Online Dating In Clark County, Nevada
Let’s be honest, Las Vegas isn’t the first place that comes to mind when one thinks about trying to find true love or even necessarily a great first date and/or a fun, meaningful six month relationship. Instead, it’s the destination where you met that random guy you would never have looked at twice outside of Vegas, but – hey – you were wearing a sequin tube top and what happens in Vegas… You see where I’m going with this? But, here’s the thing, some of us actually live here. I know, I know. It’s a novel idea. And while most locals would rather endure an unmedicated root canal than drive to The Strip, park at a casino and navigate through drunk tourists double fisting foot-long margaritas, there are plenty of hidden gems throughout our neon oasis in the desert. Fremont East
Until very recently, I lived most of my four years in Sin City a few blocks from Las Vegas Boulevard and while there really is a lot The Strip has to offer, more on that later, I would always prefer to get away from the tourists and the traffic and the blinding Ed Hardy get-ups and head downtown to Fremont East. Let’s keep it real, this is where the cool kids congregate and where some of the most fun, unique places this city has to offer are located. I suggest starting your evening at Bar + Bistro, home of monthly vintage bike night, for some tapas and sangria before making your way down Fremont Street to pop in and out of fun bars while making witty, flirtatious and, most importantly, funny banter. From the bar where you sometimes wish everyone didn’t know your name and your ex wasn’t permanently parked at the bar, The Griffin, to one of the best places to drink a beer and listen to live music, The Beauty Bar, to a place you can play your favorite arcade game while sipping on a vodka tonic, Insert Coins, to the only place in town I know of where you can get on a teeter-totter with your date, Park, the bars on Fremont East have it all. And if I could find a guy who would take me to my favourite piano bar, Don’t Tell Mama, he would pretty much have my heart forever. Image via LinksmanJD on Flickr.
The Beat
While I went here, Republic Bar + Kitchen, on my first online date in Las Vegas, I think the majority of people meeting someone from the internet for the first time worry about a few things: a) Can I make a quick getaway if I’m not feeling it?, b) How big of a time investment do I need to make for someone I may or may not have anything to talk about with? and c) Where is a safe place I will likely survive the first meeting if my date ends up being a serial killer? This is where coffee shops come to the rescue. Sunrise Coffee is definitely my favorite coffee spot in town and makes me feel like I’m back in Seattle (which, in my world, is a very good thing). They are local, independent, serve vegetarian and vegan-friendly fare and draw a crowd that my friends from back home would look at and say, “This is Vegas?” Last, but not least, check out The Beat for your first online date. If you end up with too many awkward silences while sipping your latte, you can thumb through their collection of records or stroll through Emergency Arts. Image via lmundy202 on Flickr.
Nove at the Palms
For a romantic date in Vegas, I suggest taking your special someone to The Strip for a delicious dinner and then out to a show. One thing we have an abundance of here in Las Vegas is a plethora of fine dining options. But, beware, plenty of these options also come with a hefty price tag. Luckily, many restaurants here offer a pre-fixe menu with smaller, more affordable alternatives to their regular priced entrees. Some of my favorite meals I’ve ever had have been here on The Strip. For Japanese cuisine, and a meal that will still make your mouth water two years later just thinking about it, try Shibuya. I still dream about the rock shrimp tempura and the Kobe beef. Another favorite is Nove at the Palms. The dinner I had there is still imprinted on my heart and the view alone is worth the visit. Wherever you choose to dine for your special night, if you give it a quick ten minutes search of the best new restaurants on The Strip, you’ll find just the right one and definitely won’t be disappointed. Trust me. After dinner, I suggest taking in one of the Cirque du Soleil shows. You know I’m still waiting for someone to take me to see Michael Jackson ONE, but you really can’t go wrong with the Beatles LOVE. You’ll leave holding hands, singing songs and believing that all you need is, in fact, love. Image via lmundy202 on Flickr.
Valley of Fire
Dating Service Las Vegas
For a casual date in (or around) Vegas, I have a few suggestions. If you hop on your card and head north with a packed picnic basket, Valley of Fire would be the perfect spot for a sweet lunch with a gorgeous view. Another option is taking a stroll through the botanical gardens at The Springs Preserve. A place that will be sure to impress, and if you bring your camera will provide plenty of vintage Vegas inspired photos, is the Neon Boneyard. This is the spot where the signs of Vegas yesteryear, or what I like to call the Elvis and Priscilla Vegas, have gone to their loving resting place. Trust me, your date will love it, but be sure to book a tour. If a fantastic, casual meal is what you’re in the mood for, please head to my happy place, Yama Sushi. Try the Sun on the Beach roll (I’m not kidding when I say it will change your life) and tell them Kathleen sent you. Image via lmundy202 on Flickr.
The Golden Nugget Pool
For a fun and adventurous date, it would be fun to head back down to Fremont during the day for a swim at my favorite hotel, The Golden Nugget. There, you will find the most magical pool you’ve ever seen. Don’t believe me? TripAdvisor once listed The Tank as the only US pool in their Top Ten Most Amazing Hotel Pools in the World list. This is where you can slide through a glass-enclosed aquarium with sharks. Yes, you read that right. Look into it here. While you’re down on Fremont, take your date on a zipline through the Fremont Street Experience. These rides will be offered again in the fall. Another adventurous activity is a trek to Red Rock Canyon to check out the petroglyphs. Last, but not least, if you’re looking for an adventurous and very memorable date in Vegas, I suggest a helicopter ride over The Strip at night. An added bonus would be to softly play Kanye West’s “All of the Lights” in the background because, in this town, it is Vegas everywhere we are. Image via LinksmannJD on Flickr

Sten Hugo Hiller - 627184: Mecha Combat #987 - September 3347 King Chrono
(By Sten Hugo Hiller - 627184) Mountain Climbing Mecha Combat #987
Brought to you by ANN
Highlighting the September 3347 King Chrono
The pounding I had taken in the Double Rainbow while trying to beat Ken Fuchs had me quite dizzy, so my formation was a bit late in leaving the arena. Just as we were to exit, the following event was announced: An unlimited Chrono.
The key to get (good) prizes in a Chrono is to sign up ASAP. In addition one should get in correct formation soonest, be reasonably strong and get back to the arena from time to time to improve the standing. I turned around, and after registration was done the top spot was mine since none other had signed up yet.
Few contestants showed up at first, and my team stayed on the top for quite a while accumulating points at the highest possible rate. This state of affairs could of course not last, but when the serious opposition showed up, my score was quite high already. Of course, staying on the top when big names like myeponym of Death`s Revenge, Jelloshots Suckeddown of the Northwind Dragons, Colin Toenjes of the Heroes in addition to roward and Russ Painter of the Black Star Lycan Rangers show up is close to impossible, -at least for me.
My teams position changed quite a bit over the event. A few times we managed to get the top, other times we were sent to the foothills. But mostly we managed to stay on the slopes. As the end neared we held the lowest slope, but the early points we had gotten gave us enough of an edge to outscore the rest.
The highest scorers in this event was:
Div 1 343+ (20 Commanders): Dexter Berry, Warlock (+26160) 2: Bernard Johnson 3: Fabio Favaro 4: Ben Rail 5: Terry Cole 6: Jeff Haas 7: Gary Muenzel 8: David Buchanan 9: Claude Poirier 10: Don Davis Div 2 -342 (16 Commanders): Mike Wach. B.o.A.D. (+40) Div 3 -224 (7 Commanders): David Sifford, Northwind Dragons (+22320) Div 4 -180 (22 Commanders): Sten Hugo Hiller, Star League (+7380) Div 5 -144 (29 Commanders): Spike Shepard, T.B. BlackWatch (+10320) Div 6 -104 (25 Commanders): Markus Eisenhand, Black Star Bandits (+770) Div 7 -78 (28 Commanders): Map Chap, Brigade of Patrol Smurfs (+25460) Div 8 -60 (29 Commanders): Douglas Rainey, Renegades (+29150) Div 9 -39 (16 Commanders): David Anderson, *R.V.* (+13540) Div 10 -23 (19 Commanders): Enigma, *R.V. 2.0* (+16270) Div 11 -14 (12 Commanders): MinisterBob, Zato`s Shaolin Scouts (+28400)
Total Contestants: 223 Total medals claimed: 154 (of 165 possible)
Compared to the recent Double Rainbow we saw an increase of fifty-one fighting formations in this event. But the imbalance between the tops, (and the curse of K3) resulted in 8 Bronzes from K3 and 3 Bronzes from K11 ending unclaimed and being returned for resmelting. [The turnout for K3 was 25%. 47 Commanders invited, 19 of them currently inactive]
The highest score achieved in this event was 110 000. The only Commander who managed to stand on the top for all the 88 score rounds was MinisterBob from Zato`s Shaolin Scouts on K11. Highest margin to the runner-up was on K9 where Renegades` Douglas Rainey was 29 150 ahead. Lowest score needed for a medal was 5760 for a Bronze on K3.
Seven Commaders won by a margin of at least 12 000, while two won by less than a thousand. The closest Gold fight was decided by only 40 points this time. Makes one wonder how close the struggles for the rest of the prizes was. To find out, we take a look at the differences between the medal tiers in this event:
...Silver to Bronze..Bronze to nothing Div 1 ......5350......…….960 Div 2 ......5660..........10180 Div 3 ....62760......…….N/A Div 4 ......5580......…..1640 Div 5 ......4310......…..4760 Div 6 ....10530......…..6520 Div 7 ......9840......…….840 Div 8 ......8620......…….610 Div 9 ......1560......….18380 Div 10 ….1880......…….600 Div 11 ….9240......…….N/A
Some really impressive walls here, but we also had four of the nine contested Bronzes decided by less than 1000. This shows again that signing up ASAP and getting some early points might well be the difference between getting a prize or not.
The clans had been restored to their Pre-Toshiko membership, but even so none of them managed to secure more than one Gold each. None of the unaligned Commanders managed to outscore their competitors, neither did any of the Double Rainbow winners.
Upcoming event: Missile Command
This is an unlimited event, with a twist. In the weapon enhanced events like this, one class of weapons get a modest boost of 80% to the damage they deliver. Here the pampered weapon class are the Missiles
Event ends May 29 between 0400 and 0430 New York Time

Stop Comcast Debt Harassment
Is Comcast harassing you over a debt? Is Comcast placing robocalls to you or sending you unsolicited text messages? You have rights under state and federal laws! We will aggressively enforce the law to stop this harassment. Not only will we stop the harassment, but you may be entitled to money damages, too. Finally, you won’t have to pay us a dime for our services. Keep reading to learn about your rights.
Comcast Cablevision, Inc. is an American television broadcasting company; its current headquarters are in Philadelphia, PA, and besides cable television service, the company also sells satellite TV, and internet and telephone service. The company was founded in 1963, in Tupelo, MS. Comcast also goes by the name Xfinity in some areas. For set monthly amounts, ranging from $29.99 on up, Comcast offers various service packages to residences and small businesses.
What happens, though, if you find yourself in financial difficulty and you cannot pay your Comcast bill? Well, you’re not alone. Comcast is contacting you to collect a debt, whether you owe it or not, Comcast must follow the law. Comcast was rated C- by the Better Business Bureau, which has received 4644 complaints on Comcast’s billing and payments branch in the last twelve months alone. The BBB has not accredited Comcast, which is also not a good sign for customer service.
If Comcast has done anyone of the following, contact Agruss Law Firm, LLC, for a free case evaluation:
• Called you after you told them to stop calling you.
• Called you about a debt you do not owe.
• Continued to call you after you have told the collector you cannot pay the debt.
• Communicated (phone or letter) with you after you filed for bankruptcy.
• Communicated (phone or letter) with you after you told the collector you have a lawyer.
• Called you before 8:00 a.m. or after 9:00 p.m.
• Called you at work after you told the collector you cannot receive such calls at work.
• Left you a voicemail message without saying the company’s name.
• Called third parties (family, friends, co-workers, or neighbors).
• Threatened legal action against you.
• Placed robocalls to you.
• Sent you unsolicited text messages.
If Comcast has done any of the above, you may be entitled to money damages. Plus, you won’t have to pay us a dime for our services. Founding attorney, Michael Agruss, has settled over 1,500 debt collection harassment cases. Now, we want to you help you, too. Contact Agruss Law Firm, LLC, at 888-572-0176 for a free consultation.

Windham Weaponry -> Introducing our new 9MM Carbine

Vol. 6 / Issue #7 / July 2017
MARKETING NEWS
Mark Eliason, VP Sales & Marketing
In the heat of the Summer (OK, well, as hot as it gets in Maine!), we’d like to introduce you to a hot new Windham Weaponry 9MM Carbine.
This unique new offering incorporates some of our Multi-Caliber System features with a package of top notch accessories, all in the easy to shoot and affordable 9MM caliber.
We’ve done things a bit differently in this month’s newsletter as we encouraged our Head Gunsmith, Erik Winter, to do the write-up on this rather than one of his usual tutorial articles, and we combined that with our Feature Gun for the Month. These 9mm Carbines are so new that you may have to press your local FFL Dealer a bit to get one in for your closer inspection as they are just hitting the distribution chain now. But don’t hesitate to do that, and enjoy your Summer!
To see all our rifles and accessories, go to www.windhamweaponry.com
or call us for a free catalog (1-855-808-1888) – We would love to hear from you.
As always, hunt and shoot safely, and feel free to contact us with any AR related questions.
FROM THE GUNSMITH’S BENCH
Erik Winter, Windham Weaponry Gunsmith
TOPIC: Introducing our new 9MM Carbine
For this month’s gunsmithing article, rather than a how-to column I’d like to present our new 9mm Carbine because I’m pretty excited about it. I think this is a great addition to our line of rifles, and it allows you to get your feet wet in the MCS (Multi Caliber System) world by starting off only buying a single caliber rifle. This gets you a great 9mm carbine with the added versatility of being able to upgrade to other magazine wells and calibers down the road if you wish. You can buy a standard AR magazine well and the carbine buffer and it will allow you to use uppers in 5.56, .300 Blackout, .450 and 7.62 x 39 (AR style). You could also later buy an AK47 magazine well and MCS upper in 7.62×39 and be able to use standard AK47 magazines. So the options you have in the future are numerous all using the same lower receiver that comes standard with our 9mm carbine.

This Month’s Question is:
People often ask “What is the Windham Weaponry Special Build Program ?”
Answer:
Our Special Build Program allows you to order a custom built rifle through your local FFL Dealer. Your uniquely configured rifle will be built at the factory to suit your individual taste and shooting style. Most Windham Weaponry rifle models can be ordered with a wide variety of our Windham Weaponry accessories custom installed by our professional Gunsmiths.
First, choose the rifle and list of accessories we offer (see website or catalog) that you would like installed on your rifle. Then visit your local FFL gun dealer and ask them to call us for pricing. The dealer will order the rifle, we will build it and ship directly to your dealer.
If you have any questions about this process, or about parts compatibility, please give us call.
Note: You can also have us build an Upper Receiver Assembly with accessory parts of your choice. We can do that through a direct factory order, so just tell us what you want!
Here are links to our website section called “Trick My Rifle” where we show you some of the variations on the AR platform. Let your imagination run wild!
