I feel like we tend to overlook these scenes in favor of laughing at how obnoxiously egotistical he is (and he very much is) but the core reason behind why he's Darkwing Duck, the thing that keeps him getting back out there and helping people (even if it's not his job like in the second clip) is because he knows how it feels to need a hero and to have no one help you, so he does everything he can to make a difference. That's what it's always been about. Saving people.

Darkwing Duck is not in the hero business for the ego stroking (that's just a wonderful perk), he's in it for standing up to bullies like he faced when he was little, and protecting those who can't protect themselves

DUCKCEMBER DAY 5: 91 Negaduck

If there's one thing that Negaduck hates the most about Christmas (And there is a laundry list of things he hates about the holiday...) is Christmas carolers. Even in the negaverse, carolers are everywhere, and Negaduck has his own little gift to them. He better hope the bomb won't cause a bigger fire for the mantle place though that'll ensue more Christmas spirit...

ducktales really had to hardcore yank drake’s ‘i smoke a line of cocaine behind hamburger hippo after fighting megavolt’ character design to replace it with a facetuned love interest from a disney channel original movie . u already kno frank mustve went back to the source material and noticed drake’s busted ass face and they had to scrap that shit immediately . he was literally too ugly to allow even a trace of his original face associate w/ the masterpiece they were abt to be making . rebooted his whole ass face then gave him his purple flannel and called it a day smh . mess
