Oscar wanted to insist that it wasn't ok, that he wished he had never made the choices he did, but he couldn't manage the words. Instead, all he could do was focus on Isaiah's voice and grasp onto the fact that in that moment, they were both alive. He just wanted to keep it that way so that they could speak properly after this was over.

"What are you-?" Oscar cut himself off when he heard the obvious yet muffled sound of pain from the other man, tensing when he put two and two together when Isaiah's hand slipped from the restraint. He kept himself silent, watching his ex approaching and remaining still so that he could work on the cuffs keeping him held down. His eyes scanned over Isaiah, the dim light just bright enough, allowing him to observe every curve and line on his face. Oscar once had that face memorised, now it was burnt into the back of his mind. "You have no idea how much I missed you too..."

Isaiah regrets how cowardly he keeps running from his telekinesis. If he gained full control of it like his other powers, maybe he could heal Sara. Best he can do now is stop the severe bleeding, and prevent debris from crashing down on them. "And there's only gonna be zero bodies here." Anyone in their world of violence knows there's risk when it comes to caring about people. High chance that you'll lose them. But Isaiah doesn't give a fuck how many more people he needs to kill along the way of getting Sara out of here. "Car's right outside that way. Think you can walk?"

Honestly my only gripe with the Banana Rumble expert missions is that some of the all-banana ones seem outright impossible. 2-10, for example, is effectively an autoscroller, and there just doesn’t seem to be enough time to get to all the bananas.

I'm genuinely of the belief that they put the 100% banana missions in there not so much as a balanced challenge for players, but as a challenge for the diehards, basically saying "hey! bet you can't do this"

Like, I remember to get the 100% banana mission for 10-1 Geometric Pattern, myself and 4 other speedrunners were in the lobby and we had a detailed gameplan on who got which banana. And it still took us like an hour to get it (the person behind it is actually working on a video talking about this little adventure which I'll definitely boost when it's done, since I was part of the team for the first half of the levels)

So I COMPLETELY get that as a gripe, but my stance is that it's not meant to be a standard challenge that you can complete during your first hundred hours as much as a challenge to the community that I doubt the dev team has been able to complete solo.

(Also one of the runners compiled a list of all the levels deemed impossible to get 100% bananas solo. I personally consider it a challenge to anyone daring enough to try and collect all the bananas in Tornado Ring)

As a final note, I think the expert time missions are much better, since I genuinely think they looked at the IL world records and based a lot of them off of those.

Only to the other man does Isaiah open up like this. Or even stand with his back to him, so that Isaiah's exposed. Vulnerable. "Can you sleep these days?" Isaiah wonders, because he can't.
