Will armoire’s eventually go away? I like the idea of using one for a bar here.

How to Identify Morels
Originally posted at my website at https://rebeccalexa.com/how-to-identify-morels/ - Click here to learn more about the How to Identify article series.
Name: True morels (Morchella spp.)
Range and typical habitat(s): Widespread throughout temperate North America, Europe, New Zealand and Australia; less commonly reported in South America, Asia, and coastal Africa. Morels are commonly found in wooded areas, and many species grow primarily on soil; these may have symbiotic (though not necessarily mycorrhizal) relationships with trees and other plants. Other morels, such as M. importuna, are saprotrophs that happily colonize dead wood, to include mulch used in landscaping. At least one, the white morel M. rufobrunnea, may be capable of both lifestyles. Morels are exceptionally difficult to cultivate, and no large-scale cultivation method has been developed as of this writing.
M. americana
Both deciduous and conifer forests may be homes to morels; yellow morels tend toward deciduous, while conifer forests are more likely to feature black morels. A wide variety of tree genera may be associated with morels include but are not limited to Pseudotsuga, Pinus, Abies, Quercus, Fraxinus, Alnus, and Castanea.
However, the half-free morels–M. punctipes (seen below), M. populiphila, and M. semilibera–may have a small space between the bottom edge of the cap and the stipe. The cap has a honeycombed appearance, with surfaces deeply pockmarked with cavities surrounded by brittle ridges that crumble into fragments when crushed. Colors vary, and morel species are often grouped together by cap color; black morels have a dark brown to black cap, while yellow and white morels are more tan to cream.

The stipe may be lightly textured, and is usually lighter in color than the cap, often white, cream, or pale yellow depending on species. Cutting a morel’s stipe open reveals that it is entirely hollow inside. A mature morel is generally around three to six inches high, though larger specimens have been found.

The stipe may be lightly textured, and is usually lighter in color than the cap, often white, cream, or pale yellow depending on species. Cutting a morel’s stipe open reveals that it is entirely hollow inside. A mature morel is generally around three to six inches high, though larger specimens have been found.
A vintage illustration shows three morels, to include one cut in half to display the hollow center; the mushroom in the lower left is a false morel (Gyromitra esculenta).
Other organisms it could be confused with and how to tell the difference: There are multiple groups of mushrooms that look similar enough to morels to cause confusion; given morels are a popular edible mushroom, consumption of some of these lookalikes has caused serious illness on numerous occasions.
V. bohemica; note that the bottom edge of the cap is not attached to the stipe, and that it has more of a wrinkled appearance than honeycombed. By NeoSporen, CCA-SA-3.0.
Members of the genus Verpa look similar to half-free morels in that the bottom edge of the cap is not attached to the stipe. However, when cut in half the half-free morels have more of the upper portion of the cap attached to the stipe; Verpas only have the very tip attached. Outwardly they do look quite similar to morels overall, often having a conical cap with a honeycombed texture; some may have less distinct cavities and a more lumpy” appearance rather than honeycombed. The cap of the Verpa is generally smaller in proportion to the stipe than on mature morels. The stipes of young Verpas are full of soft, fluffy hyphae, but they become hollow like morels as they mature.
V. conica, showing one cut in half. Note that the cap is only attached to the stipe at the very top, and there is still some fungal hyphae tissue in the center of the stipe. Photo by Jeff Riedenauer (Tamsenite), CCA-SA-3.0.
Like morels, they are considered by some to be edible when thoroughly cooked. However, one study purports that V. bohemica is also toxic, having the same sort of toxins as the false morels I’ll discuss below. Some field guides recommend avoiding the other Verpa species as well due to potential inedibility. Both Verpas and morels fruit in spring, and may sometimes be found in the same area. As someone who would like to become an old, rather than bold, mushroom hunter, I recommend skipping the Verpas and sticking to the true morels, just in case.
A false morel (Gyromitra spp.); notice that instead of looking like a cone made of honeycomb, it resembles a raisin or a brain on a stalk.
False morels, in the genus Gyromitra, are a more notorious morel lookalike. Several species contain significant levels of gyromitrin, a compound that when boiled or consumed hydrolizes into monomethylhydrazine, a chemical used in making rocket fuel. Consumption may cause gastrointestinal distress, neurological symptoms, kidney and liver failure, coma, and failure of the respiratory and circulatory systems. The most severe cases result in death within a week after consuming false morels. Some species have more gyromitrin than others, and it’s likely that the compound can build up over time in people who eat false morels on a regular basis. While there are purported methods used to reduce or remove gyromitrin from false morels, as a foraging instructor I do not recommend consuming any Gyromitra false morels due to the risk of severe illness.
G. californica. Note that the stipe is not completely hollow inside, but has several cavities divided by fungal tissue. Photo by Alan Rockefeller, CCA-SA-4.0.
So how do you tell the difference? Where true morels look like honeycombed cones, false morels look like brains, oversized raisins, or piles of worms. If you cut a true morel open the stipe will be completely hollow, but the interior of a false morel may have multiple smaller chambers or be completely solid. It is exceptionally important to make sure you get a sure identification on whatever species you are picking, as true and false morels fruit in spring, and sometimes in the same areas.
M. angusticeps
Anything else worth mentioning? Morels are definitely one of those mushrooms you want to cook thoroughly before eating, as raw or undercooked morels can cause gastrointestinal distress. Also, if you hang around mushroom foragers long enough, you’ll hear all sorts of advice–some of it conflicting–about when and where to find morels. It’s true that they fruit in spring, starting in lower elevations where it warms up sooner, and then higher elevations as spring temperatures continue to rise. South-facing slopes that warm up faster with sunlight may also see earlier fruiting. And, of course, places that burned or were logged in the last year or two may see a bumper crop of morels the following spring. Many patches of morel mycelium only last a few years, so the place you found morels one year may not fruit the next.
Beyond that, it’s best to study up on the species of morel that grow in your area. Find out what sorts of habitats they like, if they’re associated with any particular trees, whether they are responsive to burns and other disturbances, and whether there are any toxic look-alikes that grow nearby.

Do you have any interior design tips? Love your space - or at least what seems to be that you showcase on here. Any YouTube channels or websites that you go to for advice/info?
hmmm, my biggest thing would be look for your patterns. what colors are you drawn to? what shapes? what styles?
i follow a lot of design yt channels actually. a few: Never Too Small, The Modern House, The Local Project, Open Space, there a few House & Garden videos that are incredible, ABI Interiors.
home on apple+ tv is phenomenal as well. i really recommend documentaries, design books, anything you can source inspiration from.
physically go to your local vintage/antique shops and walk around. drive a little farther for some. go to furniture shops— the high end ones, the cheaper ones. spend a weekend just looking. get into the nooks and crannies and crevices and see what you find and what you like and what you don’t. if you’re drawn to something specific, find out what designer it is and research him. what other designers are from that same year? what style does that designer make? what is similar to it? what are the price ranges? what would look good with it? think of your patterns and likes/dislikes of your taste, how do the things you find in the antique stores fit?
make moodboards using notion, canva, google keeps, whatever— see what fits. mock up the area. if you have tangible items, move around what you can physically in your room. i change up my living room literally every 3-4 weeks because i get restless.
question how minimalist or maximalist you want to venture out. it’s about what you like and what you feel will make your space safe, inviting, comfortable for you. it’s about collecting things that are durable, long-lasting, of quality. it’s about finding things that have stories to them, or stories you have about them.

I really don’t think Ash lives in NYC. All reliable sources say she is based out of Nashville. There are a lot of good interior designers in Nashville. I also saw 2 of the Haim sisters too being papped from last night. Haim has probably been busy with touring because they are amongst her closest friends. No sightings of Jack or Abi attending, though.
Ashley was at the party. Abi and Gigi too.

Ikea 2021 vs 2023
Ikea tahun 2021
What a luck!
Fish and chips nya enduuuulllll bgt, bola2 dagingnya yaa okee aja so so gitu, eskrim donatnya enaaaa wlpn rasanya ya b aja pada umumnya, ayam gorengnya b aja ngga ada rasanya. Kuah siomaynya jg kurang micin tp oke kerasa udangnya.. Makanan ikea emg mengusung konsep healthy food gitu yekannn. Tp kalo mau ngulang ya mau dong~
Next sama bapak @sagarmatha13 kesana lagi yaaah~

Thanks for tagging me, @winterandwords and @author-a-holmes! :D
Words: heat, hard, harsh, hurt, wet, cold, grey, broken and tired. These are from The Unfortunate Moth and The Power and the Glory:
Heat Warm:
Leo had come up to the deck after a quick bath because he found the interior of the ship unpleasantly warm. Several other passengers wandered past without paying any attention to him. He tuned out their presence so he could concentrate on the script. Gradually it dawned on him that someone was leaning over the rails just in front of him.
Hard:
By the time Yo-han arrived in Georgia the assassin was long gone. That was the funny thing. In spite of all the noise — the shot, the shouting, the screams — the assassin had walked out of the house and disappeared. No one had seen them. A ghost could hardly have vanished more completely.
Harsh:
"I have an idea," Mirio said. "The two of you go. Then I'll tell your aunt -- and," he grimaced, "my uncle -- that Lian has gone to fulfil a challenge to prove himself worthy of marrying me, and Abi has gone to help him. That might stop them thinking too harshly of you."
Hurt:
Yo-han had never subscribed to the idea that tastes in literature were an accurate reflection of innocence or guilt. When he had caught a serial rapist last year, the man's bookshelf had been full of reference books on marine botany and the lives of Catholic saints. On the other hand his landlady during his stay in Berlin had been a sweet little old lady who wouldn't hurt a fly and loved gruesome horror novels.
Wet:
Phil felt something wet on her face. She brushed it away and almost expected to see blood on her hand. It came as a shock to realise she was crying.
Cold:
I decided to fire the shot from your cabin long before I even got on the ship. I truly believed you would have an alibi. No doubt this is cold comfort, but I had no intention of framing you.
Grey:
The main impression Király left on him was of someone who viewed life as a vale of tears. His clothes were black and grey, which combined with his pale skin made him look almost as if he'd stepped out of a photograph. A general air of grim resignation hung about him, as if he had expected the worst but was still disappointed.
Broken:
Phil knelt down and examined the square. It wasn't a broken board or anything so simple. It had been sawn out deliberately. She could spot the sawdust on her carpet.
Tired:
Ilaran shrugged without opening his eyes. "I'm too tired to think about it just now. Have you any idea how much work has piled up while I was away?"
Open tag for anyone who wants to do this! :D

I did manage to drive yesterday and today, pretty sure it's gonna be okay, which I'm very glad about cause I honestly love driving, the new car my dad found is nearly the exact same one I had before, just VW instead of Skoda and the interior looks a bit more modern, which is probably good, because I don't know if I'd be able to handle the exact same thing. So yeah I don't think there's much trauma to it, but I do keep remembering it in the middle of the night and I just... don't know how to deal with it, like it all feels so surreal, I haven't seen my dead car since Friday, but the pain in my body still hasn't gone away. My dad's pain is starting to get worse which I fucking hate... but yeah, I can't stop thinking about it when I'm trying to sleep... also I have abi exams on Wednesday/Thursday GOD DAMN I'd love some more time but no

Różnice w pracy projektanta wnętrz we Francji i Wielkiej Brytanii
Dbałość o szczegóły, harmonia i proporcje stanowią fundament pracy projektanta.
Proces współpracy z klientem We Francji klienci oczekują bardziej formalnego podejścia do współpracy.
Istnieje wiele kursów i szkł oferujących praktyczne szkolenia w zakresie projektowania wnętrz.
Warunki pracy i rynek usług We Francji projektanci wnętrz często współpracują z klientami indywidualnymi, szczególnie w segmencie luksusowych nieruchomości i rezydencji.
Klienci coraz częściej oczekują zastosowania ekologicznych rozwiązań i inteligentnych technologii w aranżacji wnętrz.
