“I... well... no....... but yes? It’s complicated. I don’t hate her personally, if that makes sense. She hasn’t done anything wrong, to me or anyone else, so I can’t hate her for that reason. But I suppose it’s more honest to say that, as petty and stupid as it is and as much as I don’t want to even think about it... yes, I hate her. She’s a walking, talking representation of my parents’ failed marriage, and everything that went wrong with my family. She can’t help it, I keep trying to tell myself that, but I resent her anyway. And yes, sometimes it... it becomes hate.”
