Just finished your new storeshifter au and, if I may add to the angst train, how long did it take for Sapnap to eat in the same place as his partners?

I'd assume he would have some trauma surrounding eating/chewing/swallowing near people after everything that happened with Bad and I would bet that sudden change in behavior would be extremely worrying to Karl and Quackity

yes absolutely, it takes a long while for Sapnap to get used to eating around people again after the Bad incident. Hell, he’d probably have a hard time eating. I think he’d play it off to Karl and Quackity as just wanting to eat by himself but then he’d go off and just…not eat.

also i can imagine this happening in the middle period between the fiancés leaving after the Bad incident and them finding the store, so they’re just traversing through the dangerous woods. Yknow, probably the least favorable place to be starving yourself given that you need energy to walk and fight off threats.

(tw for a little talk of fatal vore and digestion here, nothing canon just intrusive thoughts)

I can imagine that Sapnap has a hard time with swallowing anything for a while. He won’t drink anything warm cause it reminds him of his dad’s body heat when he swallowed him. He won’t chew anything because all of a sudden he’s back to the forest in that fight with that bird and it’s his dad that’s getting crunched in his teeth. God forbid he try eating any sort of animal; the first time he tried to eat meat after the incident it wasn’t fully cooked and the blood in his mouth sent him into the worst panic attack of his life.

Worse yet, when he does have a full stomach, the sounds of him digesting his food make him want to sob. Countless times after the incident he had tried to force himself to eat. After all, he was the only one of his trio who could fight, he had to get over himself and stay strong for them. But every time, he’d dream of a scenario where he hadn’t been lucid enough to let his dad out, where he had died within him, and they only sounds he’d woken up to were the gurgles of his own stomach and he couldn’t handle that.

He survives solely on water for as long as a living being can. Karl and Quackity notice him getting weaker, but he pushes off every attempt they make to comfort him. He doesn’t deserve to be comforted. He’s a monster.

Eventually he passes out and Quackity and Karl give him a very stern talking to, and he’s no longer allowed to wander off while they eat cause they want to make sure he’s eating too.

He has a breakdown when they make soup one night because now that he’s with them, instead of it being just his dad, it’s his boyfriends, too. He can almost feel them struggling and screaming, and the warm, full feeling in his stomach when he swallows only makes it worse. He won’t tell them why he can’t eat. They can’t figure it out, but eventually they find things he’ll eat by ruling out what he won’t. Nothing crunchy, nothing warm, no meat. Karl and Quackity begin to stock up on any berries they find, honey when they can come across it, and whatever roots they can easily grind into a smoothie-like mixture just to keep something in his stomach.

It takes a while for him to get over himself, and he probably still can’t properly eat some things, and he regresses a ton when he eats one of his fiancés for the first time (still trying to figure out how that happens but i’ll write it eventually), but after a while of Q and Karl being ok with it and getting more comfortable, he starts to feel better about himself.

HI ANON!!!! mako has been in my brain so much for the past few months; i just restrain myself from posting seven times a day and instead, i aggressively brainrot in my discord server with a single person in it. (it's me — i'm the single person)

i've been juggling a couple fics for ao3 on him lately (account, mostly atla writing), though tragically i've been at a bit of a writing block. it's probably from overthinking story structures, but trust that i'll get at least a couple of them out eventually haha. the main one is a post-canon fic called rose beds and gasoline veins at 11.9k as of now, followed by a silly 10-chapter 14-year-old-avatar!mako au called snowglobes don't shake on their own which i've spent some time casually outlining (featuring jinora and asami!). there's a post i spontaneously conjured up that would roughly act as half of the first chapter. i'll post the summary if you're curious lol

i've also got a couple random/short oneshots that i spontaneously wrote and completed, before promptly forgetting that i can post them, so… maybe i'll do that soon. one of them is a slightly different take on mako & bolin's family in ba sing se, on some of their cultural differences and traumas through hot pot (which i might expand into a longer oneshot on ao3 after i finish rose beds). the other one was initially a joke about him (who i like to hc as aro lol) accidentally being a really big fan of sex. it's very vague but it turned out kind of angsty in exploring how mako deliberately gives up control in an attempt to frame himself as his mother rather than the man who killed her (coping fr); it's not really up my usual alley, but i might post it somewhere sometime idk. i didn't ever really flesh it out in my head but i have some inklings for a mako & kai oneshot on forgiving yourself as a kid, a mako & lin beifong oneshot on his recruitment featuring better characterization than that spontaneous shitpost i made, and a half-written expansion of jobs in an actually comprehensible story-ish format focused more on pre-canon backstory of him and bolin. also, last night i kind of accidentally started an essay arguing the case of reading mako as "this is a male female character somehow", but that's a whole other brainrot. my friends think i'm insane for wanting to write an essay for fun :P

But also guess what? My Henry IS a lot more than his PTSD and past issues. And I'm sorry if I haven't made that apparent yet in the stories I've posted. Just today, I made a list of story ideas involving Henry to showcase more of his personality: his badassery, his sharp tongue, his kind nature, of course his love for the forest, and his relationships with all the others in the railyard. I plan to post a lot more in the future, just not now as I am in the middle of a huge personal change in my life.

Now, if this is about Toby...well, here's the thing. TOBY IS ALSO MORE THAN A DISABILITY IN MY WORLD. ALL PEOPLE, REAL AND FICTIONAL, WITH DISABILITIES ARE MORE THAN THEIR DISABILITIES. I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT HAVING A DISABILITY IS ALL MY TOBY IS. THERE IS SO MUCH MORE TO HIM; him being in a wheelchair is a minor part of his character. In the end, it's just he gets around. I have no plans to turn it into a angsty, character arc. Yes, in the post where I discussed Toby's muscular dystrophy, I did phrase it in a way that makes it seem like a big angsty part of him. And I apologize for that. If you'd like, I can even make a whole separate post on this, explaining my headcanons for this wheelchair and how it affects Toby, albeit in the most MINOR of ways. I apologize for the way I depicted Toby's muscular dystrophy in that post, and I have every intention on explaining it more clearly if people want.

I've come to understand that actually the Pokemon fandom doesn't have a clue what they want! They whine about how much they want an jerk rival like Blue or Silver all the time! We get Bede and Melli and they're the worst most annoying characters ever and they hate them!!! And not in an affectionate way like they hate Blue and Silver!

Funny, I thought Bede was Rose's horribly abused son who's worse off than N and Lillie combined /s

I think part of it is that, in a cast of characters singing your praises constantly, the asshole ones will stand out more. And I feel like the older games did a bit less of that. There's at least not like... a chosen one vibe to the player character in Kanto or Johto. Your just a kid who keeps ending up in the wrong place at the wrong time.

(Not to mention bland as hell nice rivals making the mean ones seem even worse)

Gonna put this under a keep reading because it WILL get long djcnjsdds-

OKAY SO first some backstory-

On April Fools day in the jeremorbism server (name is a mess /aff) I decided to be chaotic and cosplay as Joel Smallishbeans. It quickly caught on and lots of people started becoming ccs, including my friend @/eevee-eclair who became Oli TheOrionSound.

At some point we basically acted out an entire enemies-to-lovers arc and kinda just. kept it going?? So when that April Fools day stunt became a real roleplay (known as the "orbyline," a cross between "orb" and "storyline") our jokey crack ship "Joli" stuck around. (This ship also accidentally broke up the one straight ship of the rp (Jizzie) so. oops-?)

So that was the first iteration of Joli: an afterlife smp roleplay. It was very angsty and messy but the devotion these two traumatized gays had for each other was mwah *chef's kiss.*

NEXT we have cempires Joli! Which I absolutely adore!! (idk why we call it cempires, I think it was @/sm0lcatfish's idea, but it's an empires s1 roleplay with bonus cc empires)

There's a ton of lore for them (mostly Eevee and her friend Mushy's lore from their au) but the gist is that they're soulbonded DL-style which is already on to a winner and they also have shared trauma spanning 200 years! (Joel was permakilled by a demon and is now a ghost possessing a clay doll, and same demon trapped Oli and his entire kingdom in stone for 200 years so woo angst!)

Cempires!Joli is probably my favorite Joli because childhood besties! They're soulbonds that love to die all the time to spite one another! They understand each other like no one else does because they've been together the longest! They tell each other things no one else knows! They're silly little guys that like to be goofy and tease each other about their other partners! (Lizzie for Joel and Callum for Oli, but in the rp the polycule is much, much larger-)

I should probably also mention the empires s2 version (called "boogalpires" for emps2 electric boogaloo) but seeing as god!Joel hates mortals and Oli hates gods their "relationship" is... rocky at best. It's- it's a work in progress. They'll get there one day- /lh

Hello anon! I got @laikaspeaks in on some of these so buckle up for a Long Post sdfgf-- note that all of these headcanons were a joint effort though and were developed through our conversations

1. My answer: Winter outfits in and of themselves don't have a particular symbolism behind them, but there is certainly symbolism in the accessories! Centaurs often weave hunting trophies or rare found items into their clothing, and certain accessories have certain meanings. There are accessories that are used as courting gifts, gambling tokens, symbols of respect, etc, etc. This symbolism is most obvious in herd stallions*, who will typically have long, elaborately braided hair with many accessories woven in. There are also accessories which denote rank-- stag antlers especially are symbols of leadership.

*’Stallion’ in herd AU is both a gender and a social role-- so someone can identify as either a mare or a stallion while carrying the title of ‘stallion’. The role is traditionally filled by a biological stallion, hence the title, but social roles are not heavily enforced in centaur society. If a herd is successful, the herd stallion is respected.

2. My answer: Random fluffy headcanon: Cass and Eugene teamed up at some point to make Rapunzel a really nice gift and through doing so they became much better friends

3. My answer (but the original idea is Laika’s): Random angsty headcanon: In the og herd AU (there are. a lot of branches) Rapunzel is raised by human Gothel in an extremely small space before later escaping with Eugene, which means that she has So Much Trauma in both a psychological and physical sense 

4. My answer: Random headcanon hill I'll die on for herd au: SO MUCH GENDER ROLE SUBVERSION. Stallions wear their hair long, mares wear their hair short. Stallions are expected to be showy and have big ceremonial fights,  but mares are often the ones with the real strength due to all the practical work they do. There’s so much more XD but overall I just love this headcanon Laika’s answer: Raps and Cass are both touch starved gays that live and die for the mutual grooming even though they pretend otherwise; young colts weave beads into their hair to imitate the stallions’ fancy hairdos (which in many branches of herd au is a tradition that baby Raps quickly gets in on upon having her tiny hjorse gay awakening)

5. Mine and Laika’s answer: Cassandra never knew Rapunzel could string so many cuss words together! Really though XD, Raps probably grumbles and chews Cass out a lot while fussing over her injuries and Cassandra doesn’t even argue because she KNOWS she fucked up. And then they’re very soft and gay with each other in the aftermath because of course they are

genre: not gonna lie, this one is pretty angsty because it deals with my experiences of how the kpop community reacts to foreign idols/young idols (that being said, not everything will be completely accurate!) but don’t worry! there are still some fluffy moments (the members just love you so much and want to protect you from the world)

you were the youngest, and that really sucked sometimes 

like for the fact that the members practically hovered over you and made sure that you were doing your school work correctly and actually completing it rather than putting it in the garbage disposal (which might've happened before) but hey! all the other members were pretty much finished with their schooling so it wasn’t fair the you still had to do yours 

you have made that point multiple times only for the others to shut it down because you could basically make pockets with how full of holes that logic had

or when they fussed over you a little to much, “y/n, you’re not too stressed right?” “you’re sleeping enough right, maknae?” “here eat this, it’ll help you grow.”

you also found it hard in the beginning to really connect with anyone too. the drastic age difference between you and the others was intimidating and it didn’t help that you joined the group three years after they first debuted so everyone was pretty much like family and there you were, kinda just stuck in group that you felt like an outsider in 

not to mention that you painfully stood out from them because for god sake’s you weren’t even korean 

they didn’t know how to approach you either though. you were (still are) young and stubborn and had almost too much energy that you didn’t know what to do with 

and even putting the group problems aside, school was also very difficult for you

your parents abruptly moved you to korea when you were young because of an amazing job opportunity so you were thrust into a schooling society that wasn’t the best 

hell, you didn't even know korean the first two years you spent there 

you were just... different in so many ways and that’s hard on a growing child. some of your first memories were of children laughing and pushing you because you ‘looked weird’ and ‘couldn't speak.’ 

and you pretty much had to deal with that kind of treatment all throughout middle school and even a little bit of high school (even after you had learned korean) 

it was difficult for you to really be accepted by a society that would always see you as an outsider 

so you grew up a rebellious angsty teen who was hard to really connect to because you were just so used to deflecting others opinions of yourself 

and you just so happened to have a passion for dancing and singing (you were also pretty good at rapping) and that was enough to have bighit take a chance on this kid who was barely passing school 

despite what everyone said about training and all the complaints about it, you actually loved it 

you thrived in the type of environment where you had to constantly push yourself to be seen because you had always been pushed aside for how you looked and how you talked 

sure, you missed your parents a whole lot and being a preteen only magnified that feeling, but in this dance studio, in this recording studio, is where you could really stand out in the best way possible and make an impact 

you would show all the people that it was ok to be different, that you could still make it in a society that prioritized their beauty standards and had a set precedent for how you had to look 

you were going to be the one to break stereotypes and actually do something   

but it was because you were pushed so hard growing up, that you set ridiculously high standards for yourself and because of your mentality, if you didn’t reach those goals then you would practically hate and loathe yourself until you pushed yourself to do better 

you grew to have this close looped mentality that was ridiculously unhealthy, but as long as you could prove yourself and succeed, right?

it was that mentality that placed you on bts and when you got the announcement that holy shit, you were going to be the eighth member? you had cried for the first time since you started training

and even though it was a group that was already formed, you went in the confidence in yourself that you would make your group members proud

but that brought the age difference back into play. it had always been the older kids that had picked on you, and you were defensive at first 

it made you all the more motivated to seek their approval though, to make sure that they had no reason to see you as different from them, despite the way you looked and how old you were

and it was probably that fire in your eyes that drew them in

you were this little stubborn ball of energy that would concur anything in your path and still push yourself to do more 

it was oddly through school work (the dreaded work) and your age that brought you guys closer 

they could tell when you were struggling to get work done, and losing sleep over it. it would be the little things that gave it away, like you leaving your toothbrush out or you not putting up the clothes that were washed 

and they each saw themselves in you; burning determination, ready to go up against anything. refusing to ask for help even though you needed it 

so it started with namjoon

he would look in your school bag while on break in dance practice and write the answers to some of your school work on sticky notes and then put them back in your bag 

you would find them later on and frown but accept the help anyways because you really were struggling 

and then it would be jimin leaving you snacks in your room with encouraging notes and you would be lying if you said that didn’t help you through some tough times (you still have the notes today, but no one needed to know that)

and sometimes there were playlists that would just kind of show up on your phone that were made for relaxation and studying and something in you knew that it was yoongi’s doing 

and overtime, through the tiny gestures, they broke down your walls and you let them see a side of you that no one really ever got to see because of the circumstances that you grew up in 

but you were still stubborn, and refused to accept their help if they asked for it directly. which actually led to more fights than you would think

they would scold you for working yourself to hard and you would say “no, i need this exercise.” to which would lead to actual demands from them and refusals from you because its your goddamn mentality working at your confidence again 

right after you were officially announced as the eighth member, that’s probably when your personality shifted the most 

remember when i mentioned about how they fuss over you too much? this was the main reason why 

your looks. it always had to boil down to your looks and it was different when it was only school bullies making the taunting, but when your face was up for debate by the media, is when you got really fired up 

“bts adopts an outsider?” “it’s called k-pop for a reason, go back to your own country.” “is this seriously happening right now? i’m un-stanning.” “wth, y/n’s like, five. thats gross.”

it was these comments and articles that really got to you, but somewhere along the lines it wasn’t just you anymore, it was about your members and what they had already built for themselves  

you had let yourself start caring for them because they treated you like an equal and now you were only hurting them 

they noticed, when you started to spend more time at the gym and studio and they were informed that your grades dramatically dropped because you were so hyper focused on getting better that you were ignoring your own needs 

it was jungkook that finally said something to you after about two weeks of almost radio silence because goddammit he had actually gotten used to your presence and you couldn’t just leave because he would miss you to much 

they all would 

they thought that you would lash out at them when they confronted you about it, but what you did surprised them and you cried for the first time ever in any of their presences

because these people, your hyung’s, where suffering from the backlash that you created and you could see how it was affecting them and it seemed like all the trust and all the hard time spent trying to seek their approval was all flushed away now and you had worn yourself down so much that there was just a kid left who was scared 

so, so scared 

scared because you were different, scared because you had lost the people that you had grown to care for 

so when jungkook came into the practice room to see you leaning against the mirror with your head in your hands, he knew that something had changed 

and when he called out for you, you didn’t answer. this pattern repeated until he was left so worried that he started shaking you and he had to call the hyung’s

it was only when they opened the door and you made eye contact with hoseok that you started to tear up and then it was like the dam that was holding years worth of fear and hardships back just ... broke 

you clung to jungkook and just start sobbing and apologizing because all you wanted was to be seen and accepted but not at this high of a cost

and they were relieved. they had thought that you would close yourself off from them and shut them out, but it seemed like you were worried about that same thing as well 

jin and taehyung almost cried themselves and it took everything in hoseok to stop himself from draping you in a blanket and protecting you from the world because you were still so young and you didn’t deserve the hate you got. you were only sixteen and there was only so much one person could take 

you were small enough to get picked up and since you hadn’t been eating much, jungkook picked you up easily 

and you didn’t protest as he carried you out of the practice room and into the van that they usually shared

you were drained and tired and worn out and just overall exhausted because you never really showed any emotion except determination, if that could even count 

and even though you were all close enough that you shared meals and acted like siblings, you still surprised them everyday and showed a new part of yourself and they just found themselves growing more fond of you 

once you all piled into the van, jin driving with namjoon in the passenger seat, you looked up at jungkook, (you were still held against him, practically in his lap) and then looked back at the rest of them and what they heard almost made their heart stop, “i love you hyung’s” 

there was SO MUCH to unpack in that one statement when it came to you 

first of all, you had called them all hyung’s, which you hadn't done until now. always opting to add -ssi at the end of their names 

and maybe it was strange to be proud of that tile, but when it came to you, it showed that you really did trust them with anything and they knew how hard that was for you

and their planned kinda worked, too 

and even if you still weren't accepted by many, more and more of the fandom was accepting you everyday and that meant something

at least one of them would be with you at all times (which actually kinda got on your nerves sometimes but you knew they were trying to help and you wanted to change, to grow, to make it easier on them) 

taehyung started giving you more and more of his clothes (which you loved sleeping in) and started to use you as his cuddle buddy more times than not because you were the “precious maknae that should be protected at all costs.” “but do i really need to be your body pillow, hyung? at this rate i think your the one who will kill me and then i’ll need protection from you.” “yah, go to sleep.” he would flick your forehead and then you would mutter ow under your breath but go to sleep anyway because you were actually pretty comfortable 

or when seokjin would call you into the kitchen just to try his food and you would groan at having to get up from where you were but in reality you actually looked forward to it because he really was so good at cooking 

and so it becomes kind of like a routine for everyone and they all take care of you in their own way and your quick to try and help them back, even if comes of across as a little weird and distant

like when you would always bring extra water bottles to rehearsal because you know hobi will dance the hardest and you would get worried that he might become dehydrated 

or every other night you would bring water to jimin with a honey cough drop because those are his favorite and it helps to sooth his throat after a long day of training

you also make an effort to contribute to the songs. so you start tagging along with namjoon and yoongi when they go off to their studios because you are also interested in producing and you would like to learn someday and they are all to eager to show you how 

and you actually make an effort to ask for help when you need it (which is kinda big for you) and jungkook is the one who helps more than not 

they didn’t give you time to build your walls back up again and even though you often slip back into the mindset that you consonantly need to work for approval, they are there to tell you that you don’t need to do that because you already make them proud and that you already do work enough 

you are enough. they see you and believe in you 

and really, that’s all you needed, but it was a relief when you started to be widely accepted by the fans 

but you’re here, you were enough 

and although its not always good all time, and at times when you don’t feel like you belong, your hyung’s remind you that they are your family, and that no matter your face or where you come from, you will always belong with them

I’m sorry in advance if there are not as many headcanons here that were in the previous posts.  I ended up deleting a bunch of them because I really want to draw them out one day… So you’ll see them eventually! Well, let’s hope so lol

Ok, so here are some headcanons:

 Mikannie

In the canonverse, when they were cadets, Annie was kind of intrigued by Mikasa. And Mikasa definitely had very strong feelings towards Annie, although she didn’t understand them really well. She was sure that what she felt was pure annoyance and jealousy because Annie got to spend some time with Eren. What she didn’t realize was that both of then felt that they were similar in a lot of ways and were drawn to each other, but never got a chance to know each other properly.

They stare at each other a lot. In the girl’s barracks, in the dining room, in the training ground. Sometimes they end up having a staring contest, and Annie usually looks away first, because she thinks that this is stupid. Plus, Mikasa is much, much more stubborn than Annie.

In Isayama’s Attack on School Castes AU their mutual interest in each other is still there. You can clearly see this in my concert comic lol but I feel like they have a lot in common (they taste in music is similar for sure), although it’s a surprise for both of them. This is a “they could be very close if not for the circumstances” situation, and since this is a High school setting, the circumstances are stupid, superficial and made-up by angsty teens who just won’t let themselves be happy.

After the concert they started to get more and more opportunities to spend time together alone (well it’s almost like the Universe wants Mikannie to happen, smh), and they took them gladly, although both of them tried their hardest to make it seem like they don’t enjoy talking to each other. The tension is still in the air, there are a lot of things that piss them off about each other, but their desire to get closer is stronger.

The fact that they can spend time together and have fun scares them a little bit, but they enjoy it too much. The realization hit Annie first, and Mikasa understood it, err, let’s just say later lol

As much as Annie teases Mikasa for being a total beast (both in the canonverse and in the AUs), she likes the fact that she is this strong and powerful. It amuses her in a lot of ways. I feel like Annie is the type of person who would feel things while being grabbed and shoved (in a very particular way) by someone who she has a crush on, so Mikasa with her brute forceful nature is a good fit for this kink.

Annie teases Mikasa a lot, but Mikasa is too oblivious to that and takes everything literally. She is definitely easier to provoke than to flirt with. It frustrates Annie sometimes because she isn’t always in a mood to poke a bear just so Mikasa gets angry at her – she isn’t Jean, after all.

She does poke a bear sometimes though and enjoys it very much when the said bear reacts and they get to have a moment.

If Mikasa was to show Annie her caring side, she’d be surprised and probably act like she doesn’t care, but she would still enjoy it. She isn’t used to this type of treatment.

If we’re talking relationship development, these two are kind of stuck, because Mikasa is in denial and Annie would rather die than make the first move. Both of them want to be closer to each other, but Annie is pessimistic about this scenario: she thinks that this just isn’t possible with Mikasa. She still keeps giving her hints though, still having a liiiiiitle hope that Mikasa’ll catch them.

However, things do happen between them, because Mikasa just stops thinking when she’s too emotional and when the mood is right. So they’ll get to the 3rd base pretty quickly.

Annie is always slightly shook when they have sex because she gets from Mikasa much more that she expects. Granted, she doesn’t expect much, because Mikasa is Mikasa and it’s hard to imagine her in this type of scenario (especially considering the Eren thing), but Mikasa can be very enthusiastic and almost aggressively passionate with her. Sometimes she is almost possessive. She also leaves marks on Annie’s body.

Annie makes it seem like she’s more experienced than Mikasa just to mess with her. The truth is, she doesn’t understand what they are supposed to be doing either. And she always lets Mikasa take the lead anyway. Annie gives up surprisingly quickly in general with her.

If these two had nothing else to worry about and all the time in the world, at some point in the future they would just realize that they’ve been dating for a while. They’ve been doing everything a couple does without calling it “dating”, but they are clearly dating.

Hitchannie

In the canonverse, Hitch is very intrigued by Annie from the moment these two meet. She genuinely wanted to be friends with her from the very beginning. Partially because they were the only girls in their group and because they were roommates lol, but these weren’t the only reasons.

She also instantly recognized that Annie is not as scary and cold as she seems, although she jokes about how scary she looks from time to time to tease her.

Hitch likes it when Annie gets shy. Sometimes she says and does things just to see her blush with a more-or-less stoic face.

Annie respects and likes Hitch. She knows that she is way smarter than she makes herself look like and is a good person overall.

Hitch kissed Annie while being drunk at least once. She also kissed her while pretending to be drunk at least once.

Hitch talks a lot. Hitch tells Annie everything that happened to her during the day, even if Annie didn’t asked her (and she never does). Hitch also believes that Annie doesn’t listen to her at all, but she doesn’t mind. Annie does listen to her though….

When Annie was stuck in a crystal and Hitch was complaining to her about the boys, she said a couple of times that she’d rather date Annie than any guy ever in her life. She said it kind of jokingly, but she still meant it every time. It felt very good to say it out loud, although Hitch was sad she couldn’t see if this made Annie shy or mad.

In the Attack on School Castes AU they didn’t get along at first, because well it’s high school and prestige means everything to Hitch in this AU (which is why she wants to be friends with Historia so badly). And Annie doesn’t like this stupid “you are treated accordingly to your friend group” rule. So yeah, total opposites.

But surprisingly, Hitch got curious enough about Annie’s nihilism and started talking to her. At first Hitch denied that she ever talked to her and was very secretive, but after some time (when she realized that Historia gives exactly 0 fucks about who she talks to) she started talking to Annie more openly. She even started being obviously friendly with her, catching her to take a selfie, stuff like that. This development confused Annie very much.

Annie thinks that Hitch is very charismatic and beautiful.

And whether it’s canonverse or AUs, they can have casual “no strings attached” sex from time to time. The strings do get attached though, because both of them develop strong feelings toward each other overtime.

Hitch is more experienced than Annie, so she takes the lead first.

Even though Hitch knew that Annie wasn’t as stoic and cold as she seemed, she got very surprised about how soft and tender she can get. Getting reactions out of Annie kind of broke Hitch in a good way, she’s almost obsessed with getting her as aroused and embarrassed as possible with every position and sexual practice she can think of.

The morning after their first time Hitch teased the heck out of Annie for being so adorable and got her butt kicked because of that. She complained about it for an entire day, even though it didn’t hurt so badly – Annie was very careful with her kick, it looked more painful that it actually was.

mal does not deserve the right. 10/10 he would use it every other word just for the effect of it all (scandalizing tyril who is upper class and thinks there are “better, more intellectual insults” and upsetting nia who tries to play it off like it doesn’t bother her, but she doesn’t like it). no rights, we’re censoring mal.

nia deserves the right, but she would never use it. not even in her dreadlord state did she utter it (the dreadlord is also an upper class elitist, fight me) but she argues with mal that she can say it and she would, but scholar vash is watching over her right now and she can’t disgrace him (scholar vash would be vvv proud if she said it, though, don’t even lie). olinda egged her on one night and she whispered it, dissolving into a fit of giggles afterward, but neither of them speak of it afterward.

tyril does not deserve the right. he believes himself too good™ for such a word, so he doesn’t get rights. he says he’s better than banal vernacular, thank you very much, but that’s awfully presumptuous of him and fails to take into account that, at all times he’s 5 seconds away from saying it, now that mal has entered his life. 100%, mal is trying to get tyril to say it by startling him at unnecessary times or just being generally irritating, and he never gets tyril to crack. i imagine tyril does end up saying it, though. aerin turns out to be the bad guy and nia falls into the portal or whatever and tyril is just like “...... fuck.” mal is bitter he wasn’t the one to make it happen, but he doesn’t whine about it until after the dreadlord has been defeated. nia is slightly upset that she was the reason tyril broke his solemn vow, but she also laughed thoroughly at mal’s rendition of the moment and regrets that she wasn’t there to see it.

imtura deserves the right and uses it. imtura curses like a sailor. .....get it? because she’s a— alright, you get it. but yes, imtura gets to the right to say fuck and she says it enough for everyone. if mal ever wants to express himself using the expletive, imtura will gladly say it for him. solidarity. but she’s also sweet, deep down, and she keeps her swearing to a minimum when nia is around. 

olinda deserves the right, 100%. she doesn’t say it often, but when she does, it has such power. mal wishes he had the commanding presence. olinda is generally too intent on finding a solution to the problem to ever dwell on failure, but when she goes into battle and realizes her group is terrible outnumbered? oop, there it is.

kade. oh, my sweet summer child, who swears often enough to rival imtura. 100%, he deserves the say “fuck” because every bard deserves free access to every word they can get their hands on. it’s rather funny that kade has a terrible mouth, since he’s like the golden retriever of the group (barring nia, ofc), but it’s also rather fitting. imtura was taken aback and mal had mad respect after hearing one of his tirades (directed at threep, ofc) and tyril is just like,,,,,, will i ever rEsT? anyway, let kade say fuck.

threep does not, under any circumstance deserve the right. threep will go off if given the right to swear, and it’s terribly annoying. everyone is trying to travel through a small town and then, out of the priestess of light’s travel bag you hear the worst string of curses you’ve ever heard - so many outdated and upper class curses picked up through the millennia and then you hear the most country, farmer swears (thanks, kade). it scandalizes everyone and nia is the poor girl who has to carry threep around. don’t let threep swear, whatever you do. it’s a power far too strong for this world.

what they get a tattoo of...

mal tries desperately to have the ~aesthetic~ so you know he gets something like a compass or a dagger or something equally as wanderlust and vague. it’s hella intricate and it’s probably on his forearm or something. i feel like mal is 100% that guy who has a tattoo for his mom on his chest but is also deeply terrified of commitment so the mere idea of getting a tattoo for someone else paralyzes him with intense fear. i don’t feel like mal is the guy to have writing for tattoos - he’s much more open to drawings than words. he’s all about the imagery. mal probably has a couple of tattoos though - he might be starting a sleeve or something, idk.

nia would deliberate long and hard before getting a tattoo - it’s permanent, after all, so she wants it to be something special. she 100% puts it on her lower back, which she grows to regret because she can’t actually see it? it is probably a flower a drawing of the temple of light, or a light crystal or something. i have a feeling there’s a prayer written in cursive that kind of wraps around the image she has tattooed. mal took her to get her tattoo and he was a proud brother™.

tyril was 100% that emo kid who wrote angsty song lyrics in a notebook, and that has not changed. i 100% guarantee that his first tattoo is a poem or something that he either wrote himself or desperately wishes he had written. he probably has it tattooed on his side or something equally as dramatic. mal wishes he had the flair that tyril just naturally carries. he’s iconic™ without even trying. he probably only has a few tattoos and most of them are small. he was one big tattoo on his back - it’s elaborate and kind of works like a family tree. it’s unique to him - he likes the idea that he carries his ancestors with him, no matter where he goes. nia notices one night that the company is on it, too, and she never says anything, but she’s touched.

imtura gets all the NAUTICAL IMAGERY. she 100% has one of those bands wrapping around her bicep, made of waves. i also imagine that imtura has a lot of ink? it’s what she deserves, and i feel like orcs are really artistic with their tattoos - their tattoos are culturally relevant and she has a story for every single one. mal knows every single story - they get sentimental on night watches. i imagine that imtura also knows how to give tattoos, so i headcanon that she gave olinda one that represents the company. imtura thought it was very sappy, but deep down, she was honored to do it.

olinda. similar to imtura, olinda has a lot of ink. the only difference is that she gets hers later on. there is one (1) person who knows how to tattoo in riverbend, and olinda got a few from them, but once she goes out to see the world? she’s going to the good™ tattoo artists and she’s fulfilling her dreams. i feel like olinda get’s her tattoos in very pointed spots - she definitely has a sleeve and you can “read” it from top to bottom - the story of her life. kade jokes that olinda’s memory is shot and so she has to get tattoos to remember her story, but he also really admires them. olinda has a lot of constellation tattoos, including some of the ones that kade made up. she’s very sappy, tbh.

kade got one (1) tattoo when he and olinda were piss drunk. it’s a matching tattoo with olinda that’s very weird and makes no sense at all. you had to be there, and tbh, even if you were there, it doesn’t make sense. to top it all off, it’s on his bicep so that when he flexes, it wiggles. at the time, olinda and kade thought it was the funniest thing and they died of laughter. does he regret it? kade maintains that he doesn’t. does he know the story behind it? he likes to say he does, but he actually doesn’t. olinda knows, and sometimes she’ll drop vague hints to see if it jogs his memory. kade maintains that he’ll never get another tattoo. once was enough.

modern! au ethnicities

disclaimer that there are a lot of great headcanons out there, and i’m here for most of them, these are just my ideas..

i imagine that mal is indian or pakistani, nia is brazilian or dominican, tyril is japanese or mongolian, imtura is maori or samoan, olinda is latina, and kade is half hispanic, half filipino.

when texting.... (and some handwriting thoughts)...

a modern! au? idk, maybe just an au where they somehow have modern technology? anyway...

mal grossly overuses emojis. his favorites are these: 🤑🔪😎😏. he also never uses proper capitalization and punctuation, and he uses abbreviations far too often. you need a key to figure out some of his texts, but imtura and olinda just know what he means. his philosophy is style and speed over substance. when he writes handwritten notes, though, his handwriting is a very fancy cursive and the care he puts into each letter is amazing. he only ever handwrites love letters to olinda and “i hate you <3″ letters to tyril, though. he did write a heartfelt birthday letter to nia, once. she framed it.

nia is my favorite because she texts like a grandparent, where they format texts like a letter and have perfect punctuation and capitalization. when she got a text from mal, she was very confused by what he was trying to express, but she wanted to know how he got the “cute faces” and mal immediately dropped everything to teach her how to use emojis. she loves them and probably uses a string of emojis at the end of her text as a part of her signature, like: [ the body of the text ] Best, Nia 😇🥰👑💖🌸 but her handwriting! it’s very nice. the temple of light had penmanship classes and nia excelled. ngl, she probably does caligraphy.

tyril uses no capitalization. punctuation only. you can hear the sarcasm through his text. he also hates emojis and memes with a burning passion. he has used this, though: -.-  he did it for nia. she loved it and now every time they text, he ends his texts with his “emoji”. mal teases him because it’s dumb and now it’s a running gag that everyone send the weird emoji to each other. it’s the tyril face! tyril wants to jump off a bridge, but also finds it very sweet? he has people giving him emoji’s? is that like.... friendship? anyway, his handwriting is terrible. glorified chicken scratch. it’s efficient and nearly illegible. perfect.

imtura, on the other hand texts the most “traditionally”. she doesn’t really adhere to capitalization, and she never has the ending period, but you know what she’s saying. it’s decent. she doesn’t like to complicate things, but kade introduced her to memes and now she and him communicate together solely using low resolution memes that no one else likes. it’s very annoying but very endearing. her handwriting is nice - simple and easy to understand. she uses a lot of shorthand and a lot of sailor jargon that goes over some people’s (read: tyril’s) heads, but is smart and to the point.

olinda, actually, is the one to have proper punctuation and capitalization, with little flavor to her texts. occasionally she’ll send an emoji or two, but mostly it’s just... communication. she much prefers calling, and will call you 20 times in a row until you answer. she forces tyril to facetime her and he rolls his eyes but secretly loves it. communication is much more efficient when you can see each others facial expressions, and boy, does context go a long way when talking with tyril. oH! I FORGOT TO MENTION - olinda grew up on a rural farm. olinda chronically says “y’all” and has all of those weird, farm related sayings. kade doesn’t have this problem because he “trained himself in verse” and said that he had to be “worldly” not “farm chic.” anyway, her handwriting is kind of careless in nature - not especially nice, but not especially terrible, either. it’s a hybrid between cursive and print (whatever is fastest is best).

kade texts solely in dank memes and lengthy prose. he is the most chaotic person in the group chat, either bidding the company to draw near by sending them four stanzas of incredibly vague meaning (only tyril and olinda understand) or he’s sending “vroom vroom bitch” memes that mal and imtura adore. the blades book may not have given kade flavor, but on GOD i will give it to him because a bard requires chaotic vibes, even if he has a tragic backstory. you know what? especially because he has a tragic backstory, kade deserves some chaos. give me chaotic kade or give me death. as for handwriting, i like to think that kade has two modes: “drafting” handwriting (chicken scratch to rival tyril) and “final product” handwriting that is purposefully and beautifully penned. he had a lot of time to perfect his writing, being sick, and boy did it pay off.

threep deserves to be in this line up, despite not being able to write. in this chaotic technology au, nia has created an instagram page for threep, and because he’s one of the last living nespers, it goes viral. when olinda and mal stumble upon it they have to laugh because it’s full of really expertly done ~aesthetic~ photos with really sweet captions - things threep wouldn’t say in a million years. the account is only up for a few months and at first the posting is really consistent, and then it suddenly falls apart and the account is deleted soon after. apparently, threep didn’t know the instagram account existed and when he found out, he and nia had legendary fights and wouldn’t speak for like, 2 weeks after. nia made a very shady and slightly vague call out post and it was the first time the company really saw her get petty. the instagram page was the perfect fuel for kade’s scathing and petty remarks at threep, and threep came out hard, making a dig at kade’s writing and his stupid tattoo. threep nearly died at the hands of the two sweetest - kade and nia. it was certainly one for the books.

high school! au

(you are right, anon, a high school au would be iconic™)

mal is 100% a band kid. he has the “i play the guitar to be cool” vibes. and besides, the guitar player in the band is always a little more ~rebellious~ than the other band kids (superseded only by the standing bass kids in orchestra, who had unrivaled chaotic evil energy). plus, mal has a flair for the dramatic, which the band kids have in spades. mal is a little too much of a rule breaker to have been on any teams or anything super structured like that, and while we all know that he’s a heartbreaker, he’s not a popular kid™ because (at least in my school) the popular kids are always rich kids who run in the “right” circles. mal is too cool for that.

nia on the other hand is the smart prep that’s really sweet. like, the girl who’s friends with the cheerleaders and could have been one, too, if she wasn’t so shy™. she’s mostly overlooked in favor of the more glamorous, but everyone knows nia and they’re all like, “yeah! she’s cute! and smart, and nice.” she’s probably in like, robotics club or something equally as estranged but smart. 100%, nia is the gabriella montez archetype. she’s in a few clubs, including choir, where her angelic voice earns her a few solos. people are always trying to give her positions of power in their clubs, but she graciously declines because she’s stretched too thin and stress is a thing.

tyril. i know you all want him to be like, the smart one who’s in debate club and is really charming, but tyril’s social skills are not cut out for that. tyril is like that smart kid who sits at the back of history class and knows all the answers but never raises his hand. he has one (1) popular friend who has been close with him since they were both in diapers, but he doesn’t feel comfortable with their friends so he just kinda sits alone for the most part. he was picked up once by the emo artsy kids, but it didn’t really stick. he likes poetry class and does a metal working class because he can be alone with his headphones and thoughts™. in high school he’s just brooding without the mystery. tyril cringes at his youth. he’s too strong and iconic in his current age, so he had to be cringeworthy in his teen years. perfectly balanced, as all things should be.

imtura was 100% that cool, slightly edgy girl on the volleyball team. she was popular with the students and the teachers - like, this is the student that the school mentions is going places, and yet are also like,,,, “let’s try to guide you over here, imtura. you have such potential! don’t squander it!” and imtura hates nothing more than their incessant pleas for her to be the model student. she just wants to travel the world, maybe join a punk band, and get lost at sea. that’s not too much to ask, right? she’s also on the football team, and she’s team captain. she lives in sweatpants and workout clothes, and they actually really suit her? definitely crush material, this one. she’s probably also throws some killer weekend parties with mal’s input.

olinda was harder to place, but i imagine that she’s one of those hands on kids, taking woodworking, metal working, and auto mechanics classes. maybe she was on the soccer team, one year, but that didn’t really work out. she’s a team player and all, but she likes something with a little more purpose. she met tyril in metalworking, she met mal when helping with sets for the school play (he was annoying the theatre kids, as per usual), she met imtura in gym class because imtura picked her to be on her flag football team (which was a great choice, really), and she met nia when she went to the choir room, looking for kade. she’s not popular, per se, but people know her face and they think she’s pretty cool.

kade on the other hand, is 100% an artsy theatre kid. he’s not the super obnoxious theatre kid, and he’s not the snobby theatre kid either, he’s kind of like the older sibling theatre kid who’s infinitely cooler than you, incredibly talented, but also really down to earth and ready to create an elaborate inside joke with you over the course of the year. he has it all: the tragic backstory that adds flavor and depth to his writing, the kind personality that gets him friends wherever he goes, the amazing vocals that make him a shoe in for every performance..... but he often gets overlooked. why? it’s one of those injustices that just don’t make sense. he’s decently popular among the art nerds, and everyone wonders why he doesn’t get lead roles. a real ryan evans, if we want to go with a hsm reference.

First impression

Let’s be honest, we all got hooked on that reveal trailer. Like, it was nothing, and still is NOTHING like anything Overwatch has ever put out. I wrote the very first Sigma fanfic in English (as far as I can tell, at least) [The title is ‘The sum of all things’ if you’re interested] and that basically gives you a very good idea of what I thought of him at the time. Namely, that he is a tragic character with a broken mind and earnestly trying to live with his broken mind and strange powers. That he is a man who may or may not be aware of the atrocities he might have committed, who has done so much bad despite trying to do so much good.  And then an anon here on Tumblr told me about his datamined lines about Harold Winston, and the rest is history.

Impression now

Don’t get me wrong, Sigma is still a tragic character altogether, but he’s a lot more goofier than I expected (in a good way). He loves food and is a messy eater. He cracks puns. He’s gentlemanly, and friendly, and a bit too trusting, and doesn’t like scientists who pursue science for the sake of discovery. His past relationship with Harold Winston has opened plenty of doors for his character, which I have taken to their most obvious extremes, including but not limited to redesigning Harold Winston as a fully fledged playable character. So uhhh...gotta thank Sigma for putting me on the Harold train. Even then, I definitely wouldn’t be on the Harold train if Sigma didn’t come in to the picture.

Favorite moment

The reveal trailer is still his best piece (and only canon moment, so to speak). I am excited to see how he develops in future cinematics, if he ever appears in them. 

Idea for a story:

Oh, god I have too many. I had an idea for a story based on the Halloween Flying Dutchman skin, where Harold is a captured naval officer forced to be a navigator on Sigma’s pirate ship. There’s a lot of romantic and sexual tension. The story keeps shifting between Sigma’s ghost tring

There’s another idea I had for a Lovecraftian AU, where Sigma gets into a freak accident that causes him to hear the voices of a cosmic entity. And he can hear the cosmic entity speak of its plans to rise up and take over the world, and Sigma, as the only person who can hear it and knows of the plans, has to be the one to stop it before his mind gets completely consumed by said cosmic entity.

And of course, all the numerous, infinite stories I could come up with about how Harold lives again so he can interact with Sigma and Winston and Hammond. I just want those four to be a family. A family can be two men, a genetically enhanced moon gorilla scientist, and a genetically enhanced hamster riding a modified mech of its own creation.

Unpopular opinion:

You could argue me shipping Sigrold is an unpopular opinion. I guess you could argue shipping Sigma with ANYONE in the cast is an unpopular opinion. 

I’m not a fan of Sigma x Reinhardt, but that’s more to do with what certain fans of the ship have said about me rather than the actual ship itself. (Also, can Sigrein shippers please draw them BOTH buff like they actually are? There’s a difference between making Sigma slimmer than Reinhardt, and making him slim)

Favorite relationship:

I’m the Sigma x Harold Winston person. The AO3 tag for them is 80% my stuff by now. I literally REDESIGNED HAROLD WINSTON AS A PLAYABLE CHARACTER. Of course Sigrold is my favourite ship, in both romantic and platonic settings. I could go romantic, silly, angsty, dark, the potential with them is quite literally limitless. And even though there isn’t much canon stuff about them, I’m sure they must have been at least good friends in the past, which makes my ship at least a little bit valid. 

Favorite headcanon

I like to think Sigma’s a dog person, solely because he reminds me of my grandfather, who owned German Shepherds that he named after stars and planets (Guess why Harold in ‘Evil Actions’ gains the codename of ‘Charon’? It’s because my grandfather had a dog named Charon.........look, my mind works in mysterious ways.)

I probably was most nervous for my first fic! And sometimes, for some fics which are a bit different than my usual, I still feel a flutter of nerves. Like recently I was a bit anxious to post Phoenix. Or some of the more angsty fics I posted, like Fall.

I forgot that Colin Morgan played Jethro on Doctor Who and when I saw him I gasped because that was sort of the outfit I’ve somehow come to envision Merlin in in modern AU’s with the skinny jeans with the chain and the t-shirt but also with these badass ankle boots from this one shitpost I saw a few months ago. Seriously every time I read Merthur in a modern setting I envision Merlin as having gone into full gay emo wizard mode

oh i 100% agree that merlin went fully gay emo wizard. don’t get me wrong, love a good angsty post-camlann fic, but (one) of my favourite headcanon’s is that merls went fuck it and decided to study every degree offered at british universities, going in alphabetical order. so now i’m just imagining this clumsy ass gay emo student tumbling into his lectures day after day ft. eye bags that could be mistaken for curtains because this bitch is just as busy as he was in camelot, except now instead of endlessly working to keep arthur alive he’s up at 3am aggressively writing essays about him. getting back to the fashion thing; he only wears black. why? because if there’s anything that h a s n ‘ t changed about merlin over the years, it’s his appalling fashion sense. he doesn’t understand it. what about being,,,,, comfortable? so naturally when he came across other emos he took it to the extreme, with the only exception to this being pride month. holy shit. the first time it happened, the lecture he was attending had to be cancelled because his classmates couldn’t stop laughing. rainbow tie-dye,,,,, top to bottom. that includes underwear fellas (he proved it), because being salty about not even knowing your sexuality was option until many centuries of your life has passed fundamentally changes you lads.

i also like to think that when arthur comes back, it coincides with a particularly rough study session. i’m talking 48 hours no sleep, coffee-energy drink combos, all because of his stupid 👏 fucking 👏 physics 👏 thesis. seeing all this arthur is like who hurt you? and merlin does not hesitate to look him dead in the eyes, hands shaking from a mix of sleep-deprivation and caffeine, and whisper

Yugi

Okay so, Yugi has two modes when his s/o gets jealous: flattered and concerned, and I think whichever he feels is dependent on the situation and exactly HOW his s/o is jealous.

On the lighter side, if s/o is just acting a little huffy/annoyed about all the fans trying to flirt with him, then Yugi will actually be pretty flattered. 

Think about it, he's spent most of his life with little confidence, always being told he's not a "real man" or something to that effect, and even had some moments where he feared that Yami/Atem outshone him in the "I'm a charming handsome love interest" department. So to think that his s/o is jealous like...at all, yeah, it kinda gives him a confidence boost to know his s/o loves/wants him enough to be irked at all the fans stealing his attention away.

He actually won't say that unless a deeper conversation about jealousy comes up, and on the outside he'll usually just laugh it off, quickly excuse himself from the fan(s), take your hand after giving it a light kiss, and pull you away for some alone time to set your now annoyed mood at ease <3

Now, on the more angsty side of things, if his s/o was genuinely upset or acted insecure, Yugi is devastated.

He'd be worried that he did something to cause the insecurity, that he made s/o feel that way, and worry about that makes him so upset with himself!

He'd ask for the two of you to sit down and talk about why you're upset like mature adults (Yugi wants emotions to be expressed freely in relationships), starting with an apology on ever making you feel that way and assuring you that you're amazing and no one could steal him away from you <3

Atem

Honestly….Atem is confused someone save this poor child. He just doesn't understand what there is to be jealous about. 

Atem's a bit oblivious to the fact that he's a celebrity and EXTREMELY attractive. It never even crosses his mind that people might "steal" him away so hes just confused by his s/o's jealousy.

He'd ask you questions trying to get to the bottom of your jealousy so he can "fix" it but he doesn't really understand that its just a basic emotion most people have and it can't really be fixed per se.

Atem remains clueless and oblivious….until he experienced jealousy for the first time himself. He sees Duke flirt with you and all of a sudden he's just like "....oh….OH! Now I understand!"

After that he usually does subtle things to help curb your jealousy. When a fan starts fawning over him he'll gracefully dodge their compliments and questions and instead talk about "his wonderful s/o" or subtly mention you, stuff like that.

On another hilarious note, Atem also gets mega flustered if someone gets….bold with him. If someone so much as touches his arm flirtatiously or grabs his hand, he turns beet red and just yells (rather loudly) that he loves his s/o, or just calls for you like a kid yelling for his parent.

Also, if this is Pharaoh Atem we're talking about and you show signs of being jealous, he’ll lavish you in gifts as a way to show you that you’re his one and only. He’ll also put aside some extra alone time with you between duties but he first defers to the gifts, mostly because he loves spoiling you in general and also wants to show anyone who might be inciting this jealousy that he’s already got a lover he still devoted to. (example: buying you lavish clothes so you’re basically a beacon saying “I’m the pharaoh’s” when you’re wearing them)

Also, here’s a bonus! Since I write a lot of poly-ship stuff, I wanted to make sure those who like my Atem x Reader x Yugi stuff got some headcanons! The above still applies, these are just to add a bit more “poly” flavoring to the subject, so to speak.

Atem AND Yugi

So let's say this is a “Atem stayed and has his own body now” AU. Yugi still has all the fame attached to being King of Games, and now you have Atem with his good looks, ties to famous Yugi, and who’s making a name for himself as a duelist in his own right. Yeah, they’re both going to get a LOT of attention!

Yugi is the first to notice your jealousy (again with Atem being oblivious), he quickly brings it up to Atem, and together they both decide to set any worries you have at ease.

They both increase how often they mention you in interviews, on social media, and to any fans who approach them. They also become more affectionate in public, holding your hand more often, kissing your cheek more, doing less to hide the adoring looks they throw your way, calling you some cute pet names, all of it leaves little room for argument on just how in love they are with you!

Also, much like in Yugi’s headcanons, if they sense that you’re actually upset, insecure or anything like that, they’ll sit down and ask you to talk your feelings out with them honestly so they can address them with you. They’ll do anything they can to set your insecurities at ease and, along with increasing how often they show affection in public, they’ll increase how often they cuddle you and tell you they love you all in an effort to show you how devoted they are <3

Hi, Anon, and thank you so much for this lovely ask! I’m afraid I don’t have any Katie headcanons because I’m not familiar with her story (yet). I do, however have Clintasha babies headcanons I’ve been perfecting along with my best friend since 2015.

We’ve pretty much figured out most things about how the children came to be, mixing comics versions and the MCU versions into one. It’s a bit messy but at this point we are not starting over. We are not. It’s an AU anyway, it doesn’t matter, okay?

(I think this is the place to inform you that this AU is as compliant to the MCU as possible, just because at the time we didn’t have access to any of the comics and Wikia can be a very confusing place.)

The eldest, Autumn, was named after her mother’s favourite season. She was also, coincidentally, born in early Autumn. 

She was born in Hawaii

Her existence is top secret

She doesn’t look particularly much like her parents with her dark hair and dark eyes (though she does look like her mother when she’s older, all sharp lines and deadly precision), which plays into the plot

Her sister, Morgan, is born two and a half years later.

In Canada

Which is fitting. She’s a sweetheart.

Later on, after they’ve all come to terms with their identities, things get more domestic and fluffy

After the girls get to know each other better they grow really close (and really protective of each other)

Kate’s reaction to finding out Clint and Natasha not only banged (complicated situation, she thought they were only pining after each other, don’t judge her), but also produced not one, but two babies, years ago, is a continuous chant of “What the fuck”

Kate is a combination of the awesome older cousin and the vodka aunt

Morgan really loves Kate

They have sleepovers often and Kate has a room in their house.

She approves of their love interests

There’s a Lucky in the picture too, and as much as Autumn pretends to be annoyed by the dog, she loves him.

Morgan and Lucky are inseparable. Yes, she does feed him pizza, occasionally. (As long as Nat isn’t watching)

I have this personal headcanon:

Since they were “homeschooled” but they’re still incredibly smart, and considering the trauma they’ve been through, Nat and Clint agree to enrol them in high-school.

Morgan is thrilled but Autumn is definitely not. Au is a senior and Mo is a sophomore.

They go to Midtown School of Science and Technology

Where they meet the Spidey gang. 

(Might be for a mission, might be to experience normal childhood, who knows 🤷‍♀️)

Do you have any favorite roceit headcanons / an ideal roceit fic in your head?

oh boy anon, you just opened a can of worms. this ship is one of my absolute favourites, so here are some ideas/tropes i think are neat!:

four words: hades and persephone au

deceit and roman having a romeo and juliet kind of dynamic, stowing away in the middle of the night to spend time together, and then pretending not to care for one another in front of the others (this could totally end up being angsty a la monster by @impatentpending- 10/10 fic btw!- but i also enjoy imagining a more fluffy scenario where the other sides have caught on months ago but just go along with it anyway because they know how these two love their dramatics).

i’m also a big fan of when people depict their relationship like “we’ve been married for years and it just never came up/you never asked. what do you mean this is a surprise?” 👌👌👌

or as the ultimate slow burn! (i’m a big fan of these if you cant already tell by my bfu au). they’re both complicated and have their issues and despite that, slowly learn to accept their feelings and find peace with the fact that they deserve love regardless of their insecurities.

but alSO: whatever the opposite of a slowburn is. relationship speedrun. from the get-go they’re flirting and high-key trying to woo one another, while in private they fluster and pine like a couple of lovesick puppies. roman finding himself waxing prose about deceit and playing ‘he loves me he loves me not’ with any flower he gets his hands on, while deceit starts absentmindedly writing roman’s name in the margins of his pages and drafting love letters he’ll never send.

rivalry to friendship! deceit and roman constantly competing on something until eventually their competition becomes a strange little camaraderie. a “i can smack-talk this man all day, but if you say one negative thing about him, i will end your whole career” type thing.

them! being! protective! nerds! in! general! they’re supportive and love each other!!

when they start on completely opposite sides of a spectrum and slowly learn to see the good qualities in each other, discovering what the other has to offer and bettering themselves through their found connection. oof. good stuff.

alternatively, when one of them stumbles across the other during a vulnerable moment and realizes oh. there’s a lot more going on than they thought, and they learn to confide in each other in an unlikely turn of events!!!

the new episode has awakened a new possibility: constantly borrowing each other’s clothes!! roman wrapping deceit’s capelet around his shoulders when he can’t be with his boyf in person, or deceit wearing romans christmas sweater when he’s cold (and yes he could just wear his own but he like this one because it gives him warm fuzzies, thank you very much.)

Jackall – Ok other than the fact that he shows up once with a slightly blurry backstory, probably the fact that hes so annoyingly hard to fight. I do really want to do barkingham again but I really really don’t want to slog through the super lengthy Jackall fight and millions of cheats.

 Margherita – Just like Jackall (kinda), the fact that she shows up once and never again. She gets beaten and gets hauled away to Newgate. I wish we got a little follow up or something on her being there (along with jackall n the other people who were hired by him in barkingham). HOWEVER I do think its funny that she shows up as a wand may cast and I need the dragoons rapier for this reason alone

Oh wow these are very close to each other in the dialogue tree I wonder why hmm

Jackall – “Lets see if my most trusted lieutenant, the dashing and dangerous Margherita Vizzini, can deliver my point”. Just picking this one bc I really like how its said and its like…2 seconds before jackall tells margherita shes a dumbass and sends her to jail. Love to see it

 Margherita – “Next time ill have to fight you with my right hand…” This one is my favorite purely because margherita has like 6 lines and it implies that not only did she fight the young wizard with her non dominant hand but also that it severely hindered her performance.

Hhnng.. each other…. I know they don’t get along by the end of the dungeon but I think that Margherita really was Jackall’s most trusted lieutenant (whatever that means in this context) and that they were bros. Homies. Being mildly evil together

Jackall – He is the middle child of 7 (purely bc I think its slightly funny even though its not) and his family has roots in enchanting objects and making potions, although he is the best at tinkering of said family.

 Margherita – Along with being a master of opera at the Opera Nova school in Valencia, Margherita also works there as a teacher! She’s got an amazing voice and uses it to help the opera singers of the future. She also helps them hone in their dueling spells and rarely ever loses a duel

Since both characters are so obscure there really are not any popular opinions to begin with but my hottest take is that neither one of them (specifically jackall) has a very angsty past or a bloody one. I am..not a big fan of angsty backstories so that’s why in my content I don’t make them into angst machine
