"Well, well... All right! It's a miracle you could convince me, and I'll repay you for the drink and song. I don't like to stay in debt. First of all, let me say I'm not a very good storyteller, and my stories aren't very sweet. You won't be in Drezen for long, right? I doubt I'll see you again in the future. If I started telling my story, believe me, it would take a few nights. Hold on, what do you mean calling you by your name, sugar-voiced Lark? I won't, because it's more interesting!

…I hide a lot of things from those closest to me. If I have any. I often hear from others that I change topics too easily, especially from one restless boy. I've never liked looking into the future, because you never know what will happen tomorrow. On one hand, it sounds a little scary... Maybe one day I'll tell them, and him too.

I had too much shit behind me. So much that I should shut up. I don't think you'd believe me the first time.

You know, I used to not really care about this Crusade or the people around me. You should have seen how everyone reacted to me at first. The obscure bandit turned knight-commander, the tiefling, who looked like “ a succubus” or “ a whore”. Or whatever those "noble" paladins and knights called me for my looks and temper. Never mind. I've been called worse in the River Kingdoms. But now I see that they look at me with hope, despite what I do... It gives me a bitter taste in my mouth. I don't... I don't want to seem weak to everyone. It's really annoying.

Hmm… Did you see the adorable little elf with the burns? Ember. Sometimes she draws a crowd of onlookers. Her eyes, words and actions... When that girl looks at me, it's like she sees right through me. These moments make me feel pretty… Vulnerable? Oh, no. Too many bad thoughts in my head again. Now you owe me another pint!"

"Ah, come on! Another tough question again? I really don't know! I had a lot of good and bad moments.

I don't know about you, little Lark, but my childhood ended quickly and darkly. I'll tell you about the good one. When I was five years old, I saw my dad carving something for me. It wasn't just another wooden toy, and he didn't say what it was. To be honest, I wanted a dragon toy so bad! I begged him long and impatiently until he finally finished and hung a simple amulet around my neck. The amulet bore the symbol of Cayden Cailean. Then he said to me, "Be brave, strong, and believe in good as always, Lissa. I can feel the spirit of adventure in you. Perhaps in the future you will continue our family business, or travel to other countries. That's your choice."

My first piece of jewelry... Ha ha! After that, I pounced on my mom's stuff and started imagining myself as a rich lady in a dress, with lots of gold rings and precious bling. I dreamed of getting rich, making our tavern bigger, buying a big house near the sea, with lots of servants and cats, maybe even finding a handsome husband and living happily ever after! Uh... My parents scolded me severely for making such a mess.

Believe in good, right? And foolish childish dreams... As you see, something went wrong."

I hope I portrayed her character well. I don't know about the second question. Many memories in her childhood defined her. So I decided to show one of them - about her childhood dream of a good ending.

How it ended: Fluffy steals meat from hand.

The Invader was probably my favorite character in the movie, at first I was confused why Marvin wasn't playing the alien antagonist role, but by the end this guy really stood out on his own

THE INVADER IS A LOT OF FUN! tbh i didn’t really have any strong feelings on him at first (pig and duck bias), but i was able to appreciate him a lot more in my latest rewatch in the theater. it would have been neat to see Marvin in his place, especially since Duck Dodgers (the show) shows that he does have the capacity to be a serious threat, BUT i love how limber and exaggerated his animation could be. i think he fits the hysteria of the film well while also preserving the more slow, creeping moments. i love Marvin and would have loved to have seen him (again, rip to the Duck Dodgers film proposed in the ‘90s), but i ultimately think The Invader was the best call because a) the “synergy” and recognizability of Marvin could maybe be a bit distracting and take away from any threat he posed, and b) his whole thing is that he’s an absolute dweeb!! Chuck Jones originally named him Antwerp because he looks like an ant and he’s a twerp! and as the story of the film survives now, i think casting an entirely new character was the best bet for preserving the sort of intimidation they were wanting to go for

just read the spring broken special and one thing i want to comment on is that idw sonic background characters are so cute . why are they putting so much effort into designing characters that will get little to no attention. im not complaining but you know

The council has no idea that Sunstreaker is on Earth. He is a completely unknown variable!

Bee, Strongarm, and Sideswipe were all seen in the first episode, but Sunny slipped in later. The only people who see him are all bots who would never tell anyone.

The enforcers show up and immediately have all these crimes that the others committed and then they turn to Sunstreaker. They have no idea who this guy is. No one said anything about another bot being there.

Who is this child? They don't know. They also wouldn't know the Twins are, well, twins. (i will say that there is another character that will be there, but i'm certain that that character has done at least something they could try and use. nothing big but i don't think they'd care)

I am changing Sunny's singular CANON ALIGNED APPERANCE that I fragging forgot about. There's a scene in one of the last few episodes that has so many tiny, itty bitty mentions, and I kinda need to get rid of Sunny's for this to make sense. Giving Sunstreaker my deepest apologies, but in return I'm writing him a fic where he gets to be present for everything, so that hopefully makes up for this.

I think my BIGGEST problem with the IDW run is how much of a strong grip SEGA has on it. Mainly cause of the whole fall out with the Archie run and Pender being...well Pender...they have a fuck ton of rules that the team have to basically bend over backwards to try and write around. Prime examples; Sonic can never lose and he is not allowed to kill, Knuckles cannot be involved in the plot less it involves Angel Island or the Master Emerald, there is to be no romance and everyone MUST stay in the 'will they won't they' phase, no reference to Sonic Forces or Sonic Chronicles, no new characters less approved by SEGA, Shadow...boy you don't want to know...and that isn't even include smaller things like how big they can make the expressions, Eggman, and such. While this doesn't excuse some of the plot or writing...it's not their fault. Hell, the reason we haven't gotten ages of some character like Starline or Mimic is cause SEGA won't let them say their ages.

Love how the new PLL writers were like okay FINE fans were right to point out that A was never really a slasher villain and continuing to use that moniker for these new villains is a slap in the face to the original evil girlbosses-- Mona, Cece, and Ello Spensah-- who worked 👏 hard 👏 scheming and stooging (sometimes YEARS of preparation!) in order to torture the original liars...... so for these new girls we will call the villains B instead :)

Cherry's been doing Fine in Quesadilla Island. It's very different from the DSMP that's for sure, and even more different from the time she met Cellbit (HG sure was something), but it still has that underlying sense of Danger. She's always on edge. She tries to enjoy the island, to keep her little boy Narciso safe, to relax and live the new life she's given. This is supposed to be her vacation and by God is she going to have a fucking good time.

She makes a small home underground. It's her little hidey-hole, just like she made one in the DSMP. There's tunnels that lead to many directions, though she decided the one near the French Chunk wasn't worth keeping until that place stopped being haunted (whatever's going on there, it gives her a headache and she keeps fainting when she gets closer, so no way in Hell she's going that way). The second actual house she built besides her hole was in the favela solidariedade com outros brasileiros é o mais importante claro , but she's rarely home. One day she's visiting Cellbit in his motherfucking bougie castle, another she's at Forever's mega base, after that she's hanging out at Chumelabs, Casualonas, Phil's house, hell, she's always checking up on people and offering to hang out. When an egg needs a babysitter, she's ready to help out.

She was so used to just being by herself in the DSMP besides her very few friends that this sense of community and companionship made her wary at first, but now? It's kinda become second nature. She just hopes it doesn't get exploded like her last time with other people

Walt Disney World revealing concept for a Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After and they actually got villains that don't get much attention from Disney there like Long John Silver, Lyle Tiberius Rourke, Helga Katrina Sinclair, The Horned King, etc, has made my mood a little better tonight at least.
