Filoni repeatedly ignoring other artists' established work when it suits him aside, I don't think it's necessarily a huge issue that Morgan Elsbeth originates the earliest concept of what eventually becomes the TIE Defender program. There's a lot of blank space in her story during which she can take an interest in engineering and ship design, and if she's been watching/paying attention to the Imperial military for a long time, maybe it's not completely unreasonable that she could have identified a space that could be better filled by something like the Defender. That doesn't contradict Thrawn advocating for such a program, getting it, and pulling together all the people and resources he needs to turn Elsbeth's PowerPoint slides into reality. Thrawn doesn't need to be an engineer for this; he just needs to bring engineers together and enable them however he can to make things happen.

I just know the gossip on the 7th fleet had to be insane. Darth Vader and Thrawn are playing tactics mind games on the bridge Thrawn isn't even aware of them and he's still winning. Bridge officers go to lunch and they're like "Hey guys so like what the fuck was That." like listen to me I just KNOW they had the funniest gossip possible. They meet up with a friend from another fleet and exchange news and it's like "Yeah no there's rumors of promotions or whatever here and there in our fleet, what about yours?" "Ok so basically Lord Vader was on the Chimera for a while and apparently he and the Admiral have a really intense dynamic. Like I hate to speculate about my senior's relationships but... regardless. Also, some people in the fleet think the Admiral is force-sensitive or a Jedi, but I don't think so?? Like, yeah, sure, he seems to see things other people don't but he's also an alien so like idk I think that's unfounded. Ummmm we ran into the fucking Chiss Ascendancy so people are talking about That on the ships. Yeah. DONT tell anyone I told you but-"

Since you and Dan Heng started dating, there weren’t many mission you didn’t take part in together. However, after the events of Penacony, you decided you wanted to recuperate both your mental and physical health in the comfort of the Astral Express.

Dan Heng, who wanted to see more of the Xianzhou fleets decided he would go on the next mission. While you knew you would miss him, you were excited for him to have some more fun experiences with the crew. 

You decided you would send him off with a grand gesture. And what better way to someone’s heath than food? 

You weren’t the best chef in the world, but you could hold your own in the kitchen. At least, compared to Himeko and her coffee.You had planned to whip up a lunch box full of fried rice—with rock crab included to spice up the flavor—comfort food, and some izumo miso. Simple, but effective. Besides, what truly mattered is how cutely it was presented! With neatly shaped fried rice and sauce making little hearts and smiley faces on the food, Dan Heng was bound to love it.

Before Dan Heng was to depart for the next Xianzhou fleet, you gave him a big hug and handed him a nice lunch box.

“Everything is in an insulated container but it only holds the heat for twenty-four hours,” you stated as he graciously accepted the meal. “Try to eat it while it’s still warm!”

He nodded, ruffling the top of your head affectionately. “Will do. Make sure you get a lot of rest while you’re here. Message me if you get scared at night.”

You laughed despite how grateful you were for his offer. Being apart for long periods of time may be hard but at least you knew Dan Heng would always be there for you. 

“I’ll try to be brave without you,” you teased. “Now go, you should catch up with March 7th and Caelus. And remember—try to stay safe.”

“I’ll return to you in one piece,” he assured with a hint of amusement in his tone.

“You better!”

“I promise.”

By the time Dan Heng was able to sit down and at, it was night time and he was in his hotel room after a long day out. Worriedly, he pulled the lunch you packed him out of his bag. 

Dan Heng recalled you telling him it would only be kept warm for twenty-four hours, and it was well over thirty now. Still, he was certain it would taste just as good since it was made with love and effort from you. Besides, microwaves existed on the Xianzhou if worst came to worst.

He removed all the lids from the containers and a whiff of some of his favorite foods filled his senses. Dan Heng’s stomach finally growled after the tiring day he had. 

Before he dug in, he noticed a piece of paper taped to a lid. Dan Heng chuckled to himself, knowing it was none other than a secret note from you. If he were only a tad less attentive, he wouldn’t have even noticed it was there.

Dan Heng opened it up.

You found me! c: 

A smile was immediately placed on Dan Hengs face. Oh, how he missed you already. It was too late at night to call you now—he didn’t want to disturb your rest, but he would certainly message you after he finished reading your note.

By the time you’re reading this, the food is probably cold, isn’t it?

He chuckled sheepishly. You knew him too well at times.

It’s okay though. I give you permission to microwave it just this once <3

I hope the first day of your mission went well. Not too many fights today, I hope? No Vidyadhara form required yet? Don’t overexert yourself, okay?

ASTROLOGY OBSERVATIONS- 21

☆ Venus aspecting Pluto means the native can be very intense when it comes to love affairs or relationships in general (pluto is associated obsession/intensity while Venus represents love/romance). Others can obsess about you because of your intense aura, this is a "femme fatale" placement.

for the past few weeks—months, even—your girlfriend, daniela, has been begging you, practically on her knees, to let her do your makeup, just once, for a single outing with the other members.

and as much as you wanted to indulge in her pleas, especially with the latina's hand tugging on your sleeves, you knew how distracted and late you two would be with just daniela near you with her hands perched on your face, and you also knew how frustrated sophia would be with the two of you.

however, to your dismay, today was daniela's lucky day.

"stop moving!" daniela exclaims, her ring-clad hand brushing against your cheek with a makeup wipe.

"i'm not!" you huff, as you scoot over closer to daniela, the two of you sprawled on the wooden planks of her room.

she rolls her eyes before tossing the used makeup wipe into the trashcan, an eyeliner pen in her hands, as she straddles your lap. daniela's hand brings the eyeliner pen back to your closed eye, her breath fanning against your ear.

"y'know, it shouldn't take this long, dani," you tease, prodding at her cheek, a mischievous gleam painting your eyes. for a fleeting moment, you think about pressing your lips against hers, only to realize that'd delay you guys further.

"well, it wouldn't take this long if you just closed your eyes," the blonde-haired girl retaliates, letting out an irritated huff, before her thighs once again rest on your lap.

the eyeliner pen finds its way back to your eyes, as daniela tries to keep her movements steady against your fluttering eyelids, forcing the pen's tip to fall off of its course.

while daniela grunts in frustration, a grin tugs at the corners of your lips, as a giggle escapes your breath. "c'mon, lighten up; you wanted to do this!" you tease, seeing the incredulous look on the latina's face.

"oh shut up," she rolls her eyes, pausing before continuing, "just shut your eyes; you're messing me up."

"i just wanna look at my beautiful girlfriend!" you shrug, settling on a cheeky grin, before seeing the irritated look on daniela's face, making you huff, and finally shut both of your eyes.

your hands rest on the latina's waist, keeping her tuck and secure, as you lean back, giving the girl more access. the simple, familiar touch between you two reminded the both of you of how close you guys were, as you felt every breath and mumble escaping daniela's mouth.

finishing the second wing, daniela sighs with content, allowing her to finally move onto the last step. her eyes wander around the room, looking for some specific product, while your hands rest on the wooden planks, meekly waiting for the latina to finish.

grabbing the closest lipgloss to her with all the makeup scattered on the planks, daniela inches herself closer to you. the corners of her mouth quirk up, as she slides the cap off, bringing the balm to your lips. she quickly coats your lips with the muted pink-color lipgloss.

your eyes fixate on daniela's lips, as you instinctively press yourself closer to her, a gentle smile playing on your face.

"what?" the latina asks, a shy chuckle escaping her breath, as your eyes wander her features.

"nothin', you're just gorgeous, that's all," you shrug, before daniela presses herself closer against you, her arms snaking around your waist.

heat curls on the latina's cheeks at your comment laced with sincerity, as she meekly giggles before locking her velvety lips with yours. of course, you cave into her touch, as your noses' bumping against one-another's.

your hands find their way to daniela's locks, entangling them, as you savor her taste. her hands rest on your hips, as her flawless velvety lips pressed themselves against yours feverishly.

pulling back, you notice the way your lipgloss transfers onto the latina, as you laugh, bringing the mirror to her face. before you could tease her, daniela captures your lips again, humming against them.

in between each kiss, you try to push the blonde-haired girl away to avoid being scolded by sophia, only for daniela to pull you back stronger, adamant on keeping you on her lap. and of course, you attempt to again push away from daniela's loving grip.

"dani, we have to go," you mutter against her lips, your hands resting on daniela's chest to push her away. she dismisses your comment, as she presses her lips against yours again, only to mumble:

"not yet, pretty girl."

for the next moments, you continue to try to push daniela off of you gently, though you'd fail, as you inevitably give into the blonde-haired girl's, letting yourself cave into her touch.

"we don't have to be early, just on time," daniela coaxes against your ear, "sophia wouldn't mind, surely," as her whispers send a chain of shivers through your body.

you roll your eyes, meekly nodding, before giving into your temptations, an unexplainable feeling driving you to press yourself closer against daniela.

daniela flashes a grin against your lips, her gaze concentrated on you as though you were the center of the universe. and you knew, daniela was infinitely yours, and vice-versa.

Deuce Spade

• Ace would have realized what was happening to Deuce faster than him. Spade had always liked you very much but he didn't even realize when his feelings started to go in a completely different direction. He stopped seeing you as just a friend and started to imagine what it would be like if you spent even more time together alone. Which with your friends always looking for trouble was really hard.

• Ace would come up with several potential plans, each of which would backfire. The flowers? Ruined by Grim. The letter? Misplaced somewhere. Everything would turn against Deuce. His friend, tired of it all, would tell him to just get a grip because he had no more options.

• To say Deuce was shaking the whole way to you would be an understatement. But in the end, he decided he had to be himself. Deuce wanted you to love him like that. So he went exactly as he was, at night when the thought occurred to him. In his pajamas, during curfew in Heartslabyul. He figured he'd admit it to the prefect in the morning, like an honor student.

• When you opened the door for him, he said what was in his heart in one breath. He promises to love you just the way you are. Because he knows he's not perfect himself. He'll try to change, for you. Hard work is his specialty. So give him a chance and you definitely won't be disappointed.

• When you woke up in Vanrouge's dream, he wasn't the same fae you knew. You didn't really want to admit it was him but with every passing second, you began to understand him better. All the reasons why he became who he was. The lengths he would go to when he loved someone. It was then that you realized that only now did you fully understand him.

• When Lilia pulled you desperately to him in the dream, you didn't know what to do. He was your beloved but also a general who shouldn't exist anymore. His lips wandered for a moment. It wasn't a gentle kiss. Quite the opposite, it expressed hunger and longing. It said what words couldn't before the dream separated you. Now you have to do everything in your power to be able to feel it once more.

• Vil doesn't look for people who can't match his determination. He's got his life in order and knows exactly what his goals are. He's only changed the methods to achieve them. So when he realized how much he cared about the potato, he knew you had to grow up to that level of determination.

• The date was classic and classy. A bouquet of wine-red roses. In addition, you, dressed in the best, elegant clothes that Vil chose for you two. An expensive restaurant and exquisite dishes that melted in your mouth. Afterwards, a walk. The starry sky above you, which turned into a cluster of torrential clouds halfway there. However, this gave you the opportunity to play a truly cinematic scene.

• You will remember the kiss in the rain for the rest of your life. Just like running in the downpour to the nearest free roof, covered with Vil's jacket, while holding his hand. His sincere laughter is not something you hear often. It will play in your ears like a melody for a long time.
