Could you please give me an example of a fourth-wall breaking joke in EW, and how you would have written it (or what kind of joke you would have replaced it with) if you'd been given the chance?
well, theres plenty of examples of fourth wall breaks in eddsworld because they do them literally alllll the time
they genuinely just are not funny to me so i cant even really say how id change them without just removing the fourth wall breaking completely. i wouldnt make any of these comics because they just dont really have a joke to begin with, and i would have tried to go for a punnier joke rather than '*looks into the camera*' or 'yeah, this is a comic!'. like seriously i dont understand how this even counts as a joke but i am willing to accept that its a matter of taste. i would literally just change 4th wall jokes to be literally anything else that doesnt reference 'yeah guys... btw.. this is fiction .. yeah.. we said it 😏'
