❛   by definition,  a syndrome is a set of medical signs and symptoms which are correlated with each other and often associated with a particular disease or disorder.  i,  personally,  would not liken you to a disease—    ❜      mizuki is far too lovely for that,  after all,  the negative connotations the term held did not suit her.      ❛   but,  that is what mizuki syndrome would imply.  to be such a multifarous disease  —  or as you'd said,  condition  —  seems highly unlikely even in hypothetical terms ...  and doesn't that sound more like a concept of karmic retribution ?   ❜     

factual statements delivered with a flat monotone speech,  her doll - like face remained with an unchanging stoic expression,  the same as always  ——  hakuno kishinami is an entity that most would certainly deem odd,  likened to being some sort of existence that you'd struggle to reach a mutual understanding with.  that was a fact that would steer others away from her,  and should that be their choice,  hakuno wouldn't pursue those that chose to leave her  /  she understand that  /  it was for the best.

mizuki should be well aware of that fact too,  and yet—

—  and impromtu shopping trips seemed to be an aspect of that .. !      ❛   ... questions.  resistance. ❜      that defiant side of her is showing again,  but this was more playful rather than an outright unwillingness to go.  her friend really does know her well,  just as her mouth had opened to protest  ( not used to treating herself in any way,  much less by spending something for herself ),  the blue - haired brawler would come up with the much more ...  acceptable offer of having this shopping trip be for the both of them.  it made such a crude concept that much more bearable.     

❛   ah.  so apocalyptic crises is recoccuring thought for you.   ❜      the delivery of it makes it sound like a purely detached observation of the other,  but surely mizuki would know that this was just a slight tease from the kishinami;  who has a hand carefully raised by her mouth for added effect,  as though aghast.  hazel eyes then blink at the  ( careful,  gentle )  touch,  and make no attempt to slip away.      ❛   yes,  i'm ready.   ❜      the reply came almost automatic,  like a service doll's programmed response for a query  —  that was not a very unfitting descriptor for the taciturn lady.  though,  this was uncharted territory for her.     

❛   a makeover ...  sounds like a bit too much,  doesn't it ?   ❜      not to mention—  terribly unsuited for someone like her ... !
