Since 2000, Suzuki has produced and sold the Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 as a city car, especially for the Indian market, through its subsidiary Maruti Suzuki. The Suzuki Alto kei automobile from the first generation was essentially an Indianized version of the fifth-generation model (with more powerful engine options). Built on the same basis as the previous generation, the second generation was created as an independent model. The S-Presso's foundation serves as the foundation for the third-generation model.
The three-cylinder K10 has the chassis code RF310, the four-cylinder export variant is RF410, and the original Alto 800 has RF308 as its code. The well-established and similarly well-liked Maruti 800 (MB 308) was considered as the Alto's inevitable successor. In addition to including technologies like power-steering, power-assisted brakes, and a fifth gear that the alto 800 did not typically have, it had all the positive attributes that the alto 800 gave Indian vehicle consumers.
The Maruti Alto 800 is a hatchback vehicle with enough for four occupants. It costs between Rs. 3.54 Lakh to Rs. 5.13 Lakh in India. The Alto 800 is available in four distinct colors and five different variations.
KEY FEATURES:
1. Fuel Efficiency
The Alto 800 is distinguished by its great fuel economy, making it the perfect option for people wishing to reduce their gasoline costs. It offers excellent mi.....read more

POWER STEERING SYSTEM: COMPONENTS, TYPES AND WORKING PRINCIPLES
A steering system of an automobile is an integral part of the vehicle dynamics of the vehicle in which a series of mechanical components having certain important angles come together to steer the front wheels of the vehicle according to input provided by the passenger through the steering wheel.
And the power steering system is the advanced steering system in which the effort required to steer the front wheels of the vehicle side to side is reduced by using intermediate electric or hydraulic devices that multiplies the force applied by the driver through the steering wheel to achieve a smooth and quick directional change of the vehicle.
Today all 80% of the cars on road are equipped with a power steering system which has become the basic need of today’s automobile.
We need power steering due to the following reasons
1. Quick response
As the number of the vehicle on the road is increasing day by day and today almost 60% families of the world are having a 4 wheeler in their houses, with this increase in several vehicles the danger of accidents on road is also increased, so to avoid this danger and to take quick turns required by the road conditions a quick response steering system is required in a 4 wheel vehicle.
2. Steering efforts
If we drive old cars like Maruti Suzuki 800, it is found that the steering wheel of the car feels very hard to rotate when the vehicle is going below 40 km/hr (above that the steering feels less hard) which is found to cause fatigue to the driver while going on a long ride. So a vehicle should be equipped with a power steering system so that the steering effort required to steer the front wheels can be reduced.
3. Bump steer
As we know the bumps of the road are reduced by the suspension system but as the steering system is directly attached to the wheel’s hub some amount of bumps force is also transferred to the steering system which in turn tries to steer the vehicle
