#that said in terms of true worthiness#its from most ot least spirk -> sasunaru -> msr -> wangxian#tho i DO think msr has had MORE of a broader impact than sasunaru#i think it faded a lot more#sns has that gorilla grip which elevates it a bit#above its true station#in terms of impact on fandom/ao3#ALSO i think sasunaru was a part of a much larger phenomenon#whereas msr really was a force all of its own#its hard to compare#so sasunaru and msr can flip around#but spirk is BY FAR shipping royalty#and wangxian is the new kid on the block#(and it also has the sns thing of being part of a much larger phenomenon#i think netflix normalizing kdramas#made more peopel willing to give live action asian media a chance)#and the netflix effect might go back to parasite?#either way wangxian wasnt at the forefront there#just for bringing in danmei#which is still getting its footing#and relies heavily on yaoi OR broader bL culture#ie live action thai/korean/japanese BLs#which are connected to web novels and manhuas/mangas/etc
