summary: you fall asleep on your boyfriend's chest

"honey…?"

you were laying on top of your boyfriend, cuddled up against him. though you hadn't said anything the last few minutes, making him wonder if you were still awake.

"are you sleeping?"

he gently removed some hair from your face, finding your eyes closed and still no reply from you. 

"i can't go anywhere like this…"

seven pouted, knowing you'd wake up as soon as he'd try to push you off him, no matter how gentle he'd try to be. 

"seems like i'll have to go to sleep a bit earlier today…"

ideal accomplice seven theory to me is that after the fng he's bothered by inconsistencies in his memories and these two kids -- this one kid? -- alone and a search for answers leads him to crash keys and so his amnesia isn't totally faked buuuuut isn't 100% honest either. do you see the vision

Started this a month ago, dropped it cause I wasn’t satisfied and finished it completely in a frenzy that took up my whole day 👍🏻 anyways 999 is a video game

Adapting their hairstyles was a challenge since I wanted to keep the number of tentacles accurate to each species. Lotus' ponytail is only two large tentacles tied together and her side braids are constructed the same way that the braid style from Splatoon 3 is! Santa's little spikes follow the same principle as the messy grilled tentacles style (from 3 as well)

I could have done other species but I decided to go with inklings and octolings to keep things simple. I have some concept art for alternate designs though! I might make them happen sometime
