i think a lot of things i agree with are already being said about watcher tv, so instead of focusing on those, i'm going to try to highlight things i think need to be reiterated or haven't been discussed enough.

first of all, i've been a fan of watcher's content for a long time. i followed shane and ryan over to the network after unsolved ended, and since then have made a TON of incredible friends and memories because of their shows. to anyone at watcher reading this, i really hope you're doing alright. thank you for everything you've done to foster this incredible community. and to anyone here in tumblr who's followed me for my watcher content or to any of my mutuals, i hope you're doing as well as you can. drink some water, get outside, and make sure you're getting enough sleep. this has been a rough time for a lot of us, and understandably so.

obviously, watcher tv is a massive change, and everyone who feels upset or disappointed is extremely valid in feeling that way. however, the calibre of hate being sent to the watcher crew is kind of horrific. yes, this could turn out to be a bad business decision for them, but that does make them evil morally bankrupt capitalists who never actually cared about their fanbase in the first place??? honestly, i think this type of commentary is doing a disservice to everyone who's trying to discuss this situation from a genuine analytical standpoint. not only that, but these are real people??? sure, they're on the internet and have probably had people send hate comments their way before, but as a community there are so many more productive things we could be doing instead of tearing down the folks over at watcher.

it is disheartening for content you've enjoyed to suddenly be locked behind a paywall, especially if it's not something you'll be able to afford. i've seen a lot of people emphasizing that artists should be compensated for their art, and i think that definitely applies here, but that doesn't mean people don't have a right to be upset. the fandom community we've built here on tumblr is incredible, it's brought so many people together and overall been so positive, fun, and welcoming to be a part of, so it's understandable that a change threatening the stability of that fanspace would make people upset. i'm not happy about the possibility of the watcher fandom dissipating after this announcement, but i think it's highly likely. watcher TV has created a divide in the fandom, and no matter what it looks like after this is over, it won't be the same. what's going to happen when most people can't access watcher content anymore??? no matter what happens, being in this fandom was absolutely incredible while it lasted.

what's my overall take on the situation??? i don't know how this will turn out for them, i'm not sure the announcement was carried out in the best way (it was hyped up in a way i don't think it should've been, a slower lead up to this could've made it more digestible), i'm sad that a lot of people won't be able to enjoy content that used to mean so much to them, but if this is a business move they think they need to make, then think i understand that. i'm no business expert, i have no idea how this will work out, but i'm absolutely not manifesting their downfall. i think it's very important to discuss this in a civil manner, to critique and analyze the effects of this situation on both the community and the company, but letting that turn into blatant hate and threats to watcher employees is WAY TOO FAR.

these are just some of my thoughts. if you want me to clarify anything or know my thoughts on specific aspects of this situation, please don't be afraid to ask!!! my only request is that this post doesn't turn into a vessel for hating on anyone, whether that be watcher or anyone posting about the situation.

I will not draw NSFW, porn, or fetish art. Sorry! Maybe someday!

I will not draw anything I find might be offensive and I reserve the ability to decline a commission request for ANY reason. Feel free to ask anything if you are unsure.

I accept payment through Paypal and Venmo, payment must be in USD. After I complete the initial sketch for your commission I will ask for a down payment of $5USD, this payment comes out of the final price! Additional Characters:

For lined drawings each additional character is the base price minus %30. For render style 1, each additional character is the base price minus 15%. Additional characters in render style 2 are however the same as the base price, digital paintings take a long time.

I am absolutely happy to do backgrounds, for a price! The price of backgrounds is highly dependent on what you want so I can’t really put estimates here. Please know this can vastly extend the time I would require to finish the piece which may affect refunds. By default, all of my drawings will be transparent PNGs with a solid color BG variant. If you would like a gradient background, those are completely free! Just ask!

First Session megapost!

As requested, I’ll go into more detail!  Not only did I finally get to have my first tickling session, but I had the honor of being part of a group gang tickling none other than @yourlittlettoy !  Earlier in the day at that little gathering, @theswitchfinch and @mikoz6916 had taken their turns getting wrecked and were looking for some revenge, and Cece said she wanted multiple lers so they invited me to join them in destroying her!

She shyly admitted she didn’t want a safeword, so we agreed that when she was desperate enough to say “tickle” instead of “t-word” we’d take that as a safeword!

We started with her in spread eagle cuffs on a bed, mostly upperbody but all over really.  I’m more of a feet guy personally, but in this first session I was pleasantly surprised just how fun tickling Cece’s upperbody was!

Sometimes it was hard to tell who was getting which reactions with the absolute chaos of three lers overwhelming poor Cece, but on occasion I’d notice the other two had stopped to enjoy the show and what I was doing really was driving her nuts by itself!  You know that incredulous reaction lers have where they’re surprised just how ticklish a lee is?  Yeah, that’s real. (At least this time)

Cece wasn’t blindfolded, but half the time she might as well have been from squeezing her eyes shut and her hair getting increasingly messy from all of her thrashing.  However, I did treasure the moments where we’d slow down and she’d plead with her eyes for things not to get worse.

If you’ve followed Cece’s tumblr for more than five minutes you’ll know most of her reactions: loud laughter, “pleeeeaaaaase!”, “stahahahahahap!”, and the like.  There were plenty of those, and everyone in the other rooms at the gathering surely got to hear it live from where they were, but we discovered a new one too!  Eventually certain reactions included her giving this lower groan as if to say “UGH this is so embarrassing how flustered and ticklish I am right now” so of course we lers were happy to mimic and tease her for that as well!  Still not sure exactly what was prompting that reaction, so I suppose we’ll have to do more science later

Any tag readers on her page will know that Cece claims to be an escape artist.  That’s partially true.  She could occasionally get her arms free from the wrist restrains, but she was no match for the fact that at least one of the three lers would be more than happy to pin down her escaped limbs while the others continued to tickle the sensitive spots that couldn’t quite escape

Speaking of sensitive spots, totally don’t read the classified information in the following strikethrough but I noticed her upper inner thighs, neck, underarms, and soles got some great screams out of her

When she got to the point where she was begging and saying she’d “do anything” to stop her current predicament, I curled the monkey’s paw and had her agree to move over to the bondage table/stocks and have that be a breather for her as we applied the new bondage.

A previous session that day had broken the latch on Clay’s stocks, but the new shin straps on that setup were the MVP keeping her feet in place.  The toeties weren’t the greatest but I suspect Cece was a good sport playing along like her toes really were stuck there for a while because she loves it

I’m told one of the other lers was at her head for the table portion whispering teases into her ears to fluster her even more, but you’d have to ask Cece what was said!  I’m sure she’d love to tell you and won’t at all be blushing and flustered, right?

I went to grab the baby oil, at first originally planning to go straight to her feet with it, but then the other two suggested I should come put it on her underarms while they had them nice and vulnerable!  “Well, don’t mind if I do!” was went through my head.  And don’t worry, I was sure to make plenty of eye contact as I spread it, and Cece being the excited masochist she is was all to happy to reciprocate

I did wind up returning to her feet with the oil and got a good amount of finger tickles on them while the others continued with her upperbody, but I only got about five seconds of hairbrush tickles on one of her feet before the other slipped free from the previously-broken stocks and our session’s timeslot was up!  I think we need more time with that next time, don’t you?

While we were cooling down, Cece was saying "I hate you guys” and she was totally for real and we totally believed it, it’s not like she loves being a ticklish masochist or anything, right?

I did throw in a nice little foot massage during the cooldown, I hope you liked that Cece

so rough idea of grown up june's story which is lowkey just me bullying shivaani is her going into the government.

basically what happens is that seth, as he gets older, gets increasingly less predictable and more 'rogue'. He's still under the orders of the AISE but he isn't the perfect agent anymore. He's reckless and more... deadly? Aggressive, if you will.

anyway the AISE has always used his family as a way to control seth and they know that shivaani is a little too old to be trained into an agent, so they set their sights on June who's 19 and in college in America at the time. The timing is pretty good too because Seth was on a mission in America at the time. They recruit June with some not so ethical ways and train her into an agent like they did to Seth when he was 21.

Seth isn't aware of any of this until he starts going rogue again and June shows up and basically says he needs to chill the fuck out or she'd have to sedate him. Cue really long silence and a shit ton of mental trauma !!

nobody is happy in this story 😭

Oooh now this is the shit I like seeing at 6 in the morning😃 thank you, I actually really like talking about my taste in music. Sorry if I ramble on a bit too much than what you were expecting tho I'm just really excited.

I'm guessing these don't have to be in any specific order so they ain't. Btw artist names are in bold because it looked too confusing otherwise.

Most of these are either gonna be metal,loud as fuck/chaotic, just weird or sometimes even a mix of all of those.

1. Hand me my shovel I'm going in! - will wood and the tapeworms. It's fun as fuck plus the songs been theorised to be about mental health and how the person singing isn't 'sick' enough to get help. (Which is backed by a few lyrics especially "so I bookmark my DSM cause I need you to remember my place".) It's such a cool and fun song because of how chaotic it is and will wood and the tapeworms are one of my favourite bands overall so don't be surprised if they appear a few times😁

2. Death - Æther realm. You've probably never heard of it but it's really cool. You won't like it if your not a fan of death since that's the whole song. Essential made an album based off tarot cards which is such a cool concept(I love tarot btw) but I've only listened to this one so far. Anyway onto the meaning. It's an extremely positive song about death and it actually applies to a lot of my beliefs on death aswell. Instead of describing death as this horrible thing it's so much more peaceful. With a few lyrics being("if I had another chance to live I think id rather be dead" and the one that follows every chorus being "if this is really death then it's not so bad.")I really hate death being seen as a negative thing because frankly it isn't. It's a comforting concept. at the end of the day,no matter what you do,no matter how you live, death is going to come for you. And you know what that's ok. It's one of my favourite songs for this reason. And I know not everyone will agree with me but that's fine.

3. Per Aspera ad inferi - Ghost. I will just quickly mention, they are a satanist band,if you're not into that then ya know don't be mean,their songs go hard lmao. Anyway i am not apart of their religion but I respect it. Anyway the name is essentially a play on the Latin phrase 'through hardship to the stars' or Per Aspera astra.' (rough translation btw) whereas the song name instead translates to 'through hardships to hell.' which is so fucking cool. It's catchy as fuck song and I find it getting stuck in my head a lot.

4. Necromancin Dancin - Bear Ghost. It's just a really fun song,chaotic as fukc too. Plus the thought of people just being revived just to start dancin is really funnym. Added bonus that is song is in my doffy playlist (because of the whole controlling people I thought why not be able to do it to corpses aswell😃) it's actually the only song so far to be apart of said playlist but that may change as I go. I don't know if this song has any specific meaning either then necromancer making people dance. But it's pretty good.

5. Take me back to Eden - sleep token. Ok so I've been making this list up as I went which is why I said in 4 that there might be another song from my playlist and what I said could change and it did. This song is in my doffy playlist and it's actually the song that inspired the playlist in the first place so,hats off to it. Anyway yay metal. Loud, amazing vocals and metal? What more could you ask for. It's mostly been attributed to doffy because of the whole theme of being thrown out of this holy place and desperately trying to get back which...(If you know you know.) I fucking love this song so much and I am genuinely out of words to describe it.

And that's about it I think I'm happy with this. Anyway again thank you for making my morning and giving me something to do that I actually really enjoy. Sorry if this is a ramble I just really like music.

hey! so i’ve playing magiquest for a while but i just now found out about people customizing their wands. do you have any tips? my old wand (pink sparkle my dearly beloved) has unfortunately stopped working and i’d love to spice up the one i use in-game a bit. thank you!!!!

well, i know quite a bit about customizing wands (and also fixing wands!), so here's a few tips!

first of all, know what you want to do. you can take a picture of the wand you have, trace over it, draw over the picture, colour it, etc. to get a good idea of what you want the final product to look like. you don't have to follow it exactly, and it doesn't have to be super detailed, but i find it helps me a lot

if you are going to do a full body paint, remember to sand your wand before applying paint! it helps the paint stick easier (not necessary but a good idea)

GET A PAINT SEALANT. mod podge works good. anything that seals acrylic paint (which is what I would recommend using). i wouldn't personally get a spray version? i use one that goes on with a brush and it works like a charm

on the topic of spray, i would not use spray paint if i were you? i mean i guess you can but like

Painter's tape. Oh my god, use painter's tape. Actual lifesaver

when you are first starting out, be careful of the sensors, gaps, openings, and buttons of the wand. the IR sensor at the tip should be avoided at all costs if you're just starting out and/or you don't have a very thin brush (and a very steady hand). it's also important to not paint over the little slit near the battery compartment at the hilt of the wand, and the hole for the motherboard reset button. try not to get paint inside the topper hole either. again, painter's tape is your best friend forever

for the love of god do not do what i did and try to attach fabrics directly to the wand itself. you can? i used superglue and covered the visible trails with a little bit of trim for one wand, but i would not do it again. if you really want to include fabrics or other attached accessories, make sure they are removable, either through tying or velcro or buttons or whatever you'd like

is there a part of the wand you don't like the look of? just paint over it! ive done that so many times (the MQ+ steampunk wand used to be so ugly before i made her beautiful)

finally, honestly just have fun with it. the most charm i see in a custom wand is when i can tell the artist had fun

and as for your broken wand, i don't know what's wrong with it but it could very likely be a battery issue. make sure you always store your wands without the topper screwed on! it's even better if you know how to take the batteries out, but that's not absolutely necessary. there are tutorials on youtube for how to remove and replace MQ wand batteries! (you might need to hit the wand against a surface repeatedly to get some corroded batteries out. it's going to feel awful doing it. i did it on one of my rarest wands and it turned out fine. these things are really durable)

Generally, I'd tell everyone to see a therapist (I'm very tough-love-approach when it comes to giving advice so picture me saying all this menacingly).

Jade/Jean- it's okay to not be perfect, it's okay to not be needed.

Uma- your pain is valid but so is everyone else's. You should communicate more openly.

Statler- take a break. You deserve it.

Wanda- you think everything is dandy, but ignoring your problems doesn't make them disappear.

Kai- eat your veggies. Please. Take better care of yourself.

Travis- sometimes it's better to talk things out instead of bottling it all up.

🌈 RAINBOW - what advice would they give to their younger self?

🌪️ TORNADO - what is the biggest change you've ever made to them? how have they changed from their original version?

Jade/Jean- I think J has always been J in a way. They were the first character I created for dropout and I've always had their character very clear. There's one thing that's spoilery to say but I did change their main conflict.

Uma- wasn't a tattoo artist originally, just a struggling artist trying to get through life. Uma wouldn't really want a life in which they didn't work through art, so tattooing was a very fitting solution (I was also cleaning one of my tattoos when I thought of it lol).

Statler- has probably changed the most? They used to be very stuck up and unkind they were honestly a little annoying to write? Their high school version retains some of those qualities but I like this self-sacrificing version of Statler much more.

Wanda- Gabi's dad was an important character in Wanda's plot but to my own daddy issues I completely erased him from existence lol.

Kai- wasn't originally into the whole sleeping around thing lol. They completely rejected people, even the idea of friendship. Kai atm is much more approachable, they want to be around people (but not too much).

Travis- there used to be no grievances between Travis and MC. He was the third best friend but as I developed his backstory... things changed. It's made his entire disposition towards MC generally more angry.

🌠 SHOOTING STAR - if they could make any wish with no repercussions, what wish would they make?

Jade/Jean- unparalleled success and recognition. Also enough motivation to finish their book.

Uma- inspiration to finally create a painting worthy of being in an art gallery.

Statler- world peace + the ability to heal and bring happiness to those they care about.

Wanda- to change the past.

Kai- to travel the entire world for the rest of their life.

Travis- complete control over his own destiny and the ability to shape the future.

☄️ COMET - what do people assume about them? are they right?

Jade/Jean- J is always confident and has their life together. It is accurate to an extent. While J exudes confidence, they also struggle with their own insecurities, moods, and past regrets.

Uma- people often see Uma as carefree/careless and aloof. Uma is indeed a little serious toward strangers, but this is not the case with their friends. They also have a deep emotional complexity beneath their carefree exterior.

Statler- their life is perfect, as Statler themself is perfect. People also assume Statler is always the dependable and caring friend. They are most definitely not perfect, nor they have had the perfect life. Statler's caring nature is genuine, but they also grapple with their own challenges, including Noir.

Wanda- people tend to think Wanda is careless and naive due to her bubbly/vibrant personality. Wanda generally portrays a positive disposition, but she faces her own struggles as a single mother and has her own set of concerns.

Kai- a carefree fuckgirl/boy who doesn't seem to care about anything or anyone but themself. In reality, Kai's adventurous spirit hides deeper emotions, and their relationships have more depth than meets the eye.

Travis- people assume Travis is cold and unforgiving. Though they are partly right (he is somewhat spiteful) Travis' thought process is a little more complicated than that.

The flight went... idk we landed safely so i guess i cant complain LMAO. Did not manage to sleep and we arrived in the early morning, except it's summer here and my body refuses to sleep when the sun's out so instead of getting to catch up on sleep after getting home I just curled up in my bed and spent the next 5-ish hours phasing in and out of existence 😭

Im so so happy everyone seems super hyped for the HOTGUY COMICS Zine!!!! Ive been working hard to keep it running smoothly and my fellow mods have been doing some absolutely INSANE work, especially on the various graphics. Somehow our team ended up with three graphic designers in three different directions and then me as the one writer/editor SKDBSKNDKSD so we've got a ton of our bases just automatically covered. Its been a lot of fun to mod so far and i cant wait to see who else applies!!!!

OOF sounds like the plane ride home wasnt quite so pleasant as the first one there 😭😭😭 glad it went safely though!!! Oughhh and that sounds so brutal with the summer, too-- VERY different from ice storms 😂😂😂😂 we were fine luckily, heating and everything stayed perfectly intact the entire time, and the temp has started rising again so the ice is melting, which is great bc i need to order groceries LMFAOOOOO

I honestly hope that this hellsite doesn’t kick the bucket anytime soon.

Like for the first time in a long while, I have found my people and space where I can just be me with other people outside of close irl friends and my family. In school I longed to find someone who shared the exact same amount of passion for the things I loved and I found it here. I chose to come here because all other social media sites felt like a god damn shitshow in regards to drama and all other stuff. I don’t feel like tons of eyes are watching me and judging me for things way out of my control.

Also as an intermediate artist I’ve found that Tumblr isn’t as nasty as other sites. Like on tiktok, you’ll have random people giving unwanted criticism and then bully you for your art style and call it “art lore” when it’s not up to their standards. This hellsite had its era of making fun of young artists. Yeah there might still be some hate but I rarely see it. I was so nervous after posting my first piece of fanart to the internet and seeing all the support and love for something I made, made me really happy cause I’ve always been shy about my work and sharing it with other people and seeing love and support means so much to me.

Also I would hate to lose all my moots. You are all so important to me no matter how little we talked. I won’t know where else to find you as this is the only site I’m on. Despite how parasocial our relationships are, you are all my kindred spirits. The same sentiment applies to all my followers. You are all amazing and I parasocially love you and think you’re cool.

If this site does go down like Titanic, I fully intend on going down with it. I’m not getting on that life boat. I will be with the fish, lost to time and only a faint memory to those who know me.

I had hoped that this site would still be here when I hit forty but I guess not. Hello, I hope this isn't too random/ rude, but I have a question. What's it like to be an illustrator without studying illustration in university? Do you think it's an obstacle or does it not matter at all? Do you wish you had studied it in school? I've been thinking about my future a lot and it's so difficult to find information about this field. Anyway I love your illustration work! I'd be happy to get any answer you wanna give me

It is not random or rude no worries, I'm happy to reply. (tho expect typos because english is not my first language and it's the end of the work day and i'm too tired to re read what i write)

Just a little context, the things I will say here are about my own experience as a woman that was born and raised in Chile, south america and born into a low income family.

So short answer is: it doesn't matter at all. You can have whatever profession and become and illustrator.

Longer answer: You must be strategic and be really passionate because there are a lot of things to be learned and sacrifices to be made to make things happen.

Hell, I haven't even "made it" myself yet, I am just at a more advanced point but I'm not like super economically comfortable or even known in the illustration community.

Anyways, I decided to study strategic design because i knew my context and i knew i needed a degree to be "someone" and advance in my life, however i'm also very stubborn and i'm the type of person who will follow her dreams and do whatever she wants! so it should be something that would give me tools for both my dreams and life itself (jobs and such)

If you're from a first world country you probably have the option to go to schools of animation or illustration that are pretty good and can get you faster on the industries you're interested. That was my dream to be honest i wanted to study animation, but here there aren't many (or any) really good schools that teach contemporary or entertaiment arts, it's all very old and around the "bellas artes" kind of thing. That wasn't my thing so if I'm going to get into debt to study I thought, hey at least design will give me tools that can help me read my goals and also get to know interesting people. so that's what i chose.

BUT in design you don't draw at all, I knew it, and I knew what my end goal was: being an illustrator. So from day one in university I was always trying to draw and put in illustrations into my projects. most of my teachers hated that i did that but i did it anyways. others were super cool about it and supported me, you just have to know why you do things and not care that much lol

I said something the other day on twitter (i'll add that at the end of this) that applies to this because in the end i knew i needed certain things to be "successful" or even getting into the scene:

I needed to be REALLY good at drawing, like having your style, something to say, having a wide range of habilities that would make people ccome to me when they wanted to say their stories

I needed to be very disciplined because i must find spaces when i'm not studying or working and drawing (for this, always drawing things you like is key lol)

i needed to be proactive and create my own projects and go to conventions and get past my anxiety and not having a mentor or guide.

network, this is the hardest for me but i realized networking didnt need to be a souless thing, in my case it just meant i tried my best to get to know my peers and other artists and be friendly even if we werent FRIENDS, if we're friendly and cool enough we will recommend each other for jobs.

YEAH so to do naother short answer: Yeah i wished i had had the opportunity to go to a cool school like calarts or gobelins etcetc but that wasnt my reality so no i do not regret my choice because it was the best in the context i was in, i wouldnt worry too much about it either because in the end even you've a degree but suckass at drawing or you're just not someone who knows what they need you to know you won't get hired.

and yes it is difficult, but i don't think anyone expects illustration and arts to be an easy career, i've had my breakdowns (manyyyy) and it's ok to do other things and expand your possibilities but it's also what i'm passionate and it has made me live things i wouldnt otherwise so no ragrets.

just be proactive, draw a lot, draw more, learn things that are useful for the specific field you're interested in (i'd say that choosing something to be your main focus helps, like children books story boarding etc, so you can create a good portfolio) and get in touch with people who work in these things you're interested, make friends, learn from them...

yeah! and good luck, it's all about that shonen protagonist mentality, never give up!!!

How did you get started in make up and how did you turn it into a full time job? We’re you always freelance?

i wrote up a whole thing for this yesterday but then tumblr ate it so here's round two lmao.

so, i started having passion for makeup in general when my sister used to give me makeovers as a kid and then when i was living my scene queen lifestyle on myspace in the early aughts. then later in highschool i got into it more in general and liked putting it on other people, not realizing it it could be a career until college. i initially went to school to audition for my bfa in acting but then decided against it and majored in theater design. sort of carved my own path because i was the only person who wanted to do makeup for theater and film in my department. it wasn't until people were asking me to do their makeup and hair for headshots that i was like 'oh i can make money doing this' so by my senior year i was doing a lot of headshots and by the time i graduated i had designed and applied makeup for almost all of my schools productions and done some short films. while i was in college (and a few years out of college) i worked for sephora which is where i attribute a lot of my gained skill. i learned how to do makeup on every skin tone, type, bone structure, eye shape -- etc. i learned about hygiene, color theory, placement, blending etc. everything. people say they're 'self taught' but most artists are products of their artistic enviornment -- sure i taught myself how to do makeup but only because i learned how to do it from everyone around me. since i developed friendships with a lot of people in my field in college i ended up getting recommended and put up for a lot of work or recommended as a personal artist for some people. this was all happening while i was working at sephora. i eventually left sephora to pursue freelance artistry while also working for a couple of brands as a freelancer as well. my career was on a very upward trajectory until covid hit and then i sort of had to restart in some ways. a lot of being successful in this industry if you don't have a big IG following is by word of mouth. it's very a much a 'who you know' which seems so annoying to say but it really is who you know and who you meet and who is gonna say your name in different rooms. but also, it's a VERY rough industry because money is not always guaranteed and neither is the work. even this month i was like 'uhhhhh' cause i didn't have anything lined up and then BOOM, got an offer for two weeks from now for a week long job with a good rate. if you have any more questions you wanna ask me, if this is a career path you're interest in -- let me know you're username and i'm happy to DM you to chat about it!
