so idk if this answer is long enough for headcanons so ima just answer it here babe

so, five understands this first and foremost, and he does not like to see his darling numb, or feeling any sort of negative emotion. he saved the world for a reason; he doesn't want that loneliness and desperation to take over the one thing he actually cares about.

assuming that this is before he kidnapped his darling (considering there is no way in hell his darling will be feeling stressed under his watchful eye) he will simply remove the stressor.

I feel he would be awkward in that way anyone would be awkward being flirted with. I feel yes he is a gay man and can note if a man is handsome but whether he is too autistic or ace coded I feel he only gets flustered with men he has a strong bond with.

Kristoff sighed. He needed some supplies, but he was miles from anywhere. He would have to visit Oaken’s trading post.  

The bell rang as he stepped inside.  

“Hoo-hoo!” the man behind the counter bellowed. “Finally spring, eh?”

Kristoff shrugged. Even if he was going to be spending more, he would at least avoid small talk. He grabbed what he needed, and returned to the counter. 

“That will be fifteen,” Oaken said cheerfully.

“Can you make it ten?” Kristoff asked.

“No, sorry.”

“What about some ice?” 

Oaken looked outside. “Fine, give me a large block of ice, you can pay ten.”

“Um…” Anna hemmed.

All day every day all he wants to do is tell me about trolls and draw brozone and I got really into trolls by osmosis ESPECIALLY since I went to see trolls three just for him so anyway PLEASE tell me about trolls because I have never wanted to hug branch harder than I did in trolls three. He built the hideout

I feel like you maybe got cut off a bit, but that's okay, cause I think I know what you were gonna say, and yeah, breaks my heart too.

Gonna put this under a read more, cause it's gonna be a lot.

First things first, one of my absolute favorite things about this series is how the world looks. And I don't just mean in terms of it being a fantasy world, I mean how things literally look like felt and stuff. Someone described it as looking like an 'arts & craft' project and I agree. Heck, I am in love with the orbeez water from this last movie. What a fun touch.

On a similar note, love the character designs. Very wild and versatile, willing to do fun and funky things and break the mold. Especially with the trolls! While World Tour gave us different races of trolls, with different looks and anesthetics, Bqnd Together showed us that even trolls of the same race can look really versatile, and I love that. My favorite species design, though, has to be the vacationers. I love the holiday muppets.

Also, in terms of versatile designs. I have to mention how refreshing it is that I was able to predict that Bruce was gonna be fat as an adult, after all of the emphasis placed on his abs originally, but that his gaining weight is never brought up, not even as an insult. None of his brothers ever give him crud about it, and Poppy even still sees him as the heartthrob, even with his chunky dad bod. That's some positivity right there.

Poppy and Branch!! I can not say enough about how much I love their relationship!! They are genuinely really cute and also really healthy. I was so happy that they didn't pull the same crud so many other studios do and shoe horn in some random and unnecessary relationship drama in this film, especially after Branch's subplot in the last movie was about their relationship. They're solid in this film. The only time they have conflict is about Branch not being super open (and even then it's not a huge issue and Poppy is clearly understanding that he's not fully ready yet and is even willing to make a joke about it when he is) and Poppy's lack of understanding of the complexities of sibling relationships. Other than those two minor conflicts, they are solid. She can tell right away at the beginning that something is wrong and bothering him, he is able to manage and bring her back when she starts getting too excited and worked up, and over all they just work to better each other. Heck, even uber positive, everyone needs to be friends with everyone, Poppy stands by his side when he chooses to abandon John, Bruce, and Clay, not trying to convince him to go back and forgive and give them a second chance. She's gonna stand by him. We love a solid relationship. And I personally love that they didn't get married or even actually propose in this one, despite the teases. It's really good for kids to see representation of a healthy relationship where they don't jump into marriage and instead take their time.

Poppy's relationship with both Viva and Bridgette. The fact that even after discovering she has a literal sister in Viva, she stills considers and calls Bridgette a sister. We love girl friendship. Especially when Bridgette finds out Viva is Poppy's sister, deciding that automatically makes them besties too. We love it.

I love that, other than the very mild road block of trying to keep them at Putt Putt, Viva isn't a villain. She's deeply traumatized, but not evil. She and Poppy really do genuinely get along and love each other, and I love that so much.

And while I mention a good Sibling relationship, I must also mention the more complicated by expressing my appreciation that, despite them being shown being closwer, Branch doesn't automatically jump to help when he finds out Floyd is in trouble. While he admits to Poppy, after some pushing, that of all the brothers, Floyd would be the one he would help, this is still hesitant, and I think appropriate. Floyd still left him and never came back. The only one who ever mentions coming back is John Dory (having come back too late, after the trolls had escaped the tree). So it makes sense that, despite them being closer, Branch would still hold that resentment towards Floyd and be hesitant to help even him.

Also, I have to mention something: the way that John and Branch are weird parallels. They're the most similar, in being isolated survivalist. John is the oldest who's treatment drove everyone away. Branch is the youngest who thought his performance drove everyone away. It's so sad and poetic, I love it.

Last thing I will note for now is how much I love the trolls series for its female villains. Barb wasn't really a villain in the end and had a redeemable reason for doing what she did, but Chef and Velvet both were unapologetically selfish and awful for completely their own gain. I love that for them.

Ok this MAY be covered in chapter so feel free to withhold but with Din re: clothes and armor when transforming. There are 3 (all valid) ways like 1. He takes off his clothes before he turns 2. His clothes rip (beskar just falls off since i guess it wouldn’t break?) or 3. ✨magic✨ ie we are already imagining something out of the box so it’s not that crazy that clothes would magically not be an issue transforming from form to form. I don’t think I have a preference for any of them either like all of them bring about fun scenarios

it will be alluded to in the next chapter, but here's the gist: (putting below a cut in case you don't want to know in advance)

okay so

firstly, keeping his beskar on prevents him from changing. it's why in the first chapter, he's sleeping in full armor

When he emerges, toweling himself dry, he can’t bring himself to put his armor back on right away—even his soft underlay or his flight suit. He looks at the pile, knowing he needs to put it all on anyway, and he balks. It’s so rare that he spends any time without it anymore. It’s not safe without it. He’s not safe without it. Being trapped in a beskar prison when his body is aching to change is more painful than anything he’s ever felt before—but it works. 

it took him time to figure that out, but now he knows and he uses it as a way to keep himself in control

the first time he EVER changed (described in the first part of chapter 3), he'd stripped off all his clothes but his boxers

and every time after (intentionally or not), he takes off the armor first:

So, once a week, he sheds his armor and changes.

side note: this is why it's significant when he sort of...short-circuits after he tastes the reader in chapter 3. he's wearing his armor, so he shouldn't be able to change, but he struggles not to

in terms of clothing:

din is 6'4" in regular form in like a moth to the flame (because i have a size kink and he is my barbie to play with, don't worry about it), and when he changes, he's around 7ft tall, maybe a little over, measure with your pussy heart, etc.

which means, he's about 10% to 15% larger in height and probably more like 15% to 20% larger in bulk/muscle overall--but most significantly in the shoulders/chest (see: pedro's natural dorito shape), which means the top half of his flight suit doesn't stand a chance (not to mention...wings)

the pants, on the other hand, which are canonically not very tight on him (see: pedro's bird hips), are a little better off. and since he's figured things out a little bit by now (he definitely hulked out of some things the first few times) and he doesn't want to be running around naked (even if we might enjoy that), he's sized up in flight suits to accommodate his juicy monster ass

that means when he lets himself change, he pulls off the beskar, unzips the chest part of his flight suit, ties the arms around his waist, and hopes to god that he doesn't bust out of the pants, which has been working (though they're obviously tight and flooding a bit when he's changed)

i mentioned it once in passing in the last chapter, so i totally get why it isn't clear yet:

Would you put it together? Would you recognize the unzipped flightsuit tied loosely at his waist?

How do I feel about my current wip? Well, I've got about 6 lol but I love them all. I just need time to sit down and write them. Life is just so hectic right now that I'm fried by the end of the night. Wellllll. I know personally lol. They’re both gonna take it really badly, but we’ll really only know how Trini is handling it due to being in her mind and not Kim’s. All we know is how we see Kim. What she lets show.

Buuuut let’s be real. Kim is gonna take it harder. I can’t say what her real feelings about everything are, but she’ll take it harder. Her world is kinda yanked out from under her. She doesn’t trust anyone, she doesn’t get close to anyone. She was starting to be really sweet to Trini. And then BOOM. Oh, Trini’s been keeping things from her? Okay well. Time to act Kim about it!

I can’t say too much more without giving away her reaction in the next chapter.

And neither will Trini. At all. She was obviously falling for Kim. And yeah…it’s just gonna be a giant mess all around.

3. What’s something you learned about yourself as a writer?

Hmm, mostly I think I learned I CAN have more than one fic really in progress at a time, especially of the longfic style. I was reluctant to start anything else longer than a oneshot for a long time because I worried it would keep me from finishing Lunacy, and while that really did slow down when I started on other stuff it was also because I needed to take my time on the finale of it. Having something much more seat of the pants like Missing as a semi-long fic to work on really helped.

I also learned that I cannot, under any circumstances, spell unconscious (or consciousness or anything like that) correctly the first try. I always forget the first s. I have made this error approximately 3 million times this year and anticipate making it another 3 millions times next year.

10. What fic made you feel the happiest to work on?

Oooh, this is a tough one partly because of measuring a quick burst of creative energy, something that was done in an hour or two, or something that I crafted for a lot longer. I think I'll go for peak happiness with the least misery of fighting through any kind of blocks, and for that I'll go with Five Times Assassination Attempts were made on the Traitor Elven Oracle without a Death, and One Time with. This one took me a few hours, and was a complete delight to write - when I proposed the idea in the fic discord the rest of the group took the core idea and ran with it in a very different much more serious direction (which Tangerine has started writing here ) but I always had this almost purely comedic piece in mind for it.

28. How did you recharge between fics?

Reading fics counts, right? Also in the D20 space, something I spent a lot of time doing (mostly with people not actually involved in the fandom otherwise!) was getting together with different friends and watching some series together over discord voice chat. It's kind of a great way to do a rewatch; having someone else there means I focus more than I tend to when I'm alone, and it's a great deal of fun to see the various series freshly through others' eyes!

In terms of other hobbies, I play chess poorly and Slay the Spire a whole bunch and other games middling amounts.

We had an amazing fun couple weeks ago when I drove to visit him. It was full of fun and intense play for us. I always love the time I get to spend with him.

ok, so assuming that his girlfriend is the one in yellow, he will absolutely just shake his head and take her home. like, he knows klaus is a terrible influence on his innocent baby and that will just not fly for him, so klaus will be grounded from seeing his girlfriend for a long time.

if the girlfriend is the one in red, he's just going to be more appalled since he thinks that klaus is teaching her swear words and again that will not fly. he will not be pleased and klaus will be grounded for even longer.

Rewatched Season 3 Episode 6 last night (why do I do this to myself), and I started wondering. Do you think Cobert's marriage would have survived Sybil's death? Their reconciliation was based on a partial lie. I keep thinking Cora would have forgiven Robert eventually, but it would probably take a VERY long time. Would like to know your thoughts 😊

I will keep this rather brief, because you have just inspired a new drabble/ one-shot with this question lol

But: Essentially, I think they would make it even without this intervention and the lie told by Dr Clarkson. It would be incredibly hard on everyone involved, it would be very painful. And it would take a lot to fix, but I like to think they would still make it out of this together.

I don't think Cora would have gone to America and stayed with Martha for a while like Violet suggested to Robert when he told her of their marriage struggles. That would have been too far away, Cora wouldn't leave her family like that in the midst of their grief. I also do not think she could have had the heart to leave Tom and especially Sybbie behind for so long and she never would have turned her back on everything just so. She simply loves her family, especially her daughters, too much. However, I think that Robert might have decided to indirectly take Violet's advice; he would try to give her space and it would absolutely wreck him, but he loves Cora, as well know. And she loves him. She would forgive him, eventually, after lots of angst and hurt for everyone involved, of course.
