Was talking with my gf last night about PPG ship stuff and realized I've made my self insert a programmer and coder... in a series that takes place within the turn of the century... bro Y2K gonna fucking kill her 😭😭😭

#i had to explain this to my gf so i wouldnt be surprised if a lot of other ppl dont know this. so listen up #at the turn of the century people were justifiably freaking out because many MANY computer programs #were not designed to roll into the year 2000 and beyond. which would destroy decades of data and make so many programs obsolete suddenly #so it took many programmers working long hours to re-code all of this software and make sure it would still WORK #but here's the thing!! they were successful but when nothing DID end up happening everyone was like “oh haha we were worried for nothing!'#BUT THATS NOT TRUE. NOTHING ENDED UP HAPPENING BECAUSE IT TOOK THE HARD WORK OF THOUSANDS #AROUND THE CLOCK TO MAKE SURE THAT CATASTROPHE DIDNT OCCUR!!!
