Dinner for Two

“Well don’t you look beautiful.” Harry softly smiled, eyeing his girlfriend as he swung open the door to his apartment.

“Be nice.” She pouted as she felt anything but beautiful as she stood before wearing one of his hoodies and leggings, a messy bun and not a ounce of makeup on her face

She playfully shoved him away as he pulled her body into him, but he quickly pulls her back in, giving her a tight hug and a couple quick pecks.

Y/N had a tough week.

She did poorly on an exam, struggled at work and even got in a small fight with her roommate and it was all just piling up with all of the stress she already had, so her date with Harry has been the thing helping her get through the week, Harry always knew how to make her feel better.

“You really do look beautiful.” He added, intertwining their fingers and bringing her hand up to his lips and giving it a quick kiss, “missed you so much, lovie.”

“I missed you too.” She replied, her free hand going around his bicep and leaning into him, pressing a soft kiss onto his ship tattoo, “So, so much.”

“Come on darling, I got a surprise for ya.” He whispered, kissing the top of her head and began leading her to the kitchen.

She let out a soft gasp at was laid out before her, a literal candlelit dinner appearing to be be set by the heavens, a bouquet of flowers laying on the counter which Harry walks over and kisses her cheek as he hands them to her.

She opened her mouth to speak but he shook his hand, giving her a loving smile as her hand a tug, leading them to the kitchen where she was met with a home cooked meal, nearly completed accompanied by two wine glasses filled with rosè.

“Harry-“ she whispers, heart glowing as she looked at the man, setting down her flowers on the counter and quickly wrapping herself in him, “this is so sweet, you did all this just for me?”

“Just for the most amazing girl in the world.” He winked, giving her a quick passionate kiss.

He suddenly lifted the girl, making her let out a loud squeal as she gripped onto his shoulders causing him to let out a low chuckle and placing her on the counter, standing between her legs and giving her another quick kiss in the cheek before moving back to the meal to finish it.

She admired him carefully, watching his large hands carefully cut the vegetables and place the meals delicately on their dishes, making everything look perfect as he prepared her favorite meal.

They stayed like that for a while, Y/N fondly watching as he would pull various things out of the oven watching the gleam in his eyes as everything finally came together and placing it on the table, not letting her move or help with a thing.

“Are you ready to eat, my love?” He smirked, stepping in between her legs, kissing her gently.

She bit her bottom lip and nodded quickly, pulling him closer and nuzzling her face in his neck, pressing a soft kiss to the skin and his hands sneak under his hoodie she was wearing and rubbing her back.

“Thank you for doing all of this for me.” She whispered, sliding off the counter and heading to the table where they sat across from one another.

Harry simply nodded, expressing how much he wanted to take care of her and let her ease her pretty little mind after the week she went through. And that he made sure of.

They ate in a comfortable silence, the only sounds being words of praise and admiration coming from Y/N towards Harry’s cooking, just making Harry blush and mutter a soft thank you, his heart swelling at the beautiful girl sat across from him who, even after all this time, still gets his heart pounding.

Not much time later, the two finished and began cleaning up, much to Harry’s protest at first, telling her to go straight to his room and pick out a movie for the two of them but she insisted, playfully pouting as Harry quickly moved, not letting her really do much work.

As she began putting away leftovers, that they will likely be digging into in a few hours, something caught her eye in the fridge that she quickly pulls out with a mischievous smirk, grabbing the bowl and sitting up on the counter with it, staring at Harry’s broad back as she scoops on the contents with her finger.

The light giggle makes Harry perk up, turning around and seeing his love sitting up on his counter, scooping up the cookie dough he whipped up early with her finger, licking the substance off.

“Darling!” He laughed, rushing over to her and ‘trying’ to pry the cookie dough away, but the laugh coming from her was too gratifying to actually take away, “that was supposed to be a surprise for when we get hungry later.”

“Well it’s still a great surprise.” She giggled, scooping it up and staring up at him as she sucked the cookie dough off her finger, watching his eyes go dark before her.

“Yeah?” He muttered, his voice suddenly much lower, “taste good?”

“Mhmm.” She squeaked, slowly nodding as she heat up quickly under his stare, legs spreading for him to stand between as he stepped closer.

“Let me try.” He whispered, taking her tiny wrist in his hand and dipping it back into the dough.

She let out a shaky breath, contains her whimper as he coated her finger in the mixture before bringing it up to his lips as her finger enters his mouth, the feeling making her stomach clench.

He pulls back with a smirk, eyes shutting with delight and his ego growing as he seeing the effect he still has on her and dipping his own finger into the bowl now, coating it before lifting up between them.

Both of her hands wrap around his much larger wrist before he could say a word, her tongue licking up his finger and cleaning it, eyes glued with his.

“Okay, fuck this I can’t wait anymore.” Harry grumbled, grabbing the bowl and throwing it back in the fridge before grabbing his love and throwing her over his shoulder, causing her to let out a loud laugh.

Harry always knew how to make her feel better.

On hindsight, maybe it wasn't the best idea to reveal your name to two lunatics who had fed you something from a blood bag at 11.54 pm in the middle of a quiet, isolated alleyway.

"Hoseok? Nice to meet you, Hoseok. I'm Kim Namjoon, and this is Kim Seokjin. Do you remember what happened to you?"

“I—”

“Seriously. Just tell him like I did you. It's like pulling off a band-aid, better fast than slow.”

A heavy sigh was Namjoon's response to Seokjin's interjection. "I think this is a bad idea, but alright. Hoseok, you nearly… well… you did die. I saved your life the only way I could. By turning you into a vampire."

On hindsight, maybe it was a really, really, really bad idea.

One unfortunate near-death later, Hoseok finds out a few things: One, vampires are real. Two, they don't sparkle. Three, a war is brewing and he's landed in the middle of it.

okay so I love this fic to the ends of the earth and back. It starts out as Hoseok centred when he is turned into a vampire but then starts to focus on other characters and storylines as well. The Taekook in this is very slow burn but seeing the evolution of their relationship killed me. This fic reads like a full ass novel and I highly highly recommend giving it a read.

Or, Taehyung's been trying his hardest to avoid Yoongi's criminal life for a long ass time, but a cute kid and his infuriating father keep pulling him deeper into the mix.

Mob boss JK but soft mob boss with his son I cannotttt. Watching the evolution of Tae and JK’s relationship was hella cute and fun. Also taekook with kids is just so soft omggg.

Another shorter one but its so sweet. Jungkook has a little bb son and Taehyung is helping his bestie raise his son and they get mistaken for a couple.

Summary: Taehyung makes a bet, the forfeit of which is getting his dick pierced.

He loses the bet.

Good thing the piercer has nice eyes. And face. And hands. Not so nice that he seems to keep laughing at Taehyung, but you can't have everything.

This one is also hilarious omg. Tae getting his dick pierced was never something I thought I would read but here we are. Warning, this has a lot of smut so if that’s not your thing don’t read. 

You’re So Special by miniimin 

Summary: Sometimes you find your soulmate in the form of a dirty kid on the playground. Sometimes it takes a little longer to figure it out, but that's okay - in the meantime, you have a best friend.

(Or: Jeongguk falls in love before he knows what the word means. Taehyung spends all his years teaching him.)

This is one of the absolute sweetest fics I have ever read. It follows Tae and Kook as they grow up from little kids to uni and its so sweet. If u want something wholesome and makes u feel things, read this. 

Fall Asleep (Fall For You) by drannie 

Summary: “They say when you fall in love you can’t fall asleep, but now that I’ve met you I feel like I finally can.”

A University AU where Jungkook and Taehyung become roommates. But Jungkook has insomnia and can't fall asleep with other people and Taehyung can't fall asleep alone.

oh boi is the angst real w/ this one. It is one of the best taekook fics on ao3 for a reason. I highly recommend giving this one a read. 

Chemistry by taecheeks

“Virgo,” Jungkook responds without thinking. He frowns, glaring. “Why?”

This one is longgggggg. Basically JK tutors Tae and everything progresses from there. Honestly this fic has a lot of elements to it and I really just love it. It deals with a lot of different themes like child abuse, panic attacks, and many other things so if any of that upsets you, this fic may not be done for you. The entire series is is really cute tho plz read.

A canon compliant fic rec and boi is it will written. Basically tae becomes dependent on JK’s body heat which ik sounds weird but its a really goof fic trust.

Same author as the fic above and just as amazing. Not canon compliant this time and this now JK has problems w/ body heat. Hella recommend this author is fantastic.

Summary: Chopa the corgi needs to be sent to dog school, and it just so happens that his trainer is, in Kim Taehyung's opinion, the finest man out there.

Too bad he's already got a boyfriend.

Okay so this one I was skeptical to read but I’m real happy I did. This fic was sooo good, the build up was killer and I really enjoyed it. There is quite a bit of smut in this one, you have been warned.

Summary: "The sound of the crowd screaming is deafening. After four years, he should be used to it, but today he needs silence more than ever. Still, Taehyung smiles, because if there's something he's learned how to do is smiling even when he feels like dying."

This one hurttttttttt. If you are in the mood for some angst and sadness here is the fic for you. Happy ending tho and honestly it’s a really good fic. Also the yoomin spinoff is *chef’s kiss*.

Summary: Jungkook is painfully shy and he wants to do things with his boyfriend Taehyung.

(Or: the kind of slow burn you never knew you needed.)

AWWW this one is the sweetest omgggg. This brings an entirely new meaning to slow burn and it is so precious I can’t. 

i wanna come put your lips on mine by locks

Summary: Taehyung glances over at him and with the light hitting the side of his face, throwing shadows over his face, Jeongguk can't bring himself to be that bothered about their date. Sure being alone would have been nice, but he thinks this is nice, too. He's with Taehyung, they got their dinner and movie. Just maybe next time they hopefully won't have his brothers as chaperones.

And when Taehyung puts his head on Jeongguk's shoulder later, he can't bring himself to be that mad at all, actually.

Or, it turns out Taehyung and Jeongguk share the same brothers: Fraternity for Jeongguk, and for Taehyung, well, blood.

This is another sweet fic. JK and Tae trying to date behind Tae’s brother’s backs is kinda hilarious and adorable.

I think I prefer rainy evenings. sunny days are usually wildly hot and I really hate being hot and sweaty. rainy evenings are nice because they can be any temperature and I will still probably be comfy. FRIDAY JUNE 30TH, 2017 CON!

ok so i read your post and im going to reply now mr holmes bakehouse is so good we should go sometime the donuts are helllla good like theyre actually worth but the cronuts are not. also ya san tung is really good its like my dad’s favorite chicken place allison probably knows it because cantonese. also wait where is the swing i didnt know there was one in SF we hella tried looking for one and were unsuccessful. like everytime we look for one of those landmarks we cant find it and we’re like ok it must be gone now or something also i laughed at your dog story HAHA so many dude 10 is insane poor you. 

is bingsoo the korean snow? mmm matcha horchata sounds gross. i got like a green tea strawberry fresca one or something like that like it was green and pink and it was pretty good. boba guys tbh is HELLA overhyped like its like white people tea i dont completely understand the appeal idk its also super overpriced. ah the park sounds cool as does lobster mac and cheese.

okay so the continuation of day 1 friday in athens. after i wrote the post we chilled a little bit more cause we had free time and it was like 3pm and then we had a concert at 7:45pm so we met up with some people and the first thing i bought in greece was beer hahah it was good it tasted like coors so we got alc and sat in someones hotel room and we drank and played hot seat which was chill cause we got close fast. this one girl who was pretty quiet it turns out her body count is 15 like holy shit thats fucking insaneeee. and then we went out to get ice cream gelato and dinner or like everyone else got dinnner but i wasn’t hungry so i got it and it was called like biscuit flavor or something hAHAH but it was good it was like cookies and cream and cherry or something and chocolate idk how to explain but exotic. also everything is pretty cheap here like it was 1,90 and water is 1 euro and the beer was like 2 euros too doppeee. and then the concert was outdoors and even though it started at 9 it was like 100 degrees and it was sooo fucking hot and it was like pretty boring it was like greek orchestra and singing and i was sooo goddamn tired that by like 10:30pm it was intermission and it felt like YEARS like we thought it was over but the teacher let us go. 

and then we got back to the room and i showered and it feels so good. so my roommate is lowkey shady tbh i dont really like her. shes like kind of fat and shes a hellla big wannabe so she showered and then i went to shower and she was like im going to the guys room you can come if you want and i was like oh are you going now and shes like ya cause she bought this bag of chocolate croissants (weird those exist right) like a potato chip bag of croissants and she was like if i dont go over now im going to eat it all myself but im like tired so i was deciding if i wanted to go but ya. also ok the guys there are only four of them and out of the four two of them have the same name. they are both named cam and they are also both gay like what are the chances. also one of the cams is married we were like holy shit hes going to be a senior and hes 21. ok 

continuing on the ranting with my roommate so shes like lowkey chubs and i looked her up on fb and hella catfish because she does noot look like that at all. ok i feel like in a scenario of mean girls because theres this one girl whos pretty friendly and outgoing and chill and everyone is clinging to her my roommate included and its pretty pathetic. t god shes only my roommate for athens and when we move to spetses we have different roommates. but yeah she like follows her around and tries super hard and acts like a know it all around her and also clings to the guys and then theres this other girl who clings to the fun girl as well and shes pretty and nice but a little quiet and she reminds me of karen. and my roommate would be gretchen. the first girl is like regina except shes nice
