hyunmin;

& hyunmin may not seem very diligent in this field but he would put a lot of thought into a first date, trying to make it as enjoyable as possible so you would agree to a follow up date.

& since it'd up to him he'd like take you somewhere it's guaranteed you would have fun just to not take any risks.

& an amusement park would be his first choice. he would make sure to get you as many goodies as possible, even though he rarely gets lucky at the game stands.

& on rides he'd make sure to hold your hand so you feel safe, trying his best to hide his own nervousness. you'd end up screaming together at heart dropping moments.

& by the end of the date, you would have laughed and screamed enough for a week, your hands would be full of plushies from each stand and your heart filled with joy.

kien;

& kien would go for a fun leisure activity to put you at ease, a bit like hyunmin but he would make sure you actively participating in the fun.

& he would be the type to take you to a karaoke bar or a roller-skate rink, so you can have fun together in an atmosphere where you can also relax.

& you would talk without feeling time pass as you do whatever, you will inevitably have fun till you're out of energy and then you would relax for the rest of the date.

& sitting down and chatting with food to get your lost energy back. you would laugh together over mistakes you made and your clumsiness on the rink.

ziwoo;

& ziwoo would be attentive to the things you've said you like, and come up with a idea for a date through that. he would make it pretty simple and leave the activity up to you.

& a nice walk together leading to the park where you'd spend the rest of your time together for a nice picnic date where you can talk for hours while enjoying the weather.

& he would have prepared your favourite snacks, and your favourite compact meals for you to enjoy during the date.

& it would mostly be both of you talking about anything and everything that comes to mind, imagining fake lives for people passing by, and reminiscing about past experiences.

& just in case he would have also gathered a few things, like mini canvas with markers and crayons, card games, bracelet making set, just any little hobby he knows you like.

& he'd walk you back home making sure to secure that second date.

& instead of going over and beyond choi han would probably "not plan anything", he would go for a more spontaneous approach for the date.

& like if he just happened to be in your town he would hit you up, just to get to see you, and since nothing would be planned you would go for nice late night walk.

& it would be a very nice vibe, like a coming of age type feeling, just chatting under the night sky as you walk though the empty streets of your town.

& he would get to know you through the memories you share from the places you walk through in the town, like your old school, an old hangout spot. you would end up talking more than you expected and sharing moments you never thought you would

& the good part of there being no plan is that you can do anything if anything comes up unexpectedly, and despite how unplanned it seems he would have had a plan b just in case.

rioto;

& rioto would take planning your first date very seriously, he would try to find somewhere nice and unique where you could enjoy your time together.

& he'd prioritise a calm environment over the latter, a nice quaint cat café would be his ideal spot to get to know you better and enjoy the calming presence of cats.

& he'd be the type to just listen to you talk with his big brown eyes, just nodding and smiling, enjoying anything you're telling him. it might catch you of guard at times because of how soft his stare would be.

& if there's any silent moments it wouldn't feel as awkward, it would just feel like a natural feeling and you would be comfortable in the quietness.

& he would make sure you know he enjoyed your company by the end of the date, asking in the sweetest way possible if you would like to do something together again.

doha;

& for doha he would be super nervous but would want to hide it at all cost, so he would try to find a place where you don't actually have to pay much attention to him.

& he would take you to see a movie or a play so you wouldn't get to talk much during the date but he can still make you know that he's interested in you with subtle touches.

& he would pay more attention to you than whatever you're watching, it might have been an unconscious excuse to look at you back and forth for an hour without you noticing.

& by the end of the movie he would end up a lot less nervous and all his gallantry will show up, in the last moments leading up to the end of the date.

& your hand would be in his, his jacket over your shoulders as you walk back to your place. the conversation would flow easily thanks to the movie and once you reach your place you would find yourself not wanting it to end.

jibeen;

& in jibeen's eyes it wouldn't really be a date, he'd just invite you out because he wants to spend more time with you but that is technically a date.

& it wouldn't feel extremely romantic but you would be spending a good time with each other, probably at an arcade or an internet café.

& despite it not being entirely a date you would still get signs of his affection, in the things he'd do while you'd spend time together.

& when you're playing games against each other 8 times out of 10 he losing intentionally just so he can see your proud smile. if you're playing together on the same team he'd try his best to protect you.

& he'd end the date with a cute indirect confession that would make you lose your mind because you're not sure if he meant it platonically or something more.

My interpretation of ARrC’s concept based on what I’ve seen so far.

Starting from the beginning with their concept photos:

“Fancy the notion that what you presumed sour could be sweet?”

This phrase was captioned on all of their concept photos. After seeing this, plus the cover art on their upcoming physical album,

(Credit to @luvyudays on Twitter because I did not catch this at first).

I think it’s safe to assume that their concept is based on the Aesop fable “The Fox & the Grapes”.

The tale is about a fox who desires to get a bunch of grapes he sees hanging from a vine. After failing to do so, he no longer viewed the grapes lovingly, but with disgust.

“What a fool I am,” he said. “Here I am wearing myself out to get a bunch of sour grapes that are not worth gaping for.”

This quote from the tale was the one that reminded me most of the one from earlier. The fox presumed the grapes were sour and refused to entertain the idea of them being sweet, even though he hadn’t gotten the opportunity to taste them. As the moral of the story states, “There are many who pretend to despise and belittle that which is beyond their reach.”

Now, onto their song "Dummy" and it’s lyrics. I don’t know if the song is connected to the aforementioned concept because it is a pre-release after all, but I’d still like to point out some lyrics I found interesting and thought could have some ties to the story.

“Everybody looks so thirsty

Dopamine bomb in the bad news

Saccharine addicted bad tooth”

When describing the grapes, the author of the aforementioned tale stated that they “seemed ready to burst with juice,” which could describe the thirsty feeling.

Now onto the next line. Dopamine is a chemical messenger in the brain that can give you feelings of pleasure, satisfaction, or, like we saw from the fox, motivation. After seeing the grapes, the fox barely hesitated before leaping towards the branch, only to fail after many tries. The attempt was “bad news” from the beginning due to its difficulty, but the fox disregarded the fact due to his addiction to the sweetness.

Something I noticed in their recent concept photos is that three members (Jibeen, Kien, and Rioto) have grapes while the other four members don’t.

This could have little to no significance, but seeing how they’re incorporating fables into their music and overall image, I think there's a possibility it does and leads to a bigger story.
