I just think people can have an opinion on who should have won without bashing Harry

I don’t post the ones who are clearly just haters and are unnecessary in their vitriol cause it’s not the man’s fault he won. Again it’s not his issue, it’s the grammys. But also, you can simply say you think the album was better. Going all music expert and trying to say charts and impact wouldn’t work when music is subjective and Bad Bunny was right there and should have won by their argument. It’s really fine if you think he deserves to win, it’s also fine if people think the album was mid. Just as it is fine if you didn’t think Renaissance was good. But it’s never fine if you ignore that there are systemic problems in the grammys that continuously undermine pocs and that it has played a major factor this year and the previous years.

"Okay, so tonight's dinner will be pizza, as I was informed. "Where are you?" Not knowing what she should be looking for other than a pizza box as she makes her way down the catwalk, YN says, "Is there a pizza box I should be looking for, really? — A sudden cheer could be heard from the other side of the stage, where Harry appeared to be pointing down to someone in the audience. Harry said, "C'mere, I think I found her. I'll even check my imaginary watch on my wrist to see how long it'll take her to get here," he said, motioning for YN to come over to his side.

"I actually believed a turtle was with me on stage," Harry jokes with a smirk on his lips, "YN finally made it over, much slower than anyone, actually." By this time, the two are arguing once more and have forgotten that they were looking for the pizza a fan had promised YN she would get at tonight's show.

"Well, I wouldn't really like the opportunity to slip and fall down as I'm running to you, no? - I'm simply being safe, unlike you." YN says with a cheeky grin plastered onto her face, to which Harry replies with a playful, offended look as he dramatically starts crying and places his hands over his eyes to stop his "tears" from falling out.

YN decides to move on, away from the conversation, and approaches the fan, who is holding a pizza box in the air. "Are you the one who promised me dinner?" The fan's head nodding told her everything she needed to know, even though she couldn't really hear what she was saying due to the audience and the earpiece placed in her ears. She then reaches over to the fan, carefully grabbing the box from the fan's hands without falling. As YN holds the box, her excitement quickly builds as she remembers how hungry she was before the show.

"Better hope it's your favorite pizza. If not, the pizza will be mine before you know it!" Harry approaches YN with a sneaky grin on his face. By turning away from the audience to hide the pizza they would be eating on stage, YN and Harry created needless suspense. — The boy standing next to YN laughs as she says, "Don't let me down, please," into her microphone.

It was YN's preferred pizza, which surprised her. As she crouches next to the fan, YN exclaims, "You are now my favorite person ever, I love you so much." — "You certainly made her happy, I suppose. Sincerely, I believed she would eventually cut off my head." Harry says as he squats down next to YN and receives snarling looks in return.

"Harry, I hate you so much." She pushes him in a playful manner until he falls to his back, at which point she turns to face the fan while grinning widely. — "You have my undying love. I adore you. Because of you, dinner is served!"

"Speaking of Adore You," Harry teases into his microphone as he motions for YN to stand, the upbeat instrumental playing through the speakers.

YN was spotted eating pizza while seated close to her and Harry's band.

I've got a blank space baby

1989!!! What a fun album. I love when I wear my 1989 t-shirts in public- just the year, no other Taylor context. I've gotten asked "What happened in 1989?" I just say "It was the year Taylor Swift was born and the name of one of her albums!"

1989 is where we see the full on shift into pop. Like I am talking POP music. 1989 went on to win album of the year, so clearly, we can see that Taylor is able to have duality as an artist. Being able to jump win AOTY for two different genres (at this point, Fearless was the only AOTY she held) is something that I think truly solidified her ability to do many things in the music industry (not that she had anything to prove to anyone because she is and always will be THAT girl). Being able to create incredible albums that are so different from one another and having them both be recognized as such is pretty amazing.

Now- I will always be honest. I do not connect with 1989 as much as I have her other albums. I am not saying it is a bad album (there is no such thing as a bad Taylor album).You would think that the upbeat undertones of the album would instantly draw me in, but personally, it was a slow burn. What really shifted my mindset was hearing her sing Out Of The Woods on piano. It helped me to digest the lyrics in 1989 a lot more.

Once again, we see those huge pop hits: Shake it off, Style, Blank Space, and Bad Blood... How can you not help but dance when you hear it? She puts out hit after hit after hit.

Despite not having a massive connection to 1989 as a collective album, there are two particular songs that have my heart and are truly some of my favorites. You Are In Love and Clean. Clean is one that I know holds a big place for a lot of people. For me, I associate it with finally becoming mentally stable. I am Bipolar and have been hospitalized in the process of trying to be a functional human being. I am very proud to say I have fully embraced taking medications and have never been happier. The road was hell on earth but I am finally clean.

I would like to pretend I don’t care about awards, but Midnights winning the record breaking aoty was definitely a choice

lana, janelle, and sza were RIGHT THERE. you can even argue for olivia rodrigo's GUTS if we were going purely off popularity/impact. swift winning AOTY for midnights kind of cemented she doesn't need to try anymore since her stans will eat up lyrical masterpieces like everybody is a sexy baby and eyeliner sharp enough to kill a man and whatever bejewelled was. i fear we'll never get a folklore/evermore level album from her again, and with jack antonoff's obsession with never ever using real instruments for production all shes got going for her is people being reminded of her past better songs from the greatest hits tour and speculating which ex is about which lyric

The 1

The 1 is talking to an ex and updating them on her life, we got to see it reenacted at the 2021 Grammys when Folklore won AOTY:

The 1 was written between March and July 2020. It had not been long since Harry and Taylor saw each other, we know of at least at Ed Sheeran's Wedding in September. Lover and Fine Line (on Taylors 30th Birthday) came out since then, 2019 had been a big year.

In the long pond sessions Taylor and Aaron talked about how it reflects the whole album. Which is interesting when Taylor also sang in Gold Rush that her mind turns Harry's life “into folklore”.

I see The 1, Cardigan and Exile as one conversation (I'll get to Betty). From pleasantries, expressing support and then rehashing their end.

Lyrics

[Verse 1] I'm doing good, I'm on some new shit Been saying "yes" instead of "no" I thought I saw you at the bus stop, I didn't though I hit the ground running each night I hit the Sunday matinée You know the greatest films of all time were never made

In the long pond sessions Taylor said the opening line has a double meaning, that the sound of folklore was a new direction and that she was being open to new experiences personally.

Taylor has a similar line to the bus stop, in Cardigan, which is almost a continuation of The 1, “I knew I'd curse you for the longest time / Chasin' shadows in the grocery line” both capture that feeling of subconsciously looking for someone

Taylor says she’s busy, hits the ground running and fits as much as she can in. Ironic lines in a pandemic. The matinee line sounds like she made time to see Dunkirk, but maybe that's just me.

“The greatest films of all time were never made.” I love this line, she’s reflecting that their relationship was cut short. She also refers to it as a film later in the conversation in Exile. The wildest dreams music video also refers to them as Taylor and Burton

[Pre-Chorus] I guess you never know, never know And if you wanted me, you really should've showed And if you never bleed, you're never gonna grow And it's alright now

In the pre-chorus Taylor reflects on the different views of their relationship in 1989 compared to HS1. They have both said they don’t communicate in person what they can in song.

'If you never bleed your never gonna grow' there is a similar line in Woman on HS1: "he’s right where I should, where I should be but you’re making me bleed”. The reference here is that Harry should have shared his feelings sooner, or then but didn't.

However, in Cruel Summer however, Taylor said "And if I bleed, you'll be the last to know, oh" so it seems mutual to hide their feelings.

In Olivia, Harry said “This isn't the stain of a red wine, I'm bleeding love”

It's alright is a reference to Fine Line's "We'll be a fine line / We'll be alright"

[Chorus] But we were something, don't you think so? Roaring twenties, tossing pennies in the pool And if my wishes came true It would've been you In my defense, I have none For never leaving well enough alone But it would've been fun If you would've been the one (Ooh)

I love “roaring 20’s” like, it refers to both her age and “it was so Gatsby that year” from TIWWCHNT, referring the party 1989 era before the gates shut in Reputation. 20 is a Haylor theme also

Also tossing pennies and wishes reminds you of I wish you would.

Taylor has described their relationship as 'like the mall before the internet' in Coney Island, an incredibly fun place.

I love the second verse, she is hoping that her muse is living a happy new life. To me 'adventures on your own' conjures up Harry's post One Direction career. Which it may have been with his second album freshly released.

'We never painted by the numbers' is similar to 'you painted my nights a colour I have searched for since' in Question..?

[Pre-Chorus] I guess you never know, never know And it's another day waking up alone [Bridge] I, I, I persist and resist the temptation to ask you If one thing had been different Would everything be different today?

Taylor has a few songs that explore Haylor What Ifs:

INTHAF Imagines what if they had met as children, and

Suburban Legends imagines a fantasy of them surprising the whole school in a 1950's gym, as a metaphor for being a power couple at a high profile event.

Digging up the grave also reminds us of the opening of Look at what you made me do, where Taylor emerges as a Zombie wearing a dress similar to the one she wore in Out of the Woods.
