#ANOTHER NO SKIP RELEASE FROM ENHYPEN‼️

track one: fate - super good!! i’m not a huge listener to enhypen’s intro tracks but i actually rly like this one!! it definitely ranks up there with songs like foreshadow (an outro track yes ik) and the invitation for me :) listening to the album in order, i think it sets up bite me rly rly well … (also i think won starts the song n PLSSS IM ON MY KNEES 🧎🏼)

track two: bite me - CERTIFIED BANGER‼️ NO DOUBT ABT IT ❌ i alr talked abt it in my first post but it truly is quite the addictive song … i don’t think it’ll be/it is my favorite off the album. it’s definitely more thematic than their recent releases (i.e. manifesto) … very reminiscent of given-taken in terms of aesthetic and execution, most likely Very lore heavy (which i’m a Huge fan of!)

track three: sacrifice (eat me up) - hmm … idk how to feel abt this one … it’s definitely good! but i think they did right not making this the first/last track on the album. i think the pre chorus/preview portion that they released is more enjoyable than the actual chorus. riki’s bridge part, sunoo starting the song, and jake singing the little pre chorus part r definitely me favorite portions of the song.

track four: chaconne - i didn’t think i was going to like this one from the preview but i proved myself WRONG!!! SUNOO/NIKI PART IS ADDICTIVE 💔 this also feels like such a heeseung coded song … his vocal timbre/agility rly rly fits this this song ESP in the chorus.

track five: bills - i have nothing to say (i’m lying). no notes. this song is actually perfect. i have a feeling that this is one of their personal favorite songs of the album. UGH SUNOO BRIDGE VOCALS, HEEWON CHORUS PARTS, EVERYTHING ABT THIS SONG IS AMAZING … i rly hope they get a chance to perform this live bc i will be all over it …

track six: karma - i despise fake cursing in kpop songs but i’ll make an exception for park jongseong (read: my husband <3) THIS IS SO HIS SONG GRAHHH i just know he’s gonna have the time of his life performing this n i cannot wait to see it 💔

overall: was it worth waiting 10 months? in my opinion, very much so! i think this is yet another cohesive work that balances musical and thematic elements while also introducing a completely unique sound into the realm of kpop. i was honestly getting super tired of noise music, and enhypen always manages to exceed my expectations when it comes to creating amazing music that doesn’t sound like i just faceplanted into a room full of pots, pans, and aluminum foil. infinity/10 (get it bc they’re vampires)

JAW ON THE FLOOR … bite me is so good. the choreo the song itself the vibes. EVERYTHING IS TOO GOOD. THE FEMALE BACKUP DANCERS GOT ME SHAKING IN MY BOOTS!!! CONSIDER MY TIMBERS SHIVERED ✅ LIKE?? THE RED DRESSES?? enha move OVER 🫵😡 the little pre chorus where they’re singing/speaking is also pretty cool!!! enha “rap line” slayed PLUS SUNJAY LEADING INTO THE FIRST PRE CHORUS OMG 🤭 OKAY OMW to spotify to listen to the album 🏃💨
