As you close the messenger app and dare yourself to check the time... it's only 7:25. You groan out in frustration. V said he would call you after 8 when he texted you after getting off FaceTime earlier, and you still have half an hour to go.

Before you start thinking up things to do until then, your mind wanders to the texts you just had with your besties.

Mara asked you to ask V about showing them the selfie. It's a reasonable question to ask him, truthfully. The thing is, you already felt like you asked for so much from him. He didn't have to use your number to get in contact with him again, but he did. He didn't have to show you what he looked like, even though you asked while intoxicated, but he did. You just feel like so much of a bother if you ask him this too.

But that doesn't stop you from wondering his answer...

Close to an hour passes, and your phone finally rings. You take your phone off of the sink since you put it down while washing your hands, and an instant smile spreads onto your face. You have a feeling every time you see V's name pop up now, it's going to give you this reaction.

The familiar open call sound rings, and you're greeted by a sweaty and handsome V.

"Well, hello there, beautiful!"

You giggle into the camera and cover your mouth with your sleeve.

"Hey V! Someone looks awfully sweaty right now."

You hope the dim light in your bathroom covers up that your face is becoming redder by the second. It's not like V is shirtless, but seeing how sweaty he is right now is making your mind go haywire.

Maybe Mara is right... you are sex deprived.

"Yeah, one of my roommates convinced me to work out with him after practice. Worst decision of my life!"

"Practice?"

Although your question was clear as day, at the exact same time you asked it, V jumps onto his bed, and your question gets muffled by his loud 'Uph!'

"What was that y/n?"

While V was asking you this question, so you can repeat your own question, he skimmed his fingers through his hair. V's lying on his bed, with his phone held up high above him. You can see now that he's only wearing a black tank-top, and see much more than what you previously saw on the last FaceTime call.

His collarbones are peaking out of his shirt, and they look perfectly sculpted. His neck is thick, but not to the point it would look terrible. If anything, it makes you want to bite and lick it to find out how his skin tastes. V has one of his arms under his head, and it gives you the perfect view of how big his muscles are. You want to know so badly what it would be like to run your hands up and down his arms. Bring his hand up to your neck...

"Y/n?"

"Who - what?"

V laughs at your apparent dreamy-like state. You cover your face again with your sleeve and move the camera, so it only shows half your face for a few seconds as your blush calms down.

"Oh my God, I'm so sorry... did you ask something?"

V sits up from his spot on the bed, and you don't miss the smirk he has on his face while moving.

"I did... where are you right now? It looks kinda dark."

You glance at the one light in your bathroom. The lightbulb has been faulty for a while now. You've meant to replace it, but you keep forgetting every time you go shopping. Maybe you'll invite Mara and Ky to go shopping later in the week. That way, at least one of them, most likely Ky, will remind you to buy the bulb.

"Yeah, I'm in the bathroom, and it's dark in here because the lightbulb is close to dying. See."

You flip the camera around and point it at the blinking, dim light above your mirror. You don't even realize that by showing V your light, he can see you in the mirror too. Where you're only wearing an oversized gray shit that covers close to nothing of your legs and a pair of blue panties.

"Holy shit~."

You hear V breath into the microphone. You look back at your phone and realize then that you showed him you're practically half-dressed form. Instead of acting like a blubbering mess, you flip the camera around and fane total innocence.

"What's wrong?"

"Umm... n-nothing."

Now V is the one trying to hide his face, and you mentally pat yourself on the back for creating this reaction out of him. Hoping he's feeling the same gooey and dirty feelings you were feeling.

"Mhmm, sure, V. That's why you stuttered, right?"

You bat your eyelashes and lean against the wall, tilting your head to the side to expose more of your neck to him. V was definitely catching your drift on how this conversation was going to go. V glides his lip in between his teeth, and just like you, you can tell he's feeling a particular type of way about you right now.

"Um, y/n... I think I should tell you-"

Before V could continues, your phone goes off with a text from Mara. You swipe up on it and nod your nod head for V to continue. But just as he's about to open his mouth to restart again, Mara sends you repeated texts, then tries calling you.

You groan out of annoyance and slide down the wall in defeat. Mara has officially become a FaceTime cock block.

"Sorry, just give me one second. Mara is blowing up my phone."

He laughs, but you don't miss the annoyance flash in his eyes.

"Don't worry about it. Mara is the one that - you know - loves sex?"

You giggle at the way V remembers Mara from the few times you talked about your friends with him. 

"Yup-" You pop the p. "I'll call you back after I see what she wants, okay?"

V nods his head, and you end the call. As soon as you do, you look at yourself in the mirror and smirk at yourself. You know what you were implying earlier. You know, when you call him back there's definitely going to be way more of that type of conversation. Flirting may not be your specialty, but hearing V flirt with you out loud is your goal for the night. 

You walk into your room and sit on the bed. Preparing yourself for whatever Mara just needed to talk to you about.

The second Mara answers the call, you hear one of her favorite songs blast into the phone. You move your phone away from your ear to prevent yourself from having busted eardrums.

"Cause of my Euphoria~."

You hear the song play, and it just makes you so annoyed that Mara called you just to make you listen to this song. Personally, it's one of your favorite songs by BTS too, you even have it on your playlist, but you don't get why it was so essential to blast it in your ears right now.

You scream Mara's name into the phone and hear the song pause.

"I want to marry him!" You hear Mara cry into the phone.

You blink a couple times and then realize she's talking about her bias, or whatever the fuck it's called, when you like one member more than the others.

"Mara, was it really that important for you to call me and potentially make me go deaf, to blast this song? I was just on FaceTime with V."

"What, you were face timing V? I thought he was going to call you later? Why did you answer my phone call, dummy?"

You bite your tongue, so you don't potentially yell at one of your best friends for being so naive. 

"Because you were texting me repeatedly and then decided to call me! What was I supposed to do? Let you call and text me until 2 am?"

"You know you got a point there... I'll go annoy Ky or something."

Before you could tell her that's a foolish idea, Mara hangs up the phone. You roll your eyes and sigh as the screen greets your with your wallpaper. 

You really need new friends. 

You call back V right away, and he answers within seconds. He has his famous boxy smile on, and his head is tilted to the side. You smile at him before being so damn beautiful, and he doesn't even know it. 

"Sorry about that, my friend was just being annoying. As always."

"Is everything okay? What did she need?"

"Oh no nothing-" You roll your eyes. "- Just obsessing over this band, so she decided to blast a song of theirs in my ears."

You giggle, and V chuckles at how insane one of your friends sounds. You love Mara with every ounce of your being, but sometimes you really want to punch her in the face. 

After a few silent seconds, V asks you a question that ends up changing the playful mood of your FaceTime call entirely. 

"So... what band was it?"

"Do you know BTS?"

Ending Notes: Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! This book is finally coming together! My toes are literally curled from writing this last scene! I have so many things, and ideas, on how this conversation is going to go down. Let’s just say, they all end with the reader being the same clueless person she’s been the entire time, and a trying not to laugh Taehyung LMAO! I can’t wait to write it and post it already!
