At first, I didn’t like the painting that was chosen to represent younger Armand, because I thought the young man in the painting looked nothing like Assad. There have been some pictures circulating in the fandom where Assad was compared to other paintings, like Botticelli’s Saint Sebastian and that Giuliano de Medici guy, and they were better fit. But then I saw this photo of Assad, and went: “Oh, okay. I see it now”.
