Ronal knew guilt. Guilt introduced itself to her when she made a young boy cry and it never left her side ever since. She also learned helplessness. Ronal purses her lips and let her tears fall. Despite the pain in her heart, she feels warm. She feels loved. She feels seen. Tonowari is a blessing and you are her miracle. Really, it hurts how fate won’t let her live peacefully and contented. She silently grieves over the lost future she dreams of with you and him.

“You are our soon-to-be Olo’eyktan! I am one of your people, you cannot do this to me!” She shouts at him but panic can be easily heard from her voice. Tonowari is silent and she takes this as him contemplating her words as she continued as arrogance comes back as she believes her delusions, “You cannot hurt me. You can only serve me as our Olo’eyktan.”

“And as your future Olo’eyktan, you should have known better than to insult my chosen mates,” his voice is thick, full of calm yet venomous wrath that threatens to break the weak constraints of his patience, “and to insult my mates is to insult me.”

He pushes her away with force to her group of friends and did not care that she fell. She starts to sob and Ronal can only grit her teeth. Forgiveness was a lesson she had to learn by herself. She learned to forgive the parents of the boy who hated her and humiliated her without them asking to. She learned to forgive her friends who blamed her for something she never really intended to make them feel without asking to. She learned to forgive herself for the faults she committed and learned how to grow stronger and mature.

But she does not think she can forgive Letsakx for what she has done. To you. To Tonowari. To herself.

“This is a warning to each and every one of you. Touch them again, hurt them again, and I will not hesitate to show you what your soon Olo’eyktan’s wrath is.” He glowers at them and the people kneel at him. They bow their heads showing their alliance to their leader.

Ronal looks at you once more and finds you looking at the setting sun on the ocean. The golden rays glisten so beautifully on your skin. The wind sways your hair, it whispers out to you,  and the waves try their hardest to reach out to you and call out your name.

He comes back to both of you. She looks at him and tells him with her eyes to take her and you away from this mess. Tears slip out and he sends her a smile that hides the same pain she feels, but she sees through him. She sees him. She sees you close your eyes.

Tonowari carries the both of you in each of his arms and into the inner island where no one would come to disturb nor dare to hurt each of you again.

“I don’t? What do you mean? I see you two. Eywa knows how much I look at you and how much it hurts me. She knows how I desperately beg for her forgiveness because I shouldn’t be hurting. I should be happy for both of you, you two who are so in love with each other. I should be happy for both of you because I am your friend!” like the creek that trickles continuously nearby you, your tears flow down endlessly, “But I’m not. Seeing you two hurts me.”

You tilt your head and close your eyes. It’s odd. You don’t even dare to say what you feel out loud to yourself, much less even think about telling them both. But you did. The suffocating and heavy weight that kills you inside is finally out in the open. You scoff inwardly. You guess it won’t be too long till they would shun you out for daring to disturb their love.

Tonowari rubs his head against yours and he kisses the temple of your forehead and it takes all of you to not melt underneath his warmth.

“But you two are made for each other. Tonowari, you are mighty and strong like the ocean. You have what it takes to be our Olo’eyktan. Ronal, you are as gentle but as powerful as the wind. You have what it takes to Tsahik. You even proved it once more a while ago, you can make quite the storm together,” you lightly chuckle with a sense of pride and bitterness.

“But between the two of you, there is no place for me,” you smile painfully, “So let me go. Leave me with the sins of being greedy and selfish to both of you. Leave me and go forward with each other.”

“You said you see us. But you’re wrong.” Tonowari suddenly says against your skin. You shiver at his breath. You look at him questioningly. He looks at you, his blue eyes are deep with emotions you find yourself drowning in.

“If you do, then you should have known how we long for you as well. How we want you so bad. How we want you to be with us. Together.”  Ronal rests her head on the other side of your shoulder.

“If you do, then you should have known how greedy and selfish we are as well for you. Be greedy with me. With Ronal. Be selfish with us and let us be the same with you.” Their words make you widen your eyes. Shock leaves you speechless and their confession leaves you breathless.

“You say we are the ocean and the wind, but you are the life. You are the gleaming plants and the flora the wind dances with. You are the glowing lights underneath the ocean it flows with. You are the direction that guides the wind. You are the water that makes the ocean.”

“We might be the ocean and the wind, but without you, there is nothing of us.”

Suddenly, you are aware of the way they look at you. The way they touch you. The way they are so close to you.

Okay, I need more of the Digital Friends AU! It seems so cool!

AAAAA im glad you like It! The Digital Friends AU is honestly a passion project of mine since it’s based on screenmates from the early 2000s and horror games such as Buddy Sim, KinitoPET, and Doki Doki Literature Club :)

Now as for more— let me tell you some lore tm:

As seen in my posts of this au, the se screenmates were created by two users: One named DreamXD and another named Callahan.

Nothing is known much about them, and they seemed to disappear off the face of the earth around 2005.

Cala in this AU is a shut-in, and only talks to her girlfriend and messes around with these screenmates since she randomly found the website one day while looking for old screenmates.

She is very curious about this Dream one, and the more she figures out and talks to the other screenmates she slowly reveals their “true” colors and they get more creepy and fourth wall breaky.

The first screenmate she downloads is Wilbur, and he seems to be normal! Until he starts getting obsessive and very erratic to the point where he wants her to not look at any more of the other programs and wants to be the only program she plays with.

Each DigiFriend has a unique set of games/things to do. In Wilbur’s case, there’s a rage room and a music room— but sometimes she just gets a window that has train station or sometimes she’s in the train.

It just all slowly gets creepy the more she figures out the screenmates by unlocking how they’re actually like as well as figuring about this Dream one, as well as finding out the truth of what happened to DreamXD and Callahan.

There’s so much more I want to say but that’s the basis— I might draw something with it tonight tbh bc this au sparks so much joy.

so uh basically my girlfriend broke up with me and at lunch today, and like it wasn't a bad breakup and i'm really glad we talked because like i wanted to talk about how things have felt kinda off lately, and uh it turns it its because they now only have platonic feelings for me

i think like part of me knew this was coming, they broke up with their last boyfriend this time last year (because they realized they really just wanted to be friends w/ him) and this time last year is when i hit the point of no return w/ my ex and a bunch of things that happened then have happened now (soccer team disbanding partner/ex not going on the school trip)

and so like i've had the thought 'could i go back to just being friends with them' or 'should i just break up with them before they have the chance to hurt me like my ex did' spiral around in my head a bit but i never actually did because like they're amazing

but then there's the part of me the would dream of us lasting for years and was just so fucking happy w/ them and was about to tell them i loved them, i've been thinking it for months but i thought i was ready to say it to them,,, and then well,,,,

theres so many nevers now, like i never said i love you, they never came to one of my club soccer games, i never went to one of their vaulting comps, we nEVER WENT ON A DATE

fuck i wish i had gone to prom w/ them this year, skipped the soccer game that didn't end up actually happened and fucking dealt w/ the fact that my ex was there but i was too fucking scared to do either of those things

aaaaa i was trying so so so fucking hard not to let myself get hurt by a partner again, i waited a while to ask them out like i was certain i really like them and they liked me back, and then i took things very slow, we took a while to kiss, we never said i love you, i tried really really hard to test the waters and really make sure i could trust them before i fully committed my heart to them

and while i can trust them and they are an amazing person who still cares a lot about me, they still managed to hurt me because they don't love me the same way i love them, and i kinda thought they did, and maybe they did for a bit, but they don't anymore

🤡 - What’s something dumb they’re embarrassed about?

Kaede sometimes tends to be waaaay to focus on things so many embarrassed moment have happened to him, mostly by accident... But the most embarrassing is that one time at the "National Park" in Johto, he went to sketch some bug Pokémon to practice, that day also was "The Bug Catching Contest".... so many people were around... the thing is he doesn't know how or what happened but he thinks someone made a swarm of Beedrils get upset... the person was running away and for his luck... the swarm was comming to his direction... so my man had to run! On trying to get away he trip over the fountain and he fall down inside... so after the chaos... you can see a skinny all wet noodle man comming out of the fountain, he lose a shoe that day... people were lauging... his sketchbook was ruined, his Smeargle was crying because used to wrong move to protect him... and one of his legs was paralized because of the Beedrill's sting... so he had to do a "walk of shame" to his home, dripping water all the way back.... everytime he returns at the park they reminder him of that incident "hey wet noodle!! Glad to have you back!" He is fine now he just accept it but if someone new ask why he is called that he will be embarrassed thats for sure but he will try to change topic before someone else come over and tell you about the story...

Back im the school days, he was part of the "drama club" he did scenography, no acting... but one day the lead paper was open, because the girl that had to play it was sick... so they needed to have someone else... the problem was that only the scenography team was avaible, sice all the girls (4 girls) where with personal problems, had another role or sick.... so they pick up Gabi... he had to be a princess, that fine he has wear dresses before because of his sister that enjoys playing magcal girl stuff.

He memorize the lines, learned how to act and all that. The day of the presentation there was a scene where a fan must be use since there was a storm... but due to "malfuction" (but Gabi believes was intentional! Someone set him up!!) soooo you can imagine what happened... his dress blows upwards, revealing his undergarments (he had his "detective pikachu" boxers tho but still!) He thought was safe, that no one saw him! He put the dress down back to his place quickly right?!... wrong!... sadly the classmates and the parentd that where watching the drama show... were also recording and they got it all... the video is online.... some have seen it... but he did all he could to get that video down... he didnt come out of his room for weeks!!!..... if you search around maybe you can still find the video... just dont bring it up he will be a red mess and pout around to why you have to seen such thing!! The thing is, Kaede drunk is way more extrovert than the introvert he usually is... just dont make him drunk! He becomes this clingy cuddly man that always want to hug you (he is basically a Komala next to you) if you push him away he is a crying mess, if he is alone he is also a crying mess but naked.... he just walks around naked drunk in the house, wishing to be near you how wonderful you are a full declaration of love and passion! First off, let me say I am so flattered by your interest in my guys???? Like, these are my little dolls that I fling around in my skull sometimes, but barely make it out into the world. It makes me so happy to share them!

ANYWAY. down to business.

when u make playlists for ur ocs do you put songs in a specific order?

I DO NOT, these bad boys are made to be thrown on shuffle! especially Mac’s, because it’s important to me that you don’t know when the somber piano music is gonna hit!

are those songs purely songs describing their chracters and their vibes or do these playlists also show music taste of these ocs?

THEY ARE BOTH!! Mac likes club music, but her sense of time is sort of skewed, so she listens to a blend of pop from several eras. I do think she really likes Billie, she vibes with the edginess of that one album. She’s polished, though, and keeps her doubts buried underneath pretty clothes and lip gloss and several layers of self-importance. The somber songs represent moments where her true feelings rear their heads — they’re abrupt and painful and stop her in her tracks.

Ves, on the otherhand, is possessed by her doubts. Her songs are more of a reflection of this internal struggle to figure out what she wants, how she feels, who she is. My initial concept for her includes more of a club-vibe for what she listens to, too, but I really think she enjoys rock. However isn’t the type to sit around feeling sorry for herself. She prefers to suppress that, by finding trouble to get into. So songs like Two Beers In and the songs by girl in red are there to describe her.

Linsey is mostlyyyy narrative-driven stuff. I don’t know she cares much for music. But she’s got a thick accent and has spent more time with her granny than she has her parents, so her songs are more focused on that aspect of her, as well as her struggles as she learns how to be a kid. Linsey isn’t supernatural, but you’ve got me rethinking that a bit. I might change that.

Finn is the one without a playlist. He’s just trying to keep it together. His dad was a fisherman and he followed the family business, and pretty much only owns clothes that are good for being outdoors. Finn is also human, and his humanity is important to me, so he’ll probably stay that way. I don’t have much lore for him other than that though. 😔

this manhwa summary/plot hit me out of nowhere, like I just recalled and went, oh my god, this would be the perfect idea for riteru

imagining Ritsu that accidentally confesses to teru. it’s completely by accident, and because a series of events that too complicated to explain. the problem is that now teru is convinced that Ritsu likes him, and nothing that Ritsu says will see as anything but that

“oh, brother-kun. I never knew.” teru says, with a bright smile. “is that how you act with your crushes? where you just shy all the time.... I almost got the wrong time”

this is all going to fast for ritsu to swallow. too fast for to ritsu to deal with. he’s still stuck in the moment where his own mouth betrayed him. “no...” he manages to get out, but it’s all already to late.

every time that ritsu tries to object, teru is going to think that he’s been shy and embarassed which is horribly not true. he hates that teru thinks is, doesn’t want teru to ever think that. the idea of him in — in —

and just dislikes teru more, because the ego and the audacity he has... just what. the fuck.

Ritsu has never said anything, teru is just running with this and Ritsu is aware of how he likes his brother, so he tries to use that to get out of this whole mess. “but what about—”

teru hasn’t realised that his love for mob was that obvious and goes, oh, and acts all more pitying towards ritsu and is like Ritsu is all heartbroken about his. and going this is all makes sense now. ritsu likes him, and that’s why he tried to intervene with his precious time with mob. it’s all very understandable now.

but of course, ritsu doesn’t get time to explain. he doesn’t get time to do anything. he has to go home, wondering, how did fuck this happen, why teru. blames on the elder woman who was there and had to speak then, and interrupt him him at that time, and blames reigen because actually this was all his fault. he wouldn’t be there if it wasn’t for him. teru wouldn’t be there if it wasn’t for him. the elder woman wouldn’t be there if it wasn’t him. clearly, the fault of mis-timing and him tripping of his words all falls on reigen.

he goes home, dark-faced and clutching the handle of his school bag, with a more deep distaste of reigen

oblivious to all that was occurring, and because of his simple act of telling mob something, reigen feels a ice-cold shudder at the back of his neck.

ritsu goes home, exhausted by everything, and sees mob there. sitting and looking happy, and expectant when he sees mob.

after a moment, ritsu asks his usual question of, how did your day go?

mob excitedly tells him how he managed to do this thing in the body improvement club which would seem like a trival thing to any person. but ritsu knows about his brother and his struggles and how this is a improvement. also yeah, I did say that mob says it excitedly but felt like I need to express how it sounds monotone and like it’s anything but exciteding and you weren’t someone that knew him you wouldn’t see how obviously exciting he is

before this, I was thinking that teru doesn’t say anything and ritsu is almost able to relax when he gets a call, and then, a date dropped on him. because of course, having the tense/anticipation built up while teru is the same as always and acting like he doesn’t know anything, until the moment that they are saying goodbye and mob is out of the frame —

doesn’t even GIVE time for ritsu to be aware of anything, or be prepared, when he turns to him after saying goodbye to mob, and with a smile, “

I was thinking along the lines that teru wasn’t here because of ritsu, but because of mob and plans they had but that went to poof that morning because of reigen or smth. after all, ritsu is the one who likes teru and teru isnt.

actually. maybe that doesn’t happen this scene but I WOULD LOVE a moment where ritsu misunderstands and teru immediately corrects about that, like how he wasn’t here for him or that he wasn’t waiting for him or smth. and that his life/thoughts doesn’t resolve him (implying that Ritsu’s does resolve teru) and honestly, he should know, that this whole setup is because ritsu is the one with the feelings and teru is here and being a good person and indulging him out of pityness

ritsu seethes. none of that is right. and he hates teru’s condescending attitude. like the AUDACITY of this man. (he’s also very, very embarrassed about his mistake which I imagine would him make go the mile in never mistaking teru’s actions; which wouldn’t in favour for teru when he does fall for ritsu and his actions become more genuine in the nature that it’s for love but ritsu has that iron wall up)
