Link felt a little bit like he was going to throw up.

Or faint. Possibly both.

Facing down hordes of bloodthirsty monsters, even Demise himself was nothing compared to this. It felt like there were thousands of eyes on him as he stood up at the altar next to Zelda, her hands in his as her father no doubt gave a wonderful speech about love and respect that he couldn’t manage to listen to a bit of.

He felt his stomach heave with nervousness as he considered again what exactly he was doing here, and his hands began to shake.

He was marrying Zelda.

He was getting married.

He’d waited for this moment for so long, dreamed of this day for years, and now that it was here all he could think about were the millions of ways he might mess it all up.

Zelda obviously picked up on his anxiety and gave his hands a reassuring squeeze, and Link met her eyes, soft and blue and full of love for him. He felt his nervousness fade a bit, and she gave him a warm smile, a flicker of her own nervousness showing in how bright it was.

The clearing around them went abruptly quiet, and Link startled as Zelda’s father stared intently at him.

“H-huh?”

Gaepora raised an eyebrow and several titters ran through the audience.

“I said, do you take Zelda, in sickness and in health, in bad times and good, to be your wife. Do you?” Gaepora repeated, and Link felt his cheeks redden as he nodded. He’d really been spacing out.

“I do,” he managed to say clearly, heart thudding.

Gaepora repeated the question for Zelda, and she responded with her own “I do” full of equal excitement and nerves.

Link found himself staring into her eyes again as her father continued with his speech, her irises a blue brighter than even her loftwing’s feathers, more beautiful then the sky itself, the shade incomparable to anything he could even think of.

His nervousness was finally shuffled to the background as he looked at her, and despite the sweat he could feel dripping down his neck, a sense of rightness settled into his heart.

He was exactly where he was meant to be.

“...by the power entrusted to me, and by the will of the goddess Hylia...”

Link was barely focusing on the words Zelda’s father was saying anymore, but his ears sharpened on that part, for he knew what was coming next.

Gaepora smiled. “I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride.”

Zelda surged forward the same time as Link, and they pressed their lips together, his hand gently cupping her cheek.

Faintly Link registered Groose cheering at the top of his lungs as well as the rest of Skyloft, but he was mostly focused on the soft lips against his and the absolute flood of emotions pouring through him at the moment.

They’d fought so hard to get to this point. Through when their lives had changed forever, discovering their destinies as hero and goddess, being torn apart from each other than reunited then separated again in what seemed like an endless loop. They’d both almost died dozens of times, and lost friends along the way, somehow managing to come through it all alive.

And even after their lives were flipped upside down they still had to figure out how to live after everything, from working out how to move from Skyloft to the surface, to scars both visible and invisible plaguing them both sometimes endlessly.

Sometimes it had seemed impossible.

But they’d made it, through all the sleepless nights, the sobbed confessions, arguments and stress over things both pointless and not, and countless other trials they’d faced in their lives and relationship over the past few years.

They’d made it.

A single tear dripped down Link’s cheek as he and Zelda finally broke apart, and he wasn’t surprised to see a couple on her face as well, her blue eyes shiny as she looked at him.

He gently brushed his thumb across her cheek, and she smiled at him as he wiped her tears away, leaning into the touch. They simply looked at each other for a moment, blue against blue, the two communicating more with that gaze then most people could with an entire conversation.

Then they turned to face their friends and family, grinning at the applause and cheers still echoing up to the sky.

They began to walk past them all then, hands still clasped, and they’d barely made it back down the aisle before a loud joyful call caught Link’s attention. He looked up to see both his and Zelda’s loftwings streaming across the sky together, twisting in excited loops and flips as they drew near.

He smiled at the display, and Zelda laughed as their birds landed and immediately began to chirp ecstatically at their other halves, nibbling at their clothes and completely ruining their neatly done hair.

“Alright Crimson, alright!” Link laughed as his bird nearly knocked him over with excitement.

Zelda laughed as well, and Link was about to say something but was interrupted by a crushing grip suddenly squeezing the air out of him.

“Congratulations you two!” Groose cheered, suddenly materializing by Link and Zelda’s side and pulling them into a bone-crushing hug. “Ah, this has been a day long coming. The first marriage in Grooseland! What say we get some cake to celebrate huh?”

“Cake isn’t until later, Groose,” Zelda said with a fond eye roll, sounding a bit pressed for air. “And I’ve told you a dozen times we’re not calling the Surface Grooseland.”

Groose pouted, his arms still slung around their shoulders. “Well you still haven’t suggested anything supposedly “superior” I’d point out.”

“I don’t know why. Literally anything would be better then Grooseland,” Link commented cheekily, and Groose gasped in offense.

“I’ll give you a pass on that only because it’s your wedding day.”

Link just grinned at him, and Zelda laughed again, especially when Crimson gave Groose a firm rap on the head. Link turned to his wife, and on a whim pulled her into another kiss, this one shorter but no less sweet. The other guests had begun to filter towards where he and Zelda were sheltered a bit by their loftwings, but Link decided they could be ignored for the moment.

Groose, showing remarkable tact for once in his life, realized his presence was no longer being paid any attention to and slid off in the direction of the dessert table, Crimson watching him suspiciously.

That was fine with Link. They’d have to go talk to all their guests eventually, but a few moments more alone certainly couldn’t hurt.

He gently broke off the kiss and they grinned at each other, Zelda’s cheeks flushed with happiness. Link was sure his were the same, and he knew he had an absolutely ridiculous grin on his face, but he really didn’t care.

This was one of the happiest moments of his life. He figured he was entitled to a stupid facial expression.

“Can you believe it Zel?” he whispered, “we’re married. We’re actually married.”

Zelda laughed, the sound choked a bit with emotion as she pressed her forehead to his. “It almost doesn’t seem real.”

Link looked into her eyes for what must have been the hundredth time today, bright blue still wavering with emotion, and he toned his grin down to a more gentle smile.

“But it is. And now nothing can come between us, we’re stuck with each other,” he teased, and Zelda shook her head as she laughed again.

“You’re ridiculous Link.”

“And I’m all yours,” he grinned, and Zelda squeezed his hands, her smile as bright as the sun on her face.

“And so am I,” she whispered.

And they kissed again, arms wrapped tightly around each other.

i love charpim so soooomuch its sooo awesome seeing two people in loooveee with eachootherrr i loveeecharpim they have so much chemistry and i love it -

and i love how they love each other so much and they're already so gay that even if they randomly decided to start dating their relationship would not change at all like literally they would stay the same - except maybe hold hands and kiss more often. they already act like they cuddle with eachotehr at night idk IM SO THANKFUL THEY EXIST and the fact they've known each other over 7 years is so omg!

they KNOW each other - ALSO has anybody else noticed how Charlie and Pim's relationship progresses really well in season 2 like omg they're so close and so learning about eachotehr and Charlie kissed Pim which is a big deal (at least to me) bc Pim kisses everyone but Charlie kisses NOBODY! and he kissed PIM!

sorry. ik the kiss probably means nothing its more than likely just for comedic/shock value (or maybe even fan service) but i really love Charlie and Pim's relationship, even seeing them just as friends makes me happy, i just think they fit eachother so well like perfectly built puzzle pieces. Pim fills in for the things that Charlie isn't good at and Charlie fills in for the things that Pim isnt good at, i lovr them so much they complete eachotehr oh i love seeing people care about eachother its just so awesome!

and has anybody else noticed how Pim and Charlie have had negative interactions with most other characters, but Pim and Charlie seem to have less negative interactions with eachother? often finding peace in one another? its like the world is out to get them but they still stick together even when theyre mad at each other because they care and they really do just love eachother weither thats in a romantic or platonic way it doesn't matter- they just love eachotehr GOSH. they're so amazing PLEASE tell me someone agrees-

"You've made your worst mistake here, might be your last one too" AH, BITCH, anyway, so I suppose up until now Telemachus just tried to avoid the suitors at any cost, dont make them upset, stay out of their way, grit your teeth and wait, because your father will be back soon...right? Right?? Greek rules of hospitality and all; they cant send them away, but theyre taking in more space and theyre pushing Telemachus into a corner. But Antinous insulted his mother, he tried to get him to open up her room, that was the first time he talked back, prepared to fight, be like his father, being legendary, even though he has no clue what hes doing; and the suitors know that, they probably saw him grow up, and belittled him almost all his life, they know just how much he is not in any position of power and strength, but he dared to talk back, and that little bit of courtesy they had to leave him alone is gone, Antinous is pissed and he wants to get rid of Telemachus anyway, hes just in his way, so he'll take him down, after having some fun first, FUCK HIM, hes such a bastard

"You'll have run out of bones to break when you and I are through" this dude didnt even need poseidon to tell him that ruthlessness is mercy to become the monster rawr rawr rawr, hes just brutal and ruthless and merciless and hes having FUN

AAAAAH omg Case Closed fan!! I had the fattest crush on Harley Hartwell (Heiji Hattori) when I was a preteen. Looking back idk why my parents let me read that LMAO

i do sincerely love case closed but it also fascinates me because i cant for the life of me figure out what the target audience is supposed to be. conan is both 7 and 16 and theyre dealing with like actual real life murders and the solutions are so complex that i, a 21 year old obsessed with mysteries, have yet to actually solve a single one before the reveal 400 chapters in and the setup is so fundamentally ridiculous that no one over the age of 10 or so could ever hope to take it seriously and the most recent case i read involved actual literal cocaine and multiple armed thugs kidnapping and beating up a teenager. I can only conclude that it's written for guys like me who love detectives so much they don't care if the story is actually good. and im obsessed with it

Tried to write this post but I couldn’t boil it down to three, so I’m going to do favourites from each album.

Starting with self titled (or twenty one pilots if you like):

- a car, a torch, a death (everyone should hear this song at least once. It’s a masterpiece)

- Johnny boy (awwww)

- fall away OR addict with a pen (I can’t pick)

Now blurry face:

- lane boy (fucking LIVE for this song. It’s so well written, very fun to sing along to and it’s super nostalgic.)

- message man (oh LORD is this song amazing. Definitely up there.)

- I feel like I’ve gotta say ride but then again fairly local, heavydirtysoul and the judge are staring me down so I don’t know 😭😭

Then from vessel (this one is going to be hard):

- Im putting all the bonus tracks in one because oh GOD are they SO GOOD.

- screen (I love the message and also it’s really fun.)

- AAAAAH I CANT PICK (car radio was my favourite song for a good few years, but then migrane was, and also ode to sleep, semi automatic and guns for hands are just amazing)

Okay moving onto trench (their best album - help me):

- levitate (really fast, refers back to car radio during the first verse, and is just a really good song)

- Legend (HE WROTE IT ABOUT HIS GRANDAD WHEN I THOUGHT IT WAS A CUTE SONG ABOUT HIS WIFE. I CANT HEAR IT THE SAME ANYMORE AND IT MAKES ME CRY.)

Finally, scaled and icy:

- the outside (easily the best song on that album)

Hi thereeee!! Saw your OCs and theyre amazinggg. One caught my eye though, enby ace bookworm Elliott, and I wanted to join in om the get to know them prompt. I have 6 questions I chose, but I hope it's alright cause I'm only asking for Elliott! >.< These are the questions:

OC Asks - Elliott #1

What is something they would refuse to wear?

Anything that makes them uncomfortable. Itchy materials? No thanks. Tight clothes? Pass. He dresses for comfort. Though if they were to cosplay, those rules become more flexible, but the end goal is still to be able to exist comfortably in whatever clothing he's wearing. They can't handle anything too constricting or uncomfortable.

What tattoo would they get?

Elliott would absolutely get some book-themed tattoos! Whether it would be a quote from a favorite book or simply an outline of a book, they'd be happy. I could also see him getting something LGBTQ themed, and he's definitely got the asexual flag on him somewhere.

Are they good with animals?

He's very good with animals! They're almost magnetically drawn to Elliott, and they definitely have at least one feline companion. A tuxedo cat named Scout lives with him, and she is often lovingly referred to as the queen of the library, complete with a throne-shaped cat bed built by some of his regular patrons. She was named Scout both due to the curiosity inherent in her, as well as her first 'present' to Elliott - a bird she'd caught, but hadn't killed. Being a bookworm, they thought of the classic book To Kill A Mockingbird, and the name stuck. She wears a rainbow-striped collar with her name printed on the side and a little bell dangling from it so she doesn't startle readers... or attack more birds.

Scout loves hanging out in the library and snuggling on the laps of visitors as they read. She's an extremely gentle cat, but she's got a mischievous streak - she'll steal pencils and hide them or drop them in the laps of others, headbutt people's legs with a toy in her mouth if she hasn't been given enough attention, and occasionally lurks in or on bookshelves and playfully sneak-attacks people. Somehow, she's never once damaged a book. She's even started picking up the smaller children's books when they're abandoned by kids, dropping them in a small basket left at the end of the shelves.

In addition to Scout, Elliott has a garden for people to read and relax in, and he's designated a corner for the stray kitties, with cozy little cat houses stacked together for them to shelter in, food and water, and some toys. He's thoughtfully surrounded the corner with a fence to keep inquisitive children out, but there's a cat-sized opening next to the gate, allowing the felines to explore the rest of the garden and visit the people within. He's successfully socialized, caught, and rehomed many strays this way.

Who are they most honest with?

Probably their partner! Once they get comfortable enough with each other, Elliott wants the type of relationship where he can tell them anything. Other than that, he has a pretty good relationship with his parents and friends. The soul who's seen him at his most vulnerable, however, would have to be their beloved cat, Scout.

What is their fav form of affection?

Elliott is the type who truly believes that you can tell a lot about a person from what they read, so they often show affection through books. He'll ask about your favorite books, read them if he hasn't already, and discuss them with you. He also enjoys recommending books to their loved ones, and will often buy several copies of a book he enjoys so he can gift it to them.

As far as more standard forms of affection, they respond well to words of affirmation and quality time. He's more than happy to just spend time together while reading or working on something independently, and hearing that people genuinely love and appreciate them always makes him melt.

What kind of music do they enjoy?

I could see their music taste being pretty varied! I think soft, relaxing music is a big favorite - they've definitely got a lengthy playlist of these songs that play quietly in the library, providing just enough background noise without being annoying. I could also see them getting into indie music, especially the lgbtq artists.

Did someone say Soul Eater ? I'm thinking Mumbo would probably help them when the other is busy for missions, so he's kind of a "occasionnal meister" and doesn't have a set partner. One day, Scar and Grian propose that Mumbo goes with them both and theyre actually a pretty good team !

But also, since I'm in a ranchers mood lately, Jimmy would 100% be a pretty clumsy meister and Tango a fire based weapon who helps a lot with Jimmy's confidence and abilities. They're a great duo and their souls resonate amazingly
