Ah yes, the very capitalist conflict of partisan movements vs. četniki, domobranci, and ustaši in various regions of Yugoslavia. Totally not an issue of them being monarchists, fascists, and/or religious fanatics.

Can’t say I’m surprised by them trying to rewrite history, that’s what the Yugoslav Communist Party did after the war to discredit a variety of decentralised movements in favour of a narrative where Tito personally led the rebellion against fascist occupation.

Hell, TIGR, one of the world’s first explicitly anti-fascist rebellions, was erased from Yugoslav history textbooks, and the surviving members were kept under watch by the secret police for decades. Super normal thing to do to an anti-fascist movement.
