So for my next mutual drawing we have @starrystargazer who I accidentally made look like an oompa loompa 😅 I wanted to play with colors while I was limited by my 24 set of Holbein pencils. Yeah you might be about to cut up a kid that just turned into a blueberry but hey at least the colors pop!

(side note these pencils gave me a more difficult time than I anticipated so in terms of physical work this is one of the toughest drawings I've done lol. But it was worth it 😃)

I love your inktober art! Can you tell me what kind of paper you are using? It looks really sturdy and seems to handle all that ink pretty well!

Thank you very much! Inktober is my favorite.

This year was 100% 9x12 300 series Strathmore Bristol board.  I used both vellum and smooth surfaces.  I didn’t do a lot of dry brushing so the vellum surface wasn’t terribly useful... but I used it anyway.
