Wintersoul Report Day 7

*~Thought my days of reporting misconduct were over. Well, hey there everyone. A very concerned goopman back again to give you the rundown on this day’s shenanigans. Assassinations! The Persecution of a Criminal! ... And sledding..~

*~But first, let’s cover what everyone has already noticed. Temmies. Lots and lots of temmies. Including the Underground variety. Seems like Emmet successfully made contact! Congrats to you, geezer tem, and the courageous campers that helped you!~

*~Might as well get the odd one out over with. A bout of heavy snowfall overnight left the Crystal Valley in a prime condition for some sledding. Mountain trails covered in a fine fluffy layer of frost. It saw some rather heartwarming use by a few of the Justice campers actually, having a good time before that court case. Adilet @sixsmolsouls , Bobby @six-souls-chilling, Finch @tenderjustice, and, breaking the norm, the Cyan Pip @sixvoidventurers popped into the valley through some portal...I’ll have to check the rules on that. But anyways they had themselves an adorable friendship moment. And nearly missed their chance to sled as the court case was about to commence. Clover kid wouldn’t let that happen though. Adilet made sure they had at least one sled ride, and Bobby made sure it ended at a portal to the Courtroom. That must’ve been quite an entrance!~

*~Speaking of courtrooms, we’ll be covering that next! Camp Counselor Chain set up a mock trial, or at least it seemed like one, recruiting the local justice campers to act as the Prosecution and the integrity kids to act as the Defense. And the suspect? Why none other than Bored Index the Fool [ @lord-invex]! Bugbrain stood accused for the attempted thievery of a valuable artifact, a Vase engraved with Murals of Temkind. A maid supposedly found him trying to steal the vase and had an altercation, leading to the vase being shattered.~

*~The testimonies and evidence didn’t quite line up however. Invex claimed that while inspecting the vase, somebody accosted him from behind and sprayed an painful substance into his eyes. When he recovered, the vase was broken, a glove was left by its remains, and a shard from the vase was in his jacket. A maid had found him and led a securitem to arrest the pest. The aforementioned maid was called to the stand after the bugs stench finally aired out.~

*~And here’s where the the details get fuzzy. Marcy, the maid, wasn’t quite consistent with her story. It didn’t line up with Invex’s, nor what was shown on the security footage. The glove found at the scene matches one she was carrying, and fit her. She falsified injuries. And a shard of the artifact was found in her pocket! Pretty damming evidence. Prosecution and Defense were all over that. The maid was found to be guilty! Good job to Skela { @cuteskeleton07] for her excellent performance as the maid! And a shoutout to Emmy [ @two-littlesouls] and Bonnie [ @soulsofvirtue] for keeping a level head during the ordeal. A less positive shoutout to Serena [ @six-souls-in-hiding]. Discharging your firearm in the courtroom? Seriously?! Lucky you weren’t locked up!~

[[Assassinations and more, Under The Cut!]] 

*~Now onto the most nefarious activity of the day: Assassins! Guess it would make perfect sense that Camp Counselor Cam [ @two-littlesouls] set up this wicked game. Janitors. Nearly invisible, know every dirty detail, and the lay of the land like the back of their hand! Three teams were established, each with their own uniquely colored peg, the goal being to sneak up and snatch the two opposing teams pegs. And it was glorious! Stealthy takedowns, blatant grabs, distract & eliminate, struggles, and reversal wars all around the camp!~

*~Notable sneaksters would be Bonnie [ @soulsofvirtue] with a whopping 7 eliminations! Darren [ @thesixchildren] creeps up in second place with 4 pegs taken. Yeah, cowgirl didn’t give anyone a chance heheheh. Here is some prime peg grabs:

Bonnie getting into a reversal war with Dolores [ @nolvlost], with the sneakthief grabbing the vaquero’s decoy, a long bullet, followed by the peg itself.

A Temgon Rider was on the prowl with his mighty steed...and was promptly eliminated by a reversal after just making his entrance. Tara [ @taras-timeline], that was just cruel to me!

Aiden [ @kindtale] the opportunistic little miscreant, swooped in on and defeated the Bonnie menace. The most unexpected of heroes! Good job kid!

Darren and Harriet [ @sevendeadlysouls] got into quite a battle in the cafeteria. Reversal after reversal, but eventually Darren came out with the peg.

Quite a battle on the lake between some friends. Ikki [ @determinedbuns] attempted to ambush her friend Omen [ @the-selfishsoul] but missed, leaving herself open to a countergrab. Which Omen promptly, allowing the bunkid to make another attempt, succeeding that time. John [ @fusedfloras] avenged his friend soon after with a bit of trickery. Did you really think he would just hand his peg over Ikki?!~

*~In other news, more delinquency! How surprising. Jesse [ @8humansouls] made quite an impressive curfew break, running rings around the temmie throughout the who island! First hiding in the Crystal Valley, then dashing away to the Floating Icelets, outright jumping off the Island to escape pursuit! You got guts kid! Too bad courage and luck only got ya so far. After reappearing in the Master Cabin, Jesse ran to the Jungle Greenhouse to hide. Unfortunately a certain Crow [ @ask-dogi] saw her and summoned the Temmies. Didn’t take long until she was apprehended and returned to the Yellow Cabin.~

*~We have unconfirmed reports of another curfew breaker, but they either didn’t exist or they were never caught. What we do know is that several temmies stopped their pursuit of Jesse after finding a rather comfy blanket to sleep on. [ @the-grephil-anomaly].~
