with his life of being on the run, it’s rare that the two of you ever go on dates in public

but for your first Valentine’s Day together, he really wants to make it special 

he takes extra caution planning everything out—casing places, making sure they’re secure 

decides on taking you to a movie in the park and packs you guys a picnic 

has all your favourite snacks and drinks too!!

picks you up (also random but he totally drives a Vespa/electric scooter) mostly on time 

definitely seats you at a more secure place in the park where there’s not a lot of people

unpacks the picnic basket and spreads out a blanket and some pillows and a delicious spread of food 

tries to be all cute and feed you food but he’s so nervous he accidentally smashes it in your face 

he’s smooth with it tho and he’ll wipe your face off and kiss the spot better 

“are you cold? come closer.”

cuddles you while you watch the movie to keep you warm 

also off topic but he smells amazing 

you guys stay in the park long after the movie ends just stargazing 

he knows his constellations and points them out to you

Cassidy:

he probably didn’t realize Valentine’s was coming up until like two days before 

but this man goes all out

you’re just so special to him, he has to show you how much he loves you (even tho he literally treats you like royalty every day of the year)

plans a lowkey night for the two of you

also makes it a surprise (mostly because he forgot lmfao)

picks you up on his motorbike and takes you to his favorite diner 

he’s always wanted to take you there and have you try their apple pie 

all of the staff there know him and they’re in awe of the two of you together 

they definitely give you guys food in the shape of a heart and turn on some romantic music 

he’s weirdly nervous considering it’s him 

“so uh, after this I was thinkin we could go have a drink or two?”

he’s so flustered it’s adorable 

and obviously you agree, and he takes you to his favourite bar 

even if it is a lowkey night, you’re still happy you get to spend time with him

plus, he’s a private man, and him showing you his favorite places is his way of showing you his heart

“yknow something, darlin? I think we ought to turn this into a tradition.”

Genji:

as a proud supporter of Fuck Boy Genji™️, he definitely didn’t celebrate Valentine’s Day in his youth

doesn’t know exactly how to celebrate with you, just knows he wants to do something 

asks everyone for advice, but everyone is telling him something different and it just makes him all confused

he decides to trust his instincts on what to do

picks you up in a button down and cute jeans, holding a bouquet of your favorite flowers 

he doesn’t tell you where he’s taking you, but he’s so excited he’s practically vibrating the whole way

you actually have to squeeze his hand to calm him down a little bit

he takes you to this unassuming, kind of dark building on the edge of town

knocks on the door and someone opens a little slot, he says a random word and suddenly the door swings open to reveal a little staircase 

takes you down and into a totally chill speakeasy

it’s warm inside and there’s jazz music filling the air 

Genji looks absolutely stunning in the amber lighting too

you guys get a table with a great view of the stage and order yummy food and drinks

“Do you like it? I thought big crowds might be overwhelming and—“

Shut him up by kissing his cheek and telling him you love it

“I’ve never really…had a Valentine before, but I’m really glad you’re my first, y/n.”

Hanzo:  

unlike his brother, he probably had had a Valentine before, but he’s never been one to share his life with others 

however, he really wants to show you a good time and treat you to a good night

big crowds and people are not really his thing, so he sets out to make a special night at home for the two of you

invites you over for food and movies

cooks you one of his signature meals, and the two of you eat together at the table under candlelight 

definitely has warm saké ready for the both of you to drink too

has one of his favorite movies and one of your favorite movies ready to go on his tv 

cuddles up to you on the couch under a super soft throw blanket 

honestly one of the only times he really allows himself to be super clingy and attached to you 

always has his hands on you, probably kissing your neck and shoulders and head

makes sure to pay special attention to your favorite movie because he knows it means a lot to you 

“I know this isn’t much but…I really wanted to share something special with you away from prying eyes.”

you guys end up falling asleep on the couch together, and even though Hanzo wakes up at some point, he doesn’t move 

he’s just content to be with you

Junkrat:

the concept of a Valentine is kinda lost to him since he didn’t really have time for that growing up in Junkertown 

but he notices a bunch of heart shaped decorations when him and Roadhog are robbing a bank

which of course prompts him to ask his partner what they’re for 

the way Hog explains it is a little…different, but Junkrat literally has heart eyes the whole time 

he decides he wants to celebrate it with you so he spends hours making you a Valentine

makes you this cute little card (and he swears up and down that it won’t blow up when you open it)

and tried to make you cookies but ends up burning them :((

so he recruits Roadhog’s help and together they bake and decorate cute little sugar cookies for you

he gives them to you on Valentine’s and he’s super nervous the whole time

you honestly tear up a little at how cute it is 

the two of you end up eating them together and hanging out for the rest of the night 

“I think I like Valentine’s Day!” He announces. “Do you think…do you think we’ll spend the next one together, too?”

Lucio:

between being a wanted criminal for stealing from Vishkar and being a world renowned DJ, going out on Valentine’s Day is not the best idea

but that’s not going to stop him

he spreads out flower petals and lights candles across the apartment and waits for you to come home

settles in on the couch with his guitar, practising quietly in case you’re outside 

when you come home, you’re greeted by the smell of gourmet candles and flowers leading you down the hallway

you can hear the soft sounds of a guitar strumming and you follow the sounds 

you make it to your living room to see Lucio strumming his guitar, and when he sees you, his eyes light up

he starts singing a song he wrote for you, looking at you with his little heart eyes the whole time

you’re left on the verge of tears the whole time and when he’s done playing, you pull him in for a kiss 

“so, did you like it?”

you’re speechless tbh 

like he loves you enough to write an entire song just for you 

and that’s not the end, either, because he surprises you with a dinner reservation to your favorite restaurant 

and to make sure you’re not being swarmed by fans, he’s bought out the entire restaurant 

the two of you get to eat in peace and have a great Valentine’s Day 

“so I, uh, I wanted to know if you’d be okay with me putting that song on my album? I just—I love you so much, I want the whole world to know.”

Zenyatta:

partly because he’s a monk but also because he’s an omnic, I don’t think he’d really celebrate Valentine’s 

however if it’s important to you, he’ll definitely put the effort in to make you happy

plus he’s so lowkey, he’s open to trying anything 

when he hears you talking about Valentine’s Day to one of your friends, it gives him the idea to surprise you and celebrate it

he spends days coming up with ideas and pays extra close attention to your likes/dislikes 

would probably ask Genji for some advice before giving up when he realizes the boy is clueless 

settles on getting you a very personal, intimate gift and letting you decide where to take it from there

he gets you a new pair of headphones and makes you a mixtape/playlist to listen to to calm you down 

since he knows sometimes you get stressed out or anxious 

it’s so unexpected that you cry and the poor omnic is stuck figuring out if they’re tears of joy or not

How did you get hired at Disney?

My bosses found me on twitter through my Team Rocket fanart. They liked my drawing style and asked if I wanted to take a storyboard test. I did, I passed, I got interviewed and moved to LA two weeks later to start storyboarding.

Who's your favorite Pokémon?

What are your favorite ships?

Any ship with Jessie. Yamushipping, Rocketshipping and Hanamusashipping are my top three!

Who do you ship Ash with?

I was a big Pokéshipper when I was younger but nowadays don't really feel strongly about any of the ships involving the kid characters. I'm also in the "Ash is aroace" camp.

Do you have any trans headcanons?

You can find em here along with other headcanons! It should be noted that I don't usually marry myself to one hc (unless it's for a specific AU I'm trying to build out) and love seeing various interpretations of a character! HANAMUSA AU QUESTIONS

Where can I read all the comics in order?

Here! I update anytime I make a new comic and list them in chronological order (since I just draw comics at random points in the timeline as they interest me). This post also already answers some of the frequently asked questions about this AU like: How did Jessie and Delia meet? What are James and Meowth up to? How old are Jessie and Delia? etc.

What does "Hanamusa" mean?

Hanamusa is a combination of Delia and Jessie's Japanese names, Hanako and Musashi respectively.

When does this AU take place?

It takes place sometime after the Mezase Pokémon Master/To Be a Pokémon Master series. So all the events that happened in the series, unless retconned within the series, happened. Ash is 10 at the start of the comics.

What's the status between Jessie, James, Meowth and Giovanni/Team Rocket?

Not great terms since they were fired, but also not the worst terms. Giovanni just let the three of them go without any further issues. I will say that I've always loved the theory that Giovanni keeps Jessie specifically around because of her parentage and he as a soft spot for her that he keeps a secret. I feel like Matori was the one that got the three of them fired and Giovanni wasn't able to make an excuse for them this time (without showing nepotism/special treatment) so he was forced to let them go.

If you headcanon Delia as a lesbian, how did Ash come to be?

Delia was young when she had Ash and I hc that she just didn’t really explore her sexuality much! I myself didn’t realized I liked women until I was 18 and didn’t know I liked ONLY women until like 2 years ago. She got married, had a baby and realized after her husband left that she liked women (trans people exist obviously but I’m also interpreting Ash’s father as a cis man).

Who do you think Ash’s dad is?

I don’t know and I don’t really care to explore it. I’m going off of the novel interpretation that he’s just a deadbeat that left to be a trainer, failed and never came back because of the shame. He’s not important.

Isn’t Giovanni Ash’s dad?

That’s a common misconception that people remember wrong from the Pokémon Live show. Delia mentions she dated Giovanni but then left him and his gang after meeting Ash’s father. I also don’t consider the live show canon personally! I follow The Birth of Mewtwo timeline where Madame Boss founded Team Rocket.

Do you think Delia and Giovanni dated at least?

Nah, I think he’s too old for her? I always got the vibe from The Birth of Mewtwo that he was quite a bit older than Jessie and it’d be sus if he was dating Delia when she was married to, and had a child with her husband at 18/19. He’s a bad guy but not a BAD guy.

You mentioned you still ship Jessie and James. Why not make a Jessie, James, Delia polycule?

I have a few reasons I’ve mentioned before! 1. I’m in super deep with this AU already and I feel it’d be very confusing for casual viewers of my stuff if James was added into the relationship haha. 2. I’ve drawn Jessie and James together since 2011 and took this AU as an opportunity to try my hand at writing them as queer, platonic besties bc I love that interpretation of them a lot as well. 3. I’m not poly myself and the way I write this ship is largely based off of my experiences with my girlfriend. I just know I’d favor the Jessie/Delia of it all which isn’t fair and not a good interpretation of a poly relationship. All that said, I DO super enjoy seeing peoples’ poly headcanons and art!

Who does James end up with in this AU?

No one. He's aroace and is happy to be single

Do Jessie and James have all their Pokémon in this AU

I think they have all the Pokémon that they did by the end of Mezase Pokémon Master (all their Pokémon that were left at HQ). Most of their released Pokémon have stayed released and the Alola Pokémon are still in Alola. I bring back Arbok and Weezing post-Jessie and Delia getting married. I may bring back Chimecho, Growlie and Cacnea if I think of an idea I like!

Does Ash travel with anyone at this point of his life?

I don't have anyone in particular in mind! I could see him making new friends (Nemona???) or traveling with different combinations of old friends. Like him, Misty and Goh, him, Dawn and Cilan, him, Serena and Lillie etc.

Will Delia ever get over her phobia of snake Pokémon

Not fully! I think overcoming fears is fine and good but I think real PHOBIAS are much harder to get past and I don't want to cheapen it. She slowly gets used to Jessie's Seviper specifically and gets to the point where she can pet it comfortably with Jessie in the room. But otherwise, still scared and would need that same amount of time per Pokémon

Is Jessie gaining weight or is it just me?

Not just you! Jessie puts on a bit of relationship weight overtime as you'll see in the later comics in the timeline. Jessie grew in poverty, never knowing when her next meal would be and that continued into her life as a Team Rocket member. Once she was able to settle down (with a woman who runs her own restaurant no less) she's able to live a healthier lifestyle with regular meals and puts on some weight because of that.

Does Jessie ever feel self conscious about gaining weight?

Nope! She feels happier and healthier and hotter. She's also unreasonably excited to clear out her old clothes and get a new wardrobe.

Would Jessie and Delia ever have kids together or adopt?

Nah, Ash is enough for them! I have come up with hypothetical kids for them but they're not canon to this AU. Just a fun little thing for me.

Will you ever put this on webtoon?

Nah. People mostly ask me this because they want to read everything in the order of the timeline but to my knowledge, you can’t reorder chapters or installments which would defeat the purpose. I also don’t think nintendo fan stuff would fly there. Also, also it’s just extra work and another place to upload and I want to keep this all fun for myself~

-words of affirmation/praise is HUGE to him. it’s his love language, regardless of if that love is romantic or platonic

-i’m serious he probably constantly reminds the people around him that he cares about them

-that means he would constantly reassure you by saying things like “i’m so proud of you”

-he’s also really good to go to when you’re upset. he understands you in a way nobody else does and he always seems to know what you need

-as soft as he seems, he’s also fiercely protective. like he has a lot of control over his emotions, especially anger, but it snaps when somebody (you) is in danger. genji has the biggest “touch them and you die” vibes

I've said it before but I love the hc that Emily is Moira's niece, and before people say it, and I've seen people say it, yes I know not all red heads are or have to be related. I'm not an idiot nor am I focusing on them "looking similar", the reason I like this HC is because it adds a lot to Emily's character while not taking away anything from Moira. It's basically the reason why I think that Emily is an art teacher.

With Emily it adds relations with other Overwatch characters outside of Lena. She would have a dynamic with Cassidy and Genji that isn't necessarily based off of her relationship with Lena. It also adds a little into her own character as I doubt her and Moira would still be in contact, let alone get along. I could honestly see Emily withholding the information that she's related to Moira, not because Lena would be upset (I honestly doubt she would care), but because it something she doesn't want to talk about.

And it doesn't take away from Moira, sure it gives her sister, but it doesn't really mean she has to have a relationship. Or maybe she does care? Idk that's up to you, it a HC do what you want with it. What I mean is it doesn't take away from Moira being a villain.

Big fan of your hc about Myron being a vault city citizen, do you wanna share more on it? No biggie if you don't wanna!

ALRIGHT FAIR WARNING HERE it is. an extremely lengthy explanation and i've been meaning to share it here anyhow :] take this doodle of him as well for a little extra

As a preface, this headcanon is entirely for funsies (and autism). Some bits may seem like a stretch of the imagination, but it's fun to give him some kind of backstory, so take it all as you will.

I use dialogue from Myron's talking head segments, as well as the floating dialogue seen when Myron is in active combat (how canonical the combat dialogue is may be up for debate, but for the sake of this…essay? we'll say it's true).

To start, let us briefly examine Myron's character. Notably, the parts that relate most to this essay.

Myron is intelligent. To give him credit where credit is due, he is smart and thoroughly understands the subjects that he talks about. The people around him know this as well, and remark on it too (mostly at how wasted his potential is). He cares little for the well-being of others, especially slaves, whom he views as objects, and mutants are worth even less to him. He also has a very high opinion of himself, often referring to himself in the third person and boasting about his intellectual capabilities (calling himself a genius, a God, etc. etc).

So, we know he has not lived in New Reno for his entire life, only being there roughly a year or so. As he puts it, he came across the Mordino's way back when, so where was he before that? Just wandering the wastes? Or perhaps coming from another settlement?

Myron, compared to any other companion in the game, mentions Vault City quite a bit. Even more than John Cassidy, who has been tending to a bar outside the Vault City walls for a presumably long time. Though he shares the same distaste that many others do for the city, he also possesses what feels like insider's knowledge that the average wastelander would not have.

A lot of this knowledge presents itself when Myron's intelligence is threatened. If the Chosen One is smart enough, they can engage in a dialogue with Myron and demonstrate to him just how much they know about Jet and its chemical compounds. He will snip at the Chosen One for asking too many questions and interrogate them, asking where they learned all of this stuff anyway. Their understanding of pharmaceuticals is on a similar level to his own, which he may take as them learning it from the same place. Makes sense, considering during combat, Myron will mention he has not been in a fight since the fifth grade. Nowhere else in the game beyond a stray tombstone in Golgotha is any school mentioned or found. One can assume that Vault City would be the only settlement nearby with an established education system, thus reinforcing his belief.

Should the Chosen One pry him about a cure for Jet and suggest endorphin blockers, when asked where they could find such a thing, Myron will suggest Vault City first. He explains they have a 'pretty good' medical warehouse, and laughs when they want to try it as an option, saying they would have more luck getting a radscorpion to part with its tail than getting Vault City to give up anything. The city is widely known for its medical advancements, but Myron could have more of an idea of just how extensive their medical know-how is, having experienced it firsthand. Myron also proclaims that he is a 'natural', 'self-taught', and possesses 'none of that bullshit Vault City 'purer-than-thou' 'tude', which is funny since he spouts off his own 'purer-than-thou' 'tude every time he opens his mouth. Of course, he may have some level of natural intellect, but the rest of it likely stems from an education.

He also remarks that the citizens are a 'Buncha "genetically pure" humans. They got their noses so high in the air they'll drown when it rains'. Again, pretty humorous regarding his own high-and-mighty sense of self.

We can look at his propensity to look down upon slaves/servants. In Vault City, slaves are integrated enough into society to call for a Servant Allocation Center. Where citizens regard them with little to no respect, Myron, having grown up in Vault City, likely followed that ideology, too. The city's negative view of mutants could also explain his own distaste for them.

Myron also makes a lot of Dungeons and Dragons references, which is really just a funny haha 90s pop culture thing at the end of it, but it is fun to imagine that, at some point, he might have had his own little group when he was younger. This bit is just speculation for the sake of entertainment.

All of this raises more questions though; why did he leave? How did he leave? And how did he make it to New Reno without dying on the way there?

As for why he left, we know that Myron does not appreciate being hindered or being told what to do. Working for the Mordino's, he will complain that they only want him to focus on Jet when he wants to make new drugs instead. He complains as well about the lack of respect, so he could have left Vault City for similar reasons. Perhaps his talents were recognized, and he was allowed to experiment more in the field of chemistry. However, Myron could have found Vault City's restrictions less than ideal, giving him the incentive to leave and find somewhere with more creative freedom (he can leave New Reno for the same reasons, anyhow).

How he left and how he got to New Reno is difficult to explain. Myron has virtually no survival skills, and it is a considerable distance from Vault City to New Reno. Hitched a ride with a caravan, maybe? Him managing to escape a settlement covered in laser turrets and guards is also unlikely, but perhaps there was some kind of weakness he was smart enough to exploit and slip through.

Any additional thoughts on this bit would be appreciated :]

thoughts and headcanons about what happened to the og mystery incorporated after they left Crystal Cove

[ to clarify the situation, in my hc they all have loving parents (with the exception of Ricky and Brad’s fathers), that weren’t perfect and had some issues (ex : Judy’s dad has trouble showing that he cares about his kids, Cassidy’s parents who can be overprotective etc)

so yes, leaving them was absolutely horrible for the kids ]

The gang : they stayed together a few weeks after leaving Crystal Cove, sleeping in motels or in the Enigma Machine. But after one big fight they separated. I think they couldn’t stay together because of how hurt they all were and because they were lost and didn’t know how to react to what happened. (a bit like mystery incorporated at the end of season 1)

Cassidy : I think that Cassidy would be the one to suffer the most, because of how much she loves and cares about her family. So when she leaves Crystal Cove, I think there’s immediately something that changed in herself and in her relationship with her friends, especially Ricky. I do believe that they broke up relatively quickly after leaving the town. She felt numb and not capable of loving after what she went through, and needed to start a new life (ex : she changed her name)

Ricky : after his breakup with Cassidy, he completely disappeared and came back to Crystal Cove 5 years after leaving the town, to start Destroido. I see him missing his parents in the beginning, but also simply giving up on that feeling after a few years (the one he’s really missing (and he doesn’t want to admit it) is Pericles, even after what happened). His parents were the first to leave the town after their son’s disappearance. But he definitely tried to contact his mom a few times, before completely giving up.

Brad & Judy : Brad definitely blames himself for what happened in the church and later on in the cave. As the leader of mystery incorporated, he blames himself for bringing them there in the first place, and wanting to investigate. Regret turned into anger and bitterness over time, and was a reason for their fight after leaving the town. Judy definitely missed her family a lot and never recovered from loosing them.

Now regarding what happened with Fred, here’s what I think happened :

Something that always intrigued me is that Brad came to Crystal Cove with Fred alone. Mayor Jones specifically stated that Judy wasn’t there and that’s something very interesting. My hypothesis is that they clearly didn’t planed on having a kid two years after leaving Crystal Cove, since they were hella young and surely didn’t had the money to take care of a kid. Brad then took Fred to the only place where someone could possibly help them, Crystal Cove, where both of their family lived, in a desperate way of asking their parents for help (maybe for money, or simply advice on how to raise up a kid). But once he got there, he realised that both of their families left Crystal Cove. At that moment I can imagine that he felt some kind of mixed feelings, like a mix of sadness and betrayal.

At the same time, the freak realised that Brad is back in town, he panicked and tried to find a way to make him leave the town. And the only idea he had to make that happen (since both of their families already left the town and can’t be use to blackmail them) is taking Fred. We know that after that Jones decides to raise up Fred and the rest is history.

I think that such an event definitely traumatised both of them (and specifically Brad since he’s the one that brought Fred with him to Crystal Cove, blaming himself even more), and that they never healed from that. Explaining why they are acting so weird as adults later on. Brad and Judy only had each other to get trough life and they knew that as long as they stayed together, they could make it. And because the idea of loosing another person they loved after loosing their families, their friends and their son was surely terrifying.

He was williams least favorite but they had a weird relationship between him moving out and elizabeths death. like some days william despised him and michael just wanted to blow them both up with his mind and some days he comes home like "Hey mike whats up want some pizza for dinner tonight?" and michaels like "fuck yeah why not."

he's henrys favorite afton as a teen and he knows it. and he uses it. Henry fuckin loved that kid he had the man wrapped around his finger. William also notices it and he gets mad at henry over it.

anyways phone guy hcs (which will likely differ from the main fandom's interpretations but ehhhHhh idc

1. his name is terrence collins (i gotta find the exact post but i remember someone suggested collins as his last name bc Calling and that's hilarious)

2. he was born in 1969 as the older of two siblings (the younger being a girl named maryam). their dad fought in the vietnam war and died. his mom had cassidy while the dad was away, and the Implications of that (as well as her and terry looking completely different) got her bullied a lot but that's for a separate post

3. he mostly raised maryam on his own since their mom worked multiple jobs to make ends meet. he started working part time at 15 and dropped out of school at 16 to work full time so that his mum could take a bit of a break. (maryam was 13 by that point at could mostly handle herself at home).

4. he struggled a lot with schoolwork and wasn't exactly very smart (dyslexia + undiagnosed adhd) but he really enjoyed english and poetry. absolutely the "dnd kid" that sat in the corner of the cafeteria. he never got bullied super bad but he wasn't really that popular outside of his small group of friends. he was also vaguely acquainted with charlie before he died but mostly just bc they were in the same grade (in an au where sammy exists, terry n sammy wouldve been friends before sammy moved during the divorce).

5. massive fan of star trek. textbook nerd. he didn't like star wars when it came out "on principle" bc it was "blatantly just star trek but less nuanced" (he's a hater. he's such a hater <3). he probably wouldve mellowed out as he grew up

6. i think maryam probably left to go to college in like engineering or smth. she was always the smarter kid and the family focused all their resources on making sure she got a good education. terrence most of the time didn't mind but sometimes he feels a bit bad.

7. he died shortly (like a month) before his 24th birthday. i dont know where his mum was but she was likely with maryam at the time (i love angst and i want him to die alone)

cassidy got his tattoo first because ashe was afraid of the gun. originally she got just the skull & print then added the roses & thorns a few years after they split

before cassidy was publicly part of overwatch i like to think ashe & frankie tried to keep tabs on him but couldn't due to overwatch's high security. they only found out what happened to him after him being an agent was publicized

as above, i don't think they actually got much of a chance to say goodbye. blackwatch was a very undercover org. so ashe most likely has no clue why he left, she's especially not aware of the fact that he left to keep the rest of the gang from rotting in a prison along with him.

he is so excited to go to the beach

this man LOVES to swim and play beach volleyball and you can’t change my mind

you end up being the driver while he plays his ‘perfect beach’ playlist

you don’t mind because the way he hums and taps his hands on the dash is adorable

definitely packs a speaker and blasts music all day

1000% wears his own merch and probably has cute little green board shorts he wears

sets up an umbrella for you to lay under and put all your drinks

he’s in the ocean more than he is on land 

probably brought some pool floaties or something to play with in the water 

if you don’t get in he will totally throw you into the water 

and starts an all out water war

if you don’t like the water though he respects that

buys ice cream for the two of you 

and spends twenty minutes trialling every flavour first

doesn’t wear sunscreen himself but will apply it to you as often as he can

he pulls them out of literally nowhere to douse you in water

but if he’s reading you’re more than welcome to lay on him

make sure he applies sunscreen!!

he has delicate skin and burns easily and WILL be grumpy if he gets burnt

he’ll go in the water if you ask him nicely

but don’t splash him or else

when you’re swimming he would definitely let you wrap your arms around his shoulders while he swims around and just tow you

he is probably a god at beach volleyball tbh

and shuffleboard but we don’t talk about that

makes sure you stay hydrated the whole time and is constantly pushing you to try the food he made

Hanzo

He was super intent when you told him because he'd been worried about you for a while

He's always super understanding about it

He always has food on him in hopes the off chance that you are hungry will pop up

On bad days he'll be right there to sit next to you and he never makes you feel bad about it

Genji

He's really glad you told him and he looks up different ways to help

If you even slightly seem like you're hungry he'll make you any food you want in hopes you'll eat it

No insults or passive aggressive statements can be directed your way becasue Genji will personally deal with it

Kiriko

She's super understanding and never pushes you to eat if you don't want to

She does try to entice you to eat with donuts but it's mainly in a joking manner

On bad days she's there to comfort you and if you're feeling weak she'll carry you around and stumble dramatically to make you laugh

Junkrat

He's super confused but doesn't want to seem like he doesn't know what's going on so he waits till you finish talking and goes to ask Roadhog about it

Afterwards he actually gets Odessa to help him because she knows about eating disorders and she pitys him not knowing how to help

He looks super proud of himself when he tries the tips that Roadhog and Dez gave him

Roadhog

He actually knows a bit about eating disorders

He'll offer getting you therapy in order to help

On bad days he never leaves your side in order to help you feel more comfortable

He's also a pretty good cook with the right ingredients so if you ever happen to be hungry you're getting the best food he can cook

She's pretty knowledgeable on the subject because she had a friend who had a eating disorder

She does her best to help you in any way possible and any way you tell her she can

On bad days she has food somewhere in her bag just in case and she constantly checks if you're feeling weak or lethargic

He immediately goes to do some research in order to help you

I've drawn Junkzo a little bit! Don't really think abt them much, tho... in my mind Hanzo is kind of like a free agent (?) for OW the same way Junk & Hog are, but he travels a lot doing his own thing so he doesn't stay at any of the bases very long or frequently. He & Junkrat cross paths occasionally when Junk's in the US w Cassidy. (???? see my highboom post for more abt this ig)

Idk much abt Hanzo tbh, I usually imagine him being kind of reserved but polite/formal around Junkrat; and Junkrat being friendly & curious w him. I think Hanzo gets baffled by some of Junkrat's antics, but also appreciates his positive energy ig. (??) I also fsr hc that Junkrat has trouble remembering Hanzo's name (?? bc they dont see each other often). He has some sort of admiration for Hanzo's self-discipline and maturity. (??? Idk sorry if this hanzo characterization is off)

As for Genji/Junkrat, I haven't thought about it at all, sorry!! I'm sure it's fun, tho! Tbh I kinda avoid thinking abt genji bc he's hard to draw (????????????)
