it's probably not as bad as what you're going through, but I think I get it. i tried talking to the people in my class and I was talked over or made fun of so since I stopped talking my presence affects literally nothing. I feel like a ghost. I found out recently that I have autism too so I'm sorry you're going through that. I'm convinced the world just hates neurodivergent people at this point

Yeah I basically went through the same thing. Had a mental crisis over it for 2 years and tried really hard to befriend people but I just don't socialize well and nothing ever worked out. Neurotypicals take a lack of eye contact and strange posture and even the slightest stimming as like. An insult. Bizarre. Eventually I stopped trying and caring and am in a much better place now mentally about it cause relationships take a lot of time and energy and I'd rather use that time and energy for art and bird care.

I think there is something deeply wrong with me because for senior year this upcoming school year I’ve decided to take AP gov and AP macroeconomics 😭😭😭 I wouldn’t have done something like that if gov and economics weren’t required classes.
