2 Make sure the park brake is engaged and the transmission set to neutral. Lower the loader arms and backhoe to the ground, switch OFF the engine and remove the starter key.
3 Open the bonnet, see Engine Panels, Opening and Closing the Bonnet.
4 Drain the oil: CAUTION! Oil will gush from the hole when the drain plug is removed. Hot oil and engine components can burn you. Keep to one side when you remove the plug. 13-3-1-15 a Place a container of suitable size beneath the drain plug. b Remove drain plug C and its 'O' ring. Let the oil drain out, then clean and refit the drain plug with a new 'O' ring. Tighten to 34 Nm (25 lbf ft).

5 Change the filter: a Unscrew the filter canister D. Remember that it will be full of oil. b Check that adapter G is secure. c Clean the filter head F. d Add clean engine lubricating oil to the new filter canister. Allow enough time for the oil to pass through the filter element. e Smear the seal E on the new filter with oil. Screw in the new filter canister - hand tight only.
6 Fill the engine to the max mark on the dipstick with new oil through the filler. See Service Capacities and Lubricants for recommended oil grades. Wipe off any spilt oil. Check for leaks. Make sure the filler cap is correctly refitted.
7 Make sure the engine will not start and turn the starter switch to operate the starter motor until the oil pressure light is extinguished. (To make sure the engine will not start, remove the engine shut-off solenoid fuse, housed in the fuse box).
8 Insert the engine shut-off solenoid fuse and operate the engine. Check for leaks. When the engine has cooled, check the oil level.

Deshalb ist nach der Einführung des Topmodells Fendt 314 Vario auf der Agritechnica 2019 die neue Bedienphilosophie FendtONE jetzt für die gesamte Baureihe Fendt 300 Vario bestellbar.
Die Baureihe Fendt 300 Vario umfasst vier Modelle (Fendt 311 Vario, Fendt 312 Vario, Fendt 313 Vario, Fendt 314 Vario) mit einem Leistungsbereich von 113 bis 142 PS (nach ECE R120). Mit dem Mehrleistungskonzept DynamicPerformance erreicht der Fendt 314 Vario 152 PS. Der AGCO Power Motor erfüllt die Abgasnorm Stufe V mit einem Dieseloxidationskatalysator (DOC), Dieselpartikelfilter (DPF) und mit selektiver katalytischer Reduktion (SCR) aber ohne Abgasrückführung. Zusätzlich werden wartungsfreie Hydrostößel im Motor verbaut.
Alle Modelle sind ab Februar 2020 in den überarbeiteten Varianten Power, Profi und Profi+ bestellbar. Ab September 2020 wird der Fendt 300 Vario in den Ausstattungsvarianten Profi und Profi+ ausgeliefert. Die Power Variante läuft ab Januar 2021 vom Band.
Neues Bedienkonzept für den Fendt 300 Vario Power
Das Konzept des Fendt 300 Vario Power wurde mit einem Fokus auf komfortable und intuitive Traktorbedienung komplett überarbeitet. Dazu zählen die neue Bedienarmlehne, die direkt am Fahrersitz montiert ist, der neue Multifunktions-Joystick sowie elektrische Ventile.
Die Bedienphilosophie FendtONE umfasst neben der neuen Armlehne auch ein 10“ digitales Dashboard am Lenkturm. Das Dashboard zeigt unter anderem Fahrgeschwindigkeit, Motordrehzahl sowie Flüssigkeitsfüllstände an. Bei Straßenfahrten haben Fahrer so alle relevanten Informationen direkt im Blick. Über den Dreh-Drücksteller an der Armlehne können verschiedene Menüs, wie die Belegung des Fahrhebels, die Einstellung der Hydraulikventile oder auch Motor- und Getriebefunktionen ausgewählt sowie Einstellung daran vorgenommen werden. Erstmalig haben Nutzer im Fendt 300 Vario Power nun eine digitale Anzeigefläche und mehr Möglichkeiten zur Individualisierung, sodass Maschineneinstellungen einfacher und übersichtlicher erfolgen können.
Aufgrund der hohen Nachfrage gehört nun auch eine gefederte Vorderachse zur Serienausstattung. Ebenfalls Serie sind ein Visctronic-Lüfter sowie die Klimaanlage. Die Klimaautomatik und der Frontkraftheber mit entlastender Regelung sind erstmals in der Variante Power optional verfügbar.
Mehr Arbeitsergonomie für den Fendt 300 Vario Profi
Der Fendt 300 Vario in der Ausstattung Profi hat zusätzlich zum 10“ digitalen Dashboard optional ein 12“ Terminal an der Armlehne. Alle Anzeigen funktionieren im Verbund, sodass die Kacheln mit den verschiedenen Funktionen im Terminal gleichzeitig angezeigt werden können. Je nach persönlichen Bedürfnissen kann ein Terminal zeitgleich ISOBUS Anwendungen und auch Schlepperfunktionen anzeigen. Außerdem ist optional ein weiteres 12“ Terminal im Dach verfügbar, um beispielsweise ein Kamerasystem im Vollbild anzeigen zu können.
Beim Fendt 300 Vario Profi sind der Multifunktions-Joystick sowie ein Kreuzschalthebel an der Armlehne Serie. Diese ermöglichen eine bequeme und flexible Bedienung der verschieden Traktorfunktionen. Optional ist statt des Kreuzschalthebels der 3L Joystick erhältlich. Dieser kann unter anderem für die Bedienung des Frontladers mit einer Silageschaufel mit integrierter Funktion zum Fahrtrichtungswechsel verwendet werden oder auch mit bis zu 27 ISOBUS Funktionen für die Bedienung von komplexen Anbaugeräten frei belegt werden.
Kompakt und vielseitig – der Fendt 300 Vario Profi+
Bei Kompakttraktoren gewinnt Spurführung immer mehr an Bedeutung. Der Fendt 300 Vario Profi+ (ehemals ProfiPlus) verfügt serienmäßig über Fendt Guide (ehemals VarioGuide). Dazu gehört auch eine Funktion zur Organisation der Felddaten. Die Schläge werden zuhause verwaltet und dann mit einem Auftrag an eine Maschine gesendet. Somit können Aufträge inklusive der Feldgrenzen und Spurlinien mit Fendt Guide auf dem Traktor ausgeführt werden. Alle Flächen werden nun auf Basis eines flottenübergreifend gleichen Datensatzes bearbeitet. Auch Fendt TI (Teach In) Auto und der Fendt Guide Contour Assistant sind optional verfügbar.
Eine weitere Option in dieser Ausstattung sind nun auch Section Control und VariableRateControl. Der Fendt 300 Vario Profi+ ist dadurch bestens für die Aussaat, Düngung oder für Einsätze im Pflanzenschutz gerüstet. Damit die Vielzahl an Optionen gerade im Betrieb mit komplexen Anbaugeräten übersichtlich bleibt, ist das 12“ Terminal an der Armlehne Serie. Optional kann die Profi+ Variante auch mit einem zweiten 12“ Terminal im Dach bestellt werden, sodass die verschiedenen Traktorfunktionen in der Ansicht auf drei Anzeigeflächen aufgeteilt werden können.
Im Fendt 300 Vario Profi+ sind als Ausstattungsoption auch Fendt TaskDoc (ehemals VarioDoc Pro) und der Fendt Task Manager erhältlich. Mit dem Fendt Task Manager können Aufträge zuhause verwaltet und direkt aus dem Büro per Mobilfunk auf die Maschine gesendet werden. Nach Erfüllung des Auftrags wird dieser wieder zurück an den Betriebsleiter gesendet. Die Organisation der Arbeitsaufgaben und Mitarbeiter wird deutlich einfacher und kann ortsunabhängig stattfinden.
Das Infotainment Paket, bekannt aus dem Fendt 314 Vario, mit 4.1 Soundsystem mit Freisprecheinrichtung und Subwoofer kann für Maschinen mit der Profi und Profi+ Ausstattung als Option bestellt werden.
FendtONE wird zunächst in Deutschland, Frankreich und Großbritannien und dann sukzessive in weiteren Märkten eingeführt.
