adobe is evil and all and i'm a sucker for paying for creative cloud for the past decade i know i know but god i love their font library. i hate downloading and installing fonts, being able to just click one button and add a font to every adobe software is magic and wonderful and beautiful and amazing
#obviously not as wide of a selection as yknow. the entirety of the rest of the internet#but it does the job#also ok correction i pay for half the subscription my mum pays for the other half cause she uses it once every five months#NOT a fair divide considering i use it once every five minutes#but i'm not gonna stop her cause that shit is expensive#i do need adobe to burn to the ground for about seventy five different reasons#but i am unfortunately so very fond of their products#even if the fuckass ai tool suggestion popups are making me want to pull a luigi

microsoft word online (which wasn’t my first choice; i just needed somewhere to put down lots of text very quickly, and my school onedrive was already open) has this fun little feature where it predicts what you’re going to say, or what your next word is going to be.
there is not a SINGLE circumstance where i would rather have a machine choose my words for me. i have a huge and radical vocabulary and i don’t want to outsource trying to leverage it. i don’t want to outsource thinking — i love thinking! i love words! i hate how badly they want us to succumb to AI assistance! i will not go down with this particular ship!!

just watched the amazing digital circus and honestly i get the jax hype he's very gender

I hate when I say things like "oh I want an ipod classic but with bluetooth so I can use wireless headphones" and some peanut comes in and replies with "so a smartphone with spotify?" No. I want a 160GB+ rectangular monstrosity where I can download every version of every song I want to it and it does nothing except play music and I don't need a data connection and don't have to pay a subscription to not have ads and don't have popups suggesting terrible AI playlists all over the menus.
Gimme the clicky wheel and song titles like "My Chemical Romance- The Black Parade- Blood (Bonus Track)- secret track- album rip- high quality"

I won’t beat around the bush. Microsoft Office doesn’t make it easy to opt out of this new AI privacy agreement, as the feature is hidden through a series of popup menus in your settings:On a Windows computer, follow these steps to turn off “Connected Experiences”:
File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Privacy Options > Privacy Settings > Optional Connected Experiences > Uncheck box: “Turn on optional connected experiences”
