ollie is the one to excitedly suggest the idea of a sleepover before blushing and shyly adding that you can say no and he promises he won't be upset if you do

of course, you and kimi are totally on board, even if the idea of seeing your partners at their most vulnerable made you all so shy

but you still go on with it and, before long, kimi is picking you up to take you both to ollie's place

you find yourself feeling very shy there as well, awkwardly placing your things where ollie tells you to before standing in the hallway

kimi is a bit less awkward due to having been here before, but you're frozen in place and you have to be tugged into the living room by the over excited bear cub that is ollie

you managed to relax some more as you three watch movies together and have dinner together but soon, the awkwardness floods back through all three of you as you get closer to night time

you get changed in the bathroom, still too shy to change in front of your two boyfriends, before slowly shuffling back into the bedroom only to find all of the blankies, plushies, duvets & pillows ollie owns scattered all over the floor

ollie wanted to make a pillow/blanket fort and kimi agreed so they pulled everything out without waiting for your answer but luckily, you were on board

the three of you have so much fun making the fort that, soon enough, the awkwardness is, once again, momentarily forgotten

it soon comes back when you lie down and feel kimi's arm brush yours when he follows suit

ollie is still getting ready for bed so he's not there, but you're really shy and tense, and so is kimi and then, before you can register it, kimi is kissing you

nothing insane, just a soft press of your lips together but it happens and you blush bright red

of course, ollie walks in at this moment and starts whining because he wanted to kiss you guys first!

you give ollie a kiss, still burning up in shyness, before watching ollie and kimi kiss

once that's all done, you lie back down again and are immediately cuddled up to by both of your boyfriends, the pair of them all but purring at the affection

you tense before quickly relaxing and melting into their touches

the three of you fall asleep relatively peacefully after that, and when you wake up, most of the still present awkwardness between you three is gone!

On this day, 15 May 1919, Canada's best-known general strike occured when 30,000 workers across Winnipeg, in the public and private sectors, walked off their jobs, bringing the city to a halt. It all began after talks broke down between workers in the building and metal trades, who wanted to organise into industrial unions, and their employers. The strike ended June 25, but not before "Bloody Saturday" when mounted police charged a group of strikers, resulting in two deaths, 35 to 45 casualties, and numerous arrests. Seven Winnipeg strike leaders, including one from the One Big Union, were eventually convicted of a conspiracy to overthrow the government and sentenced to jail terms ranging from six months to two years. i kinda just made this protective headcanons because why not?

you've got yourself two very protective boyfriends here

as a tiny hybrid, a lot of people think they can push you about and kimi & ollie won't stand for it at all

ollie may seem all squishy and cozy at first but the second anyone hurts you, he's roaring in people's faces

not quite as intimidating as an actual bear or an older bear hybrid but still quite intimidating nonetheless

he has sharp teeth and even sharper claws and ollie is not afraid to use them to hurt people who hurt you

gets in trouble for it often until videos & photos of evidence come out of someone physically manhandling you or hurting you

you're not intimidating at all and you're very respectful and polite, so most people know you'd move out of the way if someone asks, but a lot of people love to just shove you around

ollie tries his best to create a mini burrow-like area in his driver's room but there really isn't a lot of space so he just tries to hoard blankets for you instead

kimi is much the same except he doesn't hoard blankets, he hoards snacks for you

this usually means that, should you need the comfort, ollie is off to fetch a blanket whilst kimi is slowly handing you snacks (they both love watching your cheeks swell with food tbh)

kimi is even worse than ollie when he decides to hurt someone but he's better at controlling it than ollie is

you and ollie know just how hot kimi runs but he rarely let's other people get close enough to feel

therefore, the first time he burnt someone through his fingertips alone, everyone was insanely shocked

this lead to a whole round of investigations about whether or not he's safe enough to drive

you squeak into the conversation at that, shyly taking kimi's hand and wrapping it around your wrist

kimi understands what you're doing and squeezes as hard as he feels comfortable (he doesn't wanna hurt you with the pressure)

when he pulls away? no burns which promptly ends the discussion

ollie and kimi stick up for each other, of course they do, but they defend you so much more

the first time ollie pounced on someone, roared in their face and nearly bit someone, your squeaking cries were the only thing that stopped him

he leapt up and bounded over to you, picking you up and purring softly at you to calm you down

it's still joked about in the paddock how ollie went from practically mauling someone to smooching up on you within seconds

a similar situation happened when kimi breathed fire for the first time, except you almost got hurt

someone was making fun of your voice and tugging harshly at your sensitive ears and kimi lost it

scales skittered over his skin and fire shot from his mouth before he could even stop it

you were way too close to the blast and with your extra-sensitivity to heat, you couldn't help but whimper and drop to a ball on the floor

kimi felt horrible and he ran over instantly, hovering nearby - he couldn't touch you, not with his skin still boiling hot

ollie got you and once kimi calmed down, he pressed kisses over your skin until you giggled and squirmed

the amount of gifts and kisses and cuddles and apologies you got from your boyfriends' after each of these incidents was crazy

you were walking around practically glowing with love

the two of them are very protective so there is no way in hell you're getting hurt too much

and if you do get hurt, kimi and ollie won't let the perpetrator get away unpunished
