Thinking about aggressive soft yanderes. (Intended to be platonic but can definitely be read as romantic.) They won't threaten you or punish you (unless being used as a teddy bear counts but they'd do that anyways), and they don't take much pleasure in hurting you. But they will use force on you. It's as if they think of you as a ragdoll, but also a treasure that they must cherish whenever given the chance.

Imagine the first time you saw their true self. You had seen something you weren't supposed to, and now they were just smiling gently at you. You tried backing away, but they just stepped closer and closer. Your mind was filled with all sorts of horrible scenarios. Would they kill you? Torture you? Something worse? When they grabbed you by the shoulders, you almost screamed. But angering them seemed dangerous, so you kept as quiet as you could. They held you still like that for a while, observing you with a smile that felt out of place. When they suddenly moved, you closed your eyes, waiting for some kind of pain. But instead, you were being held tightly against their chest.

"Shhh... That's it..." They took a deep, shuddering breath that turned into a light laugh. "It's okay, sweetie... Hehe... This feels so nice..."

They placed a kiss on the top of your head. You could hear their racing heart as they kept you pinned to them. You stayed alert, waiting for their next move. They just chuckled and shook their head, though, before basically shoving you to the ground. They held a hand behind your head so you wouldn't bump it, then knelt over you with a smile.

"I told you, silly. Everything's okay. You have nothing to be afraid of. I don't want you to be nervous. Although it's really fucking cute...!" They let out an unhinged laugh as they entwined your fingers with theirs. "God, I could just admire you for hours... Sorry for being a little rough, cutie. Seeing you so confused was just a bit too much for me. I want to savor your adorable expression more~"

Overtime, you learned they have serious cuteness aggression. Except, it was mainly for you, and they found everything you did cute. You could be yawning or even just staring off into space, and they'd suddenly grab your face and squish your cheeks. You started getting accustomed to being squeezed by them at random. As long as you just let them get their hug in, they'd let you go back to whatever you were doing eventually.

I think this would change a bit depending on their personality. On one hand, they wouldn't shut up while hugging you, taking about how cute you are, how precious you are, how much they love you. On the other hand, they could do everything I mentioned before, just with zero explanation. You've probably been frightened a few times when they suddenly stop what they're doing to yank you into their arms or topple you over. Don't let their silence fool you, they love doing it even if they don't say anything.

The reason for these headcanons, one of her teapot voice lines is her offering to teach you how to dance

She definitely forgets to instruct you at first, she just starts leading you in a dance as she hums a tune

If you have some dancing experience, that probably won’t be a problem, if you’ve never danced before…

She definitely takes it slow, she’s just been dancing for so long she forgets to explain

She will step on your toes just as much as you’ll step on her’s because of this

She will twirl you to teach you how to twirl her, once you’ve got that down she won’t twirl you anymore

She will also throw herself into a dip, if you let her drop she will pout and sulk

The best fix for this is to pull her up and into another waltz with a twirl

Once you’ve learned how to dance she expects you to lead, even if she initiates

Loves big dances, both in number of attendees and flourish of the dance

Overall 8/10 teacher and 10/10 dance partner

Ganyu

She can definitely dance, Cloud Retainer taught her, she just doesn’t dance often

Teaching wise I think she’s a great instructor, at least verbally

In the beginning she gets so fixed on explaining and watching your movements that she trips up

Please reassure her that you’re following okay, she’s not used to being in charge

You’ll definitely learn faster with her then Furina because in teaching you she’s also reminding herself

She won’t teach you anything fancy, but if you go and learn a twirl or dip she will break

You will have to initiate any dances, unless someone has told her she should dance in which case she will ask you

Also preference dancing alone and not in a large group, sweep her away to a balcony during a Qixing event and you can dance all you’d like

Preferes swaying to music over an actual waltz

In the end, 8/10 instructor and 10/10 dance partner

Dainsleif

He can dance, he was the captain of a royal guard, but it has been awhile

Seriously, you’re basically learning together

You also definitely have to ask him to teach you, Furina and Ganyu might offer but Dain won’t

Once you start dancing muscle memory kicks in and it sort of ends up like Furina teaching you

He can’t really explain what to do, so he kind of just drags you with him

By the time he figures out how to explain you’re halfway to figuring it out yourself

If he’s teaching you to dance before the fall of Khaenri’ah disregard everything before this, he is the best teacher on this list

Prior to the fall he will always initiate dances, if he’s attending and event and not on duty, after the fall you’ll have to initiate and he’ll be a bit reluctant

Chances are you aren’t at a formal event, so he sees no point in dancing, so if you want to dance you have to ask

Before the fall it is a point of honor to ask you to dance

Will always lead, another silly point of honor

Before the fall, 10s across the board, after the fall, 4/10 teacher and 9/10 dance partner

Zhongli

Can dance, not very fluidly and it is definitely a rusty skill now but he can

During his prime he was a good teacher, just a little stiff

Now he’s kind of like Dain, the muscle memory is there but very rusty

He will, however, ask Madam Ping to re-teach him how to dance so that he can teach you

So, you might step on each other's feet a few times but he will actually teach you

He prefers to initiate dances, like Dain it’s a point of pride, but he’s always happy when you do too

Will lead or follow your lead

Hu Tao has, on occasion, meddled to get him to ask you to dance

Like Ganyu he doesn’t really like big sweeping dances, he prefers being able to sway together to the music

Definitely a 9/10 teacher and partner only because he’s a bit stiff

Traveler

They can dance, definitely, they’re usually eachother’s partner

They’re also definitely smooth, you cannot convince me they wouldn't start stomping wars when they stepped on eachother’s feet

Both twins will ask you to dance, and if they ask you to dance they’ll lead– unless you ask to lead

I mentioned the twins are usually each others partner, it worked the same way between them– Lumine has been smacked in the face by Aether’s braid while twirling him and they’ve both definitely dropped each other in a dip on purpose

The twins don’t mind waltzes that travel, but they aren’t big fans of partner swapping dances

Aether likes dipping his partner, and Lumine likes twirling hers, but they both like being twirled

Lynette: Twin sister of Lyney and also the more calm one. Everyone loves her equally as well. Got famous for accidentally rejecting an audience member.

Mona: She doesn’t know exactly why her astrology business is under a form of management. Isn’t complaining because she needs the money. She somehow has enough to buy new clothes. Got famous for predicting the downfall of Drake.

Ayaka: She’s the most popular one due to her beauty and dancing. She got scouted by Inazuma Ent. as well but chose Fontaine because she wanted a wider audience. Everyone also thinks her brother, Ayato, is hot. Got famous for her shoe coming off and accidentally hitting an audience member.

She's the type that can keep the audience entertained with how amazing her rapping is. Hu Tao also jumpscares her group with different types of scary face masks.

AYAKA

She used to be an actress at a very young age but decided to switch up her career after she found love with the arts of singing and dancing. She was encouraged by her brother to pursue what she loves and even got her invited to an event where she met Hu Tao. Her last film was shot in fontaine and practiced alongside Hu Tao and you after she left her acting career. The three were deemed as the iconic trio for awhile.

LUMINE AND AETHER

The Twins were the dynamic duo who dominated the idol industry out of nowhere, their presents were surprising but loved by their fellow fans. Both used to work for Celestia Creative until bad blood grew between them and the management team after finding out former idols under the agency have been mistreated. The Twins sent a lawsuit against their agency, won and ended their contract with them but quickly went back into action after Hu Tao recruited them 3 weeks after.

Y/n: You are in your senior year of highschool. Ever since the second semester of freshman year you had gotten a bad rep for no reason at all. You have had beef with Gianna Garcia ( a random oc i made just to make the plot more dramaish 😭) ever since 8th grade. You also have beef with Childe because in the beginning of freshman year when you had a crush on him you had overheard in the middle of fifth period that he had killed you in kiss (fuck), marry, kill and that had pissed you off but to be fair in Childe's point of view you were just a random girl who sat behind him compared to the other two girls who he knew that were put in the game one being Gianna which just fueled more hatred towards her. You are a very petty person and can sometimes take things too seriously. You have known your friend group since preschool but you were especially close to Albedo. You and Albedo have had a closer bond because he was the first person you decided to talk to when you started preschool hence he was your first friend though you did meet the others later on through preschool. You and Albedo both love Buzzfeed Unsolved: Supernatural which is why you call yourself Shane since you didn't really believe in ghosts and Albedo called himself Ryan since he was a believer. Another thing about your friend group is how you named your group chat The real ghostbusters trust since you all have fascination for the paranormal whether all of you believe it or not. The group is divided into non-believers (You, Xiao, and Aether) and believers. (Albedo, Hu Tao, and Lumine)

Albedo: Albedo is a senior in highschool as well. He's been your friend since preschool and is your number one supporter and always will be. You see him as your brother. Albedo is really smart and really good at chemistry and math. He's the kid that parents always compare their child to and ask "Why can't you be like Albedo?" Even though Albedo is smart and a good student overall he still gets labeled as a delinquent because of you and if we're being honest all your friends get labeled as that because of you and honestly they couldn't give two shits.

Xiao: He's a senior as well. He's a very quiet kid and likes to keep to himself but that doesn't mean that he doesn't like hanging out with the group. He doesn't show it but he loves everyone in the friend group unconditionally. Him and Hu tao are also siblings but they do have a older brother named Zhongli who is a senior but is older than the both of them.

Hu Tao: Hu Tao is a very energetic girl who is also a senior. Hu Tao can't really take things seriously and is always trying to be up in school drama. At times though she can be serious and when that happens it's honestly terrifying it's like she's a whole new person. A way of coping for her is humor which is why at most serious times she can't help but crack a joke.

Aether: Aether is also a senior who has a twin sister named Lumine. Aether is the main reason why you're friends with Lumine since in preschool he introduced you to her and had asked you and Albedo if Lumine could also play with you guys which of course you had said yes to at the time. Aether had been friends with Childe during freshman year and the first semester of sophomore year until he stopped being friends with him because of you. He knew that you had a crush on Childe for the longest time and also knew how that one time where he had acted like a dick to you. When he had found out what Childe had said he immediately cut him off and stopped being friends with him. Even though Aether cut him off Childe still follows Aethers socials including his private twitter account which Aether forgot to take him off.

Lumine: Lumine is in her senior year. She can be quiet at times but loud at other times. Which is why she considers herself a ambivert. For some odd reason Lumine had dated Ayato in sophomore year and his sister Ayaka after they broke up. (also Ayaka and Lumina aren't dating anymore they broke up but they're still friends) Lumine is a spiritual person who believes in the paranormal which is the complete opposite of Aether.

teapot voicelines imply Aether looks after some of Lyney's pets for him in the teapot, so in my mind they're co-parenting a bunch of animals together like cats and birds (specifically doves because of Lyney's 2nd troubles voicelines) by this point Rosseland is the only pet that's still fully Lyney's and not co-parented by Aether

for as much as Lyney flirts I think he gets really awkward when he's being genuine about it, which is why his flirting with Aether is always so overdramatic because if he gave a genuine compliment and phrased it like a genuine compliment then he'd probably trip over his words and die from embarrassment a minute later (Aether would find it cute though)

on that note, the one time Aether flirted back Lyney got extremely flustered

whenever Aether gets upset about his travels or not having his sister, Lyney comforts him and looks after him until he's feeling better. he can understand better than anyone else Aether knows what it's like to be seperated from a sibling (and a twin too) even if it was only for a short amount of time in Lyney's case

Aether also helps Lyney with his stage fright before shows by encouraging and reassuring him and helping out with his hair and make-up so Lyney has a few less things to worry about before the performance

Aether (affectionately) hates introducing Lyney to his friends because it's often chaos. you can't tell me Lyney wouldn't perform a magic show for Klee based around her bombs and dodoco or that Heizou or Albedo wouldn't try to figure out how Lyney's magic works. Hu Tao would somehow find out about the court case and try to convince Lyney to become one of her clients, Venti would start sneezing because of all of the cat hair on Lyney from Rosseland and all his other cats and Gaming and Lyney are both so friendly and talkative (or in Lyney's case, he appears to be talkative) they'd chat for hours about anything. Everytime after Aether has introduced Lyney to another one of his friends he feels so tired.

also related but Lyney would be really good with kids due to growing up with younger siblings and all the others at the house of the hearth so all of Aether's younger friends like Yaoyao, Qiqi, Sayu, Klee and even Diona like him. (Nahida isn't technically a younger friend because she's 500 but I think she'd like Lyney too.) Just hear me out, he'd put on magic shows for Klee and Qiqi, he'd chat with Yaoyao and he'd let Sayu and Diona hang out with his pet cats including Rosseland

I feel like they'd have similar taste in literature and would enjoy reading books together or going to watch a play together.

my favorite characters to play are hu tao, xingqiu, yanfei and xiangling! pyro is my most loved element as you could've already guessed LOL

in general, I'm deeply in love with childe. he's one of my overall faves, I just love his voice in any language and his characterization, his loyalty and playstyle. yes and he's hot too, that's a cool bonus.

I also love hu tao because I love all things creepy and unsettlng, furina may very well be my favorite archon, bennett is literally one of my favorite characters ever bc he's so darling and deserves the best, I looooove the twins lyney and lynette, xiao makes me insane with how deeply he cares about us, I also adore cyno and recently kachina made it into the favorites list because she's an angel child I will protect forever!

Genshin Impact Thoughts/Theories No One Asked For, Part 2 (Spoilers)

The Genshin brainrot is particularly stubborn this time around, even with last night's post. So, here is even more inane rambling, courtesy of my garbage brain:

I don't think Kaeya expected Diluc to fly off the fucking rails like he did when he told him the truth about his origins—in fact, I think Kaeya trusted in their relationship so emphatically, he never imagined a single scenario where Diluc would have lost his temper to such an extent, that he would raise arms against him

Throughout Mondstadt's history, there have been numerous people of interest who have struggled for freedom and liberation. Among them: Venessa, the Falcon of the West, and the Red-Haired Warrior mentioned in the tale about Decarabian's fall. I theorize that Diluc and the rest of the Ragnvindr family are descendants of either Venessa or the Red-Haired Warrior

I like to believe that Old Hu and Zhongli were once close friends. And, at some point, Old Hu asked Zhongli to watch over Hu Tao once he passed, and that's one of the many reasons why he assumed the role as consultant of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor

Despite his voiceline about her and their apparent differences, I like to believe Zhongli and Hu Tao enjoy each other's company—enough so, they still choose to spend time with each other outside of Funeral Parlor-related business

I care more about Paimon than the Abyss Twin. So, if the "Paimon is the Unknown God" theory comes true, just know—I'm throwing myself into traffic. Controversial, I know

Speaking of the "Paimon is the Unknown God" theory, I'd like to express a take on it that I personally haven't seen across the internet. It did, however, come to my attention via my best friend. She proposed that Paimon is a fragment of the Unknown God. As in, Paimon is a small percentage of the Unknown God's power and/or personality. Which, to some extent, might explain the similarities in their designs. In particular, the star-shaped hairclip Paimon wears—which resembles the star-shaped portals seen in the opening cutscene of the game

Since 4.0 dropped, I often find myself wondering: what was Focalors/Furina before she became the Hydro Archon?

After all, the other Archons we have met so far have all had some kind of association with their respective element before they ascended.

Barbatos was a wind spirit

Morax was described as the "Lord of Geo" long before he became the Geo Archon

Baal and Beelzebul are described as "personifications of lightning"

Buer was born from Irminsul

So, it stands to reason that Focalors was also something non-human before she was initiated. But, what? Right now, we know nothing. In fact, at this point in time, we know more about Neuvilette than Focalors. As has been the theme throughout Fontaine, we have more questions than answers.

With that being said, I have two (inane) theories about what Focalors was prior to her ascension:

Firstly, I think it's possible that Focalors was born from the Primordial Sea. As in, she is a humanoid manifestation of the Sea itself. Possibly even created by Egeria, the previous Hydro Archon, in an attempt to create a being capable of preventing the Fontaine Prophecy.

Secondly, and here's where I really lose it, it might be possible that Focalors is somehow connected to the previous Hydro Dragon Sovereign. In particulsr, a humanoid manifestation of it's tears. I mean, I have no solid or even debatable evidence of this—except for Neuvillette. Maybe. In his Story Quest, we learn that he and the Melusines arrived in Fontaine sometime after the Cataclysm (and Egeria's death). This means he has served as Chief Justice under Focalors and Focalors alone. To me, the timing is interesting. What could have possibly compelled him to serve under an Archon? Let alone an Archon with some distinct, err, character flaws. Especially, since, it's implied that Neuvillette wishes to hold both the Archons and Celestia accountable for overthrowing the Dragon Sovereigns. Maybe the reason he puts up with her antics is because she's the only connection he has to his predecessor

Loves this shit, heck yeah. They got a costume, decorations, might try to summon the devil, who knows

707 tries to one up his costume every year with the intent of freaking out Yoosung. More often then not, he's wearing a dress of some form. His first holiday with Saeran, they do a twin costume and Saeran is like :T the entire time

Paimon just loves holidays. Her costume is always hot and well put together.

Serval loves an excuse to party. She makes most of her own clothes anyway so a costume is easy. She did go as Gepard in his Captain uniform one year and he was Not Thrilled.

Give candy pls

Beel goes along with whatever the plan is, usually drags Belphegor along. Asmo tries to pick his costume and Beel doesn't want to argue. He just wants snacks

Lavi will tell you fun facts about halloween history, might dress up bc Lenalee likes having holidays. He also just wants sweets but will also be pulling pranks all night

Shin-ah doesn't get it, doesn't care to get it, pls just give snacks. At least his mask doesn't stand out

Enkidu also wants snacks. Will tell people if they want a scary costume, they should dress up as Gilgamesh. Only the truly brave will do so. "I am already wearing a costume. I am dressed as a human."

Not celebrating but will hand out candy to the kiddos

Marie is an older brother and acts as such. He's not big on holidays but thinks it's important for the younger members to have a good time. Secretly making sure Kanda doesn't kill anyone (Lavi/Tiedoll)

Ja'far is required to make an official appearance to any celebration but would rather be working. Spends most of the time avoiding socializing and wrangling drunk kings/generals. He does however always have good candy for the kids and positive things to say about their costumes.

Shinobu would rather spend holidays alone in her office but it makes the girls happy to celebrate so she allows it. She's glad they can still find time to have fun

Miko is on the watch for any troublesome spiritual happenings while also making appearances at the shrine. Publishing house might do a horror story contest or something. She wants to go read books in bed

Boring crowd.

Jingliu doesn't like crowds but probably gets dragged to do something by the HCQ. Would rather be drinking. I don't think they have holidays in prison.

Xiao is watching over to make sure no demon nonsense happens. He doesn't really get most human holidays. Might get embarrassed if someone dresses up as a yaksha. People are loud.

It's complicated

Hu Tao LOVES the aesthetic and any excuse to be spooky and seems to have a lot of fun with Halloween. However, she does try to warn people away from trying to summon ghosts or mess with the occult. Under the surface, she's staying vigilant in case she needs to help resolve a haunting. The dead should be respected and left alone. Stick with trying to find a werewolf, that would be cool.

Kaoru used to love it as a teen, dressing up and causing trouble and binging on sweets. Now he feels too old for that but secretly wishes he could. If S has a themed night, he'll show up in something elegant and on brand (sexy sakura vampire?? the crowd goes wild). Kind of wants to stay in eating sweets and drinking wine and watch horror movies. He did try to convince Kojiro to use a ouija board with him as a teen.
