"Well mi amor, you know me too well sometimes." In the flurry of concerns, checks and balances - at times Carlos had forgotten he was operating on autopilot. And only Rosa would have noticed that he needed a breather.

"Will this be a romantic getaway or an adventurous escapade somewhere we're both not known to anyone?" he asked again, glancing at Rosa. He gave her hand a squeeze, chuckling lightly. "I mean we're going to start playing 20 questions here."

rosa laid a gentle hand on his, softly rubbing his skin with her thumb. "you need some refreshing time off and that's exactly what i'm giving you. now just drive and i'll guide you to where we're going."
