Here's a nice treat. A 16mm scan of the 1978 Halloween special "The Devil and Daniel Mouse" by Nelvana.

Scanned & restored by the good people at Kineko Video.

The original film stock was reportedly destroyed in a fire at Nelvana in the late '80. This is closest to the full 25 min version. The special is loosely based on the folktale "The Devil and Daniel Webster", it's also a precursor to Nelvana's own cult film "Rock and Rule".

Ever since I saw this video in the Pink Floyd Story: Which One’s Pink documentary I’ve been kind of obsessed with it. Animated music videos are, in my opinion, underrated and definitely deserve more attention! May be my love for animation talking here though lol
