sneakers or work boots. He dresses up when he has to and looks damn good but he likes to be comfortable.
Do they like how they look?
He can’t complain, the years have been good to him. He wouldn’t mind less grey, but Athena likes it so he leaves it be. He does tease her she fell in love with an old man and she just smiles and gives him a kiss.
Are they an only child or do they have any siblings?
Only child
Are they a morning person or night owl?
When he spent a lot of time with Leo or Alex he didn’t mind staying out all night. Now he’s thankful the only late nighters are at home when a baby wakes in the middle of the night. And yes he will let Athena sleep if he can. He used to be a fairly early riser, now he loves lazy mornings in.
Are they a cat person or a dog person?
Both, he actually loves all animals.
Got any favourite foods?
Greasy burgers, pasta, omelets
How about favourite drinks?
Scotch, strawberry milkshakes
What are their favourite movies/tv shows?
He loves period dramas and musicals. His mom loved watching the old musicals with him, his favorite is Carousel. He likes action or thrillers, but his favorite part of watching them is when Athena scooches closer cause she gets scared.
Do they have any hidden talents?
He can repair any Harley produced after 1935. Total overhaul of the engine? No sweat.
Do they believe in love at first sight?
He barely even believed in love. His father fucked up big time and cost Percy his mom, he knew he didn’t want to be like his father. He always looked for someone that he just clicked with and had stopped thinking it would happen long before he said hello to Athena on the royal train.
Who is their love interest?
Athena Morgan
What are they afraid of?
Failing those he loves. Watching the people that mean the most to him hurt, especially because of him.
What are their guilty pleasures?
He’s gonna sound sappy as fuck but he doesn’t give a shit, every cuddle or kiss from Athena or the kids. He loves staying in bed with her but if the baby wakes and she manages to sleep through it he will go sit in the nursery just talking to the child as he holds them cuddled to his chest. If the child falls back asleep he slips them back into their crib and goes back to cuddling Athena. If the baby is wide awake he will take them into the bed around the time Athena usually wakes. He doesn’t know that she’s heard him a few times on the monitor and falls back asleep with a goofy grin on her face.
What was their dream job as a kid? Is it still their dream?
He was the only child of a Duke, he knew there was only one job that would ever be his. But he’s not afraid to get his hands dirty and taught himself to fix his Harley and to cook.
Have they ever broken a bone?
Does it count if it wasn’t his? He once dared Alex to do a backflip off a tree branch when they were at boarding school. Alex almost stuck the landing. He lost his balance and broke his wrist trying to catch himself. Alex said it was epic and thought it was the funniest thing ever.
Have they ever been in trouble with the law?
Nothing that having diplomatic immunity couldn’t get him out of.
+ three other random facts about them!
He had a wild past and definitely partied, was not opposed to threesomes but he knew if he found the right person it would be only them.
Athena was the only person he ever said I love you to, and he hadn’t even meant to say it when he did. He was trying to calm her like he always did and it just slipped out. He was seriously scared that day but he would never tell her that. When she said she might be pregnant his biggest fear was that it was his and she wouldn’t choose him.
With the amount of trouble he and Alex caused at boarding school he was lucky he didn’t get expelled.

Imagine if... Pokemon AU.
a.k.a. I put way too much thought into this today.
Luke only ever has just the one Pokemon, a true runt of a Rattata named Toppy. Toppy has shiny green fur, making him different from the other, purple Rattata who live in Misthallery, and was such a good friend of Luke's he decided to stay with him when the boy moved to London with his family. Years later, with Toppy's assistance, Luke becomes a Pokemon nurse, and is well-known for bringing his work home with him.
(The nicknames of the shelter workers are naturally very different without the animals they came from: Reindeer becomes Sawsbuck, Fox becomes Vulpix, Duck is Ducklett, Simba is Shinx, Bee is Beedrill, etc.)
One of the few things recovered from the destroyed palace in Khura'in was a Pokeball belonging to Jove Justice, a Politoed named Theia who would provide back-up vocals on stage. Apollo inherits her at Dhurke's insistence, but, twenty years later, she is quite old and spends most of her time sleeping in her ball. After the death of her initial trainer, she is highly protective of Jove's offspring, even if the tables have turned now she is aging.
When Trucy was very young, Thalassa gave her a gift of a Popplio named Orion, the offspring of her own Primarina Pontus. In preparation for her 'debut act', Zak has it learn Smokescreen to aid in his escape, and Trucy continues to use her Pokemon partner as an aid for her magic act.
Machi doesn't have a Pokemon growing up, so meeting the many non-human members of the Wright family is a true dream come true for him. Luke offers to get him one of his own from the shelter, but Machi is overwhelmed by the choices presented and turns Luke down, happy for now with the proximity to everyone else's.
Clay catches a Pidgey when he is young, and his Pidgeot is a close partner by the time he becomes an astronaut. After his death, his father isn't interested in taking on Clay's pet, so Apollo and Luke take it in instead.
Athena's Widget is powered by the Rotom living inside it, and it loves to make cheeky comments in the middle of all her conversations. Her only other Pokemon is one her mother had been idly researching before her death: a Cosmog recovered from the surrounding valley before it was decided the Pokemon couldn't contribute to their quest for space, though it was allowed to stay. Aura, much preferring her customisable robots over 'messy' living creatures, shoved it on Athena in their last meeting before the girl left the Space Center for good.
Similar to the Kimono Sisters of Johto (a secondary offshoot from Khura'in that stayed behind when Ami Fey moved on to America), a tradition of Kurain Village is that every heir to the Mastership receives an Eevee at the age of ten, which usually evolves into something else - a form chosen in unison by Eevee and trainer - by the time the young heir is twenty. Misty's, Elise, became an Espeon. Morgan's, Primrose, became an Umbreon. When Misty vanishes, Mia takes Elise in alongside her own Eevee, Davey, and both are passed on to Maya and Phoenix respectively by the time of her death. Maya names her Eevee Silky, but it doesn't evolve into a Sylveon until some time after Misty dies. Pearl similarly takes in Morgan's Umbreon after the latter's arrest. Despite Pearl technically being Branch Family, Maya insists her little cousin also be given an Eevee in the absence of any definite heirs from herself; Pearl names hers Sapphire, quickly evolving it into a Vaporeon.
Mia catches a Sunkern as a teenager, and Charley the Sunflora becomes her symbol during her career as a lawyer. When she dies, Charley is passed on to Phoenix and lives almost exclusively in the office.
Phoenix dreams of being a trainer or at least a Pokemon carer when he is very young. His first catch is only made with the help of his best friends, using a Pokeball from Miles and a fishing rod from Larry. Larry already has a Pokemon as a family hand-me-down, and Miles has a Lillipup named Pess he rescued from the streets, so the resulting Magikarp becomes Phoenix's. He names the fish Milar, a mash-up formed from the friends who helped catch it.
Larry's family Smeargle, Monet, is a constant companion throughout his life, seemingly highlighting how incongruous he is in his current environment at all times. It's still somehow a surprise to everyone when he eventually takes up being an artist as his serious profession.
Gregory Edgeworth, in addition to a well-known defence attorney, is also a Gym Leader of the region; Both are low-paying but important jobs he is happy to take on. His signature Pokemon is an Aegislash named Caliburn, but young Miles shows no interest in Pokemon battling, so Gregory never tries to involve him in work at the Gym. After Miles takes home an injured Lillipup, he seems to change his mind, reading up on how Pokemon thrive through physical training and battling. Gregory promises to teach him how to fight, gifting him a young Honedge the boy names Excalibur. Despite this, Miles never becomes a trainer, focussing on his law career after Gregory’s death.
Just as much of Gregory Edgeworth and Manfred von Karma's rivalry is formed from their abilities as trainers as their face-offs in court. Both specialise in steel-types, so when an opening comes up in the Elite 4 and popular opinion seems to be on accepting Gregory, it is that as much as the hit to his perfect prosecutor record that prompts Manfred to take his chance when he can. Regardless, in his flight from the country to heal from his bullet wound, he is forced to give up any shot at the Elite 4 position anyway.
Children have more independence in the Pokemon world, so it doesn't take much to prompt Phoenix and Larry in one place and Mia in another to leave home on a journey to find their missing friend and mother respectively. They run into each other soon enough, Phoenix and Larry struggling to hold out against the wild Pokemon with their useless Smeargle and Magikarp, and Mia takes enough pity on them that the trio team up. She lends her Eevee Davey to Phoenix, but the arrangement ends up becoming permanent, with Davey eventually evolving into a Jolteon under Phoenix's care. Not long after, Milar surprises everyone when he turns a gym battle around by evolving into a Gyarados mid-fight. Said gym battle is Phoenix's last, as he abandons his quest with only six badges on his belt. Larry quits with four.
(Furio Tigre is the proud owner of a golden shiny Arcanine. His orange shirt features a detailed drawing of a golden Arcanine subduing a blue Gyarados by the neck.)
Kurain Village was once the home of a ghost-type gym. When its final Gym Leader, Misty Fey, was publicly ridiculed and then disappeared, leaving all her Pokemon behind, the gym shut down and never re-opened. Gregory Edgeworth's gym was similarly closed for a time, leaving only six operating in the region for nearly a year, but eventually the steel-type gym was taken up by Gregory's apprentice Ray Shields. To take the gym count back up to eight, another gym was later opened to replace the ghost gym, of another type and in another town. Phoenix never even realises his six badges were enough to challenge the Elite 4 while on his journey, which took place in the year after Gregory's death and Misty's disappearance.
On the one year Phoenix and 'Dollie' celebrate Christmas as a couple, Dollie gifts her boyfriend a Pokemon inspired by his name, the only fire/flying-type she was able to procure: a Fletchling (yes it's actually normal/flying BUT IT WILL BE FIRE-TYPE WHEN IT EVOLVES). He is unsure what to call the female bird, so when Dollie nervously suggests Iris, he praises her on the brilliant idea and promptly gives the name to his new Fletchling. He doesn't realise until years later why 'Dollie' blushed so hard at his enthusiasm.
On the day 'Hershel' is adopted into the Layton family, his new Ma and Pa decide to help him settle in with a pet, and they end up choosing a Treecko. Wanting to remember the brother who gave up his own name for him, young Hershel names the Pokemon Theodore. Teddy the Grovyle is later a companion in Hershel's fencing classes, fighting with the blades on his wrists while the humans use rapiers. Randall, as part of his efforts to call Hershel into archaeology, gives him an 'L' Unown that Hershel only reluctantly accepts. It's actually a habit for Randall to give Unown to all his friends and loved ones, either bought or procured through his various secret excavations: Angela gets an 'A', and Henry an 'H', while Dalston gets a 'D'. Randall himself proudly boasts an 'R'.
Flora is left a Budew by her father upon his death, which later evolves into a Roselia. After leaving St Mystere, she acquires a Fennekin which evolves into a Braixen, and it helps her with her new cooking hobby.
Alfendi comes home from school one day with a funny rock he found on the ground, which turns out to be the keystone of a Spiritomb. It seems to take a liking to him though, and Alfendi likes it back, so Hershel and Flora let him keep it. It stays a constant companion his whole life, with even the incident at Forbodium Castle not fazing it; Hershel suspects this is because Spiritomb itself is said to be a conglomeration of 128 spirits, so Alfendi splitting into two personalities is something it can sympathise with.
Emmy prefers to rely more on her own physical ability than a Pokemon, but does have a sparring partner in a Tyrogue she rescued from the street as a girl, which evolves into a Hitmontop later in life. Sycamore/Descole similarly prefers to rely on his own wit and the ability of Raymond to support him - Even the pack of Mightyena he procured to aid in recovering Ambrosia were released once their role in his plan was over - but he cannot turn away the Purrloin Keats when it takes up residence in the Bostonius. Raymond wouldn’t let him, anyway.
Detectives and general officers of the Police Department tend to have Pokemon from the Magnemite and Growlithe lines, so there are many strange looks given to Gumshoe when he comes in one day with a Yungoos he has named Missile, trying to train it to sniff out things that are usually assigned to Arcanines.
In an effort to stave off her bad luck, Maggey obtains an Absol to warn her of upcoming bad events. Those who know her suspect the infamously unlucky Pokemon only makes her luck worse.
Franziska's partner Pokemon is a Ferrothorn that has no nickname, in the tradition of von Karma perfection. Every swing of her whip is followed by the vines of her partner.
Matt Engarde owns an Alolan Meowth named Shoe. After his arrest, Adrian takes the cat in instead, and forms a close enough bond with it that it evolves into a Persian not long after.
As a symbol of their partnership, Zak and Valant Gramarye were accompanied on stage by a Plusle (Zak's) and a Minun (Valant's). Pokemon are always confiscated upon arrest, and Zak makes no effort to recover his Plusle when he escapes, so it ends up going to Valant in his absence. When Valant quits magic seven years later, he brings the now-aging pair into retirement with him.
Magnus/Magnifi and his best friend Winfred Geary grew up in Unova together. Geary's partner was a Klink he found as a boy, which over the years eventually evolved into a Klinklang. Magnifi's was a Gothita, eventually a Gothitelle, who performed with him on stage until Gaelle/Gaia joined the group. She had no Pokemon of her own, but she quickly became the trainer and organiser of the various Pokemon 'assistants' the young troupe would hire as props for Magnifi's tricks. After Thalassa was born, it was Gaia who decided the baby should receive a Popplio to match her name, and it became Gaia's final gift to her daughter before her death.
When Thalassa and Jove first meet, part of what connects them is their mutual love of water-types, with Jove owning an unnamed Poliwag and Thalassa her Brionne, Pontus. It is Thalassa who helps persuade Jove to name his Poliwag Theia, shortly after convincing him to take on Hyperion Reylu as a stage-name, and she assists him in evolving his Poliwhirl into a Politoed after he hears how good the latter is at singing. After Apollo is born, they spend a lot of time musing on whether to give him a Poliwag or a Popplio when he is older; Ultimately, thanks to the incident in Khura'in, nothing comes of it.
Mr Reus has two Pokemon stage assistants, one an Incineroar and the other a Mandibuzz. Only Incineroar is in Manov Mistree's possession after his death, though Mandibuzz shows up in court with Roger Retinz.
Kristoph's pet dog Vongole is a Furfrou. When Kristoph is arrested, Vongole goes to Klavier, who nevertheless cares for it as his own. Klavier himself already owns a Dedenne, who assists the Gavinners by powering their equipment for concerts, and its appearance in promotional pictures only makes him more appealing to their fans. Daryan similarly poses menacingly with his Garchomp in promotions, only furthering his 'shark-like' image.
Guy Eldoon owns a Slakoth, Spoon, who spends all day every day sleeping outside Eldoon's house, waking only to lazily slurp up the broth given to it. It's the only customer of Eldoon's Noodles who doesn't complain about the salt.
The lone Pokemon in the Misham house is a Sudowoodo of Drew's. Many of Vera’s original drawings feature it, to the point that a Sudowoodo is 'Drew' Misham's signature Pokemon. After Drew's death, it is passed on to Vera, and she ultimately pushes herself to go out and draw every Pokemon she can in real life as part of her quest to leave her forging days behind her.
Sebastian Debeste owns a Shroomish. This was another source of conflict between him and his father Blaise, who was a lover of fire-types.
Kay Faraday was given a Salandit as a little girl, the original bearer of the name Little Thief. Her father Byrne owned a Greninja, which was passed on to her after his death, and, once grown, Kay uses both her father's Greninja and her own Salazzle in her exploits, to Edgeworth's displeasure.
Juniper Woods has a whole team of Pokemon composed entirely of fruit-themed grass-types like Bounsweet, Tropius and Cherubi. Her friend Hugh O'Connor has only the one, a Decidueye who he practices his archery with. Robin Newman has a pair, one a female Machoke named Alex, and the other a male Gardevoir named Sam (the latter is never out of his Pokeball in public until after Robin comes out as a girl). Myriam Scuttlebutt, in contrast, doesn't own any Pokemon - at the behest of her parents - and this fuels her jealousy of the trio's friendship.
Simon Blackquill's bird Taka is a stubborn Staraptor who 'adopted' him after his conviction. After everything he'd given up for Metis and Athena, he was happy for the company (if incapable of working out the bird's gender with his limited resources), and, although Taka always flew off through the barred window before the guards could try to chase her away, she has never failed to return when he needed a friend.
Bobby Fulbright was a proud typical detective and owner of a Magneton. His Pokemon was stolen upon his death, and the Phantom's own Ditto took on its form as part of their disguise. The Magneton was only recovered after the Phantom's capture, and returned to Fulbright's family, traumatised from being a prisoner for so long.
Nine Tails/Ninetales Vale has a very different origin story: A Ninetales is said to have protected the people from the rampaging Terrakion, who it sealed away in the mountain long ago. The mayor, by tradition, runs the local fire-type Gym and uses the town's signature Ninetales as the lead (fuelling rumours the masked Ninetales-themed wrestler is him). Similarly, the town's neighbour is called Terra Town, the home of a rival fighting-type gym, and its mayor is Damian Terra. His daughter Jinxie is terrified mainly of ghost-type Pokemon, especially with the stories of Litwick roaming the town possessing people and objects as the servants of Terrakion. Machi happens across one of these wild Litwick after Rex Kyubi's murder, and later convinces his friend Jinxie to take it in and overcome her fear.
Dhurke's signature Pokemon is a Dragonair, to the point he bases the symbol of his entire revolution on its image. The sight of Phoenix's similar-looking Gyarados makes him simultaneously more hated by the country and more favoured by the resistance thanks to this. After Dhurke's arrest, Nahyuta takes custody of the Dragonair, but, when Dhurke is confirmed to be dead, he takes it as his inheritance, leading the revolution in his father's stead.
Uendo Toneido performs on stage with an unusual partner: a Castform that can transform without the aid of the weather. Its form always matches whichever personality is in control, with Sunny for Patches, Rain for Kisegawa, Hail for Uendo, and finally the Normal form for Owen.
