i was first introduced to jack when I watched spooky month 2. I don't remember how I felt about him then (probably nothing, because I was really young then, as I watched each episode on the dates they came out)

i continued watching the series purely because it became a Halloween tradition for me, and i'd look forward to each one. around when spooky month 5 came out was when I was really starting to dip my toes into selfshipping. initially kevin caught my eye, but I dropped him pretty soon and latched onto jack.

i couldn't tell you why, but he grabbed my attention full-force. it wasn't long after I started selfshipping with him that I had a dream where he appeared, and we were DATING in the dream

i recall waking up from the dream in an absolute state bc WHATTT THE FREAK. playing back the kisses in my head and freaking out bad, because the plot of the dream played out INSANELY in-character. he became the first ever f/o that I became nonsharing with, because HONESTLY how do you recover from being chosen in a dream like that!!!

basically, he appeared in my dreams to make sure I know that he loves me with all his heart, and frankly I don't think I'll ever let him go
