Hi! Thank you so much - I'm back and I had a really wonderful time!

I did finish S4! I absolutely agree about the dynamic between Ciel and Sebastian. It was amazing, it was everything I wanted and more. The way Ciel allowed the bat to hit him just to win the game, the proud, admiring look Sebastian gave him - wow. I was speechless. It's so them, it's utterly perfect. The way Sebastian saw that vision of Undertaker stealing Ciel from him and got so worried that he decided to ignore Ciel's other orders, protecting him? Ah, my heart melted. They were such a team in this arc, all those little moments of closeness, genuineness, protectiveness... I couldn't get enough and I'd watch 10 more seasons of them doing nothing but speaking to each other.

That said, at the same time, I felt disappointed with the plot :( Those who read manga knew what to expect already, but I didn't, so I was eagerly waiting for something more epic, interesting, and smarter in the end. Especially after BoC, BoM, and BoA, which kept me holding my breath and which were full of fantastic dark twists and turns. With the School arc, I felt like it was a watered down version of BoA. People are missing again, Undertaker is responsible again, and he's making his dolls again. The message of brainwashing in education was good, but the way it was shown didn't leave much of an impact on me. I don't know, maybe I'll have a somewhat different opinion upon re-watch.

Ciel and Sebastian's antics will make any plot worth it in my eyes, but I got used to phenomenal quality and unexpected dark discoveries in every arc, so not getting enough of that in this one made me feel let down a bit.
