Hi! You'll be seeing a lot from me in the coming days - see, I've got a good handful of recommendations, and I want to give each of them the chance to shine.

To start, 6E by Jared Sinclair.

I've been wanting to play 6e since I first read it, and I'm frankly jealous of the design. It totals out at 11 pages, and it's the best rules-light fantasy game I've ever read.

6E has just one Move: "Do Something Risky or Dangerous." Roll 2d6, and add your relevant Ability Score. Each of the game's four classes comes with its own specific Moves and additional cool abilities.

I recommend 6E if you're looking for something with the feel of an old school game (it has light elements of spell memorization/preparation and some item management), but aren't interested in a whole lot of crunch. The entire thing is pared down to the bare bones, and stitched together beautifully.
