starting reading a book for the first time in a long time & it feels so nice to read smth written by a woman w all the main characters being women & also it being abt generational trauma between mothers and daughters i’m like 👁️👁️

#michelle speaks #i’m only on chapter 3 but it’s so good it’s actually holding my attention which is so hard lmfao #also i guess the one who would be considered the main character is a lesbian 🤩 but it’s just like she has a wife u know it’s very normal #like they’re perhaps getting a divorce…..what’s more normal than getting a divorce #i just found it on the shelf in the horror section at the bookstore bc i wanted horror novels written by women #ive been wanting to read it since i got it for christmas but this was the first time i was like ok i will #anyway this is so Woman u know……i can tell that i am going to really enjoy it…….#but like it’s abt an entire line of mothers & daughters and it like goes between #7 generations of women in the family like switching povs and time period between them it’s so good……..#i just looked the author up and SHE is a lesbian. mind that’s why this is so good……..#i’m on chapter 6 now lol……..i accidentally read like 40 more pages than i planned to 😶#ok make that 60 more pages……lmfao
