Here is the second in my series of mermaids that combine my love of #ceramicmermaids and #popculture She-Ra Princess of Power goes perfectly with my previous Xena Warrior Princess because all collectors of ceramic mermaids know they come in pairs.

Here’s a fun drawing challenge. Try to draw a character from memory alone. You can’t look at any sort of reference or else it’s cheating. It doesn’t have to be an exact copy. It can be somewhat in your style, but must have all the key design elements of the original character. It’s much harder than it sounds. I chose to draw 80’s She-ra. I figured she was a good character cause of all the design elements of her look. I foolishly thought it would be easy cause I was such a huge fan of the cartoon as a kid. I watched every episode! Boy, was I wrong! Several times I had to resist the urge to look her design up! 😅 I’m happy with my results, but I clearly missed the mark of some elements.
