Another they did it quick but at least they got it done
Catra from She-ra and The Princesses of Power
Was it rushed in the last season, yes, but we see changes in her behaviour, her apologizing without excusing her past shitty behaviour
Meanwhile Bakugou and Endeavor have had multiple seasons to get better. And they certainly talk a lot, the other characters certainly talk a lot about how much they've improved/ how amazing they are
But the second you analysis their behaviour they suck! They haven't changed they are just getting treated differently, mostly at their command
Bonus points, Catra had a long list of issues and problems leading to her shit behaviour. Here's a simplified list: she was abused, her best friend (and crush) chose strangers over her, because of preexisting and very obvious issues with the Hoard, the people she looks up to constantly pick other people over her, she doesn't believe she can be loved so she doesn't take it seriously when she is, lost cost fallacy, etc
Bakugou and Endeavor, they weren't worshipped enough. That was the fucking reason, for their years of abusing others, they weren't worshipped enough. "Redemption/ atonement" my ass
Bakugo and Endeavor's character arc and how other characters react to them, has always been all over the place.
No one on the hero side ever being super critical of them, despite the fact that there's a lot wrong that's going on with them.
Bakugo's main issue started with: 'Everyone praises him, resulting in a superiority complex.'
That negative quality doesn't have to be so unlikable by itself, but the real problem started when little izuku tried to help him as a child and he took it as some world shaking personal slight.
As if the very common and friendly gesture of extending a hand as a sign of concern after someone falls down, was a giant middle finger to Bakugo.
It's very petty but he's a little kid at the time so he's gets a little leeway.
But he never really grew out of that mindset until much later in the series, when it should have been obvious that izuku never looked down on Bakugo in the first place.
"He's looking down on me!!" is an entirely baseless delusion that came from a simple act of compassion, that had Bakugo steaming and blowing up at izuku for years.
It would be kind of silly if it wasn't played like a big dramatic conflict.
Endeavor's kind of the same way, only with worse justification.
Endeavor lost his father at a young(ish) age and that 'presumably' gave him trauma that compelled him to reach power that would lead him to the top, to overcome weakness.
But when you look at the results of that path and what Endeavor kept doing after he saw the results of that path, it becomes clear that his motivations were entirely selfish.
For his own sake and not for others.
The absolute point of that proof is when touya 'died' as a child, as a direct result of the fire Endeavor lit within him and his absence as a father when touya needed him.
Touya's death should have been the end of Endeavor's ambitions, that was where his atonement should have started, if he really felt remorse at killing his own child through neglect.
Only after Endeavor got what he wanted, the number 1 title, did he start feeling regret.
The timeline makes any sentiment of atonement feel hollow, because it always comes far too late for it to matter.

booie🥺i'm sorry if this is random and u don't have time for it, no worries!!! but y'know what i'm always thinking abt???
your fic, "in every lifetime" GOD, IT'S ONE OF MY FAVORITES EVER, but i've always been on the edge of my seat when it comes to villain bakugo showing up at the end. did you have any thoughts on what his life is like with you in another reality? I'VE ALWAYS WONDERED IF YOU HAVE BABIES WITH HIM TOO??? and if it's hard bc he's a villain
(i've always imagined that seeing you in another reality makes villain bakugo wanna get better for u and his daughter in his own reality, bUT THAT'S JUST ME!!) what are your thoughts??? only if you want to explore, ofc!! 🩵🩵🩵
i love u berry much in general!
CAITIEEEE MY BELOVED :D 💜💜
omg thank you so much!!!!! I always beat myself up over that fic bc I was literally like 85% done with it when I thought about villain bakugou and was like. ITS TOO LATE TO TURN BACK NOW cause that would’ve added another 3-5k words aksjdkd
but I’ve never thought about his life with you much???? but I do believe that once he comes in and gets acclimated with the others, he becomes the odd one out, instead of your Katsuki even tho you guys don’t even have kids yet!!!!
but it’s bc villain bkg does have a daughter (just one which already earns him a few scoffs) but he doesn’t….have her as much as the others do. his entire life isn’t revolved around her, he doesn’t take her hunting or show her how the world works. he doesn’t smother you in affection back home (mainly bc you won’t let him anymore) and he just becomes so isolated from the others in that sense.
but when he goes back home to his own universe, he’s a little different. he was hesitant to see his daughter often, didn’t want her to look at him in disgust and horror when he picks her up with his bionic arm, even tho the cold metal is all she’s ever known from him. he’s scared that she’ll be scared of him, that she’ll recognize his destruction on the news when she looks at him for too long. that she’ll run away in terror if he were to smile at her.
he comes over to your house the night he returns. asks if he can see her, even though its past midnight, but you let him in anyway. watch how he stands at her doorway, the soft kiss he presses to her forehead. he sits on your couch in silence for the longest moment before he speaks, his voice quiet, whispering that he wants to be there. that he wants to do better and be better. that he can’t be both a shit person and a shit father.
you give him the benefit of the doubt, but you do start to see improvements in him. he drops off her favorite snacks more, and takes her to secluded parks where he won’t be recognized. he buys her too much ice cream, but it’s only a weak apology for not being there for her beforehand. he doesn’t cause as much destruction in the city anymore, too preoccupied with showing up to parent teacher conferences, ready to cuss out her teacher for giving his baby a 92 instead of the 100 she deserved.
I think bc of his competitive nature, and especially the way the other Bakugou’s damn near cussed him out for being an absent parent and how he must be a defective version of them because none of them are this shitty—that he changes, just a little. it’s not drastic and it’s not overnight, but he realizes that he has to be better. if not for himself, than for his daughter and maybe—maybe a little bit for you too.

Despite how stressful the last few weeks had been, Katsuki was feeling pretty good. He had finally been able to ditch Deku, going back to his normal work schedule and finally deemed fit enough to work on his own. The city was currently experiencing a dip in criminal activity as well, due to a large gang finally having been taken down and no one having stepped up into the space yet. Normally this would have pissed Katsuki off, left him on edge and looking for an outlet for all his excess energy but he had decided to use the time to better improve his image, Y/Ns in depth knowledge of the people she helped making him feel slightly inadequate. So he was using the time to get to know the people on his patrol routes and though he still had little patience for the gossip and people constantly jabbering on he had managed to build up some form of rapport with a lot of the business owners and their regular customers, even if it was only just a few grunted words or a nod in greeting.
People had stopped bringing up his scars as well, seemingly having gotten used to them now and just accepting them as part of his image. Sure he still got the occasional fan who would stare at them but he had managed to stop either shutting down or getting angry about it, instead just gruffly directing their attention elsewhere. It had taken a lot of therapy and a few outbursts that had left him feeling shaken and exposed but he was getting there. His visits to his shrink had even gone down from being weekly to every other week so he knew that something was working. He was sleeping better, having less nightmares and actually sleeping through till morning most nights and he had even been able to shove his sleeping pills to the back of the cupboard, not having touched them in months.
His life was getting back to where it should be, his ranking going back up and his sponsors having gained and interest in him again, he even had a new line of fitness clothes coming out soon, something actually tasteful that he wouldn’t mind wearing to the gym himself and had even picked up a sponsorship deal for some high end shoe company that wanted to do a whole hero range. He had even let Eijirou and Deku talk him into HeroCon, Katsuki finally making his first appearance and if he were to believe his publicist ticket sales had shot through the roof after the announcement of his involvement. All in all things were going well, Katsuki’s life finally getting back to some form of normality but there was just one thing wrong and it was beyond his control to fix it.

He knew he couldn’t prevent Y/N from popping in and out of his life, knew that his time was almost up but he couldn’t stop himself from hating it. It felt like the longest goodbye, like in one of those shitty romance films Mina liked so much when you just knew the main character was going to leave and you were just waiting for it to happen. It was a shit situation but Katsuki was determined to make the most of the time he had left, even if it was only a handful of minutes.
Fuck.
When did his life become the plot out of one of his shitty romance novels?
As if summoned by the thought of her a loud pop sounded through the room. Katsuki didn’t bother looking up from the stove, shouting over his shoulder as he flipped over the pork cutlets he had frying, “if you want food you better hurry up and get your ass in here. The idiot squad is coming over and you know Denki won’t leave you anything”. He didn’t think she would still be there when the idiots turned up and he still hadn’t told anyone about her but it was nice to pretend for a second. He imagined it’s what it would be like a few years from now when she was actually there for squad night. The way she was with his cooking Katsuki could imagine her and Denki fighting over it like they hadn’t eaten in weeks, the other blonde pouting when she undoubtedly won.
Silence answered him, the only noise the sound of food frying. Frowning he glanced over his shoulder, expecting to find her leaning against the counter and smiling at him, just watching him as he moved around the kitchen. It had been annoying at first but then he had realised she just liked watching him cook, making light conversation with the occasional question about what he was doing and he liked having her attention so he had never told her to stop. She wasn’t there though, the space annoyingly empty and he frowned in confusion. He had heard it, that loud pop that signalled her arrival so she was definitely in the apartment so where the hell was she?
“If you’re naked just grab something from the bedroom,” he shouted, turning his attention back to the food. It wouldn’t be the first time she had turned up part way undressed and he had learnt quickly to keep a spare set of clothes in his office after the underwear incident. Mina had been suspicious as fuck when she had bumped into him on the way out the store and Katsuki had thankfully been saved from having to explain the bag of women’s clothes he was clutching by a call from the old hag, something he had never thought he would be grateful for. Still there was no answer and an uneasy feeling settled deep in his gut. Surely she hadn’t popped in and out of his time in the same breath?
Katsuki turned off the hob, moving the pan back so the cutlet wouldn’t burn. He snatched up his glass of water off the edge, taking a sip as he headed out of the kitchen in search of the woman. “Hey dumb ass you better appreciate my amazing skills or I’ll let your ungrateful ass go hungry,” he grumbled, turning the corner and stepping out into the living room, hoping the untrue implication he wouldn’t feed her would get her to come scurrying out of her hiding place.
Katsuki came to a sudden stop as he stepped further out into the living room, finally catching sight of the woman. The glass slipped from his fingers, smashing against the floor and sending glass and water flying. Y/N coughed, her head lolling to the side and resting against the wall she was sitting against. Her lips pulled up into a pained smile, blood clinging to her lips. “Hey blondie,” she gasped out, dissolving into a coughing fit that had more blood spluttering from her lips and dripping down her chin.
Katsuki’s body jerked into action, sprinting across the room and dropping to his knees next to her. “Shit, shit, shit,” he chanted, hands scrambling to cover hers that were loosely pressed against her stomach. There was so much blood, her hands and stomach slick with it and it was quickly covering his own hands as he pressed down on the gaping wound he could see peeking out from between her splayed fingers.
His heart slammed against his chest, his ribs and lungs hurting with it as his breathing picked up. Panic and fear gripped hold of him, sinking their nails in and making him feel sick. The bleeding wasn’t stopping, the warm blood bubbling up from under their hands. Cursing Katsuki let go of her and instantly her hands slipped, like his hold had been the only thing keeping them there and exposed the wound even more. It looked like she had been stabbed but by something much larger than a knife, the hole in the left side of her stomach the size of a tennis ball.
He yanked off his top, scrunching it up and pressing it down against her stomach in an attempt to stop the bleeding. She groaned loudly, her back arching slightly as he pressed down hard. He was hurting her, he knew that but if he was going to keep her alive long enough to get help he needed to stop the bleeding before she lost too much and it wouldn’t matter anymore. He needed his phone, needed to call an ambulance but he had stupidly left it on the kitchen table having abandoned it when he started cooking. Maybe if he was quick enough, he would be able to grab it and be back in a matter of seconds. He had to try, couldn’t just sit here and watch her die.
He was about to get up, the pressure on her stomach easing when he felt wet fingers brush against his wrist, stopping any plans he had of moving. “’m sorry,” she slurred and Katsuki’s gaze snapped up to her face, confused as to what she was apologising for. “Last minute, couldn’t tell you,” she mumbled, eyes hazy and distant. It was only then that Katsuki noticed she was in her hero costume, the black and blue fabric ripped and scorched, her deathly pale skin dirty and splattered in blood. Realization sank in like an ice cold blade to the heart. She didn’t know it was him. She thought it was her Katsuki and he felt a surge of rage towards his older self. They had clearly been together so why the hell hadn’t he protected her?
“So pretty,” she whispered, a shaky hand slowly lifting up to cup his scarred cheek. Even through the slightly tacky blood he could feel how cold her skin was and his worry spiked once more. He needed to get help and he needed to do it now. She hummed softly, her hold on him going lax and her hand sliding from his face, smearing blood down his neck and chest. Her hand landed in her lap with a dulled thud, her eyes fluttering closed as her whole body went lax.
“Hey,” Katsuki snapped desperately, taking a hand away from her stomach to cup her neck, smearing blood across the pale skin as he shook her. She groaned, eyelashes fluttering as her eyes opened slightly. He could see that she wasn’t focusing though, her eyes not really seeing what was going on around her. She looked like a rag doll, arms limp at her sides and slumped against the wall, her chin resting on her shoulder. He couldn’t leave her like this, knew the minute he let go of her to get his phone she would slip into unconsciousness.
He sucked in a deep breath, turning his head towards his front door. “HELP!” he screamed at the top of his lungs, the desperation clear as his voice wobbled. It was a long shot but he had to try, had to see if he could get someone’s attention. He had to do something, he couldn’t just let someone else die when he was supposed to be the hero.
“Third floor,” she mumbled. “What?” Katsuki snapped, jerking his head back round to look at her. “West wing,” her eyes began to droop again, that distant look just getting worse. “Second on the left,” she coughed out, body jerking and lips wet with blood. Her breathing was rapid and shallow, her skin seeming to get even colder under his hand. He didn’t understand what she was saying, her words slurred and made no sense. “Love you,” she breathed, her eyes finally closing.
Katsuki sucked in a sharp breath, shaking her again but nothing happened. “Wake up,” he pleaded, letting go of her stomach to grab her face with both his hands and shaking a little more forcefully but nothing happened. “Come on stop fucking around,” his voice trembled, tears welling in his eyes as he gripped both her shoulders and shook her again. Her head lolled back, her body completely lifeless in his hold and still she didn’t open her eyes.
This couldn’t be happening.
A loud pop cut through the room like a whip cracking and suddenly Katsuki found himself falling forward, the body underneath him vanishing. His hands slipped against the hardwood floor as he lurched forward, his arms buckling and dragging through the large puddle of blood that had formed on the floor. The smell hit him then, thick and metallic, invading his senses and coating his tongue. Katsuki gagged, the putrid smell suffocating him as it forced its way down his throat.
Eyes wide Katsuki pushed himself up, hands slipping once more as he scrambled backwards until his back hit the opposite wall. His stomach churned as he looked on in horror at what lay before him, the puddle of blood smeared across his floor and a dirty and bloody handprint standing out against his white wall along with a smear of blood where she had sunk down to the floor. Katsuki tipped to the side and emptied his stomach across the floor. His stomach ached with it, his throat burning as his lunch forced its way up, hitting the ground with a wet splat. His body heaved, nails scratching into the varnished wood, the putrid smell rising up and chasing the stench of blood away.
When there was nothing left to empty he slumped back against the wall, bringing his hand up to wipe at his lips only to stop short when he caught sight of the state he was in. Blood, so much blood. His hands were covered in it, the red liquid smeared across his arms and standing out against his skin. He stared down at his hands in horror, holding them up before him and watching them tremble.
His mind raced, trying to work through what had just happened but his mind kept getting stuck on her pale body limp in his hold, her normally warm skin cold like ice. This couldn’t be happening, his mind refusing to accept what he had just witnessed. It had to be a nightmare, his twisted mind mixing all his fears with what he felt for her. It couldn’t be real, it couldn’t because if it was then that meant she was, that she was. A lump formed In Katsuki’s throat, like he had swallowed a rock and his mind refused to finish the thought.
No, she had still been breathing when she vanished, her pulse there just faint but alive nonetheless. She didn’t have long though, it would have only been minutes before she had lost too much blood, until it was too late. His mind chose then to catch up, supplying him with every possibility but none of them were good. What if she hadn’t made it? What if she went back there and he was too late? He might find a lifeless body, cold to the touch and smeared with his own bloody handprints. Maybe he wouldn’t find her at all, her body hidden beneath rubble and left to rot all alone.
She could already be dead and he wouldn’t know for years to come.
Katsuki couldn’t move, paralyzed by the thought and staring at his blood soaked hands. It kept replaying through his mind again and again, his tears freely streaming down his face now. He wouldn’t know, not until it was too late and he would have to live through meeting her, loving her with the fear of this day creeping ever closer. Briefly he thought of being able to prevent it, imagined being able to protect her from whatever harm came her way but deep down he knew it was impossible. He didn’t even know her location, what they had even been doing. His future self had already lived through this day and yet it had still happened, seemingly as inescapable as his own pain. He had already failed before he even got the chance to stop it from happening.
He didn’t know how long he sat there for, his mind going numb but the sun was setting, the blood dried on his skin and his body cold. It was like he had given up, his body unable or unwilling to move, to even twitch. What was the point any more, if she was already dead?
That was how Eijirou found him.
Katsuki didn’t even really register the knocking on the door, the muffled voice calling through it, nor the rattle of keys in the lock. “Hey man you home? I tried knocking but there wasn’t an answer,” Eijirou yelled, voice echoing along the corridor. “Bakubro you…KATSUKI!” he heard the jangle of keys hitting the floor, the thud of knees as Eijirou dropped down next to him. Insistent and panicked hands frantically searched Katsuki’s body for injury and he just sat there letting him. Hands gripped his face, tilting his head up and Katsuki blinked, the movement pulling him slightly from his own mind as his eyes tried to focus on the redhead.
He looked worried, fear in his eyes as he stared down at Katsuki. “Tell me where you’re hurt,” he demanded. Grunting Katsuki knocked his hands away from him. “Not mine,” he mumbled and Eijirou frowned, eyes darting across his blood covered skin. “It’s hers,” he grunted, jerking his head towards the opposite wall and the bloody handprint that was clearly too small to be his. Eijirou turned his head, eyes darting around the space and taking in the mass of blood, the vomit, the broken glass and the long since dried puddle of water.
“Who’s?” he asked wearily, his body tensing and eyes darting around again. He was looking for a threat, Katsuki recognising his demeanour but he wouldn’t find anything. There was no threat here. No, the threat lay years away in some unknown location and having claimed a life already. Katsuki mumbled her name, Eijirou’s face scrunching up in confusion. “Who?” he asked again and Katsuki made a pained noise, hands twitching against his thighs.
Katsuki crumbled in on himself, not caring as he buried his bloodied hands in his hair and brought his knees up. “Please Katsuki, you need to talk to me. Who’s blood? I can’t help if you don’t tell me what happened,” Eijirou begged, hands landing on Katsuki’s shoulders. “Can’t help her,” he choked out. He couldn’t help her, he didn’t even know who she was, where to fucking find her to warn her. He knew nothing about her apart from the fact she liked cheesy romance novels, took her tea black with two sugars, liked spicy food and had a persistent sweet tooth. She likes to cuddle on the sofa at night whilst they watch shitty TV, and likes to walk around in oversized sweatshirts and fluffy socks regardless of the weather. He knew a lot of things about her as a person but nothing that would help him find her in the here and now.
“Why not?” Katsuki just shook his head, a lump forming in his throat. “Katsuki, why can’t we help her?” His voice was hard, a slight edge to it like he was implying Katsuki had done something and the blonde felt the fragile hold he had on himself snap. “BECAUSE SHE’S GONE!” he roared, shoving the redhead away from him and scrambling to his feet. Katsuki’s heart was back to thumping away, hands shaking as he stood there and glared down at his friend sprawled across the floor, looking up at him with wide surprised filled eyes.
“She’s gone and I couldn’t do anything to save her,” Katsuki cried, gesturing to the blood stains and breathing heavily, tears in his eyes once more but refusing to fall. Katsuki had failed. Yet again. Katsuki had failed and now someone else was dead. Katsuki screamed, anger consuming him. He spun around, slamming his fist into the wall and letting his palms spark. The drywall cracked, giving way and crumbling, his hand throbbing. He screwed his eyes shut, letting his head fall forward to thump against the wall, his body thrumming with anger. How could she have let this happen, how did he let it happen to her? Heroes were supposed to save lives. He should have been there, should have protected her. If he loved her even only as much as he did now he would have given anything to keep her safe, so how had she ended up bleeding out on his floor?
Strong hands wrapped around his wrist and hand, gently pulling his hand from the wall, his voice gentle as he spoke, “you did what you could Katsuki, everyone knows that. The girl…” Katsuki snarled, yanking his hand out of the other man’s hold as he spun around to look at him. “I’m not talking about the kid,” he growled out angrily. He knew what had happened that day wasn’t his fault and had spent hours in therapy to accept that. He could understand though, why Eijirou would jump to that conclusion. He didn’t know anything about Y/N, didn’t even know she existed and that was his fault too, wanting to keep her to himself when he should have told someone from the start. Eijirou would have understood, he always did.
“She’s my…we are…she’s…” Katsuki couldn’t get the words out though because they weren’t anything. He was nothing to her other than a ghost of the man she knew and she was just the promise of what was to come to him. Groaning, he buried his hands in his hair again and tugged at the strands painfully. Eijirou grabbed his hands, easing them from his hair before he could yank any strands free. “Okay,” he said calmly, looking Katsuki straight in the eyes and the blond sighed, letting his body go lax as he slumped forward into the other man. He fisted his hands in his shirt, head resting on his shoulder and just pulled in one shaky breath after another. Eijirou wrapped his arms around him, hugging him tightly as they just stood there in silence.
Katsuki didn’t know what to do. He couldn’t call the cops, whatever happened hadn’t happened yet so there was no crime he could report. The police had the same access to records as Katsuki did so if he hadn’t been able to find her then neither would they. He was fucking useless, unable to do anything and left with an uneasy feeling that he had just lost the most important thing in his life. Pathetic, useless piece of shit. What good was knowing what was to come if he couldn’t fucking stop it from happening?
Knocking on the door startled Katsuki out of his spiralling thoughts, jerking back from Eijirou like he had been burned and looking anywhere but at his friend and the mess on the floor. The other man gripped his shoulders, holding him still and looking at him with a glum face. “I’ll take care of it. Why don’t you take a shower and get a change of clothes,” Katsuki sucked in a shaky breath, managing to nod his head once. He had forgotten that the others were coming and the thought of them seeing him like this left him feeling sick. He was supposed to be strong, to be an unmovable and unwavering symbol of justice. He wasn’t supposed to show weaknesses and here he was, breaking apart when in reality he should be the one holding all this shit together.
Eijirou squeezed his shoulders before gently nudging him towards the bathroom as the knocking came again. Katsuki trudged away, his body feeling heavy as he slipped inside, closing the door behind him with a soft click just as the mumbled sound of talking reached his ears. He moved out of habit, turning the light on and taking the few steps to the sink. His red hands stood out against the white porcelain as he gripped the sides, his knuckles cracking from how tightly he gripped it. Taking a deep breath he looked up, his eyes meeting his reflection.
He looked like shit, his eyes red rimmed and skin blotchy and pale. There was so much blood, the dark red substance streaked through his hair and smeared down his neck and chest, it was so thick on his hands and arms that it almost looked like he had gloves on. Shakily he lifted a hand to his scarred cheek and the dried bloody handprint that covered it. Lightly he traced a finger along the slightly raised marks, remembering the ghost of her hand there, delicately tracing his scars and telling him how handsome he was, how beautiful she thought him. What if that had been the last time he ever got to hear her say those things?
Katsuki’s skin itched, every place where her blood lay burning like it was acid. He shoved away from the sink and quickly yanked his jogging bottoms off, tripping over them in his desperation to get to the shower. He turned the water on as hot as it could go and frantically started to scrub at his skin, the water turned red, swirling down the drain and left Katsuki feeling sick once more, stomach churning but his body having nothing left to give.
Off, he needed to get it off. His skin prickled, turning red and stinging as he scrubbed and scrubbed at every inch of his body, even after the water ran clear. He was desperate and even though he could no longer see it he could still fill her blood on him, the feeling having sunk into him and seemingly impossible to get rid of. His breathing was ragged, his heart aching with how fast it was beating against his ribs and the feeling of nausea growing with every second.
His legs buckled and Katsuki went crashing to the floor, pain shooting from his knees and up his legs as he crumpled in on himself. His hands clawed at the tub, his head bowed forward and the steaming hot water hitting his back and sliding off his stinging skin. He sucked in a breath, eyes screwed shut and he just opened his mouth and screamed. His ears rang with it, eyes stinging as fat tears rolled down his face. Soon enough his scream cut off into gasping sobs, his throat feeling raw and hands aching as he pounded them against the tub.
He felt helpless, like everything was out of his control. There had to be something he could do, anything to warn her, save her. Anything. “Please,” he choked out, pleading to anyone that was listening. She had to be alive, she had to. He couldn’t have lost her before he had even gotten the chance to know her.
The water ran cold, his tears stopping but still Katsuki stayed huddled at the bottom of the bath, his body shivering from the cold. He knew he had to get up, knew he couldn’t stay there but he didn’t want to get out, didn’t want to go out there and see her blood all over his floor and face the reality that she was gone. He could hear Eijirou moving around outside, his heavy steps stopping outside the bathroom door and probably listening in to make sure Katsuki was still breathing.
Oh god Eijirou.
He owed the other man an explanation, something more than the garbled mess that had come out of his mouth. If he had been in the redheads shoes Katsuki would probably have called the police, would have had him dragged off to a hospital and fucking sectioned for having lost it. Eijirou had trusted him though and Katsuki at least owed it to him to do the same in return.
Cold and still shaking Katsuki slowly pulled himself up, shutting off the water and stepping out onto the rug. He took his time rubbing himself dry and pulling on a clean set of clothes, trying to put off going back out there. He didn’t look in the mirror, didn’t need to see his reflection to know he looked like shit, rung out and empty. He stood at the door, hand curled around the handle and pulled in a deep breath, trying to ready himself for what was still out there.
Katsuki’s eyes instantly went to the wall when he stepped out, expecting to find blood and vomit but instead he found the floor clean, the broken glass gone. He could see that Eijirou had tried to clean the wall but despite his best efforts there was still a slightly pink smear on the white paint. He would have to paint it, repaint the whole wall and get the other one re-plastered. Hide away the evidence of his outburst and her death like it had never happened. Like she had never happened.
“I thought you might want a drink,” Katsuki turned slowly, finding Eijirou coming toward him from the kitchen with two steaming mugs, an uneasy and small smile on his face. “Thanks,” Katsuki mumbled, accepting the cup and trudging over to the sofa, sinking down into the corner, his back to the wall so he would have to look at it and see her still slumped there, bleeding out and dying. Eijirou followed, sitting down in the arm chair and watching Katsuki intently. He didn’t look at his friend, staring ahead at the blank TV and cupping his hands around the cup, letting the heat seep into him. “What happened Katsuki?” Eijirou finally asked, his voice gentle yet leaving no room for Katsuki to try and get out of it. Groaning he rested his elbows on his knees and leant forward, taking one shaky breath after another.
He told Eijirou everything.
He let Katsuki talk for ages, the words tumbling from his mouth in a rush, like they had been waiting to get out. He listened intently, asking the occasional question when Katsuki rushed over something but letting him explain things for the most part. It felt good to finally get everything out there, to tell someone else about the woman who had been such an important part of his life for the last year. Some things were harder than others, Katsuki not wanting to dwell on the circumstances that had led to his scars but most of it came easy, Katsuki actually smiling and laughing about some of the situations he had found himself in over the last twelve months.
They fell into silence when Katsuki finally finished, the implications of how Eijirou had found Katsuki hanging heavy between them. “Shit,” Eijirou mumbled, slumping back in the chair and running a hand through his hair, messing up his spikes. Katsuki just grunted, his tea now stone cold having been forgotten as he talked. He felt lighter having told Eijirou everything but that didn’t change the fact there was a tight and heavy ball of worry in his stomach, the not knowing leaving him feeling twitchy.
“At least you know where she is though,” Katsuki frowned, turning his attention to his friend. “No I don’t,” he grunted. Eijirou looked at him in confusion, like it should have been obvious. “Sure you do. Third floor, west wing, second on the right,” he said with such certainty and Katsuki scowled even more, his anger building. “That could be fucking anywhere. It means jack shit to me,” he spat out. He didn’t know where she was or what she sodding meant. He didn’t have a clue and it wasn’t like he could do anything here, trapped three years in the past and so fucking useless.
“Well not now but then, in the future,” he scratched at his chin, looking thoughtful and Katsuki just stared at him. “What?” he snapped, the redhead having lost him. “You said you thought she was talking to future you but what if she knew it was you and was trying to pass on a message. She was telling you so, well, the you then would know”. Katsuki stared as his friend's words sank in, blinking slowly.
Could that be it? His future self didn’t know she was there so she told him, trusting that Katsuki wouldn’t forget and would be there waiting for her when she got back to her own time. Maybe he wasn’t too late but too early instead. Maybe he still had a chance. Maybe she was still alive. Katsuki grabbed hold of the small sliver of hope with both hands, clutching at it in his desperation. She was out there somewhere waiting for Katsuki to save her life. He would save her, had to save her and he would spend the next few years making sure he was the best he could possibly be to make that a reality.
Eijirou stayed, the two of them spending the night at opposite ends of the sofa and Katsuki telling him everything he knew about her and the little bits of information she had let slip about the future, including the fact that he and Mina had gotten married, the redhead blushing as he admitted to have been thinking about asking her. It was nice, to have the time to actually talk to one another in a way that they hadn’t really gotten to do since school. It was a distraction though and when he finally crawled into bed the image of her limp in his arms came back in full force, his skin itching like he still had dried blood on him.
He didn’t sleep that night.
The next day Katsuki left Eijirou asleep on his couch as he headed out to work, knowing the other man had the day off and didn’t need to be anywhere any time soon. His heart stuttered as he walked past the faded smear of blood on his wall, the image of her flashing through his mind and he made a mental note to get paint on the way home, knowing he wouldn’t sleep that night so he might as well do something that had to be done. He tried not to think about her, tried not to walk around tense and ears straining for that forsaken popping noise. It didn’t work though, Katsuki was constantly on edge and just waiting for something to happen.
Nothing did though and as the weeks dragged on Katsuki found himself losing hope. Every day that went past and she didn’t show left Katsuki falling deeper into himself, growing quiet and just going through the motions. His nightmares came back except a thousand times worse because it wasn’t just the little girl any more. No, now she held hands with Y/N, the child pale, her face blotchy and purple and Y/N looking like death, dripping blood and demanding to know why he let them die.
He tried, he tried so fucking hard to carry on but three weeks later and Katsuki felt like he had aged twenty years. He had come clean to his shrink a week ago, Eijirou making him after Katsuki led him on a half an hour wild goose chase after he thought he had seen her in the crowd. He wasn’t coping and though his behaviour hadn’t been as self-destructive as when the child had died it was still detrimental to his health, Katsuki only still going because he knew that was what was expected of him, knew that was what she would have wanted but every morning it was getting harder to get out of bed and he had spent his last day off hidden away in his bedroom, huddled under the sheets and rereading one shitty romance book after another.
Katsuki glared at his closed office door, leaning against his desk and just wishing the day was over but he was only half way through his shift, his afternoon patrol still to come. By some strange twist of fate he had found himself paired with Eijirou, the man on his way from his own agency to accompany him. They had sprouted some bullshit about a joint agency thing but Katsuki knew it for what it was. They were worried about him, about what he would do as he closed himself off and they wanted Eijirou to keep an eye on him, assuming a friend would have better luck than some random. He should be thankful he hadn’t ended up with Deku again but the nerd was busy, assigned the task of showing the new hero the agency had acquired around for the week. Katsuki had been avoiding them all day, not wanting to have to deal with Deku’s bubbly attitude and whatever poor sod was being forced to trail after him.
POP!
Outside he could hear people talking, everyone sounding so fucking happy as they went about their day and Katsuki wanted to open the door and yell at them. He didn’t want people to be happy when he was in mourning. He wanted quiet, he wanted darkness, he wanted to be on his own but most of all he wanted to grieve his loss. He hated that he was having to pretend that nothing had happened, hated that he had to act like he wasn’t grieving. He wanted to scream and rage but he felt like he didn’t have the right to. She hadn’t been his, still wasn’t so what gave him the right to act like she was?
He would have to go through all this again. Years from now when he had been allowed to love her, to hold her every day and weave her into his life. He would be able to mourn her then though, when he put her in the ground and laid her to rest. He was going to lose her twice but at least the next time he would get some form of closure, wouldn’t have to live with her death hanging over his head like it was now. How was he supposed to let this woman into his life knowing that he would only get a few short years with her before he lost her? How was he supposed to go through life knowing someone he cared for was going to die and that he wasn’t able to stop it from happening?
“If you glare at it hard enough maybe it’ll explode”. Katsuki startled, pushing away from his desk and spinning round to where the voice had come from. She was watching him from where she was leaning against the wall, her eyes full of amusement and an easy smile on her lips. She looked fine, her skin flushed with life and no sign of blood anywhere to be found. “Hey blondie,” she greeted, pushing away from the wall and Katsuki was on her in seconds.
He wrapped his arms around her shoulders, yanking her against his chest and holding her tightly, burying his head in her neck. She laughed, the sound bright and happy as she wrapped her arms around him and hugged him back. Fuck he had missed that sound. Relief crashed into him, the tension he had been carrying around for the last few weeks vanishing in an instant. “You’re alive,” he sighed, his voice muffled by her shoulder. She was alive and okay, solid and whole in his arms. “All thanks to you,” she whispered, carding her fingers through his hair and gripping at his back.
Her words sank in slowly just like the heat that radiated off of her. He had saved her. Katsuki had saved her. His heart lurched, eyes prickling as his emotions crashed through him. The relief he felt at having her here, knowing she was okay was almost palatable. Katsuki felt almost overwhelmed by it all but she grounded him, kept him tethered to the moment instead of letting it all pull him under. She was real. She was real and here and alive. He hadn’t failed.
She started to shift and reluctantly he let her pull away, his hands falling to her hips and keeping her close still. She smiled up at him, lifting a hand up to cup his scarred cheek. A memory flashed through his mind, a cold and bloody hand following the same jagged lines and Katsuki’s stomach churned, his skin feeling like it was burning under her hand. “Thank you Katsuki,” she said sincerely, cutting through the image and jerking him back to the version of her that stood before him. “I didn’t do anything,” he mumbled, his tongue feeling heavy in his mouth. “You will though so thank you,” she smiled softly, “you are quite literally my hero now”.
Katsuki’s hands twitched at that, his chest puffing out in pride whilst also feeling undeserving of her praise. The mix of feeling was short lived though, Y/N letting out a hiss of pain and her face contorting with pain. “Shit,” Katsuki jerked back, snatching his hands away from her as he looked down at her stomach in panic. She looked fine but how long had it been for her? Time was never consistent for them, the weeks that had stretched between her visits to him only being a couple of days for her, if not ours sometimes. She was wearing leggings and one of his hoodies, all soft and loose fitting and things that wouldn’t aggravate a still healing wound. “It’s fine, just got released today so everything’s a little tender still,” she explained, smiling reassuringly at him.
Katsuki nodded and took a step back, wanting to put some distance between them and not wanting to risk causing her any more discomfort but this time she was the one who didn’t let him get far, her hand darting out to grab his and pull him back towards her. “I’m okay, you don’t need to worry. You can still touch me,” she gave him a pleading look, her eyes wide and shimmering and not for the first time in the last year he felt like she wasn’t talking to him now, trying to convey something that his future self wasn’t quite getting.
Grunting he laced their fingers together and let her step back into his space. He placed his other hand on her hip, the side that she hadn’t been bleeding from and urged her a little closer. He made sure to be gentle, his touch light and thumb gently brushing against her side. She sighed, placing her free hand over his heart, her fingers toying with the collar of his top.
The atmosphere seemed to shift, it becoming heavy and gloomy. She looked sad, a frown tugging at her lips as her eyes roamed across him, like she was trying to commit him to memory. “This is the last time,” he grunted. It wasn’t a question, the realisation coming to him suddenly and he glanced at the clock above his door. He hadn’t noticed the time she had turned up but he knew her last appearance had only lasted for about ten minutes. His grip on her hand tightened, as if that would somehow keep her with him. A sad smile tugged at his lips but she didn’t deny it.
A loud shout came from outside and her attention darted to the side, stepping in closer to him as if to try and hide herself from anyone who might come through the door and eyeing it uneasily. That was his fault, hiding her away and making her feel unwelcome in his life when he should have let her roam free. She shouldn’t have to hide just because he was a selfish and possessive bastard. “It’s fine, Deku’s showing some new hero around and everyone’s acting like idiots,” he mumbled. Something flashed through her eyes at that, quicker than Katsuki could identify but it left them sparkling with a knowing glint and a wide smile on her lips spreading across her face.
She laughed, Katsuki frowning in confusion but before he could ask what was so funny she was pulling him into a hug, her arms wrapping around his shoulders and tucking her head under his chin. It took him a second to react, startled by the sudden change in atmosphere but soon enough he was relaxing into it, looping his arms around her and burying his nose in her hair. She already smelt like him. Like home.
“I’ll be seeing you blondie,” her breath tickled against his neck and sent a shiver down his spine. He tightened his hold on her, not wanting to let her go, not wanting this to be over just yet but it was out of his control. She would be vanishing from his life any second now and he didn’t want to taint their last moments together with his shitty attitude. “Soon?” he asked, voice muffled in her hair. He sounded hopeful, waiting for an answer he didn’t expect to get. She had never told him before when he asked so why would she start now.
With a laugh she pulled back, cupping his cheek and tracing her thumb along the scars under his eye. He mimicked the action, his hand seeming big as she turned her face into his touch. “Sooner than you think,” she teased, winking at him. Katsuki frowned at her in confusion, mouth opening to ask her what she meant but before he could get the words out a loud pop cut through the room and she was gone, her laughter echoing through the room before that too faded.
Katsuki let his hand fall, feeling cold at her sudden loss. So that was it then. She was gone and he was alone for however long it would be before she came back into his life. He felt exhausted, the emotional whiplash of finding out she was alive and having to let her go all over again taking its toll. At least he knew now that despite everything she would still be there at the end. He wouldn’t be left standing over her grave and trying to work out where he had fucked up.
“Hey Bakubro, you ready to go?” Eijirou called, knocking on the frosted glass even as he opened the door. Katsuki turned towards his friend, the redhead frowning slightly as he dragged his eyes over the blonde. “What happened?” he asked cautiously, closing the door behind him and letting his eyes dart around the room. “She’s alive,” he said simply, his voice rough and gravelly.
Confusion flashed across Eijirou’s face before understanding set in and a massive grin split his face in two. “That’s fantastic,” he exclaimed excitedly, taking a few long strides across the room and yanking Katsuki into a bone crushing hug. Katsuki groaned, shoving the other man away from him as he sucked in a much needed breath. “What the hell shitty hair, you trying to kill me?” he barked, rubbing at his arms where the other man’s arms had dug in.
He laughed, pulling away and looking sheepish as he rubbed at the back of his neck, “sorry man, got a little excited but this is good right? She’s alive!” Eijirou’s enthusiasm was infectious and Katsuki soon found himself beaming at his friend, “yeah”. It was good, better than good. She was alive and safe and Katsuki wouldn’t have to bury her. Eijirou nudged him in the shoulder and Katsuki’s smile fell as he stumbled to the side slightly, turning to glare at his laughing friend. “Come on, got work to be doing,” he grumbled, shoving the redhead out the way as he stalked over to the door, Eijirou’s laughter following behind.
He felt lighter now, like a weight had been lifted not only from his shoulders but also his heart. Sure he would have to wait for her to be part of his life but at least now he knew he wouldn’t have to go through their entire relationship waiting for the day she would die. He was excited for the day when he finally met her, frustrated he would have to wait but it would all be worth it in the end. Katsuki didn’t do anything by halves and he sure as hell wouldn’t start now. When he finally met her he would make sure to sweep her off her feet and treat her like the fucking princess she was. He wouldn’t let her go, ever and that was a promise.
He yanked the door open, striding out of his office with a new found determination and walked right into someone as they walked past. “Watch where you’re going dumb ass,” he snarled, catching himself on the doorframe so as to not fall back on his ass. “Said the guy who just walks out without looking,” the person he had walked into snarked and Katsuki’s head snapped up recognising that voice instantly. His eyes widened as he found Y/N glaring at him, dressed in her hero costume and arms folded across her chest. “You’re back,” he breathed and her brows furrowed, looking at Katsuki like he had a screw loose. “Right,” she said, eyeing Katsuki suspiciously.
It sank in then, the slight differences. She looked a little younger, her stance a lot more closed off than he was used to and her face blank instead of filled with the fondness and love that he was so accustomed to. Her hero outfit was the same except there was no electric blue, everything just black. His eyes dropped down to her stomach, landing on smooth unmarked skin instead of scars or bandages that he had been expecting. It was her, his times version of her and he had just yelled at her and called her a dumb ass. Shit.
She went to step back but Eijirou got there first, reaching around Katsuki to offer her his hand and introducing himself, “hey I’m Red Riot”. Her attention snapped to him, her scowl easing into a smile but Katsuki could tell it was forced, it not quite reaching her guarded and cold eyes. She introduced herself and he knew he should be listening but everything was white noise as he stared at her intently. Here, she was here.
Silence fell between them as she let Eijirou’s hand fall and the redhead nudged Katsuki in the side startling him out of his stupor. He fumbled as he yanked his glove off, reached out his hand to her as he let the garment fall to the floor, “I’m Kats…” he started but she cut him off, ignoring his outstretched hand as she took a step back. “Yeah, not interested,” she said dismissively, turning her attention back to Eijirou. “It was nice meeting you though,” she smiled, nodding her head politely at the redhead and then she was gone, stalking off down the corridor and not looking back once.
Katsuki stood there staring after her, mouth working but nothing coming out. As first impressions went, that had been bad, not the worst Katsuki had ever done but considering he wanted to date this woman it probably could have stood to go at least a little better. She hadn’t even wanted to know his name. Shit how had he fucked up in a matter of seconds?
“Soooo, was that her?” Eijirou asked, staring in the same direction Katsuki was. “Yeah,” he grumbled, finally finding his voice. The redhead laughed, clapping Katsuki on the shoulder, “well at least you know she eventually likes you”. Katsuki yanked his shoulder out from the other names hold, ignoring his laughter as he stalked down the corridor in the opposite direction she had. She had said sooner than he had though but he hadn’t even hoped to imagine it would be this soon and he had already gone and fucked things up.
Eijirou had a point though. Katsuki knew that they would end up together, knew that somehow he worked his way into her life. He just had to carry on with his original plan. He should probably apologise to her first though, maybe offer her a coffee or tea or something that he knew she liked. He just had to be himself but less of an asshole and then maybe in a week or two he could ask her out to dinner. He knew they both liked that curry place that had opened a few weeks ago so as far as first dates went at least he wouldn’t have to worry about her not liking the food.
Shit he felt giddy, like one of those stupid women in his romance novels who were just waiting to get swept off their feet. He couldn’t find it in himself to care though. He had been waiting for this moment for over a year and he wasn’t about to let a bad first impression get in his way.
Things did not go to plan.
If possible things got worse, the second time he saw her finding him angry and drenched in slime, yelling and swearing and threatening to kill someone. Someone had scoffed and he had spun round, full of rage and ready to rip someone a new one only to have it all drain out of him in the blink of an eye as he found her looking at him with amused disgust. Before he had even been able to get out any form of explanation or apology she had been gone, disappearing into the lift and vanishing from sight.
The next two times he saw her were at meetings and though he had paid attention to what was being said he had spent the whole time stealing glances at hernin hopes that he would catch her eye but she never once looked his way, keeping her eyes fixed on the whiteboard at the front of the room. He had tried to catch her before she left but the whole sodding universe seemed to be working against him, everyone getting in his way and allowing her to slip through his grasp once more.
His friends were no help either, the idiots spending more time laughing at his failed attempts than actually offering anything constructive. He had caved after three weeks of getting nowhere, telling his idiot friends everything when he had let slip about his latest fuck up where he had accidently spilt a fresh cup of coffee over her rather pristine and white blouse she had on for a meeting. That had gotten him some stunned silences and pitying looks but it had passed quickly, all of them focusing on the fact that he had managed to con some poor woman into dating him. Their words not his.
Katsuki finally got his chance about a month after she started at the agency, the two of them ending up stuck in a lift together. It had been awkward at first, Katsuki not knowing what to say and her shutting him down every time he opened his mouth. After an hour though something had seemed to shift and when Katsuki offered her one of his protein bars she had accepted it with a mumbled thanks and a small smile.
What had followed was three hours of casual conversation, Katsuki finding out things that she had outright refused to tell him when he asked her future self. It was difficult to keep the two versions of her separate, Katsuki having to backpedal a couple of times when he said something he really shouldn’t know. By the time the lift got moving and they made it safely to the ground floor they both knew a lot more about the other and as she disappeared out onto the street she had even looked back over her shoulder, smiling shyly.
Afterwards he found out the electronics in the whole building had been overloaded and the next time he saw Denki the idiot looked way too happy with himself.
Things moved quickly after that, quicker than he had expected and just a week later he asked her on a date. He could have probably picked a better location than the training room, Y/N pinned beneath him panting and sweating after a round of sparring but the words had just come rushing out before he even noticed his mouth was moving. She had started up at him, their faces way too close to be anything other than intimate but she had smiled, something soft and private and she had said yes.
Work had been hectic and it wasn’t until a week later either of them had an evening free. He took her to the curry place, ignoring everyone who insisted he take her somewhere fancy. Things had gone well, the two of them falling into easy conversation as she sipped at her wine and Katsuki swirled his whisky around. They got along well but Katsuki had known they would, both of them having the same sense of humour and the same drive when it came to work.
The date had gone well enough that he had been granted another one and another one and another one until a month had passed and Katsuki had finally asked her to dinner at his place. He had cooked, done the whole romantic shit with candles and gentle music playing in the background and when all was said and done she had led him by the hand towards his bedroom, smiling coyly as she pulled him inside and pressed him against the door, her lips finding his instantly. She had stayed that night, the next night as well.
Eight months later she moved in.
Katsuki knew it was coming but it didn’t change the fact that living with someone else could be difficult. They argued a couple of times, Katsuki getting angry and her being stubborn and sometimes a little childish. He had stayed at Eijirou’s a couple of times and she had gone off to one of her friends when they had needed space but moments like that were few and far between.
Life was good, Katsuki happy with his life in a way that he hadn’t really ever been and the memory of how she came into his life faded slightly and Katsuki forgot to keep track of how much time was passing or the events that were going on around him. He was enjoying his life and the woman he now shared it with so he didn’t think anything of it when she got hit by an unknown quirk, well nothing outside of the usual worry, Katsuki hovering over her and glaring as she was checked over by doctors. He got in the way, annoyed the hell out of the nurse but he stayed put until she was given the all clear.
She had brushed off his fussing, sending him away as she went to finish her half of the paperwork, promising to see him at home. Katsuki hadn’t thought to join the dots, letting the day’s events just roll off of him. There had been a couple of times over the years that he had thought it was going to happen but it never did so he just assumed this one was a false start just like the others. He was too preoccupied anyway, their two year anniversary fast approaching and Katsuki trying to work out the best way to ask her to marry him.
Later that evening when he had heard that gods forsaken popping noise Katsuki had stiffened, a cold dread running down his spine as he was bombarded with all the memories that had faded to the back of his mind, now all in bright technicolour and as loud as a club.
So this was it. The clock had started ticking down and his time was already running out. Katsuki had no idea how long he had, she had never told him how much time passed for her but that didn’t matter. He had a death to prevent, a life to save and no clue how long he had to do so.
He went out the hall, finding her standing there looking shocked and a little uneasy. He pulled her in, kissed her on the lips and told her that her precious shoes were in the closet before heading back into the living room. He poured them both a drink and sat down on the sofa, waiting for her to snap out of it and join him. He had a lot he would need to explain tonight and he would have to tread carefully so as not to change anything that had already happened.
She sat down next to him, snatching the drink off the table and downing it in one before pouring herself another one. Katsuki took a sip of his own, trying to work out what he was going to say but she got there first, turning to look at him with wide and confused eyes, her voice sharp and full of disbelief, “what the hell just happened?”
Fuck.
He wasn’t ready for this shit.

Hot take: Bakugou's character wouldn't survive if not for the one he kept abusing all his life. 90% of his character revolves around his victim and yet the fandom paints him as this super developed, fleshed out character when in reality he'd never be anything bigger than a side character if not for Deku.
Also the concequences he supposedly received are just him being teased or not getting the win he wanted, no being kidnapped doesn't count, he literally got away with his shit while even been treated like a victim and the privilege to know something about Deku that isn't any of his business. And now because he sacrificed himself that one time the fandom acts like Izuku owes his ass anything. It's disgusting.
I have given up on him actually being half the decent character ppl make him out to be and the fandom reaction to him makes me hate him even more.
He's not complex, he's just a pretty boy, asshole archetype who gets nicer and has some more cooperative and ppl love to eat that shit up while making up stuff for him. He changes but he's doesn't change for what matters and definitely pales in comparison to other characters who are better written than him.
(holy shit, did they remove the character limit on asks?? omg a GODSEND)
Well yeah, if it weren’t for Izuku and how he treats Izuku he wouldn’t have anything to improve from; people only think he’s developed because he no longer outright bullies him and “””worries””” (I say in heavy quotes) about him, and “reflects” on how he treated him even though he.......... comes to the absolute wrongest, most idiotic conclusions imaginable, that put the brunt of the excuses on Izuku instead of himself, but Toshinori validates him because Horikoshi has made Toshi into Bakugou’s uwu stan and stan of the two boys’ “friendship” (completely ignoring the fact that THIS KID FOR TEN YEARS BULLIED HIS SON). He’s basically already been devolved to acting like a side character for a long time now, with his funny anger quirk pun partly intended that’s just treated like a joke at this point, just like everyone else’s character quirks, even though it would be far more interesting for him to, you know. actually get some therapy and learn to calm himself and become an actual pleasant person to be around. But that’s not what makes him “funny”, that’s not him, according to most people, so he’s always going to stay like this, a boring angry pomeranian who flies off the handle at everything for no reason, who has done the absolute bare minimum of “changing”, which makes him a perfect character in everyone’s eyes.
“He changes but doesn’t change for what matters” pretty much sums up the problem with him in a nutshell, and is the exact reason he frustrates me so much, that I’ve ranted about plenty before. Bakugou has never been viewed through the lens of a bully, an abuser, he was never set up to be that, at least not realistically, and so his development hasn’t happened in accordance with that setup either, and people don’t have a problem with it and actively praise it because the manga actively downplay(ed)s the severity of that origin story. People can ignore the reality of how seriously traumatic being bullied for ten years of your childhood, verbally and physically would be, and how seriously and with such sensitivity such a relationship and character arc must be handled, because aside from the very first chapter when Izuku and Bakugou are still in middle school, really, with the “take a swan dive off the roof” comment and others, it’s never focused on in that way ever again; ever since, it’s just been treated as a typical anime “rivalry”, that both of them need to better themselves to overcome. The story and teachers say “the two of them are so alike but they just keep missing each other; if they just made up for each others’ weaknesses and understood that they both want the same thing, they’d be stronger together!”, and Izuku HIMSELF tries so hard to reach through to Bakugou, always still considering him his friend, always feeling like he’s the one equally at fault for their relationship being as rocky as it is, when BAKUGOU!!! FUCKING!!! BULLIED HIM!!! FOR TEN YEARS. bullied a DISABLED CHILD, which again, as a disabled person who relates to Izuku and how he felt about his quirklessness, feelings that continue to affect him even long after he gets a quirk because of how he was treated when he was younger, is DEEPLY unsettling to me. You CANNOT read/watch MHA without the metaphor of quirklessness = disabled being very apparent, and so that makes Bakugou’s bullying and how it is so utterly glossed over and purposefully forgotten a hundred times more disturbing and aggravating than it already is! If this were any other shounen rivalry then yes, it could be resolved with effort from both parties, because both parties have their own personal reasons for why they have trouble getting along with the other, and the fun is watching to see how they will overcome those, but Izuku and Bakugou were never on an equal playing field to begin with; this is a bullying story, with its victim trying desperately to win over and befriend his abuser, when he owes him absolutely NOTHING and has a BOATLOAD of unresolved issues thanks to said bullying, with no outside help from adults for either of them because none of them are acknowledging it as fucking bullying. I guarantee you that if the manga went into much more painful, bleak detail and showed many more flashbacks of how Izuku was treated by Bakugou in the past, and then still continued with the “development” he’s had since, people would be unable to ignore it like they can now, and it would make all of them extremely uncomfortable like it does those of us now who already dislike him. Hori himself has said he doesn’t understand why Bakugou is so popular, but he’s able to just continue as he does with him because no one is complaining, and because he said he regrets making him so awful in the beginning, as if that magically makes it disappear as much as it already has in 90% of the fandom’s collective mind. You wanna know an actual good manga that also deals with a bully of a disabled child growing and improving himself and forming a close relationship with his former victim? A Silent Voice. Such a journey is long, and hard, and it is painful, with many ups and downs and many nasty, hateful, guilt-filled, depression-filled feelings from both sides, along with from other characters who either also partook in the bullying, were bystanders to it who did nothing, or were indirect victims as well. The bully is bullied himself after what he does, and then grows up nearly suicidal, closing himself off and struggling to be social and make new friends because he doesn’t know how and doesn’t entirely feel like he deserves it (and the story notably doesn’t go the route of “he was abused too at home and so that’s why he bullied”), and tries and fails many times to make amends with the person he hurt before he finally is at peace with himself and everyone; the victim, meanwhile, drowns in continued guilt and suicidal feelings over feeling like she’s a burden to others, both from her disability and from watching all the infighting and victim blaming and finger pointing that ensues between her old classmates when all of the nasty emotions are brought back to the surface, along with dealing with budding romantic feelings for her past bully when he genuinely starts being kind towards her and making an effort to connect with her. ASV is entirely about this complex narrative, it’s able to dedicate everything it has to telling this story tactfully and with all the time and attention it needs. MHA, meanwhile, is a shounen battle manga, and so it was never going to do this narrative and Bakugou’s arc justice, even though I honestly think it could have if Hori really wanted to, because Izuku and Toshinori’s relationship has such masterfully subtle and touching emotions and care, at least early on; Horikoshi knows how to write good, subtle character arcs. I’m not asking for something ASV level, of course not, when the series has so many other things it has to juggle. I just wanted Bakugou to be treated as exactly what he is: a former bully, who can be taught, and learn, and reflect, and change, and become a better, more humble, more interesting person, and actually become someone worthy of all the praise and love he gets, not only for Izuku’s sake, but for his own, as well. They don’t excuse his actions in the slightest, but it’s still undeniable that Bakugou himself is a victim of how the adults in his life have treated him and raised his own expectations of himself, giving him the crippling insecurity issues he has, and that they continue to harm him (and Izuku) by simply letting him continue to go on angrily the way he does, instead of getting him help and some therapy in order for him to change and heal from things like being kidnapped by villains (which is no small thing to go through!! on top of his guilt over Toshinori’s final battle!) and becoming a better person to the one he hurt in the past, and it all just makes me so sad, not because I’m all “uwu poor Bakugou”, but just cause his character deserves better, as a person he deserves better, just like Izuku deserves better than everything he’s gone through because of him. This is all just a very long-winded way of agreeing with you OP that yes, none of Bakugou’s “punishments” for his behavior mean anything because he’s punished as a rival student who needs to humble himself in order to get along with his friend he doesn’t like, not as a former(??) bully who needs to be separated from his victim. The bar is set so low, was never set where it should be, and so absolutely no progress to “better himself” Bakugou makes either will mean anything, as long as it’s never acknowledged that he needs to make amends as a bully and abuser.

TODOROKI
Arranged mariage : Ok it's cliché but it fits perfectly with his family. He absolutely does not want this marriage. His father is the one who took care of all this and the wedding has been planned since he was a child. He doesn't even want to know the one he is supposed to marry until the fateful day. He's already not very expressive, so you can hardly expect a smile from him when the rings are exchanged. He is not the kind of person who behaves badly with his new wife, he is aware that she also has nothing to do with it, but that is not why he makes a lot of effort. He keeps his bedroom separate and stays at home as little as possible, preferring to linger at work. For a long time, this couple is only a cohabitation between two strangers who are obliged to parade themselves during special events. It's only when he catches her crying on the phone with one of her friends that he realizes how uncomfortable this situation is for her. Until now he had ignored all her attempts to approach him, believing that she felt forced to do this. From this moment on, he starts coming home earlier, sharing meals with her and listening to her. No, they did not fall in love suddenly, but became very good friends whose feelings were born over time.
BAKUGOU
Enemies to lovers :  Surprising isn't it? Absolutely not, I know but it seems to be a no brainer with him. You are rivals in every way: academic grade, progression, quirk development, cooking, internship ... and the list can go on and on. You both have goals to achieve and one of them is to surpass the other. It's a constant competition accompanied by Bakugou's angry spikes and your best comebacks. It's a story that only repeats itself throughout your entire school days. Your friends try to improve things between you two, but nothing makes it, you see in the other one only an unbearable individual who should not compare to you. Unfortunately for you, fate has it that you find yourselves in the same agency after high school and several times you end up as teammates, even though you have expressed your mutual dislike to your superiors. No, no, you don't automatically become best friends. But you have to be civilized so as not to damage the image of the heroes and by dint of being around each other, of sharing moments of life where you are not always in the heat of the action, you get to know each other. There is less and less animosity between you until one day when he finds himself at your place after a long mission and while you give him some antiseptic and a cotton to disinfect the wound on his shoulder, he cannot help but kiss you.
KIRISHIMA
Friends to lovers : The best friend ever! A real ray of sunshine who is always there for you and who constantly makes you laugh. You can't get enough of each other and you know each other by heart. You are the best partners ever. There is no shame between you and you share everything. Many times people have mistakenly thought you were a couple and complimented your chemistry. And each time, you couldn't help but blush as you denied that you were a couple, even though your stutter caused some doubt. Behind your back, your friends are all busy making bets about who will make the first move and especially when. It wasn't until you grew up that you realized you felt more than friendship for the one you've always considered a friend. But each of you is convinced that the other doesn't share the same feelings and is afraid of ruining the friendship. As a result, you stay in this blurred friendship zone a little too long. True to his mantra of being manly, Kirishima is the one who takes his courage in two hands. He meticulously prepares his confession with the help of Bakugou and Denki (even though they almost blow the plan several times).
SHINSOU
Bad boy : Wait let me clarify this one. I wouldn't call Shinsou a bad boy, but that's probably the image people around him give him. Between his dark circles, his quirk and his tendency to stick by himself, they can only assume that he fits that term. You didn't trust that judgment and never saw him as someone to be wary of. You got together for group work at Aizawa's request and that's how you got close to him. At first he didn't talk much, but you didn't stop there. By observing him more closely you got to know him better, especially his passion for cats. It was through this that you saw him smile for the first time when you suddenly bent down to pet a cat while you were explaining your latest research. In the end the group work was just an excuse and you were often in each other's company just because you wanted to be. You don't count the number of classmates who whispered when you passed in the corridors. But they had no idea about Shinsou's personality, the one who loved cats and who could find sleep in your arms.
MIRIO
Fake dating :  Everyone dreams of dating him. He is the pure incarnation of the labrador boyfriend and he has all the qualities that one could attribute to him. His smile has charmed many. It also makes him the ideal son-in-law we all hope to have. Usually you don't pay attention to all of this, but when you find yourself without a date at your cousin's wedding after you told your family you had a boyfriend two months earlier, he's the first person that comes to mind. All you have to do is ask him to play the role of your boyfriend for a weekend. You've never been in a more embarrassing situation, especially when he can't stop laughing at your odd request. He finally agrees, especially since you've promised him everything he wants as a token of your appreciation. You shouldn't be surprised, but you are when you see how wonderfully he plays the part. Even the way he tells the story of your meeting is perfect. He acts very natural, like it's all real, and doesn't balk when you have to share a room. All of his little attentions (hand on the small of your back, filling your glass, his jacket on your shoulder), only endear the people around you. You almost want the wedding to drag on and on so you can still enjoy this little cocoon that makes you feel so good. And the magic lasts when you come back and he admits that it's not all an act for him.

💥Bakugou HC's💥
Tumblr media
Aged-up pro hero Katsuki for all of these. Some NSFW beneath the cut. Minors do not interact.
- - - - -
General
He’s scary good at everything he tries. Every. Single. Fucking. Thing. It’s infuriating. Has zero patience when other people can’t immediately master a skill. Never let him teach you anything. Not that he’d offer, nerd.
He WILL offer, though. A lot. He can’t believe you still can’t Do That Thing. Tsh. Like THIS. You're gonna hurt yourself, Dummy.
But hold on. Of course you have unique skills of your own. You work hard to improve yourself. Trust me, he's the first person to notice. He doesn't praise anyone lightly, so when he raises his eyebrows and whispers he's impressed, your heart will go thermonuclear.
Perfect spelling and fully punctuated texts. Never uses abbreviations. Employs a grand total of four emojis, all of them angry faces. Constantly leaves you on read. He's busy, dammit.
Doesn’t smile or laugh in public (except sarcastically). His real smile is a crooked, fragile thing. Never make him feel self-conscious about it, or you might not see it again for weeks.
He does not talk about his private life to the press. Ever. Will K.O. rookie reporters who can't keep their big mouths shut.
HOweVER: he's intensely kind to his fans. There is a whole photographic sub-genre of little girls in cosplay hugging Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight like he's a Disney Princess.
Too smart for his own good. Emotionally hyper-vigilant. Overthinks every interaction to hell and back. Will act like he's not listening but actually hears every single word in a ten-block radius.
INSECURE AF. 110% convinced he will never be good enough. Terrified of his loved ones leaving him behind. Does he do anything to assuage his fears? Like... talk to anyone about it? Hell no. That would require admitting he has fears to begin with.
Seeing people upset makes him upset, especially if he doesn't know how to fix it.
The epitome of being mean because he cares. He genuinely does not seem to comprehend that monosyllabic grunts and lopsided shrugs are not actually that comforting.
Because he was such a brat growing up, he wants to make up for it now. Sort of. In his own way. Look, he's trying, okay?
He smells - so - good. Obscenely good. He doesn't wear cologne; are you joking? There's the burnt-sugar caramel candy smell of his quirk, for starters. And since he sweats deadly ammunition, he showers and wipes himself down almost constantly. He always smells clean. Like a fucking meadow.
Never got that growth spurt he was hoping for. He’s a short man - not even THAT short - but he has a Napoleon complex anyway. If you’re taller than him, the collars of your shirts will all be stretched out. He’s constantly dragging you down to his level. He will assert himself all the fucking time; the pissing contest is never-ending. Don’t wear tall shoes unless you want him to drag you around on a leash. If you’re shorter than him, that’s good. That’s very good. He likes that.
He’s an incredible cook, but everything he makes is a nuclear fire challenge. Adapt or starve.
- - - - -
Dating
Makes artisanal, nutritionally flawless bento lunches for both of you. When people assume his S.O. makes them, he gets fucking pissed. Damn right your co-workers are jealous of my cooking.
Your pet name is Dummy. Don’t like it? Fine. You can be dumbass.
There will be zero PDA in this relationship. His hands are shoved so deep in his pockets you can’t even try.
Intensely private with the press. But with his friends, he will brag about you nonstop. Bakugou Katsuki has the most talented and attractive and intelligent S.O., and anyone who doesn't recognize that is blind. Were you assholes even listening?
A mutual buddy definitely recorded one of these drunken brag-rants and sent it to you for safekeeping. Do not let Katsuki find out about it, unless you enjoy having an ash pile for a phone.
Gets jealous about everything, at least at the start. He calms down eventually. Kinda. He stops saying shit to you about it, anyway, because he learns to trust you. But anyone who so much as looks at you in a too-friendly manner will get the death stare of a lifetime.
He’ll throw all kinds of temper tantrums and the two of you will argue about every tiny fucking thing. He’ll scream out car windows, he’ll ball up his shirt and gnash on it. But he will never raise his voice at you. He’d rather die than make you feel unsafe.
Honestly, the constant bickering is really just... uhh... passionate communication. Eventually you both hash out the important things. You'll learn how to step around his landmines and actually make your points, and he'll learn to open up. A little.
Once you meet his mom, Katsuki starts to make a lot more sense. His family just... emotes like that. Eventually, you and his dad form a spousal support group consisting of exactly two lifetime members. He teaches you the Bakugou family semaphore you need to survive a long-term relationship.
Katsuki can dish it out but absolutely cannot take it. The only person who can level with him about serious issues without explosive fallout is his dad. Or, on a lucky day, Kirishima.
If you give him a legitimate criticism (even gently!) he will take it about as gracefully as a knife to the gut, because it confirms everything he hates about himself.
To your never-ending shock, you’ve made him cry. Yes, CRY! You monster! More than once! His lip gets all *trembly* and his eyes get all *watery* and all you want to do is hug him, but. No. He’ll storm out and wander around for a few hours before coming back with the problem perfectly solved.
He always takes your advice to heart. No, he will NOT talk about it, stop asking.
Gets mad if you don’t snuggle him on the regular. Will drag you into his lap with a pissy little grunt. There might be two seats on this couch but you will not be needing both of them.
Takes pictures of you while you sleep.
Takes even more pictures of you when you're awake but think he's out of the room.
He looks at all these pictures when he's away on high-stakes jobs. He gets all bleary eyed and sleeps in a salty puddle without you. NO ONE WILL EVER KNOW.
You don’t have to meet him at the door or anything, but when he says “I’m home,” you’d better answer fast. If he doesn’t know your precise location in 0.05 seconds, he will assume you’ve been kidnapped. He never checks the fridge for notes. Never assumes you've gone down to the konbini for a snack. No, it’s kidnapping every time.
A terrrrrrible bed partner. He goes to bed at senior citizen hours and will never fuck you after sundown. He snores SO loud. Runs hot and sweats through the sheets. Slaps and elbows you in his sleep and aggressively spoons you with his loud, sweaty body. You WILL want to suffocate him. Separate bedrooms aren’t such a horrible idea......
BUT HANG ON, because in the morning he transforms into an honest-to-god angel. He's half awake, his guard is non-existent. Morning Katsuki is a doting kissy-faced marshmallow man.
If you can wake up before the ass-crack of dawn, he will pamper the fuck out of you. You are royalty for one (1) hour only, and he is your bleary-eyed slave. You want a cuddlefuck? You got it. Hugs? Kisses? Take as many as you need. You want a perfect, fluffy, NON-SPICY omelette with a heart drawn in ketchup? Here it is, gorgeous.
Then he gets in the shower and the spell is broken.
- - - - -
💥bang BANG💥
Let’s get the obvious out of the way: this here is an ASS. MAN. He'll spank you with his quirk; doesn’t matter if you’ve been good or bad. Wants to see you wince when you sit down later.
Likes pounding you face down with a vice grip on your waist.
Unfortunately, even with all that said... he doesn't exactly have the feral beast sex drive you were expecting. He’s married to his work and has the fuddy-duddy habits of a once and future valedictorian. Only fucks you when he has the time and energy to fully dedicate himself to it.
But ohhhh. Shit. When it's time? It's TIME. The man will rush for nothing. Stamina for days. Making you cum as many times as possible is a point of pride. Yeah, you passed out once.
You’re gonna need those days off when he’s done with you.
That dick THICC.
Sends unsolicited dick pics. Only after you’ve been dating a good long while - he doesn't show that shit to just anyone. But yeah, don’t check your phone at work. He won't cum without you; those pictures and videos are time bombs. You better get home. Now.
Physically dominant as FUCK, but won’t verbally degrade you unless you ask. Well, let’s be honest. Unless you beg.
Praise him and reap the rewards. A long hard ego stroking will get him off more than touching his cock ever will.
Will grab your hair and fuck your throat. Will also stop immediately if you need him to.
The two of you have safe words and gestures. Even for vanilla stuff. He’s paranoid about scaring or hurting you. He insisted you both sign a color-coded ‘love contract’ that he meticulously formatted in a word processor. When you gave him guff about it, his blush was the darkest crimson you’d ever seen.
Coin-flip: he will sometimes be unbelievably gentle in bed. Doting and affectionate, taking perfect care of you. Like, it’s baffling. There’s no warning, the switch just flips. When you want him to be extra-rough and mean, he’ll sweetly worship you instead. For hours.
Bonus: he likes being penetrated. But of course he’s got a complex about that too. Super intense power bottom. You will never fuck him hard enough. He’d like to see you try. Hit his prostate just right and he might literally explode.
You'll live happily ever after but he will say he loves you out loud exactly once. Maybe. If you're lucky. And you're both about to die.

Headcanons for Tamaki, Bakugou and Eraserhead being in a relationship with dom! black reader
a/n: hi guys, I’m so happy and so grateful for all the follows and notes you guys have given me over the past few days💜. I’m working on a part 2 of ‘Party for One’ but here’s some headcannons I made for the meantime.
Amajiki Tamaki
Tamaki has always been more submissive in general. He tended to be a pushover at times which makes it easier for people to mess with him, which makes his anxiousness skyrocket at times.
That was until he met you. You became friends with him after he graduated high school, fresh faced and promoted at his hero agency. You caught his eye the first day he came to work at his new office and stuck with him finding his shyness adorable but also helping him improve in his confidence.
He was entranced by your beauty, the way your tiny afro smelled like (favourite scent) when you walked by him, your lovely voice greeting him every morning, the way your vibrant melanin-filled skin contrasts with his paleness; your constant presence made him develop a crush on you but he never had the confidence to tell you to your face.
You of course weren’t aware of his little crush and his jumpiness and nervousness with you because you thought it was just his normal anxiety. It wasn’t until you overheard him talking to his friend and co-worker, Fatgum that you realized what it really was.
After that you actively sought out Tamaki just to see him be so flustered by your presence 😏 but after a while you had pity on the poor boy and asked him out for coffee and it all went uphill from there.
Loves buying you flowers and dropping them at your desk before you come into work every morning. Seeing your face light up as you read the little notes he leaves you makes the butterflies in his stomach flutter. He just loves seeing you smile in general this man is so whipped😩
He asked you to move in together after the first 4 months of dating and although you disagreed at the time, after your 6 months anniversary and him basically pleading about it every 5 mins, you finally gave in cause how could you say no to that face🥺
Tumblr media
NSFW below
As soon as you officially moved in with him, Tamaki before more affectionate... way more affectionate. Cuddles, kisses, squeezes; everything he could to show you how physically attracted he was to you.
The topic of sex comes up one day when you’re both on the couch, you on his lap and him trailing kisses down your neck. You’ve never gone past steamy make out sessions with eachother but it was clear that you both were very much ready to take the next step
Despite his shy demeanor, Tamaki is way more confident as well as loud in the bedroom. Loud whimpers as you trail your nails down his abs which turn into loud moans as you free his cock from his briefs giving him the best handjobs he’s ever gotten.
Tamaki sometimes does feel insecure about your relationship and about you having to have asked him out first, so he tends to overcompensate in the bedroom. This man is a huge power top. He loves making you feel good, he loves you telling him what to do and will do anything you ask with no hesitation.
Could eat you out for breakfast everyday if he could and definitely incorporates his quirk into it👀. Loves when you trap his head between your thighs it makes him feel warm. He loves when you tie him to the bed and edge him for hours on end while kissing his pretty tears away. He gets off on being vulnerable with you like that and has the most mind blowing orgasms once you decide to take pity on him.
Loves when you sit in his lap and let him suckle on your nipples while caressing his hair. Soft moments like that are what make him fall in love with you even more. Pegging also makes him fall in love with you even more, but more in a sexual manner. Looks at you like a goddess whenever you have his legs spread out, driving your strap-on into him so hard it makes his eyes cross.
Aftercare is so soft and private with you two. Untying his limbs from the bed, putting ointment and kisses on his bruises, cleaning him up with a wet rag and finally laying next to him on the bed, his face in your chest as you whisper praises and sweet nothings into his hair. God he was going to marry you one day.
Bakugou Katsuki
Bakugou met you while in U.A High but didn’t start dating you until almost 3 years after graduation You had never interacted that much in high school as you always saw him as the immature, rash and not considerate of others feelings
He gave off an air of someone commanding and who would never submit and you had never really cared for such men; the macho ‘call-me-daddy’ type men he actually did jokingly tell you to once when you guys were arguing which just made you steer clear of him more, angering him further.
After graduating, Bakugou became more mature, choosing to develop himself into a better person than he was in high school, and became the no 2 hero of Japan, creating his own hero agency. You started working at his agency 2 years after graduation, you also steadily climbing the ranks of the hero world landing in the top ten heroes list. He began harbouring a crush on you soon after, looking for ways to finally confess to you but were still adamant on avoiding him, still believing him to be the same immature boy that he was in highschool.
One day, Bakugou couldn’t take it anymore and cornered you in a hallway, confessing quickly while a light blush was dusted on his cheeks. He also apologized for the way he acted in highschool and basically pleaded to go on a date with you although he’ll never admit it lol
After his confession, you both started hanging out more both at work and outside of work. He officially asked you to be his girlfriend after the third date when he came to your apartment to cook your favourite dish for you after a grueling day at work and you happily agreed as long as he promised to continue cooking for you which led to you two moving in together a year later.
Dating the number 2 hero in Japan was not easy to say the least. Late night and early mornings plagued both of your lives, sometimes not being able to catch eachother at home at the same time for weeks on end. This led to arguments that turned into silent treatments until you both came to your senses and apologized to one another. He hates fighting with you, fearing you’ll leave him due to his occasional outbursts.
When you guys do fight, he apologizes through gift giving and cuddles, since he’s not very good with words. Loves buying you brightly coloured clothes and jewelry that matches your skin tone because you look ethereal to him in them. Sometimes steals glances at you just to admire your skin and whatever protective style you’re wearing.
Tumblr media
NSFW below
You and Bakugou had a long talk before you both started getting intimate. Although he was more mature, he still didn’t want to be submissive in the bedroom as he thought it would make him less ‘masculine’. He kept refusing until you managed to wear him down one day, him grumbling about how stupid it would be.
Oh how wrong he was because this man thrives off of your dominance now. A bratty power bottom, he loves making you put him in his place, which is always under you. Something about you having the confidence to ‘dominate’ the number 2 hero in Japan makes him melt. Is very much into cock and ball torture and just humiliation and degradation in general. Loves seeing you in leather cause it gives you that dominatrix look that makes him whimper
Very teary eyed when getting pegged and loves when you grab his hair to pull him back and lick his tears away. But at the same time, loves when you mercilessly keep pounding into him despite his tears, choking back a sob as he orgasms for the umpteenth time.
Is the type of sub that looks like a dom out in public but has a vibrating buttplug inside him during meetings as he glances to you as you smirk and turn up the intensity every few seconds.
The biggest brat ever omg he will rile you up on purpose just so that you can punish him by locking him in a chastisy cage and riding his favourite strap on you put on him, all while denying him the pleasure of touching you. That’s when he begs the most, mind dumb and babbling nonsense until you finally let his pretty little cock out.
Aftercare is in equal parts for both of you as sometimes you get dom drop after long sessions. He knows that it can make you feel guilty o sometimes regretful and makes sure to tell you how much he loves you after every session. You also reassure him that he is more than enough for you, limbs tangled together in bed as you doze off next to him.
His lips curl into a little smile as he falls asleep as well, thinking of you and the engagement ring he’s yet to give you in his bedside drawer.
Shota Aizawa
Aizawa had never actively looked for people to date. He felt like he had too much on his plate already with class 1-A and didn’t think anyone would be willing to date someone whose life was so hectic. So when you joined U.A as a new teacher in class in class 1-B, he didn’t bat an eye only glancing at you at times as you pass the hallway.
Glances turned into stares which turned into thinking about you and how your mini twists framed your face so perfectly and how soft your skin looked and how your darks eyes drew him in and-
 Fuck
Ok so maybe he did have space on his plate for dating cause duh look at you.  He asked you out by whispering in your ear during homeroom one day as he dropped off a stack of papers on your desk. You were taken aback by his boldness but accepted nonetheless. You didn’t know it, but Aizawa had fallen for you long before he got the balls to ask you out😏
You dated for 3 years and lived together after 2 until you walked into the kitchen one morning and saw him on one knee, flowers petals everywhere and a small smile as he asks “Marry me?” You didn’t know whether to laugh or cry oh to be proposed to by Shota Aizawa😭
He loves referring to you as his wife and loves when you come to 1-A to give him his bento box, even though he acts like he hates it. Let’s you in his sleeping bag for a nap in the break room, even though Present Mic comes in to annoy both of you most of the time.
Melts when he sees you interacting with the kids in 1-A, even heard Deku slip up and call you mom once when you came to his class to greet him.
Tumblr media
 Nsfw below
Speaking of kids guess who has a big fat breeding kink. Even though you both know you’re not exactly prepared to have kids at the moment, the risk that comes with him making love to you raw turns him on. You definitely exploit his kink by telling degrading him, saying how he doesn’t deserve to cum inside you with his useless cock and that just makes him want to prove you wrong, rutting into you faster as he whimpers about making you feel good.
Loves when you take him from behind and bend him on a surface and fucking him like a little whore, scarf stuffed into his mouth as a make-shift gag when he gets too loud. Especially when you do it on one of the desks in his classroom after hours, the embarrassment of a seeing a student sitting on it the next day making his brain fog and his cum leak out, painting the floor and the desk white as he spasms in your hold, tongue lolling out as you press him to the floor to clean up his mess.
Is into somnophilia and has woken up many times to you bouncing on his cock, refusing to let him cum until you’re satisfied with the amount of orgasms he’s given you.
Has definitely sniffed your panties before, even pocketing them into his dress pants and taking them to work with him, all so he can use them to fist his cock in the staff restrooms, panting like a dog in heat as sobs your name into his hand, secretly wanting to get caught by you.
He loves your aftercare so much. Running baths for both of you, kissing the hickeys and scratches you left on him and letting him lay in your arms when his body gives out. Genuinely loves pushing past his limits with you because he knows he trusts you.
Definitely the best husband and the best lover ever 10/10 would recommend.

(bursts in like the Kool-Aid Man) I HEARD YOU WANTED AIZAWA AND FATGUM PROMPTS! Ok but seriously I love the idea of either of them seeing their S/O being kind and parental to their "kids" (Shinsou, Eri, and all of 1-A for Aizawa; Kirishima and Tamaki for Fatgum) and having the sudden realization of "oh fuck I love them so much???? Do I want to marry them??? Raise kids together??? Shit I'm in too deep"
YES YEEEEEESSSSSS OOOOO this is very good I like this very much, in headcannon format but long as hell lmao LETS GOOOOOOOO
Yeesh the balance is off here lmao my love towards Aizawa is showing 🖤🙈
Warnings: soft Aizawa and Fatgum, they love you very much.
Tumblr media
- Both of you met while on a mission, standard villain holding hostages situation. You were in the business for a while at that point and were well known for your caring nature and acting motherly towards others.
- At that point he had a vague idea of who you were, but didn’t pay much attention until he found himself in trouble. He had been cornered by multiple villains and was in a tough situation that would be difficult to get out of alone. You noticed this while some of the villains attempted to cut off Aizawa’s arms.
- You jumped in with a shield protecting him as you used it to push back the villains and hold them while he wrapped them with his scarf. From then on he paid more attention to you.
- After the mission you asked him how he was doing and took notice of injuries he sustained and healed them. This led to a lengthy conversation and eventually you both talked more over dinner.
- That was around 4 years ago, Aizawa was still a teacher then, but because he expelled his students so often you never interacted with them much. So you can imagine how surprised you were when you came to greet him on a work day and saw a full classroom of students.
- Of course they all wondered who you were so you explained you were a Pro-Hero, but didn’t give any more details. Aizawa valued his privacy and you respected that.
- So that leads to you coming more and more to his class and helping him with the students when they get too rowdy, they’ve become somewhat of your kids if you were being honest.
- They would talk to you because Aizawa definitely wasn’t the best person to talk to about feelings, if dating him for 4 years has taught you anything it’s that his love language is physical touch and silent affection. He wouldn’t talk to you about your feelings but he will get you coffee at 3 am.
- It was another day where you decided to drop in to his class and see how they were doing with their training. As usual the class greeted you and you watched as they worked on their ultimate moves once again.
- Bakugou ever the walking time bomb, blew up boulders that headed towards the direction of Jirou and you went into action quicker than anyone else. Making a shield around her and holding back the debris as she looked in shock, as did everyone else.
- Moving the wreckage out of the way you immediately crouched down to Jirou and checked her for any injuries, after making sure she was fine you made your way to any other students that may be injured and helped them out.
- Aizawa was scolding Bakugou about being more careful with his quirk as he noticed you holding Kirishima’s face and softy healing some injuries from running through rock walls.
- His face softened before he hardened so that no other students would notice.
- ‘They would make a great parent— wait a minute.’
- Aizawa couldn’t believe his thoughts, he already had 21 kids, physically he probably couldn’t handle more.
- This didn’t stopped him from paying more attention to the way you interacted with the students, especially Todoroki. Lord knows he needed a parental figure in his life and you took that role with excitement, you would offer him advice and a place to stay if he didn’t want to be at home. You had a separate home from Aizawa in case you needed to lay low.
- You would also feed him and be there for him when he had mental breakdowns and just needed someone to care for him. You really helped him get out of his shell and talk more about the problems he faced.
- Once everyone moved to the dorms, it was necessary for the teachers to move in to a separate housing as well. Not with the students, but far enough away that they would still be there if there were emergencies.
- With that in mind, the students went to you more and more if they needed anything or just wanted to talk. This never stopped you from caring  for them and making meals for them, as well as just treating them like normal kids. Not heroes in training, not enhanced kids, just normal kids doing normal activities.
- The feelings grew more when he started training Shinsou, if possible you became more parental like and offering assistance and healing when needed. You still maintained a mentor-like responsibility but that didn’t stop you from taking Shinsou to get the necessary equipment with his parents permission and giving him meals to help him get stronger. He and Todoroki could often be seen trailing behind you like ducklings and doing whatever you needed or just sticking by you. The same went for the other students.
- They had their ways of coming to you for assistance and showing affection, you found it adorable, Aizawa found himself falling more and more in love with you and built his feelings towards you becoming an actual parent with him.
- Those same feelings grew tenfold once Eri came along, she became a daughter to you both, as much as Aizawa didn’t want to admit it.
- When she woke up panicking at night you both would take turns calming her down and you would often hum songs from Disney to help her go back to sleep.
- Aizawa’s thoughts delved deeper and deeper and he fell more and more in love with you with each passing day. He wanted to marry you and raise kids together, raise Eri together. The thought kind of scared him, but it also excited him.
-  ‘I’m definitely in way too deep,’ he thought as he looked at you playing with Eri and Shinsou, one of his few days off training and he was spending that time with you and Eri, his self-proclaimed little sister, ‘but I wouldn’t change this for the world.’
- He spent time with you all day and with the kids thinking of how he was going to ask you to marry him and adopt Eri. He’ll stress over that another day, for now he was content being with all of you.
Tumblr media
- What else to start with but that this man is in love with you. He first landed eyes on you when you had been at the same restaurant during a break in your rounds. You both ordered the same thing and he struck up a conversation. At that point he didn’t know you were a Pro, your suit could shrink into a wrist watch, you figured if you passed as a citizen it would make it easier to find villains.
- He then got to know you better over the course of that short meal, a villain decided to interrupt your lovely conversation (it was about his favorite meal, very interesting actually) and you slapped your watch pulling out a glove that you used to blast the villain away. With the help of FatGum you both apprehended him and handed him over to the police.
- This lead to him finding out you were a Pro and you both left together as you put on your suit that you made yourself. Eventually you both got closer and you could be seen at his agency more often than not. You would work with some of his sidekicks with their costumes if they needed any help with technical issues or just improve them overall.
- He eventually asked you out and you started dating from then on. It was wonderful and he would see how you cared for others and treat them with kindness (unless they were asking for a fight then you would end it).
- It was at this time he started to take on a high schooler as his sidekick, his name was Tamaki Amajiki and he was a very nervous boy. Poor thing had some serious anxiety which you 100000% understand. This business was hard and to maintain a good public image was hard as the citizens would criticize everything you do. This was a big fear to him as some would call him a nervous wreck and it didn’t help him.
- It was at this point that you decided to treat him to food and offer him some assistance with his anxiety, he learned to depend on you if he was feeling too overwhelmed and you would take him away to get his bearings. He came to see you as a parental figure and would confide in you.
- This filled FatGum’s heart with glee to see his significant other and one of his sidekicks that he saw as his own kid get along so well. The feelings only grew once Kirishima joined FatGum’s agency. He was sunshine and you loved him so much.
- You would take the time to help him with training with your inventions as well as Tamaki. You always made sure to make all of them meals and give them food that would help them stay healthy and in the best shape.
- Poor FatGum’s heart couldn’t take it, he was so happy to see you be a parental figure to these boys. He thought of them as his own kids and to see you extend that same feeling to them just made him so so happy and he loved to be with all of you unless he was busy.
- He fell more and more in love with you each day and he honestly planned on marrying you, with how hectic both of your lives were at the moment, he could wait, so for now he was happy with the little family that had been made.

Series Description:
It is well-known that St. Angela’s Preparatory School is the maddest, baddest boarding school for girls in the whole city— perhaps the whole world. It is also well known that St. Angela’s only rival in size and scope is the (in)famous U.A., the top hero school in the nation. However, mysterious rumors surround St. Angela’s— sinister, arcane, mostly-true rumors, rumors that have made the school many enemies over the years— and as a result, it often falls on U.A. to renew the public’s faith in its ability to contain and control the little witches of St. Angela’s.
In the grand scheme of things, however, Bakugou has a hard time figuring out what the big deal is until he meets (Y/N)— a young woman with impossible powers and the ability to make him feel more vulnerable than he's ever felt in his life. She is everything he's never known he always wanted, but when a cruel twist of fate makes them rivals too soon and friends too late, he learns a hard lesson that will stick with him for a very, very long time.
Don't play with magic, kids. It's a real killer.
Prologue
St. Angela's Preparatory School was under heavy scrutiny by the public.
For what, Aizawa couldn't have said— it could be any number of things, if the gossips were to be believed— but he surely wished he knew when he was called into the principal's office to discuss the much-debated topic of Whether Or Not U.A. Boys Can Handle St. Angela's Girls In A Sporting Event Of Choice.
What sexist bullshit.
"Let me get this straight," said Aizawa from behind his binding cloth. "You want U.A. boys— specifically the boys from my class— to go up against the top class of St. Angela girls because, and I quote, 'they're a menace to society and the public would feel safer knowing that they can be put in their place'? Did I get that right at all?"
Nezu shrugged, looking somehow less perturbed than a reasonable mouse should at Aizawa's implied disdain.
"It's not a matter of what I want," he said, twitching his whiskers. "The public demands it. It was going to happen eventually, especially after the memorial statue scandal."
Aizawa scowled. One tiny case of public property damage hardly made St. Angela's student body a menace, and it wasn't like it was unwarranted property damage. In Aizawa's opinion, those kids had every right to protest— after all, trans girls are girls and should be allowed into an all-girl school on the merits of "Here's the tuition money and yes I'm a girl (because I said so and it's a weird fucking thing to lie about if I weren't)"— and, really, the so-called damage was really an improvement. As far as Aizawa was concerned, those statues looked much better headless, crotchless, and (in some cases) spray painted anyway.
"This is ridiculous," Aizawa grumbled. "If it had been a group of U.A students, they would have been called 'social justice activists' and would probably have gotten medals for that kind of protest."
"But they were not U.A. students," Nezu said gently, "And you know what they say about St. Angela's."
Aizawa folded his arms, knowing full well what his boss was referring to— but he wanted Nezu to say it aloud so that he could hear how ridiculous it sounded.
"No, I don't, actually," he replied testily. "What exactly do they say about St. Angela's? What are you so afraid of?"
Nezu's expression hardened— as much as a mouse's expression can harden, anyway— and fixed Aizawa with a withering look.
"They say that those girls dabble in witchcraft and the dark arts," the principal replied chidingly. "Nasty, arcane doings that break the laws of nature itself—"
"Quirks break the laws of nature itself—" Aizawa interjected curtly, but Nezu would not be interrupted.
"— they want power, Aizawa, more than they already have, and that scares people."
"Powerful women usually do," said Aizawa, "But you can't expect U.A.'s students to act as a security blanket for this. Worst case scenario, let's say the rumors are true— what then? We let them hurt our students with their 'arcane powers'? And why specifically male students? It doesn't make sense."
Nezu shrugged. "Because female U.A. students are eligible for recruitment by St. Angela's. Males are not."
Aizawa's scowl deepened. "This is bullshit."
Nezu shrugged once more.
"Perhaps it is— but you're U.A.'s liaison for the event, so you'd better start building a tolerance to it. I need someone competent here, Shota. You're the only one I trust to handle this with dignity, grace, and discretion."
Aizawa sighed. To argue further would be a moot point. Of course, he could refuse the position and insist that some other poor sonofabitch take his place, but then if they botched it, Aizawa would feel guilty. Best to just bite the bullet and eat the shit sandwich that he'd just been served, he supposed.
"Fine. When do I start?"
Nezu cracked a wry grin.
"Now. Here's the paperwork. I'll need it by Monday."
Aizawa didn't bother hiding his groan.

DON'T
WARNING: Angst, Bakusquad boys being assholes, violence, bullying, cursing, toxicity
A/N: 3rd person view, this is the first of a few one-shots to come, that will be improved versions of my old imagines on my Wattpad!
'Another day at my most favourite place, UA Hero Academy!' You thought sarcastically
Better known as another day of bullshit you have to endure...
You still don't have a clue how you made it through two years of this already, but it's not like it matters, as long as you are in one piece!
Your time here has been..eventful? Well that's that's one way to put it, for lack of a better word
You are walking to the cafeteria alone as per usual, praying you won't be noticed by them. Unfortunately they are already there, waiting for you to show up, like animals waiting patiently to pounce on their prey and even though the place is packed with students of all classes and departments, they somehow still spot you in the sea of people!
"Awww there she is!" Kaminari mocked using a 'cute' tone and grabbing you by the arm to bring you in the middle of the group
"You made us wait today, not manly at all!" Kirishima feigned sadness and hurt, placing a hand on his chest
"Don't be so hard on her guys. Maybe she forgot where we were meeting" Sero cooed, cupping your face with one hand and applying pressure
The look in his eyes made you uneasy, because you know exactly what is going to happen next. You've gotten used to it by now
"Today has been sooo boring" Kaminari complained
"But that's why Y/N is here man! To make our day better!" Kirishima cheers, balling up his fists and doing his signature pose
To anyone watching you, this seemed like nothing but a normal conversation, but you know better..
"You better get out of here, you damn idiots" Bakugou's voice grumbled from behind you
The words almost filled you with hope, making you momentarily forget who spoke them in the first place and making you feel like a fool for thinking that way
Bakugou was like a leading figure to these guys, so why would he put you above his friends?
If anything, he is only scolding them because there's too many eyes around and they don't want witnesses!
That thought leaves a bitter taste in your mouth. This is the next generation of heroes? It's just so hard to believe.. it's truly appalling!
Bakugou stayed behind 'most likely to avoid suspicion' you figured
The rest of the boys drag you outside, to a spot you have grown familiar with ever since you were a freshman. It's beside the main building, a place typically void of students or teachers!
They chose this place because they know they won't get in trouble, since this is also a blind spot for the cameras in this area!
Kirishima shoves you to the ground, which Sero takes as a sign to bind your hands and tape your mouth shut, so they can start playing their favourite game with you
A game they like to call "How long until Y/N breaks"
It doesn't take long for the first kick to fly straight to your abdomen, followed by another and a few more..they add a few punches here and there to switch up the pattern
They don't want this to get boring too quickly, of course not! They want to have fun with it..because this is their sick idea of 'fun'!
Kirishima rips the tape from your mouth, since it was starting to peal off with all the blood and spit that had started coating it!
You feel weak, you can't even activate you fucking quirk to try and defend youself! Everything hurts, but what the fuck can you really do at this point?
Hopelessness, defeat, they managed to beat into you, all the things you hate being! They have driven you to a point where you hate yourself, because of what they made you!
'How am I supposed to be a hero, if I can't even save my damn self?'
'I don't stand a chance against them anyway, they have made that very clear, since the first day we met and every time after that'
"Please stop!" You plead over and over, but there is no use however
"Why do you keep doing this?" You let out a pained cry, but the only response you get is in the form of more hits
They are treating you like a sand bag and you don't even know why. You wonder what you could have done to them to deserve this
At some point they stop and a wave of relief washes over you as you think this nightmare is finally coming to an end.
That illusion completely shatters when you hear the voice of someone you know all-too-well and realize why they stopped to begin with, but you don't have time to process anything else, because Bakugou knocks you out!
•••
Your eyes flutter open, the first thing you see being your boyfriend of nearly a year, Bakugou Katsuki!
You take in your surroundings and sit up.
'Was I brought to Recovery Girl?' You question yourself, as your right hand comes up to your head, due to a pounding headache
"Baby are you alright?" He asked, reaching his hand out to touch your cheek
"Don't" Your tone coming off quite threatening, while your fragile figure tries to get up
Your knees give out and Bakugou is quick to catch you and hold you up!
"I'm sorry baby!" He repeats the same words you've been hearing since you first started dating!
"Get the fuck off of me! Let go!" You demand, clawing at his exposed arms in an attempt to squirm out of his grip
He let's go of you and you get yourself back on the bed
He looks at you with so much sorrow in his crimson eyes, but all that does is vex you further, makes you hate him! You can't stand to even look at him anymore!
The sight of his face makes your stomach twist, his presence alone causing your blood to boil and your knuckles to ache for some action!
You're barely able to hold back right now, because looking at him has suddenly become a reminder of an agreement he convinced you to make..
His lips part, but before he can utter another disgusting, half-assed apology, you shut him up!
"No more apologies Katsuki, no more fucking lies, I don't wanna hear it anymore! I've really had enough! I just can't take it!" You stated in an ice-cold manner
"I'm sorry ok?! I couldn't do anything, it's not up to me, I can't tell them what to do! Yes, they look up to me, but I can't control them!"
Can he not hear what bullshit is coming out of him mouth? Can he not hear himself right now?
This is the only thing going through your head at the moment
"I can't stop all of a sudden, they can't know we're dating!" Katsuki says, directing his gaze to the floor
"What the fuck is wrong with you?" Without a second thought your hand makes contact with his cheek, the smack echoing throughout the room
A visible, red patch in the shape of your palm forms, as he lifts his head up to meet your burning gaze once more. His expression holds complete and utter disbelief!
"You said that once we got together this would stop, you promised, but it seems like you don't want it to stop! Are you enjoying it Bakugou? Do you get off at the sight of me breaking?" You asked , well aware of the fact that you're not ready for his answer, but wanting to hear it nevertheless
"I swear I will talk to them, I just need a little more time and then-!" You cut his rambling short
"It's always the same shit with you! Spewing fake promises! This time it won't work Bakugou, I don't have the strength to do this anymore! And I don't want to waste my love and time on someone who beats me so people don't associate me with him, someone who goes to this extent so he won't be seen with me!" You confess
"I'll chan-"
"Don't say it, because it's not true and you know that! You always tell me you'll change, but you don't even try!"
"I don't enjoy seeing you in pain, I just can't stop! I've been doing this for so long, I don't know how to be anything else. But I never meant to hurt you!" He finally answered your question
"If you don't want to hurt me, you'll leave me alone! I want to be away from this so called 'relationship', it's not healthy! I need a break!" You reason
"It's not a break if you never come back to me..it's a break up!" He lowers his head once more, hair falling over his eyes, as he speaks calmly
"Come back to you? As if" You scoff, laughing out
He doesn't dare speak, he is simply staring at you, with shocked, red orbs!
"You should have stayed with the League of Villains when you had the chance! That's where 'heroes' like you belong!" You eyes shoot daggers at him,
"Now get the fuck out, you Sludge-Bastard!" You demand, using the name he hates even more than the one Midoriya calls him
He is in tears, as he leaves the school's infirmary
It isn't so much because things ended between you as it is the weight of your words!
Bakugou processes what just happened, wearing a blank expression, while he walks through the halls of UA, tears still streaming freely!
Seems like he put a lot of thought into what you told him, because the next thing you know, a new villian makes his debut

Evolution on Todomomo (and how its not as a bad as alot of people in the fandom are making it out to be)
Now I’ve been meaning to make a post in defense of Todomomo because from what I see on bnha twt a lot of people just resort to calling the two of them “boring” or making claims that Momo is a lesbian and Shouto as gay (which are fine to head canon if they are a comfort for you) but in the context that most people use to hate on todomomo I see this being used as a way to dismiss the pair
I first want to link this tumblr post that list some of the todomomo moments (whether they are subtle or moments that mean alot more then what mets the eye)
https://mysterylover123.tumblr.com/post/184164201991/top-todomomo-moments
Todoroki and Momo both got in to U.A by recommendations:
I know that this dosen’t really mean alot in terms of a moment but its just something I wanted to point out in terms of a similarity. Being taken in by recommendations is a huge thing as it shows the audience that both of their skill levels have already been observed by U.A.
Importance of Todoroki praising Momo during the Final Exams:
With this topic I feel that those who tend to claim that the ship is “boring” or just wouldn’t make sense in canon fail to see the significance of that moment. I have to say that I am a bit surprised that alot of the hate comes from Shouto stans. The reason I say this is because that moment of recognition on Momo’s end wasn’t only a benefit for her character (since she finally heard someone tell her that they trust her and believe in her) but Shouto’s as well (since that moment was the first time that the audience saw Shouto taking what he learned from Midoriya at the sports festival about seeing the best in others and using that to help someone else).
For Shouto’s character something such as being able to help others is big for his character since the Final exams arc came in the second season. In specific he told her that he voted for her whenever the class was doing the class representative elections because “I thought you were good at that sort of thing.” that scene showed the audience that Shouto has some admiration for her and that he was one of the only students to analyze Momo’s self confidence issue and try and help her. Because of his honesty she was able to bounce back and find a way for the two of them to beat Aizawa during their final exams
Also going further back from the final exams arc we had a subtle todomomo indication and that was when she was picked to be on Todoroki’s calvary team (that moment showcased Shouto recognizing the strength that Yaoyorozu had hence why he picked her to be on his team) Sure he could have chosen anyone else instead of her but something small and barely much to look into detail will always be a form of foreshadowing on whats to come for later.
Tumblr media
But Deku and Bakugou have more growth with Shouto:
I’ve heard this reasoning many times as well (which no one can deny the importance that Bakugou and Midoriya have in Shouto’s life). Midoriya even emphasis that Shouto is “his friend.” and this might just be me being a bit peeved but its a bit hypocritical whenever Todomomo shippers will just enjoy their moment in the final exams arc and antis will make the “but they only had one moment.” counter argument even though no one says anything when it comes to Midoriya calling Shouto a friend (which isn’t meant in a romantic sense).
Now considering that Midoriya is the main character of the series it makes a lot of sense for him to be involved in Shouto’s character arc (which is about the unveiling of his family).
I truly wonder where the whole “Bakugou had more growth with Shouto.” argument came into play. From what we know about their bond in canon they bicker and banter (showcasing a playful bond that makes the audience smile) which is a good thing but we never really see the characters either break the others walls to learn more about them or influence each other and make each other stronger. So when I see people compare this to todomomo I kind of just sigh. Sure Todomomo might have less moments then that pair but what Shouto has done to help Momo’s self confidence has carried with her from that point onward in the story. We now see Momo creating plans and being much more confident in herself (I mean when she created the sedative to make Machia go to sleep she showed a side to herself that Shouto already saw in her).
In the case of Midoriya and Todoroki’s bond that same method of helping others has been applied to Shouto’s character during the Sports festival where he tells him that his power “is his not his fathers.” which knowing Izuku thats the kind of person that he is; as a audience we are able to see that he is kind in nature and is known for creating bonds. That moment is truly important for Shouto as a character (which i’m glad the fandom dosen’t tear apart) So my question is for those who stan Shouto is if you are able to accept Izuku’s kind nature of helping Shouto why must Shouto’s moment of helping Yaoyorozu be swept under the rug and just referred to as “boring.”
I mean if anyone truly looked at the final exams moment and only thought that it benefited Yaoyorozu then you skipped over some of the subtle hints Horikoshi has been putting into their dynamic. Yes; it helped Yaoyorozu as a character believe in herself and to trust her decision making but at the same time it showed us that Shouto is perceptive and can give good advice when needed (as well as thinking more about others instead of what he did pre sports festival).
Kamino Ward arc:
During this arc whenever Bakugou was captured. Trust was built between the two character as Momo tells both Kirishima and Todoroki that she “trusted todoroki” hence her involvement in helping them find their friends. At first she was reluctant but agreed when the two boys asked her.
Provisional License exams:
Small subtle moment that Hori put in their is whenever the audience saw Midoriya worried for Shouto (since he ended up failing the exams) we got to see Momo’s expression of worry as well. I know this dosen’t mean much but alot of the Todomomo moments that we do get are subtle like that. Even a small facial expression will mean something in the long run.
Two Heroes:
Again, another small moment of Todoroki using his ice to get everyone to leave the area while he fought some of the movie villains and Momo calling out his name in worry (its a common trope to have one person stay behind while the other is hesitant on leaving them) I am aware that this movie was more Bones heavy rather then Horikoshi but I don’t believe the studio would try any subtle hints of anything unless Horikoshi might of told them something regarding the pair.
Pro Hero Arc:
Like the Two Heroes Todomomo moment we also see Momo look over to Todoroki in worry (as well as the rest of the class) but seeing almost 3 moments where she is present and worried for him whenever Todoroki is either in some emotional state or just focused on something isn’t just for show. Horkoshi could have easily left her out but he wants the audience to see that Todoroki and Momo will have more conversations in the near future.
Joint Training:
In this arc Todoroki makes small comments during Kendo vs Yaoyorozu
"If Kendo separated Yaoyorozu from her team out of caution, then I think she's misjudged her."
"If she actually wanted to be cautious of Yaoyorozu, she should have crushed her 4 on 1 with her entire team's power right from the outset."
With these lines he show the audience how perceptive he is about the fight and shows some interest towards it. Shouto also believes in her abilities by making that first statement on Kendo misjudging Momo. However when Yaoyorozu lost to Kendo he comments
"...I hope she doesn't get all discouraged again."
Again he shows worry for her as he has already seen her doubts come full circle during the Final Exams arc. It also shows the significance that arc was for his relationship with Momo. He shows concern for her and dosen’t want her to feel discouraged over her loss against Kendo (despite the improvement she has shown us since that arc Shouto still holds a level of care for her).
So to only make claims such as “todomomo only had one moment” that character defined moment wasn’t swept under the rug as we have seen Momo’s insecurities being brought up again by Shouto (who might I add is the only student to know the full extent of them).
Drama CD: Ennichi Festival:
In this drama cd we had Todoroki and Momo spend the night together at the festival that they were at and Shouto opens up about his family to her. In this drama cd he felt like he was bothering her with all this info and Momo is the one to reassure him that he isn’t and that he should be more open about his feelings. Again a moment like this is good for Shouto since he is well known for keeping his feelings to himself (for him to have that type of reassurance would allow him to be more comfortable in his own skin).
You could say in a way that their roles were reversed from how they acted in the Final Exams with this time Shouto showing a bit of insecurity and uncertainty while Momo initiates a method to help him.

Hey Kat🤗 I was wondering if you could write about Bakugou, Shinsou, or Hawks meeting the reader’s family and something goes wrong and they don’t like them at first. Or possibly the parents think they are a negative influence on the reader.
Hey hey hey
I asked my mom how she’d react if I was dating someone she didn't like and she rlly just said “you wouldn’t be dating them if i didn’t like them”
like damn sis okay chile
Warnings: does it count as angst if the parents are the ones being mean? if so, there’s angst, but also fluff, bakugou is bakugou
---
💥 Katsuki Bakugou:
It wasn’t the best first meeting. You had planned to introduce your long term boyfriend to your family at your own pace, but of course the villains of the city had other plans.
You were on a date, en route to the cinema to catch a new movie amidst Bakugou’s insistence that it was a ‘stupid unrealistic movie’. Mere metres from the entrance a villain came rushing past, a handful of gold jewelry in his arms. He pushed you to the side in order to keep running, which of course enraged Bakugou, who immediately took off after the villain, completely oblivious to the sirens following his path.
Unsurprisingly he caught him within moments, but what you hadn’t realized was that all the events had been caught by your dad, standing on the other side of the street. Your dad knew you had a partner, and he knew that they were a hero, given you cancelled every opportunity to meet with the excuse of ‘another villain attack’. What he hadn't expected, however, was for your partner to be possibly his least favorite hero currently climbing the ranks.
Later that night, after your forfeit on the movie date in favour of a much more simple date with your bed, you had a series of texts from your parents.
So, Ground Zero is the partner we’ve heard so little about?
He’s a bit aggressive, isn’t he?
You should’ve told us sooner.
We just don’t want you getting hurt.
That had been the moment you were waiting for. Anyone who didn’t know Bakugou (and a few who did) would describe him as a never ending pool of anger, too aggressive to be a hero and too mean to be a good partner. But if they knew him the same way you did, they would know that’s not always the case.
Of course he’s angry when he has to deal with stupid villains interrupting every date he plans, or news reporters crowding him like an animal in a zoo whenever they got the chance. But he was different with you, more relaxed. He didn’t exactly express his emotions in the best ways, but he loved you, and he’d never hurt you.
Your parents practically demanded a meeting the next day, and blatantly refused to accept any excuses of villain attacks or the like. The meeting was awkward, with your father almost attempting to provoke Bakugou simply to prove a point, but your boyfriend knew this. He put on a good face, masking his worry and anger with an uncharacteristically kind attitude and baffling you all.
Maybe he’d changed his ways. Or at least, that was the conclusion your parents came to by the end of the night, wishing you well as you made your way home. You fought the urge to laugh at Bakugou’s sudden change once your parents left his view, and held back a smile throughout his mutterings of ‘stupid extras’.
He kept up appearances for long enough, but by the time your parents noticed it was a farce, they realized there was nothing they could do to stop the love you held for each other. After all, he may be an ass, but he’d never hurt you.

💜 Hitoshi Shinsou:
Shinsou, on the other hand, wanted to meet your family pretty quickly. If anything, just to get it out of the way, but there was a part of him that wanted the validation that he was good enough for you. Sometimes he just didn’t feel like he was, so if your parents liked him, it’d definitely be a weight off his shoulders.
The two of you picked out a nice restaurant, keeping in mind your parents favorite foods in an attempt to butter them up, then send them a text asking you to meet you and Shinsou for dinner. They replied eagerly, especially when you mentioned the two of you were covering the bill.
You arrived first, giving your name at the door and sitting down on the plush leather anxiously awaiting the arrival of your parents. When you finally saw them, the two of you stood up to greet them, you offering hugs while Shinsou held out his hand with a smile.
“It’s nice to meet you.” He said.
Your parents nodded, a false replica of a smile on their faces as they ignored Shinsou’s hand.
The air around you was thick, no one willing to be the first to break the uncomfortable silence, until you eventually suggested you all sit down. You made a mental note to tip your waiter extra when the night was over. It was clear they could sense the awkwardness, and thank the lord they came over at the exact moments you feared a bomb might explode.
The meals went down perfectly, but the atmosphere made it difficult to enjoy anything. Your parents spoke little, and when they did, it was always to you, almost as if Shinsou wasn’t even present.
To be truly honest, he’d expected this reaction, although he hoped he was just overthinking. He knew people didn’t react to his quirk well, and there were many misconceptions about how much he used it. He had hoped your parents hadn’t been so quick to judge.
By the time your waiter delivered your check, you were ready to curl up in your bed and not emerge for a good few weeks. The four of you walked to the door silently, but before you could wish them goodnight, Shinsou spoke up, his hand holding yours tightly as he faced your parents.
“I just want you to know, whether you like me or not, I love Y/n more than anything, and I would never do anything to hurt them. I will protect them until my last breath, and I hope that we can sort out any differences with time.”
Did he really just confess his love to you in front of your parents? Yup. Well, at least it seemed to get a response this time, as your dad replied:
“I should hope you do.” Your dad held out his hand, and Shinsou took it a bit more than happily. “Or I’ll kill you myself.”
Shinsou laughed awkwardly, not sure whether to be scared at your dad's threat or not, especially when he ended it without another word, turning and walking towards their car.
I mean at least he spoke to him, right? That’s an improvement?
Either way, Shinsou quickly realized in reality the only opinion that mattered to him, was yours.
oof having a good dad who cares about you? couldnt be me. also i absolutely hate this one and idk why, but shinsou’s my bby and i feel i disappointed him

🍗 Keigo Takami (Hawks):
The meeting was almost completely by chance. Keigo often took you on sky-high (not mile-high get your minds outta the gutters ppl) trips on his off days, and while flying one day, you saw your parents' house from the clouds. They hadn’t met Keigo yet, so you suggested that you pop in for a moment. He agreed, and in seconds, you were standing on their porch, hand raised high to ring the doorbell.
Your mother opened the door, surprised to see you, and even more surprised to see the bird standing behind you. Nevertheless she invited you both in, and as your father called Keigo over, your mother pulled you to one side, whispering quiet enough that the two men wouldn’t hear her.
“The news says he’s a bit of a playboy.” You said.
“The news says a lot of things.” You rolled your eyes.
“And his fans?” She asked.
“What about them?” You replied.
“Well,” she paused, “he can get a little friendly with them, don’t you think.”
You sighed. Your mother wasn’t the first person to bring up Keigo’s fans when discussing your relationship, but you knew that in reality, he couldn’t be bothered with the swarms of people throwing themselves at his feet when he had you waiting for him at home.
“He’s a friendly person.” You shrugged.
“You don’t really believe that, do you?”
“Just say what you want to, mom.” You rounded on her, the heightened volume of your voice drawing Keigo’s attention from the other side of the room. “Say it. Go on.”
She glanced around, seeing both Keigo and your father now watching the two of you.
“Fine.” You continued. “I know he has hundreds of fans who would kill to be in his bed at night. But you know what? He’s not there. He’s with me, watching crappy tv and binge eating kfc (CANNIBALISM). If you don’t like him, that’s your problem. But don’t try and convince me to do anything but love him, cause you’re not going to do it.”
Baffled, your mother stammered for a response, but you weren’t about to wait for one.
“C’mon Keigo,” you called, “we’re leaving.”
He was next to you in moments, and you grabbed his hand to pull him out of the house, stopping only when you were satisfied you were out of sight of your parents.
“So, kid…” He looked across at you with a smirk, wrapping an arm around your waist as he lay his chin on your shoulder. “You love me?”
“Shut up bird brain.”
again i hate this but where my baby birds at?

I’ve often said that it seems like a lot of the main pros below All Might seem to end up representing serious flaws in hero society; specifically the ones on the hero side of things. So as a fun little exercise I thought I’d go over all those main pros and what flaws they represent (should be easy, they’re usually their own personal character flaws). Maybe also give my assessment to what I think their chances of living to the end of the series are while I’m at it, since representing serious flaws in the old guard can be hazardous to your health if treated poorly.
Endeavor
Tumblr media
A man who needs no introduction if you’re any kind of HeroAca fan. love or hate him, everyone knows the new no.1.
Funnily enough, he’s actually the main exception to the rule we mentioned before about a pros’ character flaw being the flaw they thematically represent. See, his character flaw is that he focus so much on heroics, his career in heroics, or just his own general needs over his family; to the point that he only had a family to have children he could live vicariously though, and felt no obligation to love the ones he couldn’t live through. What he represents, is actually two-fold: 1) the toxicity of the ranking system which makes heroics so competitive and encourage heroes focus on some arbitrary number, and 2) the power heroes have that let them do horrible things and get away with it. They’re connected concepts, for sure, but not exactly synonymous.
And with that said, what are his chances of survival? Well, the ranking toxicity is out of his hands, but besides that...it can be hard to tell. He has, under semi-aggressive guidance of his family, publicly taken responsibility for the things he’s done and vowed to make up for it; which helps his chances considerably. But in that same scene he also said that the only way he can atone is to keep doing what he’s always done; beat up villains and at least 1 family member. It sends a mixed message. But in general; I want to say that he’s gotten enough development that he doesn’t feel set to fail his arc now. I’d be tempted to say his chances look pretty good...were it not for all the separate reasons I think he’s likely to die anyway. Oh well, no one’s situation can be perfect.
Hawks
Tumblr media
The controversial hero; Hawks!
I’ve summarized Hawks’ main flaw before as ‘hubris’, partially because he’s an Icarus figure so generalizing it like that feels clever, but it’s a bit more complex than that. Hawks main flaw isn’t so much pride as it is self-righteousness. Hawks represents the belief that everything is just right as it is, and the status quo must therefore be protected at all costs. A denial that the heroes he believes in have done anything wrong even after staring their mistakes in the face and spending months talking with those the heroes failed. In fact to contrast Endeavor’s line to the press; Hawks tried to excuse what he did as though it had to be done. That’s the opposite of promising.
With that said, what are his chances of survival? Well, I’d actually put him at 50/50 odds; since I see 2 endings for him, and it’s too early to tell which is more likely. See, while we’ve only got two instances of a “pattern,” Hawks seems like a guy who falls to the ground, recovers and gets back up, only to fall even further down because he never learns. So his two futures are either: A) To actually learn. Take a fall so hard that in the aftermath, he can’t convince himself he was right all along. Maybe he gets Endeavor killed, or does something to sever their relationship. Something that’d force him to self-reflect. B) To take a fall so hard it proves fatal; his mistakes catching up to him in a way that doesn’t give him a chance to self-reflect.
Best Jeanist
Tumblr media
Sir Long Neck McImagine Obsession himself.
Best Jeanist represents the self-interest in hero society can have over justice itself. Already known for being focused on superficial image; he’s dramatic reappearance revealed just how deep that went. For when it’s revealed by a villain that a hero has committed great crimes that ended up motivating that villain’s actions; Jeanist’s immediate concern was the damage this would do to the reputation of heroes. More than what kind of person he’s been working alongside, and even more than saving lives, Jeanist’s first thought went the wellbeing of the industry he works in and how bad they would collectively look to the public; that’s what he’s most angry at Dabi for.
Chances of survival are...maybe 40-50%? There’s no real leaning one way or another frankly, so that kind of feels like it’d put him at even odds for the exact opposite reason as Hawks. Will he live? Will he die? Who can say? Leaning just a bit towards death though, because again, representing flaws in the old guard can be hazardous to your health.
Mirko
Tumblr media
And here we have the violent one.
While I’m tempted to lump this one with Hawks, I actually think Ms.Mirko represents the heroes use of incredible violence best. See, Mirko is someone who really likes to beat people up, even once in a spin-off said Bakugou’s drive to murder was a good thing in a hero. And while she won’t even feel the need to kill like Hawks apparently did, her response to fighting the High End Nomu was something like “finally, some villains I get to just kill with no ethical issues, that makes things easy”. (Which, considering the High Ends are sentient is, um, hmm). Her love of violence borders on villainous, and she freely admits it is simple obligation that prevents her from crossing that boundary. It’s reminiscent of when Shigaraki pondered what the difference really was between heroes’ & villains’ violence. And, well, if it closes the gap in morality between heroes and villains, it’s going on this list.
Regarding her chances of survival, like Jeanist she’s not exactly defined enough to really say anything for sure or end up on any extreme end; I’ve no real reason to think she’s very likely live or die. That said; on the one hand she seems a bit more eagerly reveling in the flaw she represents, plus a blood knight getting back into the fight after sustaining heavy injuries is never a good sign. On the other hand, Horikoshi clearly likes her for reasons we won’t address here. I think I’m gonna average it out to 50%. Maybe even 60%.
Kamui Woods & Mt. Lady
Tumblr media
You wouldn’t think some of the most plain as bread heroes would be joining the ranks of the problematic, and in fairness that’s because they mostly aren’t, but they are the ones who best represent a serious issues with heroes. They represent the way heroes will focus on flashiness & the problems they cause/exasperate in the process. Misconduct performed in the quest for fame; in so many words. Kamui showed this in chapter 1; calling a giant purse snatcher “evil incarnate” because that villain was attention grabbing and disturbing the peace. This is especially noticeable in hindsight, after we’ve see some real problems heroes could be dealing with but aren’t; like lost children on their way to becoming villains. And Mt. Lady represent it by how she operates in a big city despite her powers really working better for more rural or neighborly environments; because city work makes her more popular and rakes in the cash (that she loses paying for repairs).
That said, even if those are flaws I feel are highly associated with them, none of that is stuff they’re actively involved in; they’re naïve at best, and have already improved considerably (for minor characters at least) into better heroes. Frankly speaking, their changes of survival are probably averaging at 85% (80% for Kamui, 90% for Mt.). Like, they’re not gag characters per se; but they’re not super serious characters, they’re not connected to the MCs in any real way, and they don’t knowingly contribute to any of society’s corruptions. Really, so long as big H doesn’t really want to off someone we know for a shock, they’re probably fine.
Gran Torino
Tumblr media
And lastly, the only non-big shot on the list, the unpleasant old geezer himself; Gran Torino!
What GT represents better than any other, I think, is the idea of passing any blame a hero may have for the actions/very existence of a villain on to the villain in question, thus allowing the heroes to better absolve themselves. You know like how with Shigaraki, he ignores any fault he has with that guys’ existence and simplifies him down to a criminals they can only beat down; and how dare he exist and thereby hurt Toshinori’s feelings. On that note, I’d say he also represents the idea that the villains are what they are, they’re too far gone, and there’s nothing the heroes can do about it. The most convenient excuse to not ever have to try to make up for what they did wrong, which you can’t even blame them too much for because they “tried their best” (even if they really didn’t).
So, what are his odds? Well frankly I wanna put him at 0% just cause he’s so old that if a villain doesn’t get him, time will. But that’s cheating. In actuality, it’s hard to say; dude’s a stubborn old man, and it really feels like it will depend on his ability to admit how wrong he handled things regarding Tomura. Now admittedly, he did admit to making the wrong choice in handling Kotaro, but he’s said nothing of Tomura so far. For now I’ll put him at 30%, but we’ll have to see if he sticks to his guns regarding current events next time he talks with All Might or whoever to really get a gasp on his chances.
And that’s about all the big ones so we’ll wrap it up. Anyway the point is it feels like a lot of heroes are gonna need to get their acts together lest they risk coming down with Not Alive Syndrome sometime in the future.

katsuki b. | dared to date you
- ➟ request
.・。.・゜✭・.・✭・゜・。.
— damn bakugou like... he don’t go out to parties that much. because ew. also he has better things to do so like...
— okay but when he does go to parties, hoe gets in the party mood soon enough. but motherfucking truth or dare, that fucking game. no, nuh uh, nope, never. played it once in middle school, nearly ruined his reputation, (what reputation tho lol) so nuh uh never again.
— but this guy, he didn’t know him, and didn’t really care much for his name, was like:
“you too much of a pussy, bakugou?” he said something else but by that point he tuned him out. no way he was not going to do this silly, stupid, childish game now.
— they were pretty typical dares and truths, pretty typical college kids (half of them probably drunk or high) truth and dares. but when it got to his turn this guy really pulled a 2015 wattpad fanfic move on him.
“ask out l/n y/n, they’re in a class or two of yours, aren’t they? bet they won’t say yes.”
“what.” could’ve killed the guy, decided not to.
— ultimately he gave in and was like “aight let’s do this shit.” next day, he was a few feet away from you about to ask you out and just saw you and fucking backed out. booked it outta there. he thought he was ready, like for real he did, he was going to do it.
— at the end of the week he finally did it though and showed that guy that yeah, you did say yes. so jokes on him, the little shit. <- basically his thought process.
— let me be real, bakugou? hot. you? definitely not expecting him to ask you out. gonna be real for a second again: you were so confused you said yes before you could even think about it.
“yeah.. alright bakugou.” wait y/n, the fuck are you saying wait- <- you when he asked you out
— relationship was gucci for a while. you know, fights happened as every couple. also because bakugou, though improved since high school, still had a temper. but things were going well, no major fights three months in.
— bakugou was... lowkey starting to like you. just lowkey though. like a puppy crush. like when you see someone and you’re like “damn”, okay,
— plus he was kissing, cuddling, fucking you for like almost three months, so? homeboy had to develop some feelings. sorry no, i don’t make the rules. he will catch feelings.
— but oh, wouldn’t you look at that.
— the two of you were just out, chilling at a cafe, as you do. and would you look at this coincidence... it’s the guy that dared bakugou to ask you out. bakugou saw him and prayed he wouldn’t say anything, and yet he strolled over to your table.
— whoops, sorry bakugou my finger slipped.
— honestly, the guy thought bakugou was just playing you still. so you know, why not out him? lmao but bakugou did actually kind of like you. nice job college guy.
“hey bakugou, hey y/n. didn’t think you’d keep it up this long, bakugou.” damn, if looks could kill, that guy would be dead.
“bakugou, what does he mean by that?” you’re not an idiot, you have an idea of what he’s talking about, (2015 wattpad fanfiction man, we all read that shit), but you want to hear it from him.
— yikes.
— bakugou doesn’t want to be bakuhoe so he does... he does tell you the truth. college guy is already out of there, he’s not gonna be in the middle of that, no sir.
— goddamn bakugou you’re screwed. no mercy.
— even though he tells you “at the beginning it was a dare, but i like you, y/n.”, you still don’t take any of it. obviously if he was caught he would say something like that, you thought.
— tries to grab you on your way out but you just refuse to look at him, coldly telling him, “don’t touch me.” for a moment his grip tightens, but eventually let’s you go. you’ve already caused enough of a scene in the cafe.
— haha, but he doesn’t stop there. look, it’s not that he feels empty or like nothing without you, but it felt nice to have someone to rely on, someone who’s there for you. the relationship felt safe and comforting, he missed that.
— but you refused to answer any of his calls or texts. avoiding him in the hallways and in classes became easier over time, and eventually you didn’t even have to think about doing it, you just didn’t see him. he became just another person in the crowd.
— you were hurt too. believing that he really, genuinely liked you only to have the harsh reality that it was all just for some stupid dare be revealed, that hurts. it makes you question a lot of things. the relationship seemed so real, everything he did and said felt so real, so how could it have just been him telling a lie?
— you hated him, or tried to convince yourself you hated him, for so, so long. until one day you stopped thinking about him so much. one day turned into two and few thoughts turned into none.
— he became a stranger again.

How 'bout a Bakugou fic where he's in love with an older woman, lets say his senpai. I just love the idea of Bakubae pining after someone who's a little bit older than him 🤤
Not my senpai
Tumblr media
Bakugou stared at the big red zero on the test paper in his hand with an angry expression. Ofcourse he, THE Bakugou Katsuki couldn't get a fucking zero on a test! There must have been some sort of mistake! As if Aizawa was reading Bakugou's mind, he looked at Bakugou and stated, "Bakugou, there hasn’t been any mistake in my grading if that's what you're thinking. You got perfect scores in every other test except for English. If you want to be a top hero, your English speaking skills need to be top notch since famous pro heroes are sometimes sent on missions abroad. You need extra tutoring and we'll talk in details about it after classes are over.". "Yes, sensei.." Bakugou grumbled, almost blowing up the test paper in his hand as he crumbled it and shoved it in his bag. The worst part of it all was that he was the only one in class to fail English. Iida, Todoroki and Yaoyorozu came from expensive middle schools which gave them good English skills since they already learnt it all from back there. Midoriya was always good at taking notes which is why he managed to keep up with English as he also took help from Iida and Todoroki. Uraraka and Tsuyu took help from them as well and managed to pass the English exams. Kaminari and Sero knew English from video games while Mina and Kirishima learnt it from american fashion and fitness blogs. Koda learned English from cooking videos while Jirou learnt it from singing English songs. Satou apparently had relatives abroad and therefore, he was taught the language by his parents. No one knew how Ayoama knew such good English while the others simply seeked guidance from Yaoyorozu. Hell, even Mineta knew enough English to pass the exams thanks to watching way too many English porn videos! Bakugou was the only one with the massive ego to not ask for help from anyone which in turn came back to bite him on his own ass.
When class was finally over, Bakugou sat at his chair angrily, waiting for his discussion with Aizawa. He knew that getting extra tutoring would improve his English skills and ofcourse, he didn't want to be topped by "shitty deku". Then again, taking help from people was rather embarassing for him. However, it's not like he had an option in this case. While thinking of all these, he didn't notice the third year student slip in the classroom. Bakugou was currently in the second year of UA. During his first year, he was able to manage English classes somehow but now that lessons got way harder, he managed to get his first failing grade in his entire life. Bakugou's trail of thoughts was broken by Aizawa speaking to him. "I don't have any extra time to give you extra tutoring and nor does the other teachers. (L/N) here would be helping you with English because of that. She's one of the big three of the third year and she's got the top marks in every year so don't underestimate her and behave. Talk to her and set your extra lesson timings." Aizawa drawled before getting out of the class with his sleeping bag, leaving Bakugou with you. "Hey, I'm (L/N) (Y/N) from 3A and I'm glad to help you out with English. So, Bakugou-kun, tell me when you're free and we can work out a time to study together?" you told him with a small smile as you sat on the chair infront of him. "Am free after classes everyday for 2 hours." Bakugou muttered with a scowl. "I see. You're not too friendly are you? Well, it doesn't matter. As long as you cooperate and as long as your English skills get better, you don't need to play friends. I'll see you after class on Wednesdays and Thursdays alright? See ya tommorow." You stood up, your polite smile gone to replace your face with seriousness. Well, atleast you successfully broke his expectations of you being a random extra cause it was like you read him by his expression alone.
"(L/N)-SENPAI IS GIVING YOU EXTRA TUTORING? GODDAMNIT WHY DID I NOT FAIL ENGLISH?!?!?!??!" Kaminari wailed at the information passed onto him for the 100th time. "Why is dunce face acting like that?" Bakugou asked Kirishima, tired of Kaminari's fanboying over you. "You really don't know anything about (L/N)-senpai do you Bakubro? Her quirk is similar to principal Nezu and she pretty much is smarter than a computer. She can tell exactly what you're thinking by just looking at you cause she's so good at reading a person's body language and she apparantly got into the hero course without having any physical quirk just cause she apparantly made a different student hit a building in a certain place that made all the other buildings in Ground beta fall over crushing all the robots. Principal Nezu already requested her to take over his position as soon as he retires. She won the sports festival three times in her year cause she uses everyone's quirk against them somehow. As far as I know, no one really understands what's going on in her mind cause she always has this polite smile on her and so far, no one has been able to befriend her or get anywhere close to her cause she somehow always shuts them out. She's pretty much the prettiest, smartest and the most untouchable girl in UA. Which is why, Kaminari is shitting himself cause (Y/N)-senpai would never go out of her way to tutor someone and you're seriously lucky cause she's probably the smartest person in Musutafu besides Principal Nezu." Kirishima explained. At the moment, Bakugou clearly understood why your expression suddenly changed just because he scowled. You probably understood that he thought you were an extra when in reality, you were anything but one. The whole ordeal, somehow, made Bakugou feel embarassed about judging you without knowing shit.
Wednesday came sooner than he expected and Bakugou knew that he had to compensate for embarassing himself. Ofcourse you probably thought that he infact was the extra cause you were clearly way smarter than he was. While you tried to find his issues with English, he was feeling uncomfortable thinking about the events from back then. "Bakugou-kun, I'm not looking down on you cause you looked down on me. I can understand that you figured out my quirk from someone but it's alright. People tend to judge others and that's normal human behaviour. Now that you feel bad about it, that's enough for me and we can just forget that happened." you told him, again with that polite smile. "Okay." Bakugou muttered feeling awkward since he wasn’t used to people reading him like that. Like Kirishima mentioned, you really were extremely smart and you figured out exactly what made his English skills weak in a matter of minutes. While he had a good understanding of grammer, he clearly had no practice when it came to implementing it. After talking to him for a while, you figured out his interests quite easily and for the next few months, you brought him books that he might like for him to read out loud to you. Bakugou was a smart person as well and it didn't take him any more than the next three months to master English well. By then, the two of you read over a hundred books together in the library. The two days of tutoring turned into all seven days a week and Bakugou found himself drawn to you after the first month. While you were polite and cold at the begining, you started to laugh at Bakugou's dry offensive humour. Bakugou found your smart remarks funny as well, letting out a deep chuckle at times. The books you got him were all up to his interests at the beginning but with time, they ended up being books that you genuinely enjoyed which made Bakugou learn more and more about you. You, like him, were a misunderstood person. You understood exactly what others thought of you which made you detach yourself from people. Everyone always thought of you negatively behind your back and they believed that you wouldn’t figure it out. The only problem was that you always did. People were easy to read after all and you understood why people found you to be too intense. People are naturally made to be scared of the unknown and no one really knew you. Well, except Bakugou. You opened up to this certain boy because he always showed what he felt. To him, there was no reason to hide his feelings, he would say that he dislikes someone on their face. You liked that bold attitude and you found yourself opening up to him, thinking of him as a friend or maybe more.
When Bakugou looked at the red 100/100 written on his English test paper, a smirk formed at his face. He couldn't wait to show it to you and brag about his English skills. He knew that he wouldn't be here without you but then again, you already knew that. He loved that he didn’t have to voice his appreciation out loud to you since you always picked up on his subtle gestures of appreciation unlike everyone else. Hell, you were smart enough to see the good in him, to see everything else other than his prickly exterior. He finally knew why Kaminari was fangirling over you months back since ge found himself doing the same. You were the embodiment of perfection to him and now, three months later, he knew that he was head over heels in love with you. However, unlike you, he didn't have any way of predicting you. You were older than him by an year. Hell, you were a senior student and you always rejected everyone who asked you out. You'd be starting out as a pro hero in less than a few months while he'll still be a high school student and ofcourse that meant that you’d most probably reject him. With all that negative thoughts, he went to the library to meet up with you for tutoring sessions. Given that he already aced his exams, there was no more reason for you to tutor him anymore. The thought that you probably wouldn’t talk to him again made him feel sick at the stomach. "Hey Bakugou-kun! How did the test go?" you asked him with a genuine smile as you sat at one of the tables in the library. With a cocky smirk, Bakugou held out his test paper, showing off his perfect grade. To his surprise, you stood up and did a little weird victory dance as you clearly looked extremely happy. "Damn, (L/N), you seem more happy about my grades than I am" Bakugou teased you, making you blush furiously as you realised that you literally danced like an idiot infront of him. "It's (L/N)-senpai Bakugo-kun! Besides, all teachers feel happy when their students get perfect scores you know!" you tried to defend yourself by teasing him. Usually, he would tease you back with some sort of insulting remark but this time, he was quiet. You knew about his feelings for you for a while. After all, Bakugou wasn’t very hard to read. To be honest, you found yourself falling for him as well. However, you wanted him to make the first move. You were older than he is but that didn't mean that you’d have to take charge in every case. Unfortunately, it seemed as if he couldn’t gain that confidence and now that your tutoring sessions came to an end, you didn't know what to do. "Senpai huh..." you heard Bakugou mutter, his hair hiding his eyes as you saw a small smirk on his face. "I refuse to call you my senpai, (L/N). You may be an year older than I am, you may have a quirk that makes you a hundred times smarter than I am but I saw through you. Don't think that I didn’t notice those blushes on your face whenever I teased you or how you look like the world ended now that our tuition sessions are over. I seriously was confused at the begining but now, I'm pretty confident that you like me, don't you, (Y/N)?" Bakugou asked, looking straight at your eyes as he called you by your first name. To say that you were blushing would be an understatement as you were completely red by his boldness. "As far as I'm concerned, you're not my senpai from now on. You'll be my girlfriend instead. If I'm wrong, then you can walk away from me and I'll not bother you again." Bakugou stated, a blush forming at his face. He didn’t think this through. Infact, as soon as he saw your sad expression, he decided that he needed to confess now. It as now or never. Bakugou was never good with feelings and you understood why his confession sounded more like a declaration that you were his. A small shy smile formed on your face as you looked at him and said, "Alright, I'm not your senpai". The next thing you knew was that you were pulled into a deep passionate kiss.
Bonus: "YOU'RE DATING (L/N)-SENPAI??!?!?!?! WHY DID I NOT FAIL ENGLISH GAHHHHHH" Kaminari was bawling in the 2A common room while Bakugou looked at Kirishima with an annoyed expression and told him, "Tell Dunce face to shut his trap." Kirishima only looked at Bakugou with a shocked expression thanks to the news that Bakugou was dating you being thrown at him moments ago.

BAKUGOU, TENYA, IZUKU WITH A CRUSH!reader (HEADCANNONS)
When you enrolled in U.A High, you were extremely nervous. What if you weren't fit to be a Pro Hero? At the entrance exam, there were so many other students, you felt queasy at the sight of so much potential.
You went through so many insecure thoughts and fleeting moments of panic before school started. What if they didn't like you? How would you even make friends? Would they be easy going or cold and distant? When school finally started, you were in for a surprise.
BAKUGOU KATSUKI
Tumblr media
As we all know, Katsuki was a prideful asshole at the beginning of the school year. He barely paid attention to anyone and you weren't an exception- Kirishima and the Bakusquad were the only ones who'd managed to befriend him. And even then, they would always get on his nerves.
Don't get me wrong, he knew you existed. But he didn't really pay much attention to you until the mids of the first year. The first time he interacted with you was during a fighting assignment- the two of you had been paired together, you were to engage in combat and see how your quirks worked against each other and together.
Bakugou noticed that you had a strong quirk- you weren't any extra. With your quirk Liquify, you actually managed to make him sweat and feel tired- you had a good grasp on your quirk.  He didn't mind working with you, he had noticed that you tended to be quiet and distant and barely talked to him if it wasn't school-related- so he thought you were alright. Katsuki preferred a silent partner than a loud and noisy one like dunceface.
However, he was slightly thrown off guard when he spotted you with Todoroki, Tsuyu, and a few others of the class, laughing together and blabbering about nonsense. He had never seen you laugh or smile around him. Your face was shining with joy-  he could see so many emotions in your expression- a startling contrast to your usual stoic or grimacing face.
Bakugou didn't care, right? The two of you were just study partners, nothing more. He didn't care about how you acted around him.
...Right?
He couldn't convince himself with his own words.
The more time the two of you worked together, the more you opened up. It was a pleasant change. Katsuki noticed how you would smile when you thought he wasn't looking or that you'd occasionally chatter with him during the fighting and reply sarcastically to his remarks.
Seeing you smile and laugh around him felt nice- his heart always skipped a beat when your lips tugged upwards.
He told himself it was nothing. He didn't like you or anything...he just liked seeing you smile. That's what he kept telling himself day after day, refusing to acknowledge his feelings for you.
''Bakugou, do you choose truth or dare?''
It wasn't until Class 1A decided to have a sleepover with all the boys and girls (minus Mineta, they kicked him out of the building for the night) and played a popular game called Truth or Dare that he finally acknowledged his feelings for you.
It was Mina's turn, and Katsuki didn't like the evil glint in her eyes. He felt his heart crawl up to his throat when Mina smiled at him.
He swallowed, clenching his fists at his side. Ever since he was paired with you, Katsuki had noticed how Mina's gaze lingered on the two of you. What was she planning? Was Mina going to force him to do something- kiss you? He felt his ears burn at the thought. After an awkward moment of silence, Bakugou spoke up.
''Truth,'' he said gruffly. Hopefully, she wouldn't ask what he was thinking.
Mina squealed in delight. She clasped her hands together. ''Bakugou,'' she spoke slowly but firmly, her face contorting into a serious expression. ''Do you like Y/N?''
''Hah?!'' he immediately snapped. His ears and cheeks burned red and small sparks snapped from his palms. Bakugou could hear snickers and squeals from the rest of his classmates but refused to look at them.
''What kind of question is that?!"
After a few moments, Bakugou grumbled a 'yes', but no one heard him, so Mina taunted him into speaking louder.
Mina giggled, shooting you a knowing glance. Bakugou wanted to look at you- what were you thinking?- but his fear of rejection willed him to keep his burning gaze on Mina.
''You heard me,'' the pink girl replied with a grin. ''Is Y/N your crush? Don't lie to me. You have to say the truth!''
''YES! GOD FUCKING DAMNIT, I LIKE Y/N, OKAY?!"
Everyone was silent at his outburst. With a growl, he glanced at you. His face felt like it was on fire- and much to his surprise, you were as flustered as him- but you offered him a timid smile. He relaxed at your smile and felt his heart flutter. You liked him back.
TENYA IIDA
Tumblr media
As class president, Iida felt the responsibility of reaching out with all of his classmates. He wasn't particularly close with everyone, but he made sure to be friendly and supportive.
You were a different case. Despite his attempts to converse with you, Iida had noticed that you were quite distant and cold. At first, he was startled but eventually brushed it off. Maybe it was just your behavior, similar to Todoroki's.
Even though you were quite closed off, Iida refused to surrender.
He had seen you briefly interact with other classmates such as Tokoyami and Ochaco, and you were far more comfortable with them, smiling and even laughing with them. This could've discouraged him but instead, it made him feel motivated to get you to be comfortable with him.
After Iida had a sparring match with Todoroki, you approached him.
‘‘Not bad,’‘ you said. Your face was stoic- but the fact that you were complimenting him made him smile. ‘‘Your sparring skills are improving.’‘
Iida bowed down so low he nearly touched the ground. ‘’Thank you, Y/N-chan!” he exclaimed.
Eventually, the two of you became comfortable friends, but Iida was still the goody two shoes he's always been. Whenever you were acting improper or out of line, he was always there to keep you in check, scolding you with his loud and long speeches.
At first, his scoldings irked you but you eventually warmed up to them. One time, your uniform was too tight/short (it was the last pair you had clean!) and when you greeted Iida, his face reddened.
''Y/N-chan!'' he exclaimed, waving his hands in the air. ''Your uniform doesn't abide by the school uniform's guidelines! You are a very beautiful person but-,'' his face turned even redder and he swallowed nervously. ''Your presentation is improper!''
After his rant, he breathed heavily and was surprised when he heard you laughing softly. You rarely showed emotions around him- only a few small smiles and chuckles, but never a laugh.
''Oh, Iida-kun!'' you said with a teasing grin. ''It's my only clean uniform pair!'' you pouted and Iida swallowed nervously. ''I'll make sure to dress properly next time! Thanks for letting me know.'' you pressed a chaste kiss on his cheek and walked away with a mischievous grin, leaving him a blushing mess.
Iida grew fond of your jokes- they were silly, but always made him smile. Around you, Iida grew at ease. He had acknowledged that he had romantic feelings for you, but wasn’t quite sure how to tell you. It wasn’t a concerning matter for him, he was sure that one day, he would be able to confess to you... it was merely a matter of time. Meanwhile, he would simply have to push his romantic feelings aside, until he was ready to confess.
IZUKU MIDORIYA
Tumblr media
Where do I begin?
Izuku is quite friendly and tries to befriend everyone- even if they're challenging or distant. He's proven to be successful- after all, he befriended the aloof Shoto Todoroki.
He began to interact with you through Todoroki- you had quickly befriended the bi-colored boy after joining U.A and when Izuku befriended Todoroki and began to sit together- you would tag along and sit with them.
When he met you, he was in awe for several reasons. One, you had perfect control over your quirk Liquify- which amazed him to no end- he would constantly ask you questions and mutter under his breath, writing down notes in his notebook.
Your cold behavior didn't bother him- he believed that you simply weren't comfortable with him yet, and he was okay with that fact. You could open up whenever you were ready.
His theory turned out to be correct- after months of socializing, you began to warm up with him- and he began to see a different side of you.
You would occasionally make sarcastic remarks that made him laugh loudly. Izuku didn’t miss how your eyes would slightly crinkle and how beautiful you look when you smiled- but remained silent and kept his comments to himself.
During the weekend, you had spent time with him and admitted that you felt anxious around him- he was Deku, a Pro Hero in training, he saved everyone and always smiled brightly. To a certain point, you felt intimidated by him.
After hearing your confession, Izuku assured you that you were great as well- he was a firm believer that your quirk and your traits were perfect to be a Pro Hero- there was no reason to feel intimidated.
The two of you grew even closer after that day.
Sometimes, you would become cuddly or yearn for physical contact and you would grumble or ask Izuku if you could hug him or hold his arm. He would blush brightly and stammer for several minutes but eventually agree.
If being close to him made you happy, he was happy to oblige.
